Huge thanks to the staff here, extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Needed a few parts installed on my Glock that I couldn’t do at home because of tools, they helped me out quickly and didn’t even charge me. 100% recommend to anybody needing anything firearms/parts.

Employees that work at this store are nice and respectful. The prices are on the VERY high end, and that’s putting it nicely. They’re better deals to be had else where. I’d love to support local business but I couldn’t, with good intentions, refer anyone or get myself to go spend what they’re asking. I would never pay their high prices, especially in such a saturated market like San Diego. I hope to one day be able to find a good deal with them, but until then I’ll keep being the guy just looking around/asking questions. On a positive note, in a pitch they do have what you’re looking for, you’re just gonna pay a pretty penny for it!

Been in about 4 times to price parts, ammo, and just see what was offered. 2 of the 4 times I got exactly what I needed and was given good service that I have zero business to complain about. I don’t like to be a complainer but The other 2 times I was met with condescending attitudes when asking questions about parts and the ridiculous state Mandated process of buying ammo. I understand that aspect isn’t their fault having to go though that process In order to sell ammo but they are the ones on the front line of deal with that law as retailer. Also not sure why some of these shop employees need to carry their sidearm and rifle when helping customers. It just Seems excessive and that’s coming from a gun owner.

Staff isn’t very friendly and had issues giving out info on firearms to purchase. I’ll take my business elsewhere.

I’d hate to be one of the people who gives bad reviews but unfortunately I had a bad experience today I arrived at the door waited for about 25 minutes and not once did anyone come out and asked me if I needed something 5 more people showed up and they asked me how long the wait was I said I had been their for 25 minutes. I ended up leaving. Stores pretty good don’t get me wrong but the lack of customer service needs some improvement I hope that next time I’m their in properly helped if not I’ll have visit somewhere else.

Ive been to 4 stores in the area, and Firearms Unknown is hands down the best. Due to the recent situation, very little supply is in stock at any store and lines are long everywhere. I bought an item and needed to exchange it, and Brent made it so easy, painless, and fast, that I thought I was at Costco for a second. Im glad I bought most of my supplies here, the customer service is definitely worth the wait.

This store may not have it all, not many do. If you are into upgrading your AR or building one from the 80% up, they have what you need. Not only that, these guys offer a great value as far as friendliness, knowledge and customer service. They don’t try to shamelessly up sell. They instead go out of their way to make you happy with your purchase. Currently my go to store. Worth a little extra drive for the quality and value I receive consistently at Firearms Unknown.

Price gouging Americans shouldnt be a store policy. But at Fire arms unknown its policy #1. Wait I shouldnt say that. Policy #1 is being insanely rude. Its nice to see they follow some guidelines there. Seem like some one forgot there manors.

Rude, every time I’ve been here I found the staff rude.

I dont live anywhere close to the shop and they had a item I wanted in stock at this location but I wasnt able to order it online. I called the store asking about it and I told them I wasnt able to order it. Put me on a short hold and came back and said it was fixed. So I was able to order it online. Great customer service and was very helpful.

Friendly enough staff. $2000 box of 1000 5.56mm gets negative stars. Whats worse that taking away freedoms? Extorting the ones we have left.

This place is great! The staff Knowledgeable and invest there time in informing you while not being rude or condescending about it. Ive been to many Gun stores especially the big chain ones like Dicks and Turners where its some kid or some old dude who just wants to school me or dont even know what the weapon is chambered in. If you have a question these guys are always happy to spend time with you too get you in the direction you need to.

These people had a guy waving a cardboard automatic rifle around to promote their business. Outrageous!!!

These guys have no clue about current laws for ammo purchase telling us we need Real ID in order to purchase. Real ID has been extended to 2021 due to COVID. All the other gun shops will take current drivers license. Go to Turners. I had no issue there.

Brent was honest and helped us the best way he could he cares about the customer and not just making another sale! I couldn’t give him enough positive stars! I purchased a barrel for an AR pistol from firearms unknown. Couple months later when putting it together I realized the barrel was going to be 1/2” short for the hand guard. Took it back talked to Marcus about my situation and after inspecting the barrel he exchanged it for a barrel that was 1/2” longer. These guys are very knowledgeable, friendly, and straightforward. Very lucky to have a store like this nearby.

Great Store with amazing service. They have a wide selection of 80% lowers and a large selection parts. Very friendly and great to talk to. Definitely will buy from again and reccomend to others.

Been here to build two group up projects and was able to find all the parts I needed to get the builds started and in most cases nearly finished. Staff is helpful and good at keeping a conversation while working on your parts when needed.

Just an awesome place to get your gear and great people 2nd amendments rights are highly valued!

While visiting Oceanside on vacation, the guy at Apollo Military Surplus gave me a card for this store and reccomended it. As I was traveling out of state I didnt purchase much, but I was very pleasantly surprised to see a store like this still exists in Commiefornia. Prices were a little high compared to my home state, but I would imagine their prices are cheap by California standards.

These guys are kind of bums. They sold me 3 glock 27 lowers. Didnt say anything about they have no uppers or even plans to get them. Nice guys working there but garbage, fly by night when it comes to letting a customer know that they rather take a bunch of my money knowing they wouldnt have the equipment to complete. I could have bought from glock store but been in there 20 times

The man and woman working here are both very friendly and knowledgeable. They have a ton of parts to build an 80% ar15 or 80% glock. Plus the prices are good. I bought an fde 80% ar15 lower and an easy jig. Ill definitely be back. Happy with my experience here.
