Nice store.Thank you for responding and asking why I did not leave a 5 star.We were referred to your store by another person locally. We were told that our best bet for a close match would be your store. The reference spoke highly and recommended we at least check it out.The first impression is the last I would say. I had told the sales associate that we were reffered by Mike from another local store. She rolled her eyes and said she receives several of those a day from him. As if to say the referrals are pointless. With that I showed her our example of tile we desperately needed to match or closely match. She dismissed it and told us what we already knew in regards to discontinued tile and sort of wandered away just to come back around again with no real help.11 tiles that dont have to be an exact match but close would keep us from ripping up an entire master bath.A friendly and interested sales associate even if NO tiles were found could have made the sale for a new floor in our master bath and even bedroom. Our purchases are usually decided not only on cost but also the experience we receive. As you are aware many with an experience such as this would have left a 2 or 3 star....Im however a little more lenient and hope someone else doesnt have the same result because of someone elses bad day.
Had a great experience with Autumn. I’m in the middle of building a house & had been to a few other floor places & either I didn’t like the selection or the price wasn’t in the budget. Mill creek had a better selection & their service from autumn & zack was top notch
Loved our experience! Amanda was so helpful in picking from their thousands of options. She stayed in contact with measurements, pricing, and scheduling. The day of installation we stayed in close contact up until the installers got there. They did a fantastic job and we are so happy!
Amanda Cowen in the North May office in OKC was extremely helpful and efficient. The installers did an excellent job also
Selecting and purchasing the flooring with Amanda was fairly easy. She even went out of her way to get me the best financing deal that she could. The installation process has been another story. The installers promised 2 days which turned into 4 which turned into some poor quality work that has taken 6 weeks to be fixed in fact they are here trying to fix it as I type this.Unfortunately, because of the overall hassle of installation and extra costs for floor leveling, I “might” recommend Mill Creek for the purchase of flooring as their selection and financing options are great but I would NEVER recommend you use their contractors for installation.
Price is a bit high and my sales rep needs work on his customer service skills. Product was perfect and installation crew was superb! Clean and conscientious!
Our experience with Mill Creek Carpeting and Tile on May Ave in OKC. I should have recognized the red flag when our initial scheduled appointment was not met and we had to call to remind Amanda. I respected my husband wishes and tried to be understanding. After we finally got the measurements she scheduled our installation appointment for April 16th. A few days later owe we need to order the wood but our check was cashed within 48hrs. After the floors came in the second week of May we had a installation scheduled for the 21st of May but they didn’t show up until the 22nd around 11am after promising to arrive on the 21st at 9am. Here’s the kicker though. They moved our furniture in the kitchen and couldn’t tell us when they would return to move our furniture back into the living room after the floor had been installed. Saturday past, Sunday passed and my husband tried to call on Monday. No response all day. We literally had to pay someone to move our furniture in order to have a active kitchen again. Another kicker they failed to order our quarter round and tried to make it our fault. With them being experts they should have known what was needed to make our flooring finished and beautiful. Will we ever use them or refer them? The answer would be no. Bad experience. Sales specialist ordered to many boxes of flooring and said that she thought that we wanted extra. We never discussed or agreed on it. SMH
A few years ago we used Mill Creek for a carpet install and had a wonderful experience, from beginning to end. Since we’d had such a great experience before, we decided to go back to them for a larger carpet and tile job in our home. The tile installation began on a Monday. The installers left their lunch trash on our kitchen counters, window sills and fireplace every single day. Because I couldn’t stand looking at it, let alone Covid-19 concerns, I was forced to clean up after them each evening after a full days work that entire week. Terrible! The installers left on Friday having completed the tile work but didn’t put our doors back up, didn’t put our washer and dryer back in our laundry room, didn’t put our toilet back and didn’t put our baseboards back on. The next day, Saturday, the carpet was installed by two different men who were asked by our sales rep, also the store manager, to do us all a favor and move our washer and dryer back into our laundry room which they did and we were grateful. When I asked if the tile guys would be back to finish the last pieces I was told we’d have to wait until Monday to find out. My husband and I celebrated our 23rd anniversary that Sunday putting our house back together (putting the doors back up and moving our toilet from the garage back to the restroom it belonged in) We were able to do everything besides the baseboards which were finished that Monday. We are now left with a small hole in the kitchen wall and are missing one baseboard! I’ll stop here as I get upset all over again.I generously gave 2 stars because the floors do look good but the way we were treated during the process was one that I wouldn’t wish on my biggest enemy.
Had previously shopped at multiple flooring locations. Richard waited on me shortly after I arrived. He took time to answer all my questions and ultimately steered me to the product I was looking for. Very pleasant experience. Even when I picked up my order, everyone was nice and willing to help. I will shop there again.
Wonderful carpet experience! Really nice and knowledgeable sells person and installation was a dream.
