I love this mcx more the other ones. It actually has a little of everything that you may need. Even a baby section where there is snack for the little ones. The cashier were so friendly and helpful.

The Manangs are always cool here. Its good to hear some tsismis sometimes hehe!!

An extensive variety of stuff Marines might need in a pinch. A clean, neat and well-stocked store.

They need to put a ACTUAL chain RESTAURANT at old mainside..you have that whoooooole side of base with housing. I garentee you pit a sit down restaurant somewhere there it will be busy

This area is known by many names: Officially its Mainside, also known as Old Mainside, and the 13-Area Exchange. This used to be the big exchange on Camp Pendleton, but now the big exchange is out by the I-5. The 13-Area complex now includes the Mini-Mart, the Vineyard (a package store/alcoholic beverage store), a barber shop, the ITT office (travel & entertainment), a food court, and a gas station across the street. The Mini-Mart is small but well stocked with utility/field uniforms & supplies, toiletries, and various food & drink items.

Only gave it 3 stars because they moved it from across the RAS, now everyone has to travel further.

Walked in it was very clean. I was greeted at the door from the cashier. Found what I was looking for, and did not have to wait in line. I was asked if I found everything I was looking for. Plus cashier also told me, they would be open Thanksgiving day from 9am-3pm. Great people and customer service.

Its ok but the store hours are never consistent. Seem like the hours changes everyday.

Hours on the website are different from The actual hours, it is stated it closes at 1800 on the door but it also should reflect on the website. Website reflects 2000 but it was closed at 1930.

This place is a no brainer. See if you were to join the Military you can enjoy a nice cold beverage, brought to you by the finest men and women in the world. Oh and you could also enjoy a burger at Johnny Rockets, and grab a coffee at Petes. Yummy good stuff, thanks for the hospitality!

Its so nice to always go on base to shop at the exchanges. Everyone is so helpful, nice the young lady at the vineyard package store today was so helpful always has time to talk and never gives you the feeling you are being rushed out and a way from the resister after the sale her name is Soa. She is always so happy and take great pleasure to help you. I would like to say thank you so much to have a wounded full lady like her working their and all the helpful ness she does. Good fuel prices, standard gas station/convenience store offerings, plenty of parking and room to maneuver, plus easy access back onto Vandegrift Boulevard.

Came here as a civilian stuck inside Pendleton for advanced motorcycle instructor training.I was respectfully informed by the cashier that civilians had no purchase rights for non-consumables.Staff was very kind to let me purchase my consumable foods, consumable pens, consumable coffee maker and consumable lined binder paper.

As an Uber driver I took many marines here, they really like ths store.

Good selection of goods but my God, nothing in here is less expensive than off base. Most things are actually more expensive.

Could have a wider selection of stuff. The workers could be more knowledgeable about their sections, specifically sporting good and the counter where you are supposedly able to buy hunting tags and permits, the lady didnt even know how to work the machine....

Great place to get those odds and ends when you forget them at the store. The have a good variety with a little something for everyone.

First time here. Its been many years since I was stationed at Camp Pendleton and this is an incredible facility compared to the old MCX on main side. Great improvement and made some great buys.

The lady i checked out with was so hurt that i was pricematching. Her face and voice, she was disgusted. There was no line. Nothing. It was right around 10am.

Went looking for a ring at the jewelry store and when I asked a worker if they had a size 4 ring she said “do you see it there?” I said no and she responded “then we don’t have it!” And walked away. No one helped find a different ring nor was I asked if I needed help.

Clothes are all brand and even with their price compared to the MSRP is still expensive as hell. And yes, I understand this is a Marine Corps base, but with all the Navy personnel stationed here, you would think they would have more than just a very few things navy related. I prefer going to the NEX as they seem to have better prices for clothing, toys, household items, plus they have items for every branch so it was easier to get my Air Force veteran husband items/clothes with his branch with going to the NEX down in San Diego. But the store itself is nice and kept clean for the most part. Some employees are wonderful, others I am not sure how they still have their job theyve been so rude every time Ive gone in and dealt with them. Good place to get small things when you dont want to drive off of base.

I really thought they were going to build another commissary so folks living in Deluz, Oneil heights and Mesa housings do not have to drive all the way to the Pacific view side to get something. As big and spacious as this place is, items are very limited.waste of time to even drive to this place.
