The closest thing we have to real BMX shop. They do everything they can to get street, and park riders bikes,and parts that are relevant brands. The service I got from Zach at this bike shop was exceptional. I first came in just needing information on the right road bike for me and the differences between different bikes and he was very knowledgeable about everything. I was able to test ride a bike and compare it to another similar bike. After I bought the bike I was offered a free basic fitting. I also got a great discount on the bike, I think better than any discount you could get at the fancier bike shops in Edmond.

This is my favorite bike store. I think there are other grate stores also. What sets them apart is their great selection and great service. They have a lot of bargain items to go along with their high end inventory. They have always been helpful to give free advice and to help people regardless if it leads to a sale.

Im new to cycling & visited the shop a month ago or so. I was excited to check the shop out, look at some bikes, learn some new stuff, & meet new folks. The gentleman inside was stand offish and offered no helpful information. I was essentially told they do not offer any type of bike I would be interested in.What a let down of an experience. No recommendations or insight. No conversation. All because he assumed I wasnt ready to blow down $2,000 on a bike?Its a shame as I live just a few blocks south of here, but, where one shop fails another one succeeds.

Came in this morning to get tires for my bike. The guy acted like he was bothered by having a customer come in. I waited for over 15 minutes while this person clicked around on the computer not saying a word. How long does it take to look up a set of tires? The phone rings during all of this and the attendant picks up the phone and totally ignores the customer right in front of him. We left and will never be back, unbelievable. Apparently making money is something this shop is not concerned about.

Store has an excellent selection of bmx and mountain bikes. Was super stoked they had the exact model Ive been contemplating buying online. Its nice to walk into a store and actually see the item in person. The staff was very accommodating and fit me to the bike free of charge.

Went there on a Wednesday afternoon. The staff was super friendly and willing to help me out with my inquiries. Lots of BMX style bikes available which seems to set them apart from some of the other bike shops I visited. There were some bike brands that I didnt recognize. The prices seemed reasonable for the stuff I wanted. I didnt make a purchase but plan to soon. The store looked clean and was organized.

A really good all around experience! I was in the market for an entry level sort of mountain bike. I got an idea in my head that I may enjoy biking, so I started looking around town. A friend of mine that is a biking enthusiast told me I should check out Melonbike. I was almost overwhelmed when I entered the shop because they have so many bikes and parts all in one space. Thankfully the staff asked me all the right questions as to what my experience was and as to what may suit my needs. They were very friendly and pointed me in the right direction as to what bike would be an affordable starter and also I could grow with. Also they advised me to things a beginner like me was clueless to. For instance they found a bike that would fit the size of my body, and would also be a comfortable ride. I found them to be the best price in town for the quality of product. The best part of this place though is the follow up. After taking my bike out for the first time my bike suffered a flat and I contacted Melonbike and they sold me thorn proof tubes at a discount and installed them for free. They also checked the bikes mechanics to make sure everything was still in spec. I plan on doing more business here in the future and highly recommend them.

I just visited the store today, and it was great! Zack helped me out and took time to explain bikes to me for about an hour. They have a good selection of bikes of all types at great prices! I was impressed at the high quality road bikes they had that were so affordable! Go to this place to get a bike! Theyre great!!!

NOT FOR BEGINNERSIm blown away reading all of the great things people had to say.I am a novice cyclist. I dont currently have a nice bike but I am very happy with the one I have, it has taken me hundreds of miles. But it had started having issued and Id never gotten it tuned. So I talked to people I knew that rode, I read online about places. When I first went in they made it all seem very affordable, I didnt go in expecting to be able to afford much. Wrapping up, in the end it cost about 2/3s of what they quoted for less than half of the work we had discussed. Also it took about 3x as long.All of that probably would have been fine but they were RUDE the whole time.

I love Melonbike, we bought 4 bicycles from them and couldnt be any happier. The guys were very helpful by helping us finding the right bike for us and being 20% cheaper than the competition made our purchasing decision very easy not to mention all the cool inventory they carry. We will definitely come back again.

Had a bike in rough shape and didnt remember how to use it, got it tuned up and had all my questions answered.The wheels on that bike are in poor shape, and my ride style had made it poorer. I was having spokes go out and significant lateral wobble. It took some extra labor but it was completely worth the thorough truing - though it hops (and always will) it was made _remarkably_ laterally true.After these two experiences, out on a 20 mile grocery run, I bent my crank quite badly accelerating from a stop. Carrying 30lbs of groceries in my basket, the old wheel lost another two spokes. I rode the bike, with groceries, over to the shop. The old beat up wheel is remarkably straight for its age again, and the crank was available for replacement at a reasonable cost. What impressed me most, though, was how quickly they got me back out on the road on the bike I rode in on. It was an unfortunate time to have something go wrong, and I think they went above and beyond to fix the situation at a reasonable cost.

Great bike shop! Never bought a bike there, but this is where I bring both my road and MTB bikes. Prices for service and very fair and they are amazing with drive train adjustments and wheel truing. And way faster than any other shop Ive been to. Usually next day at the longest. Their prices on accessories and parts is fair retail. You can save money on the Internet, but I prefer to deal with someone local most of the time. Ive bought a lot of tools from them and have never had an issue. Everybody has their favorite LBS and this one is mine.

This Bicycle shop is by far the best in OKC area, The customer service was great, the owner of the shop is very knowledgeable on both road and mountain bikes. He answered all my questions and fit me to the perfect bike that I needed. The prices are very competitive with other stores around and are a little cheaper than most. I would highly recommend this shop especially if youre new to the sport and have a lot of questions.

Moved to the bay area but still get everything from Melon bike. Love their service and knowledge. Just picked up a roadster in my last trip to OKC, had them tune and box it back up then flew it back with me. I recommend them all the time to people all over, easy to advance rider skill, doesnt matter just hit them up and they will take care of you.

Best prices in Oklahoma. Last year I was in the market for a mountain bike and went to six stores in OKC and called a few. Melonbike gave me the best deal by far (altogether appr. 25% cheaper than comparable bikes with Shimano XT groups).They have a huge selection of bikes, parts and accessories. I am now a regular customer and have never been disappointed by the guys there. No long waits for repairs or tune ups, always friendly and helpful.If you can´t find a part somewhere else, give them a call and they will probably have it in stock.My favorite bicycle store, very much recommended!

Horrible repair job! There were so many issues with this place I dont even know where to start. I took my GT in for a rebuild, and they got everything wrong. They didnt give me the brakes I wanted, and they attached the cable with some cheap twist ties. When I got it back the rear brake didnt even work right. I had to take it apart and re-assemble it. The rear wheel was rubbing the frame and wasnt even aligned properly. The crank was loose in the frame and I had to tighten it before I could even ride it. The tires were flat, I had to air them up. He told me the the handbars were fused and he couldnt losen the neck bolts. I was able to losen them easily and realign the handle bars. I feel like I was completely taken advantage of. If you want a new bike this is probably the best place to buy one but I will never take my bike to repaired here. It kind of seemed like a good ole boy situation where I wasnt in their circle so I wasnt getting the best service possible.
