Oil change and transmission service. Since I cant see nor experience the result of their work because its simply a fluid change, I can only comment that they are nice people and and friendly. Of the repairs theyve done on my Suburban in the past, they did a great job and provided excellent service and support.
They did the 5 k mile servicing if my toyota and installed my snow tires, and showed me a video of the brake pad measurements and service checks they made. It was just the kind of care I expected from this dealership - they are great!! I would definitely recommend them!
Took my car in after an accident with a deer caused damage to my hood, front bumper, roof and parts of my rear bumper as the deer rolled across my car. The hood and front bumper needed replacement.Firstly, I understand there is a global supply line issue and getting parts may have taken extra time. I was told initially that it would take two weeks - and that would have been totally fine in my eyes all things considered - but then the goal post was moved twice on me when I called for updates on when the repair would be finished. Each time it was extended by a week. That eventually kept me from going on a much-needed vacation I had planned months before. Had I known it was going to take a month I could have planned accordingly and maybe could have salvaged my vacation. When they finally told me it was time, I went and inspected the car only to find that there were nibs in the paint just about everywhere that had to be replaced/repainted. Even the sections that didnt have nibs showed the classic swirl marks in the paint that mark an incomplete paint job. If they had QAd the car before they called me, they would have known it wasnt ready.I refused to take the car home that day and was told by the production manager they would get it fixed up but it would take another couple of days...I come back two days later and things *seem* better under the shaded area it was parking, but when I get it home and wash it off, there are clearly still nibs (albeit fewer) and the swirl marks were still present, just slightly different looking. To top it off, my radar assisted cruise control has been acting very strangely since I got it back. All in all, multiple issues with communication, the quality was awful the 1st, 2nd, or 3rd time and once they finally make good on their end of the deal and fix my paint job correctly I hope to do no further business here.
Everyone was very nice and professional. They examined the damages and gave me a quote for repairs. They also worked well with my insurance to give me the best quote. Repairs look great. Very pleased with the service.
Great service. Dustin went the extra mile to complete an additional repair for us. All the staff were very professional and courteous. Top quality repairs were made on our car within the time expected. We would recommend this shop to anyone.
Very helpful in updating me regarding the status of the maintenance on my vehicle. Thorough multi-point inspection and helpful video of what the technician found. But Id rather not have to repeat the survey and responses multiple times.
No complaints about the service provided. It was done in a timely fashion. Cabin filter was about average for cost to change.
I have used Ken Garff Riverdale for the past 5 years and keeping up with maintenance I trust the mechanics and the supervisors give me advice on upcoming service This is my first diesel truck I want to keep it in running condition as best as possible The appointments have been timely in getting back on the road Thx Guys I recommend servicing at Ken Garff Riverdale
Did not fix issue and hoping another visit with the Master Tech this go round will help observe and resolve issue. Thx
Very professional service department. I will continue to service my Buick lacrosse @ Ken Garff in Riverdale Utah
Great experience! Good people. Cheers!
Un-professional, incompetent and very, very rude. After 900+ miles of road tests with the driving instructions identified by the service rep. One tech told me to shut up and listen while he air drew his explanation of how a computer works. This was the fifth time/different tech/same explanation. The Supervisor told me they could not fix my emissions. He said to go ask Weber County Health, its their program. It took Weber County Health almost 2 seconds after he lifted the hood to identify the problem. They should have discovered the evaporative purge hose on the intake was pinched shut during operation. Also, The Permitted testing station in Weber County should be performing an official emission test when requested and not using a scan tool to pretest the vehicle. Weber County Health sent copies of the GM repair check list and told the shop what was wrong and told me to take it back to Buick. Buick called and said I needed to drive more miles. I asked if they could drive because my wife was really sick as a result of the previous 900 + miles. I was able to retrieve my Buick and took it to LHM for repair and plates.
Ken Garff was AMAZING, got my vehicle in sooner then expected & kept me updated every step of the way to make sure I knew how long it would take. I will definitely be sending them more business from our office!
