April 14th, 2021 – Interstate 15 north at Brigham City, UTPassenger front tire begins to smoke and move erratically in the wheel well of our Rockwood Ultra Lite Travel Trailer. We are returning home to Washington from a trip to southern Utah. We pull over and see that the tire is tipped forward in the wheel well and know we have trouble on our hand. We search the internet and find AMS Towing.We contact them and they dispatch Jesus to us. He arrives and jacks up the trailer and the wheel falls off. The bearings had burnt up so much that it stripped the spindle on the axel. Jesus calmly tells us that we can limp to his shop in Ogden (35 miles south of us) on three tires. He will ride behind us at 35 miles per hour to make sure we are safe and park our rig in a safe place for the night. It took us 1 hour and seven minutes and Jesus talked us through it the whole way. Made sure we were good with where our rig was parked. Then gave us advise as to where we could find and hotel.The next morning, we are in the mad hunt for a replacement axel. Rockwood works with Dexter Axel and has Torsion Axels under our trailer which are made specifically for the trailer it turns out and can not be purchased anywhere. We are due home by 4/18 and it turns out the Axels are covered by a warranty and must be manufactured and sent to AMS who will repair our trailer with them once they arrive. They must also replace a tire. This means we must leave our trailer with AMS and wait for the axels to arrive. Dieter Thomas works with us as well as Colleen in the front office to give us the courage and peace we need to leave our Gertie (our Trailer) there.The axels arrive later then we planned and AMS worked with us to keep her there, they received the Axels and installed them as well as the tire and then worked with our transport carrier to pick her up and bring her back to Snohomish, WA.There was is much more going on then what I am relaying here, but the bottom line is this. AMS is and Stand-up service provider that worked with integrity and expert professionalism in our dealing with them. Yesterday in wyoming 11/02/2021. Interstate 80. One of there drivers was towing a bobtail tractor. I let him pass cause i was forced to slow down slow truck in front of me. Then its my turn to pass and he slows down. He would not move to right lane. So i passed him on the right. Now he wants to race?? When i passed him hes flipping me off. I let him have the lead cause he was all over the road. Very dangerous driver. I thought he was going to hit my truck. Very un professional. Share the road drivers and show respect for other motorist and the company that you drive for.

Brendan? Was very courteous. When I requested a four point tie down and no J hooks, he let me know that a four point tie down is all they ever do. Thank you Steve and Angie for ALWAYS taking such great care of my family and me!!

Michael Larsen was an absolute professional. Called in to get my BMW towed to my residence from a previous location and he immediately came out to help. Car had been sitting there for several months so the battery was dead emergency brake was stuck on. He was able to get it on and towed anyways without causing it to drag or damage to the brakes or wheels. I then had him try to drop the vehicle off on top of my driveway which is angled and has plants and trees that make it tough for any vehicle to make it up let alone drop off a vehicle from a tow truck. He was able to do it somehow, even took the time to make sure to protect my sprinkler heads and any vegetation. He is a true master at his craft and will be using him without hesitation when I need my next tow. Thank you Michael!

If I could give no stars, I would. I called for a tow at 7pm on a Thursday as my truck broke down and I was stranded. Website advertised 24 hour towing and a location near where my truck broke down (5-10 miles away).Dispatch took all of my info, my credit card, and said it would be about 45 minutes; the driver would call when they were close. I called back after an hour because I did not hear from the driver or see them. I was told that they do not come to my location so late and would not be coming (8pm is late?). I mentioned that the website advertised 24 hr service and had a location nearby and I was told that was not accurate; their location was 30 miles away.Thanks for leaving me stranded for over an hour. You could have at least had the decency to call me and tell me you were not coming.

Angie & our tow truck driver, Cory, went above and beyond in handling our Motorhome with care as if it was their own. Nobody wants to be in the position of needing to shorten their vacation or with needing an expensive tow. After using them, we highly recommend AMS for anyone finding themselves in a similar situation, when you need to put your trust with someone that will care for your property. Cory hauled our Motorhome well over 400 miles and sent us a picture once it was safely parked. We could not be happier with their performance!

David went out of his way to help us when our fifth wheel was disabled on the side of I-84 near Logan Utah. From what I understand he doesnt specialize in RVs, but he was able to help immensely. Were from out of state and not familiar with the area at all, and had already spent a considerable amount of time dealing with roadside dispatch from our insurance carrier.David quickly assessed the situation, took two wheels for replacement tires and provided additional roadside repairs to fix an issue that was preventing one of the wheels from spinning. The work was completed very quickly considering we were far from town and David needed to make multiple trips to get what was needed. He even followed us back to town to make sure we got there safely and called us to wish us safe travels afterwards.

