Since buying my Civic from them last year, they continue to impress me with each new visit. The staff are always happy to help and very thorough. I wouldnt take my Honda to get serviced anywhere else.

I was so pleased with my experience and I really liked each person I have worked with whether it was my sales rep, my service rep, financial rep, or just a worker in passing. There is such a fun energy at this Honda and I’m so glad I purchased through them. Also my car is just as expected - PERFECT!

I was in there for one of my free oil changes after purchasing my car from them and they asked if I wanted my air filters changed. I usually do this myself but was being lazy and in the past was only charged about $20 for the filter and installation from another dealer so I said go ahead. When I went to pay I about died. They charged me $50 for the filters and $150 to install them. Learned my lesson not to be lazy and do it myself and also how big of a rip off Ken Garff Hondas service department is. I just bought both filters for $20 and it took me less than 5 minutes to change both of them. If anyone needs this done buy the filters and Ill do it for $10. Ill never go there again. If they are ripping someone off that bad for just changing filters imagine what they are doing to people who need a bigger job done. Avoid Them at all cost.
We had some issues with the car starting and took it in to Ken Garff Honda Riverdale. They found out it was the battery and not the start switch. Because the issue was so simple, they didnt charge us for the diagnostic testing. Jacob was so communicative with us for the whole process, as well as making sure we got a new battery before leaving for the day. We have also worked with Jacob for multiple oil changes and working with him has been great. Very timely, easy to communicate with about vehicles, thorough, and takes time to explain your options if needed.
Your ken Garff auto body shop purchased a tire to put on my vehicle. Ken Garff Honda as well as the body shop didnt even bother to check my drivers data tag on my door jam to ensure it was the correct tire for my car or even look at the 4 tires on my car. And of course it was not the correct tire so Ive been driving around for almost 2 weeks now with my Nissan car pulling to the right (because its a soft wall tire compared to my hard wall high performance tires) because no one knows how to order tires 🙄
Didnt enjoy paying MSRP (but its all about supply and demand). Beyond paying top dollar for a vehicle, the dealership was great to work with. Sales associate Michael Goodrich was awesome. He was honest, not pushy, and a great communicator throughout the entire buying process.
Took my car in to be serviced. Had an appointment. Was told that didnt necessarily mean they would get to diagnosing it immediately much mess fix the actual problem. I was then told they have a shuttle but that it didnt go all the way to Morgan which is only 15-20 minutes from the dealership. Huh? Long story short I told them I would just go elsewhere for my repairs and that I couldnt wait all day. To their credit they called a Lyft and paid for me to get home. I was very impressed with the repair. They found what ended up being a simple, easy, and very inexpensive repair. Overall not a terribly pleasant experience but at the end of the day they ended up doing their best to satisfy me as their customer and I respect that. Thus the 5 stars.

When I first got there, all the people at their desks were eating lunch and seemed bothered to be interrupted. When they asked do you have an appointment it sounded rude. I gave them my car and went for a walk. While walking, I decided it was rude of these mens boss to require them to eat at their desks. They should be allowed to eat in a break room uninterrupted. I think a policy should be made to ask what time is your appointment? Instead of do you have an appointment?. The rest of my appointment was wonderful. The service I received was excellent.