My vehicle suddenly died twice. I have driven it for over a decade since purchasing from Ken Garff, so it is older. I normally have had an okay experience with the service center, though they are a little unprofessional and rude when checking in. They had to keep my vehicle for three days this time, did not have a car available (something I was told was a service upon purchasing the vehicle), but at least shuttled me home. Every time I take it to this dealer service center, it suddenly has a cracked motor mount- never mentioned at any other mechanic. They charged WAY more than another mechanic would, but at least got it running again. Overall, I have only purchased cars from Ken Garff. I would buy a car again from Ken Garff, but I dont think I will use the service center.
Friendly helpful employees and the repairs were done to great satisfaction.
I have had every oil change and service done on my 2012 Pilot without problems. I took my vehicle in for a break replacement and was driving to the airport the next morning and I had grinding and screeching that got worse as we went. I ended up having to have someone pick my vehicle up from the airport and take it back to Ken Garff. Turns out there were missing bolts on my drivers side front break and it was essentially hanging there. So disappointing. I expected a call from them with an apology, didnt get as much as a text or email.
Truck had to be towed to facility because repairs could not be made a week earlier due to lack of parts needed. Its been three weeks total now since repairs have been needed and still waiting for parts with no idea when they will be in and I have no truck.
The service department changed the engine oil on a vehicle I purchased from Ken Garff Riverdale. Based on the reading on the dipstick the engine was over filled over 1/2 a quart. I had to change the oil myself to make sure the engine had the correct volume of oil. I measured what I removed and it was 0.6 quarts over filled. I have 3 more oil changes and tire rotations left. I will probably pass on having them change my oil in the future and just have them do the tire rotations. On the plus side the drain plug and oil filter were not over tightened.
The experience I have had the last year with my truck has been an absolute joke. I don’t plan on servicing with Ken Garff GMC. Not to mention they know me pretty well by now it’s sad to say. The last few times it’s been in the shop I never received a phone call and had to call them myself to see what was going on with my truck for the 8th time in a year for the same thing the rear differential. I was told my staff that every time I have brought my truck in it has gotten worse then the first time.
Ive been buying vehicles here for years and, with very few minor issues, continue to do so, due to the awesome folks that are employed here!!
After hitting a patch of ice and sliding into a curb the results were a damaged wheel, struts and other things. Ken Garff in Ogden made the repairs and were great about keeping me informed as to the status of the work. I hopefully wont need another body and mechanical repair but if I did I would go there again.
Beautiful work and Brianna was awesome to work with she Kept me update about the progress of my vehicle. Awesome attitude. Definitely will refer business your way.
Work not done. Still waiting for catalytic converter to be received. Been in the shop almost 3 weeks now.
The customer service was great but took too long to diagnose it. It was there for two days to have the oil change and find the problem I told them it was having.
Great professional service. Quick and on time. I highly recommend Ken Garff GMC service center.
A contract we agreed on to provide three oil changes at the time of me buying a used car.I received one oil change. Then I took the car in to be serviced for the second change and was told that the contract had expired after only one year. I thought that was unethical.I wont be back.
I had the screen over the radio replaced as it had failed. The tch did a great job and returned my pickup in great condition.
Crystal was great communicator and helped with scheduling.
Very professional and courteous. Would recommend Zach highly.
Super disappointed. Had to get the same part of my Tahoe fixed for the 3rd time. I asked them to check for the deeper issue, which they found but wouldnt cover in repair, or even reduce in charge - considering what Id already paid in the temporary repairs. I spoke with both the staff members as well as the manager there, but never felt heard. I expected better of Ken Garff.
Very happy with service, only one thing I was unhappy about is I had asked for an oil change and that was not done. But wasnt charged for it so will take it somewhere else.
Helpful and great to work with.
Great service as always!
Service was fast and professional!
It was done in time and very professional
Excellent service
