I have come here for as long as I’ve lived in South Ogden (4 years now). I’ve never had a bad experience. The employees are very personable, extremely helpful, and more professional than I’ve come to expect based on my past experience with quick service places. They explain everything to you, and make sure you’re aware of what’s going on and understand costs before they perform services. I’ve been to some absolutely terrible places for oil changes and service, and this is certainly not one of them.

This place was so wonderful and very quick! They were honest which I loved!! I went to get my brakes done because they were squeaking, but they said they looked like they were in good condition so instead they cleaned them for me. When they were putting my tire back on they noticed a bolt that was on the verge of falling out saving me from my tire almost falling out. This place was so quick and attentive and best of all incredibley kind and great conversationalist. My oil change and registration/emissions went super quick after that! Thanks for making me feel so welcome Josue, Jayden, Justin, Thomas, and Hunter!!

This review is a long time coming. Earlier this year (2021), I had an oil change, cabin filter change, and transmission flush. I brought in my own new cabin filter and they installed it for free. I asked if they still did windshield treatments and they told me they didnt but that I could go get some rain-X and theyd apply it for free.They came out with the recommended services printout which includes the typical air filter etc. I asked him if the air filter *really* needed to be changed and he said it could wait. He did stress a recommended transmission flush though as the fluid was black. (That info coincided with some transmission abnormalities Id noticed while driving, and it completely resolved those issues.)They asked what type of oil, if I wanted high mileage. I said no, I drive very low miles each year. He then explained that high miles actually refers to how many miles are on your vehicle, not how many you drive. No one had ever explained that before. My car has over 150,000 so I opted for that upgrade and will from here on out.The two technicians who helped me are named Brandon and Thomas. I wrote down their names so I could write a review bc they were exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and really have customer service down. Im so thankful for them both and will continue going to that jiffy lube!

Best emissions test ever. 100% would get emissions done here again.

Normally when you pull up to the bay designated for the service you need someone comes to find out what you need worked on. I waited in my car in the waiting line for about 10 minutes and no one approached me. I finally got out of my car and walked inside to the service desk but no one was there to help me either. After 5 minutes of waiting I decided to take my business elsewhere. I walked out and got in my car and started to drive away. Someone finally rushed over to ask if I needed anything.They were able to fix my issue for me at a price I thought was fair once I finally managed to get service.

Oil change was fine. Technician broke dipstick off into tube. He was apologetic and I dont blame him. However, I still have to buy a new dipstick and try to get the old dipstick out of the tube. It would have been a good business gesture to offer a discount on a future oil change or even a free oil change or take off money off my oil change. As is, probably will not be returning.

$100 for an oil change is a lot of money. I was pretty shocked by the bill.The bill says they filled my tires and fluids, but I was standing their watching and they only checked them. Seems like a scam, I just wanted an oil change.

I’ve previously had poor experience with other jiffy lubes but these guys rock, and get got it done about 15 minutes. I couldn’t have been happier with my experience, thanks!

The guys were super friendly and helpful. I have used them for my oil changes many times before. They are the best! I tried to do it myself this time and couldn’t remove a bolt, so I brought my oil and filter there. They did it for no cost! Definitely recommend?

They changed my oil but did not clean up the oil on my undercarriage that leaked out of the drain plug that did not go into the bucket. I got home and the oil dripped on my driveway covering a 2’ square. Very sloppy work.

Went to get an oil change and no one was in the oil bay and no one came out so after 5 minutes I went to take 5 just down the road and wow what a great job thoes guys do if you havent been there check it out its just 1 block away

The initial guy I think Christan B was just rude and had a frown on his face the whole time. Not very pleasant or patient with me trying to find the hood button. Heard him complaining about his job with another employee and being tired while working under a truck right next to me. Then the cashier Thomas H. came over and was very helpful and patient with me. He helped me with getting checked out, using a coupon, being patient when I didn’t know the pin, printing a receipt, and entering my moms car info into the system. You Need more workers like him. Giving 3 stars for Thomas H.