I took my Honda in to replace some damaged parts. I had an appointment, and the service department was extremely busy. Because of that, I did not receive the exceptional service I am used to getting there, which is why I still drive from South Salt Lake to Riverdale since my move from Davis County. Dino was the employee helping me, and he recognized and accepted responsibility for the situation and went above and beyond to make it up to me. I will continue to be a loyal customer, because they have the best employees.
We bought a Honda Accord brand new from this dealer also having all services done at the dealership. Besides issues with the wheels (chrome Honda Wheels) slowly leaking air we have always had pleasant experiences here. That is until recently. My son was driving the car only a few houses down from our house when the drivers side seat and curtain airbags went off for no reason. This scared my son causing him to run into a curb damaging both passenger side wheels and tires. The car only has 97,000 miles. We brought the car to the dealer and were initially told they dont know why the airbags went off saying 7 people had looked at the car but estimated $11k-$12k in repairs. I also opened a claim with Honda America. Going back and forth with Riverdale Honda and Honda America I decided to start a insurance claim. The car was at the dealer for about 3 weeks before I decided to just bring it home. Prior to this i asked my sevice writer to contact my insurance company so they could do a virtual appraisal on my vehicle providing him with the email on how to do the virtual. This never happened. The day I picked it up i was told the manager and regional manager were there looking at the car a couple hours earlier. I asked what they found and nothing was relayed what they discovered. I asked my service writer if he contacted my insurance which he said he didnt. I then emailed him after I picked up the car asking for the repair estimate which I never received. I then called Honda America who said they closed my case saying the airbag deployment was caused by the impact on the passenger side. They couldnt give me a reason if the impact was on the passenger side why the drivers side airbags went off only saying its because of the sensors. I then said why didnt the passenger side go off as there was a passenger in the car when it happened with no answer. Today I finally got word my insurance is totally the car. We will never purchase another vehicle from Ken Garff.
It should only take 1 hour for an oil change especially when you have an appointment…After a hour and fifteen they STILL hadn’t touched my truck! I wasn’t very happy and had to go back to work without the service completed. The Service department at Ken Garff Riverdale used to be above the industry average… Over the past 3 years or so customer service has declined to a point well below industry average. Not cool Ken Garff Riverdale Service Department! Get it together!
We had a great time working with Cyndi! She was fantastic and we loved getting to spend time with her! She was so personable, listened to what we wanted, and when it came time to choose the car - it was an easy pick! This review reflects my experience at Ken Garff Honda Riverdale and not any other Ken Garff dealership. I have not had an issue with any other Ken Garff dealership.I went in to Ken Garff Honda Riverdale with the intent to purchase a vehicle. Immediately, the salesperson I was “assigned to,” Jordan Halley, treated me like my presence was of the utmost inconvenience.Meanwhile, my five year old and three year old were running around. Daniel King, another salesperson, spent the next half of an hour entertaining my kids. He was patient and very kind. When we left the dealership, my kids asked about their new friend, Dan.Back to Jordan and the rest of my experience. I located the vehicle I wanted and it had 81 miles on it and was FILTHY! Jordan allowed us to test drive the vehicle by ourselves because he wanted to take another customer who was looking to buy.We left the dealership.Coming back the next day, we worked with Dan and Marna, as Jordan had the day off. They both were amazing! They were very accommodating and patient. They even accommodated me having to leave to go to work. They met me at my work for me to sign papers.About six days later, I was contacted by Jordan who stated I need to come in and re-sign papers because Honda came back with different financing than we originally signed for. Jordan stated if I don’t come re-sign, I have to return the car. After some back and forth, the dealership ate the difference and we re-signed for the car.Jordan pulled me aside after signing new papers and stated that if had been there the day we purchased, nothing would have been messed up. Jordan stated Dan was the one who messed up. There was no real apology by Jordan. If Jordan and the financing issue had been eliminated from this deal, this could have been a five star ordeal.
Braydon and Brian were fantastic to deal with. Braydon had all the patience in the world with us as we drove several different vehicles while trying to decide what was best for us. He knew we weren’t positive about purchasing that day, but he stayed attentive and answered all our questions and gave us details about each car we drove. He was even happy to let us drive the 2021 Passport as we were getting ready to leave, and he actually warned me that I was going to love the car especially for what we were looking for. He was right and a week later, we traded in our truck and brought home the Passport.

This particular visit was successful for me. Since I was not at Ken Garff when the service tech looked at my car, I liked the fact that he had a camera and showed me everything that needed to be repaired and explained it as he went along. Also, Dino from service is who corresponded with me while my car was there for a few days. He kept me up to date via text and responded to me when I had questions, which I greatly appreciated.
Signed up for their oil change special earlier this year. They squeezed me in for service same day as a new customer but when I got there I saw they were packed. They used it as an opportunity to give me a long list of things I needed to fix on my car. I took the car into my local, well-trusted garage, and they said they couldn’t find any of the leaks or other problems I supposedly had and said breaks were good for another 3 months easily.I don’t do business with dishonest car dealers/garages. I also don’t appreciate that when I tried calling to ask what brand of oil they used so I could tip off I was sent to the garage which ended up just having the machine hang up on me. They were welcoming before I paid for my service, but as soon as I had paid for 3 changes worth of service I was a second rate customer and they couldn’t get me in for an appointment for 10 days or be bothered to answer questions over the phone. I took my business a elsewhere and voided my contract with them. The lost money is worth having good, fast service and honesty in my business dealings.

