Had to come in to get a flat tire fixed. Took an hour and a half despite being the 1st one there but thats beside the manner. I purchased a tire here 2 months prior and apparently since I quit working at belle tire a decade ago the policy of grind the rust out of the rim before you put a tire on had changed and my tire went flat because of this.So 2 hours of my life and a $150 gone (Im a delivery driver and my tire being flat made me incapable of working) because the workers here are too lazy to follow through on a basic procedure and would rather douse my rim in bead sealer than grind it out like they are supposed to.Decent coffee.UPDATE: Went out to my car the evening of getting the flat fixed... FLAT AGAIN.... Wow. 2 days of wages gone.

Only have a 2 star cuz they were able to get me in promptly for a screw in my tire. I was told a patch probably wouldnt hold and that I needed a new tire that would cost $100+ and told me the inside of my tires were pretty chewed up on my almost new tires and I should consider all new tires. I declined and got it to a different place closer to home and they patched it with no problems and said they didnt see anything wrong with the tires. So I almost dropped $100+, but only ended up spending $16 elsewhere. Definitely try to gouge you. 2 bad experiences at 2 different Belle Tires in 2 days. Safe to say I wont be going there again.

They did good work and got my done car done in a reasonable amount of time. They offer a lot more than just tires here also. You do ball joints steering and alignments. The prices a little high but its also a big business. They are never as cheap as your local mechanic.

Friendly and quick as I got new tires for my trailer. They were stacked and I saw the D load rating on the outer one. I paid and loaded them in my truck. When taking them out at home I saw the second tire was a lesser rated C load rating. I tried to call to confirm they had another D, but the last 15 minutes I was hung up / disconnected upon several times. We will see what the morning brings, but an hour round trip for not my error is a little tough to take.

They are now my guy if anyone remembers that marketing campaign. The alignment warranty is worth every penny.

Despite some initial miscommunications regarding estimation vs actual on one of my repair items, these guys took the responsibility and ended up doing that item free of cost to me as a courtesy. I always had a great experience on all my visits and I recommend this place over any others in Okemos/Lansing.

We were traveling and noticed an issue with our passenger rear tire. My wife called and spoke with Robert he said they could get us in and would have the car done by 6 pm. We were greeted by a helpful staff. Not only was the staff helpful but they had us back on the road in under an hour. Robert and his co workers were great. If this Belle Tire was not so far from our home we were go there again in a heartbeat. Thank You So Much Belle Tire for the save on this trip.

I thought I’d try them again and nothing has changed regarding their customer service. AVOID this company. You can find your exact same tire for the same price and even cheaper somewhere else. Save yourself the stress and heartache and just spend your money elsewhere.

Belle Tire in Okemos has quickly become my go-to place for car service. After going to my previous mechanic twice for an inspection and being told nothing was wrong (I knew something was wrong), I went to Belle Tire and they quickly inspected my car and had a list of things that may have been causing the noises I was hearing. Their scheduling is always quick and easy. Jake and Nick are super friendly and helpful, and are always sure to explain anything Im unsure about. Even though I know Im going to spend money I dont want to spend, they make it so I dont absolutely dread coming in to get my car worked on.

Took a tire in that had a rather large hole in it. I waited a few minutes and pulled into the bay. Tech removed tire and repaired quickly. He kept me informed of progress and reminded me to keep an eye on it since it was a good size hole. No charge for the repair and was handled quickly and professionally.

These folks rock ... I have a 1989 Dodge Ram 50 that I love ... I was hit with what I thought was a dead battery, but the road service said the battery had power ... a jump and a 15 minute running time recharged it. Three days later, this happens again. I am thinking I am ready for a new alternator or battery ... Bell got me in immediately this morning, turns out only some belts needed to be tightened. In and out in about 1/2 hour, only $50. I love these guys!

I went to them to have one of my tires looked at. We had to put air in it every so often. It was checked to see if there was a nail or something in it. It either had a crack in between the tread or the inside was bad. The tread was low and it was suggested that I should get a new tire. I was shown all the tires so I could see the difference. I made arrangements to bring it in the next day and get a new tire. I got in and out fairly quick. The service was good and they are following protocol in regards to covid.

Nick was my tire tech. Great. Fast, friendly, informative. And he didnt try too hard for an upsell. He simply informed me that my pitman arm and idler arm were worn and very loose and that, is what I feel in the steering. Thats the right way to do that. Hes my tire tech, period.

Dropped my car off for a tire issue they had it fixed and out the door within an hour! They called me and let me know my vehicle was done and my total! It was a rapid loss of air they inspected and repaired the issue and they were super friendly and highly efficient. Rob and Mike are awesome!!! Highly recommend them!