I took my car to Jiffy Lube for inspection and registration. Not a demanding job. I could have taken it anywhere. But the manager and employees of this Jiffy Lube are such gentlemen and treat me with such respect and care that it is worth driving across town for the service. I will definitely come back here for further assistance.

Horrible experience. I left with more brake problems than I pulled in with....driving off was very dangerous, car almost flipped off the road. Had to go to another locations to fix first locations mistake. No one would take responsibility.. They tried billing me an extra $500 for their mistake.. I was gauarenteed I would pay nothing for the second fix and then asked for $500. I was told Im not losing my job over $500. Tech handed me keys saying the car was pulling a bit to the right and its OK to drive off, then a mile down the road car is swerving right and left because he pinched the calipers on the brakes. Then tons of avoiding responsibility by original location, outsourced warranty company, and franchisee.

They were prompt and follow safety measures in the wake of COVID-19. I like being able to stay in my car versus going into the waiting room and I hope that they continue this practice as we begin to loosen up the requirements of the pandemic. The men were really nice and personable as well I let them know that I was in a rush and they were accommodating.

Mr. Burbank and Mr. Haas are the reason i go there. They know their job and do it well. Kind, courteous, and professional! Give em a raise, they deserve it!

Said they checked all fluids but i already ran out of washer fluid in less than 24 hours. I doubt they checked it and refilled it

I noticed my car was wobbling down the road going over 40 miles an hour. I called these guys and they got me in immediately. They were able to quickly figure out that the tires were out of balance, and they were able to complete that in about 30 minutes. They charged me 30 bucks, and now I’m back safe on the road. Super fast and easy service. Thanks so much!

Came in for emissions also had a break light out the gentleman that helped me went above and beyond. I will only go to this Jiffy lube .

This is the second time I have had this type of experience at this location. Today I walked into the lobby as I needed my emissions inspection done. No one was in the lobby but I could see through the window 4 individuals in the shop. 3 of the 4 were just standing or sitting while 1 was casually working on 1 car. I stood at the counter in plain sight, and I know there was an alert that someone was in the lobby when I first entered the doors. None of the 4 individuals came and asked what I needed help with. After 5 full minutes I opened the door to the shop and asked if I was in the right place. One of the individuals came over and informed me that all the emissions inspections were down in Weber county. I told him I wish I hadn’t wasted my time waiting for that information.

I had my emissions tested to renew my plates at this location. Everyone was very nice and personable! They were quick to finish and did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. I’ll definitely be returning to this location in the future.

The people working here were friendly and kind. My brakes were bad, but I didnt know there was a problem before I got there. They showed me what was wrong and explained in a polite and professional way then gave me some time to make a few calls to decide what I should do. I appreciate their hard work. I did decide to get the brakes installed and they gave me a great deal. Customer service was excellent!!

Did a fast job however they overfilled my oil and I had to pump out about a quart of oil the next day.

These guys are awesome. They were so nice when my car broke down on Halloween and they told me I could save money and fix it myself but I could bring it back if I was still having issues. When I brought it back they instantly helped me, made sure I understood what they needed to fix and even showed me the broken part. They answered all my questions and were very nice the whole process and wasted no time to get started on my car. I will always take my car to this location!

I took my car in for an emissions test (which I found out later was not required) They charged me for it (I should have known! they offered me a cash discount, which I took.) So I now know the price of their integrity and its $25. I would have marked the box thief above but it wasnt an option. I have taken cars there for over 15 years but wont ever again.

Update*** Manager has contacted and resolved the issue. He issued a refund and provided some relief. I am leaving this review at 3 stars for the quality of service, it was originally at 1 star. Thank you.

I went in to this Jiffy Lube to get my emissions and registration done. After working with my truck, I was told by the tech that my “rear brakes were shot” and that they were “dangerously low” and that if I were “doing a safety test today the truck wouldn’t pass”. He asked me if i wanted my brakes replaced and that it would only take 30 min. I declined the service and went back home to inspect the brakes myself. My rear brakes were in great condition and had roughly 70% of their life left. The picture below shows the old pad on the left and a new pad on the right. I would not take my vehicle to this location. I feel that they tried to up-sell me on a product that was not needed.