Hope you dont need to get any service done soon. I had a flat tire and needed a new tire. The soonest I could get in was a week later. I needed some warranty work done and that was over three weeks out for an appointment. When I showed up for my appointment there was a long line to check in. I thought by having an appointment I would be able to get checked in quicker. Although I cant prove it Im pretty certain my wheel got scratched while the tire was being changed. From the warranty work the interior panels didnt get put back correctly so I did it myself because that was easier than taking it back in and having them do it.
I went to the parts department twice. Which was nothing but the best experience at a dealership. They prices were unmatched. I will come back again just for parts all the time now.
I took my HRV in to diagnose some lights that had come on. I didnt have an appointment, but they fit me in, and they took care of me within an hour. Ive had two service appointments and the service is quick, efficient, and competent.

I took my car in for service and was told it would be an hour or so, so decided to go shopping while I waited. I no sooner had got where I was going and received a text stating my car was done already. With other dealers in the past I just gave up having to leave my car all day just for an oil change.This is a refreshing change in service that I thoroughly am elated over. I went in for routine maintenance. Everything was done well except my tire pressure was set too low.There is a problem with the Honda Civic 2018 tire pressure sensors which cause an error message even though they are set to the factory recommended 33 psi. They have told me in the past to set them at 37 psi in summer. I told the service advisor to set them to 37psi and typed it up. When I picked up the car I asked if the tires were set to 37 psi. He said yes, they were. I left on a trip the next day and the warning lights came on. I measured the tire pressure and they were all set to 33 psi. So they didnt follow instructions and the service advisor did not tell me the truth when I picked it up. Next time Ill measure them before I drive off. Not good service.

I did not expect this from a company thats holds itself as one of the best in the area! I went in for a full inspection and they told me there were a few issues with my car. After speaking with my brother (who knows a lot about cars) I politely declined any services above the oil change because their prices were much higher than the national average, by a significant amount on each item/ task. When I got in my car, my dashboard was making an INSANELY LOUD NOISE! Like an unnerving screeching noise I had never heard before. See the video attached! I took the car to another mechanic because I was extremely disappointed in their demeanor when I called to inform them of the issue. A second mechanic told me they had left a piece of paper/ object in my A/C. Never going back! Plenty of other good mechanics for more affordable price in the area who dont play such petty games!
I was not overalls excited with my experience but I also was dissatisfied. The salesperson that helped us (Chad) was without a doubt, hands down, the best. He helped us find the right vehicle and was super professional. However, I wasn’t happy with management in there negotiating skills. I was promised a higher pay on my trade in that got marked down and final price, they weren’t willing to budge at all on price of the car at all. I would recommend Chad the salesperson to anyone and everyone, not sure I could say the same for the dealership.

I like that they have contracted with Lyft drivers to assist with their own shuttle services. It makes for a quicker ride back to where I needed to be while repairs were going on. They were faster than they originally thought, which is really good, but I didnt check my phone often enough and it cost me time. My bad. They did really good with video uploads about whats wrong with the car and proposed fixes. I just need to check my phone more often and not rely on their first estimated time it takes.
The dealership employees are professional and courteous. All communication with the service department was clear and easy to understand.
Our experience purchasing a 2021 Honda Civic was surprisingly pleasant and easy. We did our homework ahead of time and had a good idea about what we wanted and how much we wanted to pay. We got exactly what we wanted. We were in and out, deal done, in about an hour and left feeling good about our purchase. We even used the Honda financing as it was better than our bank. Marna Sakios was friendly and low pressure. She was also patient and knowledgeable with all of our questions, even when I came back a week later with more questions. Shout out to the sales guy who’s desk is near Marna’s. I think his name was Mario. He told us how to get to the Toyota place because we wanted to compare the Honda vs Toyota.....no comparison, Honda is better 😊

Had been looking for an accord with at least 6 different dealerships. Working in finance myself, I wanted to find somewhere that wouldnt try to get sneaky and where I would still be treated as a valued customer. Jeremy at Ken Garff Riverdale was the only one that did! He was upfront, honest, quick to reply and definitely a hardworking guy. I can only assume that the managers there also had a direct effect on the whole experience. Because of how we were treated, not only did I drive away in a brand new accord, but he also earned customers for life. Ill be doing all of my maintenance here and will be sure to refer everyone I know that needs a Honda.
Ken Garff has been servicing our CRV since we got it. They have always been fair with prices and honest. If there are any concerns while working on the vehicle they keep us in the loop. They offer free shuttle service for those vehicles that take longer to service. Would recommend for sure.