My right rear tire would not hold air on a trip to the grocery store I drove by and thought, I better see how busy they are and at least fill the tire with convenient free air station outside. Nick met me at the door and recognized me and what he could do to help. I explained my dilemma and to my delight he told me to leave my car right there and we’ll see what’s going on with and get you on your way in 15 or 20 minutes. Well, I had picked up a screw and they fixed me right up! 20 minutes. My hats off to you for all of the great service over the years!!

I have used Belle tire for the past few years for personal and business purposes. Ive always had pretty positive experiences at the Okemos location but it just keeps getting better. Id personally like to thank the manager Nick J. and his staff for some of the best service Ive experienced anywhere. His leadership shows not only thru his service but also his team. I couldnt recommend this store more. 5+ stars in my book.

Constant lying, overcharging, up selling, and disrespect. They even refused to honor my warranty. Just all around poor business practices. There was not one positive thing I can take away from the experience. I will never give them my money again and I will encourage others to stay away as well.

Made an appointment the night previous just for a visual inspection, not even to get any work done. Arrived the next day for my appointment and was told they were too backed up to even inspect it. I understand being busy and short staffed but why not call me ahead of time then so I can make other arrangements?

I had a tire that wasn’t holding air for more than 24 hours & needed my tires rotated. I called Belle Tire Okemos and arranged to drop my vehicle off. They were courteous and clear on when they expected my job to be done. They finished the work well within the quoted time and charged me nothing for removing a 3-inch screw from my tire or the tire rotation, since I had purchased the tires from them. Courteous staff + great service = I will remain a customer at Belle Tire Okemos for a long time! 👍🏽

My car runs like a top (although Im not sure I know how a top runs! Traveling from out of state when the evil low tire pressure light came on. It was 6pm on a Monday. Called 2 different locations and they couldn’t get me in. So I called Belle in Okemos and Alex answered. Said they had no wait and could get me taken care. I normally have a black cloud over me and figured I was about to be told I had to buy a new tire. Nope 30 min later my car is pulled front ready to go. Alex let me know it’s all fixed. I ask how much I owe and he looks at me and said we’re all good you don’t owe us anything.I can’t thank them enough. Made a stressful event and trip a million times better. Thank you so much!!!!!

Absolute best Belle tire in the greater Lansing area, the service I got here was, super helpful, they were honest willing to work with me on finding the best price and making my car safe. They were able to get me in and out within an hour and a half without an appointment, which is shocking to me because at the Belle tire in Grand ledge Ive usually waited 2-3 hours with an appointment. The service at the okemos one however was outstanding! Very polite and helpful. Ask for Robert L he went out of his way to help me out and make sure my car was safe.

Always had a great experience at my hometown Belle Tire in Fenton so I thought Id try out the Okemos location since I was in the area. What an entirely different experience. Aside from not given an estimation time or accurate pricing, my main concern was that no one explained the work that was completed. I was told my total and given my receipt and they sent me on my way. The Fenton store not only tells me what they did, but offers me recommended services that I usually end up adding on. This place really couldnt be bothered to do the bare minimum for customer service.

Very good place to buy your new tires. Was treated very well and wasnt pressured to buy anything I didnt want. Had a estimate that I got from them online in January that had expired. I had a medical problem and couldnt meet the time frame and they had no problem with honoring it. Will buy more tires from them in the future.

Besides charging almost twice what most other decent shops charge, they completely missed the broken shredded cable hanging down underneath and they missed a few other things like the emergency brake, but that must be because they didnt want to admit to damaging the leather boot that connects. I will be finding out in the next few days if they exaggerated some things to charge over 600 in labor for a 40 dollar part.

I came to Belle Tire today in Okemos because I had an issue with my tire having a slow leak. Was told to not do anything just drive on it. There was no need to wait 6 hours to get it fixed. It would be a waste of time. I didnt expect that answer so I called there sister property on Pennsylvania; Talked with a fellow named Chad and he said bring it on in we will look at it and see what we can do. It was done in no time and no hassle. Found a huge screw in my tire and resealed it. I appreciate you accepting my business rather than turning me away. Would highly recommend coming to the one in Holt instead of Okemos where I had bought my tires earlierthis year which were still under warranty.

I had a flat tire and I took the tire to this belle tire. After waiting for an 1 hr, they checked it and said they cant fix it. As its a new tire bought from somewhere else, they told me to contact that company. But I knew that, if anything happen due to road issues, I will not get any warranty from that company. So, I took the tire to another belle tire. The fixed my tire without any fee. I was so happy and relief. I think something is wrong with this belle tire. I am giving 3 star because they didnt tell to buy a new one from them. Otherwise I dont think this belle tire people are efficient enough.

