Just recieved a chicken feeder and couldnt be happier! Its exactly what I needed to keep rodents and wild birds from eating my chicken feed. The design and quality are excellent and when I had a question, they were quick to respond. Highly recommend!

I was surprised to find out that this company builds everything in house instead of selling Chinese made cabinets. The quality was excellent, we were kept informed all along the way, and there were no surprises. We will be using them again.

I dont usually take the time to write reviews but I wanted to share our experience. With so many options out there it is overwhelming deciding what company to go with. We had a small project, a kitchen and countertop in a 500sqft cabin, and we like that Al offers the design and installation of both cabinets and countertops. We could not be happier that we decided to go with The Carpenter Shop for our project. The first time I called Al he was able to get us in the next day to discuss the design and pricing. He wasnt pushy at all, he took the time to go over everything with us and offer us advice even before we decided to do business with him. Al really went above and beyond for us. Everything from the design, the communication, to the quick installation went smoothly. We decided to make several modifications as we went along and Al was so helpful. The price was very reasonable considering the customization, personalization, and customer service we received. Al is a very hard-working, straight forward guy and he runs a great business. He really knows his stuff and the end result was beautiful! We would highly recommend!

Owner has amongst the worst customer service Ive experienced. Simply put his products did not work as advertised, and he was rather quick to jump to foul language and implications of our stupidity when presented with the issues were having. Utter waste of money and time.

I found Als website while doing an internet search for carpenters and low-and-behold he had pictures posted of my kitchen cabinets being installed in our house back while it was under construction (we are the second owners). My wife mainly selected our house because of the kitchen, so I was really interested in having Al build a built in desk for my study. He took my rough drawings and turned them into my ideal desk that I spend a lot of time using. He handled all the work himself from the making of the cabinets, to applying a great paint job, to ordering and customizing the composite desktop, to the installation of it all. I found Al to be a straight shooter and I enjoyed dealing with him. Hes probably not the cheapest out there, but his rates are reasonable, and I believe you get what you pay for with him. I would recommend Al, and would use him again when the need arises.

The owner is unprofessional and resorted to name calling when I requested a refund for a chicken feeder that arrived damaged. I have never experienced such a negative interaction with a business before. Buyer beware!

The Carpenter Shop installed solid surface counter tops in my home probably ten years ago. They have performed beautifully over the years, always looking nice. Part of the Carpenter Shop guarantee is that he will come out and polish the counter tops for free at any time after installation. Recently because I am selling my home, I had him come out to polish them again. He came out, no questions asked, and the counters look brand new again. I would highly recommend the Carpenter Shop and solid surface counters.

Unprofessional:Everyone has a right to their political opinion but this business owner chose to pack his product with hateful written political propaganda instead of plain packing paper. When my wife called his business phone to leave a complaint, he lashed out at her with rage and expletives instead of just simply apologizing and moving on.His behavior was unwarranted, immature, and unprofessional.

I worked with a custom cabinet maker in my youth, so I know quality construction and design when I see it. I came to Al with a kitchen design already in place, but he helped me make it even better with updated design and technology. I wanted lots of tray drawers instead of lower cabinets you have to reach back into to get that pan or dish you hardly ever use and his designs easy accommodated this. I loved his use of varying cabinet heights and depths to accent his use of crown mold at the top and getting rid of that ugly useless soffet. My kitchen has only an 8 ceiling, so it really helped to open up the space.Al can give you any counter top you desire from Formica to Granite depending on your needs, budget and wishes. He was a great help in choosing something durable, cleanable, and healthful. His cabinets are rugged and durable and come complete with a beautiful variety of styles and finishes. A walk through his display room just starts the conversation rolling to help you get what you truly want for your project. He is patient and helpful and seems to have seen it all. You wont get to the end of your project and say, Gee. I wish I had known about that.Al does not cut corners. He makes sure the ts are crossed and the is are dotted so your cabinets go in without a hitch. And best of all, he is there when he says he will be there and you will pay the price agreed upon. No extras. No hidden fees.