Our Vehicle has been in the autobody shop since Aug 9 and supposed to be done Sept 10. Well that changed to the 17th and then the 24th, well then again till the 6th of Oct........ the person in charge of this never does call we always have to call there and again it was put off another day for completion. Yesterday when we called the reason was waiting for the new seatbelt to come in seriously last week when we called you would think they would have told us that then, but no was supposedly in paint still only the second time for that. Im not happy with their business manner at all very UNPROFESSIONAL. We had used them 8yrs ago and extremely happy, but this time not so much. Will go to a different business next time, because of lack of communication and unprofessional behavior........ As of today Oct 7th we have no idea when we will get our vehicle back.... VERY UNHAPPY CUSTOMERS 😡🤬😡

Brought vehicle in for extra engine noises. Even though I had an appointment I had to get driven home and wait 3 days for servicing my vehicle. After diagnosis they found an addition repair that doubled the repair cost.What I liked was the courteous way I was treated and how the mechanic posted online to me detailed explanation explaining and showing needed repairs. The car was given to me washed.What I didnt like was the additional wait for days for a repair that was scheduled in advance. They were unable to pick me up to retrieve my car.It was also annoying that the cost was extensive (over $2 000).

These guys are great. They also have a soda machine in the waiting room. However, their kids playroom is pretty outdated. Whos ever in charge of the TV, please get it fixed. And please get a Roku so kids can watch a video.
We had a great experience dealing with Ken Garff Honda in Riverdale. Although we live in Salt Lake, they were very accommodating with our schedule and even brought the car down to our home for us to inspect and test drive. We are at the mercy of two babies so it was hard with breastfeeding schedules to get out the door and drive all the way north to go over the car details. I need to call out Jordan Halley for his exceptional service, professionalism, patience and empathy for our needs and wants to get into the Pilot we purchased. He drove the car down himself and spent most of the afternoon with me and answered all of my questions. We purchased on a holiday as banks were closed but he made the transaction smooth and easy and as quick as possible. I definitely recommend working with him and working with Ken Garff. I’m a Toyota guy through and through but I’m very impressed with this dealership and Honda now.
These guys did a pretty good job is a really weird situation. We have only had our car serviced by Honda. It was and out of the shop 3 weeks out of 4. They couldnt help that parts were back ordered. They took care of my van and got it back in a timely manner. It seems the other dealership that serviced our Odyssey broke something. The guys in the service department were so funny. They could tell I was frustrated. They were too! When picking my car up the final time they said no offense but we dont want to see you back here very soon. I laughed and told them the only time I hope I see them in the future is when I trade my van in for a new Pilot. I did find it odd that I received a text and email letting me know how I could pay before I received word from a person that my car was finished. Also snaps to Alfredo for going above and beyond. He definitely had our backs in this situation.

I have never serviced this vehicle at any place other than your dealership.However, I am beginning to wonder about that when I seem to have paid $99 for a $20 air filter. I have never been one who likes to think that they have been overcharged by someone in whom I have placed my trust.
It took over an hour to have my oil changed and tires balanced. I wonder if it does me any good to make an appointment or if they just take people as they come in? The people are friendly.

Mario was, as always, terrific in finding a new truck then having everything ready for the purchase. We spent very little time completing the paperwork ahead of the trucks arrival. Two days later Mario had the truck, clean, fueled up and ready to drive off. It couldnt have gone better. And, on top of all that, if theres a nicer, more personable Honda, or any other brand car salesman--I dont know who that is.