We called them and they said they were able to do our tires right away no problem. We go in they didn’t give us a wait time so we thought it would be 30 mins - 1 hour. We waited an hour and they saw us waiting there. So after an hour we asked how long it would be and they’re like yeah it’s going to be a 3-4 hour wait. And then the prices on their website did not match the prices they charged us. There where hidden fines that they charges us. They charged us for the protection fees and we told them before hand that we did not want them. It was a really bad experience. We paid twice as much as we were expecting. Waited forever in the heat. I really do not recommend them.

Cause they made new problem in the car. This is one of the worst tire change. In one week i have to go three times to them still I have vibration and alignment problem. Before they change my tires I did not have these but soon after they change the tires I get these problem. Going there for any tire issue is the waste of your hard own money. Even with so many bad review, it seems they do not care at all.

I had a horible experience with this business! They told me for two new tires it would be 1-1 1/2 hour wait, there was one car ahead of me, so I chose to wait, after 2 hours they hadnt even started my car! When I asked what was the hold up, Noel told me that they had many appointments scheduled. When I asked why they didnt take that into account when they told me how long it would be, his answer was I dont know, I cant remember. They definitely do not care about their customers!!! I left and choose to not give them my business now or ever again!!

I bought four new tires because I decided to keep my car for a while longer. I was able to get a quote and make an appointment online. It was contactless as I was able to stay in my car, avoiding the waiting room and others in my car during the pandemic. The service was great from start to finish. I did find out later on my first drive, as my warning came on check tire pressure that my tires should have been recalibrated. I did have to return and am still somewhat confused as to that process.

Ive been a longtime customer. It took two hours for a simple tire swap with an appointment. They were more interested in selling me additional work than completing the job I was paying to doThis will be my last visit.

Customer Service is severely lacking at the management level / They DO NOT stand behind their service work / No effort to mitigate a very expensive tech mistake / Blame was put on customer with ZERO signs of remorseThis is an unfortunate thing for me to have to write because over the course of the last 5-7 years Ive enjoyed having my car serviced at Belle Tire. Further, at a previous job, I recommended and succeeded in having our small fleet of vehicles serviced there. This Okemos location is great up to the point when something goes wrong and part of the blame is on their shoulders, then they are cowardly and dont take responsibility for their actions.To keep the story short, I had some service work done at this location and a few thousand miles later had complete engine failure, resulting in having to purchase a new engine for just under $5,000. There was no other indications of engine problems and in fact the engine was just over 60,000 miles. I took the car to a mechanic after the engine failure and was told the only way this could have happened was a mistake done by Belle Tire (the last people to touch the engine).While this is certainly frustrating and very costly, what bothered me even more was the customer service and professionalism that followed. The first Tuesday after the engine failure I went in to the location and spoke with Don the manager. He advised me he would gather the facts, run it up the chain and get back to me. Two weeks later I had not heard anything so I called back and spoke to the new manager (I dont recall his name). Without doing any investigation into the matter, he told me there was nothing we can do. I went over the facts of the matter with him, and he seemed to have details about the car, but the reports from the mechanic all wrong and, at times, he contradicted himself in his explanation. I asked for his district managers number and was told they cant give that information out. I then asked him to have the district manager contact me. He said he would. This never happened.After several days I located the corporate number and called. I spoke with David Talbot who was very kind, understanding and gave me a date to expect follow up which was met. A bright spot in this whole situation.A week after that I received a call from the district manager who said Belle Tire feels that they have no responsibility in this matter and cant do anything to rectify the situation. I didnt even get an apology for all the hoops I had to jump through the previous three weeks to get in contact with him. He then blamed me saying you should have heard something in the engine. (Note: there was no indication of the looming engine failure, no dash lights or warning signs, just a soft buzz for a couple miles then a loud clunk and that was it.)While I certainly wasnt expecting them to purchase me a new engine, a good faith effort to better the situation with a long time customer would have gone a long way. I had planned on having new tires and brakes put on my other vehicle later this spring, a purchase of about to about $1,500, but another local shop will be getting this business.This Okemos store, and likely the Lansing area under this district manager, is more focused on keeping the profit lines up and not retaining a long time customer.Further I ask that Belle Tire not comment on this post with some cookie cutter We are aware of your concern. If youre going to respond to this post come with some answers and resolutions, not just acknowledgment.