My professional towing technician was absolutely the best! So we have been doing job with this company few times and everything was great until I called them this.morning and they sent me a rate of $150 an hour over emails before I called. But when I called the girl told me that we have to pay for 2 hours upfront and I said ok, lets do it. UNTIL THEY SAID IT WILL COST $600, not $300 as it should be originally. DO NOT USE THEN, THERE IS PLENTY OF OTHER OPTIONS!!!!

AMS was sent out to look at a warranty issue on my truck. They were extremely friendly and fast. I ended up needing towed in for repair. There driver got me and my oversize load safely to there shop and gave me a ride looking for hotels and made sure I was well taken care of. First class folks top of the line equipment and unparalleled skill. Will definitely do business with them again.

Called them to come replace a hydraulic hose. After getting the hose off and the new one on, I asked the mechanic if he could also do our reverse back up alarm/lights switch located on the top of the transmission in an extremely difficult spot to get to. After some time fighting with it, he was able to get the old one out and install my new one. Jesus (our mechanic) is truly the son of God as I been trying to have places fix that for a year now and he was able to get it done. I would highly recommend these guys if ever in the area and will definitely use them again in my future visits through here.

Generally we have great experiences with towing services however this time was not one of them. One of our tractor and trailers broke down in middle of the night, we requested them through the Sherrif department. (Being in the same business we know of the price diffrences of police calls vs request calls.) The break down location was aprox 5 miles from their shop, and they towed us another 5 miles to get off the road. Initially they tried charging us 1500, but ended up settling for 1050. Initially wouldnt take a card and treated us like criminals. They are solely for the money, and not the community they live in.

Michael was the best! He turned a stressful situation into a fun experience. Great service, arrived in a timely manor, & had a really nice truck. Highly recommend this service company.

Jorge M. with AMS Towing did an exceptional job on loading one of our trucks on a Transcraft step deck trailer using a boom truck. Not a scratch or any damage at all to our 2015 389 extended hood Peterbilt. He was friendly and very respectful. I highly recommend using AMS Towing for your towing or loading a large car on a trailer.

We found ourselves stranded when our back tire blew out on our GMC 3500 near Ogden. We had few options since we were traveling from out-of-state and most towing companies don’t have the capability to tow a heavy-duty truck, but AMS came through. Michael saved the day—he was courteous, professional, and super friendly. Thanks to AMS, we were back on the road safely within a couple hours. I hope we never need to call them again, but if we do, I wouldn’t hesitate.

This was the first time needing a tow. Our tractor trailer broke down and we called AMS. We received a immediate dispatch and they were there within 40 min. Tow operator was professional, friendly and clearly knew what he was doing. I partly expected the driver to drag his feet and drag out the clock... but that wasnt the case he had the truck hooked and on the way in a timely and efficient manner and got the truck back to the yard. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the bill.. I was expecting a huge bill but it was way less than expected leaving room for a well deserved tip for the operator. Our car got stranded at the top of Powder Mountain on a very snowy weekend. Many other tow companies in the area refused to help, but Michael from AMS hopped right on it and was really helpful. He navigated the snowy mountain and parking lot with ease and even picked up my husband on his way up the mountain (because we had to leave the car the night before). Couldn’t recommend Michael and AMS highly enough!

Had a car with a couple of flats that needed to be towed. Called ahead to get a tow scheduled a day out. When the time came no one showed up. After waiting an hour I called and asked what was happening and was told I had not been scheduled! We had the next avaliable driver come out. I was feeling pretty frustrated but Mike Larson really turned things around. He was friendly, professional, and got out car loaded from a tricky spot in no time. He even hurried to move so a neighbor could get out of their driveway. He was met with several challenges he did not know about but took them in stride with a happy attitude. Car is now doing great and we have Mike to thank for making the towing so easy!

Was at a shipper that forgot to remove a glad hand lock so company called AMS and had to replace glad hand on my trailer and then have tire on truck repaired.Jesus is the mechanic that came out to truck and had an awesome attitude and great sense of humor while being professional in getting the job done. Needed a tow that could handle my truck and 5th wheel. Tino came and took excellent care of getting me to an RV Park and then my truck to the shop. Everyone at the RV Park including myself were impressed on how he managed to navigate in and around RV sites. I should also mention that he did it all without any damage to my vehicle or trailer. Jorge is a stellar toe operator. He came to pick up my RV the head of flat tire because I had no spare I asked him would it be possible for you to take me to a gas station because I have to idle a vehicle all night for warmth until I can get my tire repaired he said no problem he didnt complain about me taking pictures of the scenery as we were driving and he pointed out certain features of that area that I was in aware of. This young man deserves a raise he isnt very friendly very professional and courteous driver if I ever break down in that area again you guys will be the ones I call thank you very much for the awesome service and the great conversation with a hard-working good American man. Tried to get my semi towed and me being a owner op screwed us. We have no way to do efs checks and such. They don’t take debit card and they won’t take PayPal. Pretty sad to leave someone on the side of the road that’s willing to give them money for their services.