Great Service. Turned away from Riverdale Jiffy Lube. Went to 5700 South Harrison.If it was me, I would remove the entire staff in Riverdale. One car in the bay, 4 guys standing around talking.Or move some of the staff from Harrisin Store and move them to Riverdale!

I only got my emissions done here, but I loved the customer service and the attitude of the guys working! They were extremely friendly, and usually mechanics tell you all of the things wrong with your car and insist that you get it done. These guys merely suggested and left it up to you as a customer. I’ll always be going here.

I went in for my vehicle inspection andI was in and out in no time! Everyone there was courteous and kind. I would highly recommend them and will be back.

I spent two hours last Thursday and they ordered the incorrect brakes for my car.Then I spent 2 hours at the south ogden jiffy lube because the 12st one sent me there.They put the brakes on the wrong tires and had to start over.Disorganized.

They are very pleasant and funny. I got in and out very quickly for doing my emissions and registration of a Saturday . We laughed that all our mom’s taught us how to drive a stick shift. Good experience.

I had an issue arise after visiting a satellite j lube station. I reached out and the district manager Brice personally called me to discuss the issue. Brice went above and beyond to resolve my issue and personally oversaw the correction. I will certainly continue to do business with Jiffy lube thanks to his unquestioning determination to make sure I was treated right and fully satisfied with the services recieved.

Nice enough guys. However, the knocked off my air box from the connector to the intake so by the time I got home my truck wouldn’t accelerate. Something like that shouldn’t be missed.

This location helped me straighten out a problem another location had created. They did so quickly and with great customer service. I was out of town and in Ogden UT. I had gone to 2 other locations that wanted to charge me over 300 for a problem that another Jiffy lube had created. This location went above and beyond to insure I would have a safe trip home without causing my truck any more issues.

Came in an before an hour before closing to do a mount and balance on a tire (not put it on the vehicle) I already had purchased elsewhere. They quoted us a price and then said it was too late today they couldn’t mount and balance it (they did have a few cars there and idk what all needed to be done but this procedure takes 10-15 min if you’re an amateur and 4 min for my husband to do when he worked in a shop when he was younger).They didn’t offer coming tomorrow even just refused service. I had to use the vehicle the tire went the next day for work and so I came in the morning as they were the closer to my house, and waited until they opened. I was the first customer and no other customer there. The guy came out took the rim and tire and said it would take 30-40 min to finish. Then when I told him the price I was quoted he said he didn’t know how much it was and when I asked don’t you want my name and he said no we don’t need it. So 30 min later my daughter went back to grab it, it was ready and they tried to quote her a higher price but did honor the one we received the night before.Bottom line customer service wasn’t great and it seemed like they just didn’t feel like doing it. Had my husband been able to come and handle this my daughter and I wouldn’t have been sent away the day before and treated that way and given different prices.

Super fast and very friendly! I had a very positive experience with these guys! I had a few questions about an oil leak, and they were happy to give me honest and helpful answers.

They were fast to get me in and out to change my oil and flush my steering fluid. I would go back.

Service was fine but most of the staff weren’t wearing masks. I really don’t mind if you are outside working on my car but the guy who moved my car when it was done didn’t have a mask on and all the windows were rolled up. Would be nice if everyone was taking this more seriously. I put off getting service on my vehicle for a while for that very reason.

I usually change my own oil for ~$30. I was In a hurry and decided I’d try out jiffy lube. It was a very fast and friendly service. It only took them out 12-15 minutes. I asked for an oil change and to have my tire pressure checked. They offered to top off my coolest for 8$ and I agreed. In the end it was 97$!! So apparently they charge 89$ for an oil change and Tire pressure check. I feel I was price gouged and would not recommend. Nor will I be returning to jiffy lube in the future.