Went to bring a tire in for repair today. Quick, easy repair, only 1 other car in the service bays. Guy tells me 3 hrs until it’s done, yet techs just standing around. Went across the st to Discount Tire, tire fixed in 20 mins. Not the first time I have had issues at this belle tire location. I’ll buy tires from discount now for all my vehicles, including fleet vehicles.Let me add to this, a customer that was behind me at Belle tire, also just pulled in to Discount and is getting taken care of immediately. Sad.

I had a battery issue and needed to replace ASAP because it was very cold. The Im Your Guy was able to get me in almost immediately since I had to go to work about an hour and half after walking in. They replaced the battery and checked the fuses, giving me the confidence in my car I needed. Very efficient and Very fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have taken my car four times to fix a tire that I purchased new one year ago (purchased the whole set). The store has no problem getting my car in their schedule, but after picking up my car, I experience the same problem. Low air tire. Frustrating

These guys are the best! My family and I were on our way home from vacation yesterday and got a flat tire on the highway. Made it to their store a half hour before closing and they fixed it for us at no charge. They even stayed a little past closing. Very much appreciated!

Best tire prices great employees and fast service

I have purchased 4 set of tires from bell in the past 4 yrs. Their service is great and they price match anyone. My only complaint is they dont clean the tires. Each time after installation I would need to come home and clean them. If they spent approximately 1 min per tire and maybe 25¢ to apply tire shine b4 mounting they would look new.

I have been going in to this shop time to time for oil changes, tires and such. I have purchased wheels from Belle Tire and they look amazing! The staff even replaced a control arm at one point and even two camshaft solenoids. My car runs better than ever. FAST in and FAST out! These guys have amazing customer service and their boys in the back can make quick work of any job. I highly recommend visiting this shop it will be worth your time and money!Thanks again Belle Tire!See you next oil change!

Unfortunately my car broke down right outside the parking lot of Belle Tire and Don an employee at Belle Tire came out to take a look and said hell take good care of me. He advised me to call the towing company they dropped the car off now Im looking forward to hearing from Don and getting my car back

I went twice. The first time I had a cracked rim and was told they couldnt help me. I had a rim crack. They couldnt put a tire on it. I have a normal car and they sell rims, so they could have said it in a nicer way. Maybe they were helping by not offering rims at a high price but at least an offer to get me tires by getting a rim would have been nice. Saying we cant help you was just unhelpful. I shopped elsewhere and got rims and 2 tires... Anyway I went again to get new tires since my 2 old ones on back wobbled I thought, or I had bad bearings. They checked and said only my front rim was bent but was fine because they balanced it all. But my car was wobbling or vibrating badly in back where they said no problems found. Also get this: They locked my car in the shop so I couldnt get it, at close of day DESPITE I clearly told them to leave it out, and they didnt offer me tires, as they said MAYBE my bearing was bad; didnt offer me a bearing for sale, or a rim, which they had said was bad too. So both times they declined to even try to sell me anything or fix the car. And to not check my bad wobble is bizarre, but maybe they didnt listen to my described issues. It seems they didnt even test drive it.?.. I talked with managers (after going to another shop and yes indeed replacing a bearing, which helped the wobble 90%), and they apologized and had to talk to their employees about my treatment. I was told by the other shop they are known for locking up cars when no service is needed... not sure its true, but I walked home that night without my car. Also my other bearing nuts were incorrectly torqued, though I cant say who did that. It was not a satisfying experience. But maybe they were saving me money by sending me off...? So thank you for helping by not helping... ? But not for locking my car up.

After going someplace else that couldnt help me with my tire, I came here and received prompt service at a fair price. A sales associate named Nate helped me find a middle ground with getting my tire fixed while not having to pay to have all four replaced. Im really happy with the result because I was scared it was going to cost me an arm and a leg, but the staff was very helpful and friendly while helping me find a solution.

I can not believe how much this business takes advantage of its customers. Being considerate for company policy and weather conditions will only go so far. But to have to wait three days for your vehicle after an unfortunate mishap that only affected one tire (then were forced to buy 4 or risk paying to tow to another location) patience goes out the window. We were given 4 different time frames for our vehicle to be completed. Not to much having to wait with a toddler for over an hour. Never mind being charged an arm and a leg the whole time. I am disgusted.

Ive always liked Belle tire up until now, I made an appointment for an alignment and tire rotation. I was told it would be 2 hours which was great. When I returned 2 hours later it hadnt been aligned yet so I questioned it. The manager went out to see what the status was and immediately pulled the truck up front took all of the plastic out and handed me the keys. I asked him what about the alignment, he said it needed new lower ball joints and thats why they didnt proceed. He then hands me a print out of the cost for the repairs and says have a good day. Any way I was sorta surprised that I didnt get a call about it before I returned, so I went home and checked the ball joints myself. There is no play and they are tight and in good shape. I guess they didnt feel like doing the work. I guess Ill go somewhere else in the future, thanks for nothing!