I dropped off a flatbed trailer for tail light repair and when I picked it up, Tino went above and beyond fixing the short on my vehicle electrical hookup and also checked the lugnuts and tire pressure before I left to ensure a safe trip. Go away from this company. We called for service because needed to jump truck. we paid 145$ for service call and $145 for one hour work. But our driver started truck him self. we called to cancel service. They were putting us on hold for long time. and when we told that we dont need a service they told that we need to pay for one hour work anyway.Be careful with this company and go away from their.

Our Penske truck wouldn’t start, but Jesus came out and knew exactly what to do. He was friendly and helpful and had the truck started in no time. He even went the extra mile and followed me while I dropped the truck off at a Penske location. Would definitely use AMS again!

Called for roadside service to replace the air hoses on the tractor. They charged me $900 to go 30 miles and replace hoses. Never use these people. They are thieves. No customer service, rude and unprofessional. Not only they steal your money the threaten you too. Usually a $300 repair or I had it replaced by Roadside before for $450 they charged $900

Amazing service from Michael. My car was stranded inside Hill Airforce Base, and Michael was willing and able to jump through the many hoops in order to retrieve my car. And in most of the process, he was directing me because he had the experience and know how in order to get on the Base as well. A 5 hours job took 3 days. They did a good job tho, but I was out a vehicle 3 days, not 1 as I was told when I dropped it off. Otherwise, Im happy.

I had an electrical diagnostic service, done on my vehicle. Shorts in the modern vehicle are always tough to solve, yet AMS got it done. It was the Bluetooth module that kept draining the battery down. Took a little bit of patients, yet I was impressed they found the problem. I was charged the amount agreed to, when leaving my vehicle with them and felt, I received great service with good value. There office staff was friendly and communicated with me. Finally, the mechanic also explained the repair to me. I look forward to using AMS as my go to, for auto maintenance in the future.

I happened to lock myself out of my car and needed to call somebody to help get my keys out. The customer service I received prior to the drive to arrive was amazing. Larsen showed up within the estimated time frame I was given and he helped me and my husband get the keys out. It was quick service. After the day I had locking my keys in my car was the last thing I wanted to happen, but the experience was awesome! I highly suggest calling AMS for any car troubles you may have!

Over price on a local haul $700.00 for a 40 minute tow is reduclious. Jorge the drive was awesome!!! Will use a different company next time should have been $350 to 450.

The kids they use for labor are hard working, and kudos to them, but prospective customers should be aware that AMS charges the customer $50 per hour per child. They re-stacked ten pallets; attached is a picture of their two thousand dollar job leaning over to the side after a gentle, forty mile late night drive.One extra star because the kids in the trailer were hard workers, and the employee guiding them was never less than pleasant to deal with. But color me less than impressed with the end result considering the cost.

We are an Over The Road refrigerated carrier who uses call-out repair services all over the country. It is unfortunate that many repair operations are usually expensive to the point of ridiculous for after hours road calls. We used AMS to replace an alternator on a refer unit at midnight & were surprised to find a carrier friendly operation that does charge a fair rate and does make good on any charging issues or questions after the repair. The office manager Autumn went to great lengths to insure that we were charged correctly and even called to say she was sending us a refund for a rate misunderstanding. THAT DOES NOT HAPPEN ! Sure is refreshing to discover this carrier friendly repair shop with after hours service in Ogden,UT.. Nice Job AMS ! And special thanks Autumn ---

Mr. Larson with AMS towing came and picked me up after my van gave up on life in the middle of an intersection. He was speedy, efficient, knew exactly where I was when I told him. The inside of his truck looked spotless, smelled clean, and I felt very comfortable with him. Very different than what Im used to when Ive been towed from different companies in the past. The price was very affordable, even with the long distance that he had to take me. He treated my van very well. Ive saved their number in my phone in case I need them again in the future.

I had a situation with a load shifting on me. Gave them a call. They took care of my problem and got me back on the road. They were very reasonable with the price. Monica and Tino were so easy to relate and talk with and they made me feel like family. Id recommend them to everyone.

Best emergency/tow service I’ve ever experienced! Very attentive and hospitable during our stay while awaiting parts for repair.

They were up front about mobile prices vs repairs in the shop and did everything they could for the most cost effective repair. We were stuck in a KOA with a blown spindle and bearings. Dave went above and beyond and replaced the axle, breaks and everything mobile and got us moving again. Great job, upfront and honest about cost, and did everything to save us cost and get us back on the road again.

These guys are very polite people they get in do the job and get out on a very timely fashion very nice and friendly folks. And the turn around time was out standing only if more mechanic shops would follow what ever it is they do the trucking industry would be so much better. Even the owner stood around talking to me. To me that says a lot about a company when you’re that laid back. Over all I give a 5 out of 5 and very happy. Thanks AMS.