Everyone was awesome to work with. I enjoyed talking with the employees. However, ever since my car was done, I’ve had multiple warning lights that won’t go away. I turned around as soon as I saw them, but they were closing for the night and couldn’t help me.My car is an Audi and taking it to the dealership even for something simple is so expensive.Great employees, great prices, sad my car is broken though!!

I will not use Jiffy Lube again.I had two different oil / ?? Leaks under my car the morning after I had my signature service Was performed at Jiffy Lube. I also went to use my windshield washer fluid and it wouldn’t work because it was frozen.I took my car to a Jiffy lube at another location and showed them photos leaks on floor of my garage. They couldn’t explain the leaks but replaced washer fluid which contained glycol so mine didn’t freeze and crack fluid container. Very dissatisfied and no confidence in service performed.

DONT GO THERE. First off they forget to get my keys from me, the forget to ask for my phone number and they don’t tell me when it’s going to be ready. Then they charge 100 usd for an oil change, forget to check the brakes as they promised. They told me to come back in 4000 miles while the print out says 7500 miles, and they didn’t even put the sticker in my car. DONT GO THERE

They were open for an oil change. It went smooth and in very short time! It was extremely convenient that the kids and I got to stay in the car while they did the oil change, because trying to keep 4 kids, under the age of 8, occupied in the shop can usually be pretty tough! Im sure Im not the only mom who thinks that! 😄

They didnt ask what type of oil I wanted to use, just looked at my history...so I was stuck paying for a more expensive oil change....during my service I overheard the workers talking about learning their trades on youtube, didnt make me feel very confident in their experience. I also heard them complain about having difficult time finding my filter and then proceed to complain about my make of vehicle. They put the wrong mileage down and so my sticker is now saying I can drive 10k mikes before the next change. They didnt know their card system enough to know how to run my Car Care Card. Besides that, they were friendly and wore their masks and had me in and out in no time. I chose them because of how quick they are, available on a saturday and no appt necessary.

Paid $128 for an oil change which I understood because its a diesel. I reset the oil service interval light myself but there was a service due indicator that would not go away.I went to this location twice and to the 12th Street location once on their advice and they still could not reset. I was told it was my problem. I ended up taking it to a mechanic who reset it in 5 minutes and told me there were no fault codes. I spent about 2 hours of my own time just trying to get the service due indicator light to go out that should have been part of the service that I paid them for. They told me the day before that they would call me back with the solution but I had to call them back at the end of the day to see what they figured out. On a side note, they also overfilled my oil and I had to have some drained out since it could damage the engine and catalytic converter.Follow up-I called customer service at jiffy lube and they asked for my phone number which I provided so the general manager could call me back. 8 hours later I still have not heard from him. It is unacceptable to perform substandard work at a premium price, and then not care about your customers concerns by at least calling them when you request their phone number.

Excellent experience with timing of a emissions and the cost is reasonable.

I do home care and was on my way to a client when my car started acting up pulled into the Jiffy lube they did a diagnostic and figured out it was just my spark plugs. The employees were very friendly, knoligable and were really good at explaining my options even gave me a discount cause of my occupation. Would definitely go back

Wow! Took me less than 10 minutes for an oil change. Recommended some things my car needs but didnt pressure me to get it done with them. Super impressed with the service I had today.

I was driving thru and had to emergency stop here, and they were pretty cool and honest. Would have been back on the road that day but everyone in Utah I guess decides to do last minute commission tests on the car since it was the deadline, and they were short handed but they worked on my car everything they had the chance.. they got my car finished the next day and gotta admit my car is running alot smoother considering the fact I could lost my tire dwn the road for all I know, in the mountains.... good thing I stopped thanks guys, tbh they need some kind of reward words arent enough since I was driving from Washington to Oregon

Jose is a very professional technician. I had to do a third retest and he insisted that its free. They identified my exhaust leak and I was able to repair it myself saving on costs. This is the best jiffy lube in utah.