Went for tires and an alignment. The tire installation was fine, but then they told me that they couldnt do the alignment because I needed all 4 ball joints done and quoted me over $1,000 for it. So, I took my truck to another shop for a second opinion. Come to find out my ball joints are FINE and not even the issue.Im glad I went somewhere else for services and didnt waste money on unnecessary repairs and end up farther in the hole.The employees we nice, but wouldnt you be too if you were trying to get $1,000 from someone?

Nick Julet was phenomenal. He got my vehicle in quickly. He called me as soon at the new tires were installed and recommended an allignment. I got great tires at a great price installed quickly and with the best customer service Ive had in a long time. Belle Tire is the leader in tires and customer service!

I went in yesterday to get a new tire put on to replace a tire I just got 26,000 miles ago. I just then heard that they had to prorate the mileage that I put into these tires and pay the difference. I asked how many miles these tires were rated for, and the customer service rep told me 70,000 miles. I bought these tires for $105 a piece just 5 months ago. How was it that I put on 26,000 miles and I still end up paying $75 for the new tire yesterday. To top it off my sensor was off on my car for air pressure and when I checked it in the new tire my tire was at 54 PSI. These tires are only supposed to be 32 psi. Then I ask the customer service rep to check the sensors because after I put two tires on in the fall I had noticed that my sensors were backwards so my front low pressure was actually showing up on my rear tires. I asked them to check that yesterday and all the customer service rep said was that there shouldnt be an issue with this particular model, however they would check it. Do you think they checked it?! Absolutely not! I will never go back to Belle Tire! #DiscountTireearnedmyrepect

I went here with a friend so she could get a used car inspection on a truck. She is a regular customer and is known by name. I watched the tech come back from test drive and do the inspection. Upon receiving the sheet i was amazed at how much he did not do and the amount of pencil whipping. The tech wrote down the wrong tire size and did not mention the rear tires wear very choppy on inside edge. The brakes according to the paper are in great shape but the wheels never came off. I could accept that for the front as they are disc. But rear drums can not be inspected without wheel and drum removal which did not happen. I have never spent a penny here and after this i will not. How can a tire store not even get the tire size right? Nothing noted about the hard pull to the right at all. Nothing noted about the missing protective body body panel between inner fender well and engine compartment.

Charged me for 4 hours to put on 4 tires go somewhere else

They always get me in and out as quick as possible, depending on work needed. Theyve always been straight and forthright about what has to be done and when things can be out off.

For some unknown reason, my faithful little Subaru Impreza has had issues lately with picking up nails in two different tires over the last month but my local Belles Tire store manager (Nicholas Julet) has taken care of everything professionally and promptly. I appreciate the reliable service on both occasions want to acknowledge how well Ive been served.

Prices are competitive, but I will likely shop elsewhere from now on even if I have to pay more.Dont bother trying to get your free tire rotation without an appointment unless youre willing to wait 2-4 hours. Typically an appointment can be made for the following week...I dont blame the staff, they appear to be busy. However, I havent had the same issues trying to get service at other tire shops (especially rotations), even though they are also busy.Even with an appointment for new tires or other work at Belle Tire, count on 2 to 3 times as long as youre told.

I have read some of the reviews before writing mine and found some of the things said to be different then my experience. First, I was given an appointment to bring my car in. I noticed my car sit where I parked it for 5 minutes before someone took it away to start work. I was brought back and given the information on what needed to be done with in 15 minutes.It was clear that I needed to get 4 new tires. 2 of the 4 were in bad shape and my 4 wheel drive car needs all 4 replaced. I was handed a quote with 5 options. Of course the cheaper choices werent in stock, but I didnt really want to go with a cheap choice. I am also not a car guru so I sat with my choices and called my dad. At no point did I feel like they wanted me to buy the most expensive set. It was actually pointed out the a cheaper set was just as good if not better than the expensive set. I made my choice and waited while the crew put my new tires on.I was the first person to sit in the waiting room at about 4pm. By 4:30 all the seats were full. When I was done the seats were half empty. I knew how long my service was going to take and it seemed that everyone else was getting quick services as well.Finally, Belle Tire has free air. Car after car pulling up to fill their tires and not stepping foot in the store. There was even a person that asked an associate to come outside and fill her tires up for her. They dont get paid to do that and he did it promptly. I think they should get paid if they are asked to do this, but thats just me.