Very good install job Left in clean Price was very good
I worked with Arnoldo’s crew and they were very nice, clean, friendly, and got the job done right and at a high quality. 10/10
Bruce and his install team did an amazing job, I would highly recommend them!!!
The crew that laid the tile in a diagonal pattern did a marvelous job!! We are extremely happy with the result.
Jenn R at Mill Creek N May Ave has assisted with three separate projects over the last 7 years 1) carpet and pad in a master bath and master bedroom; 2) tile with the wood finish in dining, living room, guest two bathrooms and hall ways and 3) total kitchen remodel with granite counter tops and slate floor and backsplash. In all three instances, the work was done in a professional and outstanding way with minimal disruption. Would not hesitate to recommend or use her again for any flooring, kitchen or bath remodel.
I am sharing this because I rely heavily on reviews when I am searching for a service of any kind. I want to share our honest experience. It happens to be a very negative one. I would give 0 stars if I could. We had the worst experience with Mill Creek Carpet & Tile on North May Avenue. We ordered all new flooring for our house, both carpet and tile. I will say the carpet guys came and installed without a hitch. Our problem was with the tile. Bottom line, a job that should have taken a week, or two tops, took 4 months to complete. There were so many issues along the way, they installed chipped tiles, the grout lines were (and still are) really low, they grout color was everything from a very light gray to a dark brown depending on where you looked, the color we had picked was Earth, a medium brown, there is lippage that you actually catch your feet on. They cut tile inside the house so everything was covered in a thick layer of tile dust, we had to have a cleaning company come in after everything, we have changed the filters twice now and they are still catching dust. They sent crew after crew to fix things and it seemed that every new day brought a new issue. They moved our washer out of the way and in doing so broke the knob, (a $200 a fix), which we were reimbursed for, but the big thing, is that they tried to glue the knob back on and put the washer back and hope we didnt notice, I noticed when my washer knob was pointed to Delicate but the light for Heavy load was on, then it popped off and a big fat glob of glue was on it. They cut tile in the driveway and cut INTO the concrete with the saw. They completely destroyed our thresholds. Once they laid the tile the thresholds were too tall and the doors wouldnt close, so they literally took a hammer and beat them flat. It looked horrible and there were gaps between the floor and the doors big enough for bugs to come into the house if they liked. Im sure I am forgetting something, but hopefully you get my point. It was a long horrible experience, I hope that nobody else has this much trouble trying to upgrade the floors in their home.
I bought LVT flooring from mill creek a few weeks ago and had it installed last week. Everyone that helped me was really nice and the installers were great as well! My new floors look way better than my old flooring!
I’m so happy with my new floors! Marlon was so helpful picking out my wood & carpet flooring. The installers were on time, friendly, and did a fantastic job. I would strongly recommmend Mill Creek.
Under dated carpet and decades old padding, my home had a secret...beautiful red oak hardwood flooring that needed to be restored to its original glory. Jimmie (and Edgar and Edgars crew) did just that. They finished a day earlier than scheduled. I couldnt be more pleased with the results!
I had a terrific experience with Jennifer Reniers-Kitchens at Mill Creek. She helped me completely renovate my kitchen and I love it! She spent many hours with me finding granite, flooring and a backsplash. The installers were meticulous in completing everything. And I adore my huge sink!
The salesman was super nice in the store. When he came to my home for the free estimate he was still very nice. He kept talking about how he did not have his laser measuring device. He measured twice and gave me different measurements both times. When I asked what my square footage was he stalled. When he finally told me the square footage he still didnt give me the exact number. In the 20 minutes he was at my home he asked me to write a check for the amount of the carpet and install not once, not twice but 3 times and he had not given me a dollar amount.
Mill Creek was a pleasure to work with.from the sales department to the installers, everyone was kind and professional. Our carpet looks fantastic! I would highly recommend Mill Creek for all your flooring needs!
Millcreek did an awesome job on my shower! Richard did an awesome job helping me pick everything out ! The installers did a terrific job!
Did not buy anything from this business due to anti-gun sign on front door.
Kristine did an awesome job for us ! She answered all our question and gave us our dream bathroom !!! The installers were prompt and did a phenomenal job! I can’t recommend millcreek enough !
Please dont do business here go to home depot or lowes, I have return some unuse and un open box of tiles and i already agree to take 50% off of it. Everything I bought here is full price, each box is $36 and after 4 months waiting for the check its still not receiving it and i call the guy at mill creek so many times and text him, dont even call back or at least tell me whats going on. Why you need to do business like that?
Buddy Wynne is so knowledgeable in flooring products, installation process & follow up!His many years of experience are very obvious!
They came to install my carpet last Thursday on 06/16. The job remains incomplete with a transition that is incomplete and is a safety hazard to trip over. Still waiting to complete as of 06/19