The experience at Ken Garff was atypical. It all made sense in the end, however, it would have been nice to have the process explained on the front end. The salesperson kept leaving us at his desk when he made repeated trips to the front office. We were leary that the shenanigans were taking place in the front room. Once we discovered the salesperson was also performing the tasks normally performed by the finance department things came together. All in all I prefer the Garff experience. But actually while it was taking place it seemed confusing to me. Explain it on the front end then customers can relax and enjoy the streamlined process as its happening.
I had a broken windshield replaced by a glass company and they informed me that the cameras needed to be re-calibrated. I tried to get an appointment. First time 14th person in line. No problem I will just wait on hold only after 5-10 minutes it gets transferred to the main line and I get told to call back. Next time 12th person in line same thing and girl at the main line knew there is a problem. next time I get in and made an appointment for Friday at 10:45 - perfect. I get there a 10:45 and they tell me they can look at it next week. I didnt get a 1045 appointment to drop it off but to get it taken care of that day. The service people know there was a problem also but cant do anything about it. I am not too confident that I will get taken care of the next appointment I made. Their answers seemed like it might be the same thing next week. Maybe I just need to take it to Bountiful

Saftey recall on my vehicle, I have had a appointment scheduled for months and even confirmed 3 days ago that everything is set and confirmed the parts had arrived. Today when I showed up I was told there was NO PARTS.This place is so hard to get ahold of. “We hear you” that’s there slogan haha nope they don’t listen.

Took care in for a recall got it done pretty quick then tried to sell me on a bunch of services they said I needed. Grateful for the quick service
Made an appointment for today at 12:45 to have my A/C serviced on my Civic! When I get there they tell me I’ll have to leave it for the weekend and they’ll get to it Monday! Who can go with out a car all weekend!First off why did they schedule me to come in to an appointment they weren’t willing to honor!From now on I’ll take my service elsewhere! I’m on the search for a new vehicle at the moment an Ken Garff just got scratched from that list!!

It was my first service visit and definitely not my last. The guys were quick and very professional. The waiting room was awesome. Also saw they had a childrens area gonna have to try that out next time were in.
Worst dealership ever. I will never recommend them or do business with them again. Within 24 hours of buying our vehicle we had problems with it. They were no help. We bought an extra warranty through them so they would cover things if it broke. Every time we’ve called them about this warranty no one has any idea what’s covered and we end up on the phone for over two hours while they basically just keep telling us that they won’t know it’s covered unless they look at our van first. And did I mention they charge you to check the vehicle? I just paid them over $400 just to tell me that something is wrong with the van and not actually fix it. They were already fixing something on my van that was covered under warranty but because they looked in other areas while fixing that part of the vehicle they charged me for looking in those areas and telling me what is broken. Above and by far the worst customer service and place to do business with. I wish I could give them negative stars. They also told us when we bought that warranty through them they only covered us for three years. We had to call the warranty company itself this week when Honda was of no help to us and they informed us we’re actually covered for five. I would advise anyone and everyone against buying from here.
Jordan Halley was very helpful. I inquired in advance about a van and they made sure it was ready for me to check out and drive as soon as I got to the dealership. Jordan took the time to show me various features and answer all my questions. He wasnt pushy at all and the price and fees were very transparent. I ended up buying the used Odyssey and have not regretted the purchase at all. I would recommend Jordan to anyone else looking to buy a Honda.
I had the pleasure of working with repair advisor, Alfredo today. I came in for a recall service and also ended up needing some additional work. He called and walked me through what was needed and was transparent, honest and didnt make me feel pressured what so ever. He was a joy to work with kind, courteous and I would come back for service off his level of customer service, alone. Thanks, Alfredo!
Have gotten all but 2 of my oil Changes here in the last 9 yrs. I am not from the state, but this is the place I go. At one point they recognized me from being out of town, and would rush me through. That has since stopped, but still get good service. The wait is the only negative about the whole place. Even if you show up before the service center opens plan on an hour or so. Thanks for keeping us on the roadRegards8/30/21Brought car in for an oil change. I was 4th car in line. The first three had been dropped off. I arrived before service department opened. Once they opened, I went in and asked to get my oil changed. I was asked if I had an appointment. I did not since I am not from Utah, and this is where I have always taken my car. I was told I couldnt get my oil changed since they were so busy. This would have been the second time this in August I was told they were to busy to fit me in. The first time was just a flat out no, but I explained I lived out of town. He said they were trying to move the service department to another building. He said he would try and fit me in. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. He did inform me that for at least the remainder of the year I would need an appointment. There is no Honda dealer where I live. If I have to have an appointment to get the oil changed, then I will do it myself going forward or go to Wiley in Woods Cross. I am very greatful to have been fit into the schedule, but if they are busy until next yr. I will make other arrangements for an oil change.MAKE AN APPOINTMENT... walk ins not welcome.We had a good run while it lasted.Thank you
