OK, this store is... something. It does have a wide selection of collectibles, action figures and comic book back issues, however there are a few things that REALLY turned me off of the store.- First off, almost all of their back issue comics are at least 25-50% above FMV. I browsed their wall of key issues and a lot of them seemed overpriced. I browed through their boxes of issues too and was surprised at how pricey some were for the condition they were in. Ive been collecting comics for over 20 years and some of the prices were definitely off.- Second, the store is a bit of a mess. Some things are just strewn about the store and some items are covered in thick layers of dust.- Third, OH MY GOD THE SMELL. I have no idea what the heck the smell was, but the place REEKED of some kind of incense or spray or something. Sometimes old comics can have a smell, this was not that, this was something entirely strange and overwhelmingly strong. The smell was so strong I got a headache. Seriously, the smell was awful. The owner/operator seems nice, but the place is not for me. For the smell alone I dont think I will ever go back.
An amazing shop full of fantastic treasures, Chris was especially awesome. Also the dog that roams the facility is incredibly well behaved and a delight.
Insane number of vintage comics on the wall. So much junk everywhere youll likely have to move stuff to look for books. The two shop dogs are calm enough but not overly friendly. Take a close look at what youre buying as prices are not necessarily in line with quality and Ive bought a few books with undisclosed damage. Still, I do love the place!
Great selection of comics, retro toys, retro games, funkos and more. Fair pricing, knowledgeable staff, AND they have shop dogs.
This place is awesome. My kids fell in love the second they walked in the door a few weeks ago. Theyre 19 and 20 by the way. Lol. So many treasures under one roof. Good prices. Great people.
Amazing selection. I dont know how he doesnt drown in all the cool stuff he has. Hes even given me and my best friend free stuff and other deals. The only real downside is most of the games are in cases and you cant see the prices.
The. People that own the shop are fair on there prices. And very nice
This place is awesome everything u could ever want and more everyone is super friendly if it’s not priced then ask stuff that is hard to find come here and it will be here awesome
Pretty cool, but absolutely no cell service inside. Its almost impossible to price check anything.
Great store and even better staff and owner if u a collector of pops, comics or anything cool it’s a must go see 💯💯
I found the Joel and Ellie Funko Pops from The Last Of Us, that I have been trying to look for the last few months. Especially the Joel Funko pop. Excellent service, nice people, good and reasonable prices, the whole nine yards. They have a bunch of comics, games, and collectibles. I’m definitely telling my friends about this place.
Good place to find anything from comics to toys to video games. Will have to hint around but its fun. Employees are helpful. Planning more visits in the future
A great place with alot of stuff I honestly spend money there almost every weekend
Loved the atmosphere, lovely people, great service. Will go again soon. Thank you.
Super friendly and remembers what sorts of collectibles you’re interested in and is always happy to strike up a conversation! Enormous selection of stuff to look through!
Place slaps great variety
I go every week, very home feeling and everyone is always polite!
Amazing Action Comics, Great store, Great people. I highly recommend it.
Great retro gaming collection (Atari, Genesis, GameCube, N64, etc.) mixed in with an incredible supply of comics and figurines. The place is much larger than you expect on the outside and the atmosphere was very relaxed.
Great place with lots of stuff! The proprietor is super helpful and friendly. We are never disappointed by the slection. Always getting new stuff in!
Good prices, cool owners, a bit messy though.
Scored big goo good looking out
Such an awesome store. They have a ton of video games and comics and great prices. They even have a flea market type setup with booths that offers an even larger variety. Love the store. Wish I would have known about it a long time ago. Will definitely be spending a lot of time here.
Its like stepping back into the 90s.I could spend way to much money here.
A great selection of comics and collectables. Prices are great too.
Lots of good stuff there but the pricing is..questionable.
Great selection on toys Games comics... and other ... must see
Great shop, great people. They have practically anything you could want.
Chriss lootopia booth is the best.
Jason really knows his stuff! These guys are personable & friendly. I highly recommend them for all your comic book needs!!
So much stuff but could use a little otganization
Its very vintage, it reminds me of a swap meet in a store! Its great. They are half the price of any other stores in okc that sell anime, oh yeah we were there for anime, Im amazed actually. I wanted a metallic boo, i believe is its name, but they had so much more to come from, my child got 3 she likes for a collection. It was really awesome
So... Much... Content!!! I love it
This place is amazing. The best place to shop. They actually reunited me with my grade school lunch box. Seriously, my clash of the titans lunchbox from when I was 8. It somehow made its way through time and ended up in this shop. I of course, bought it immediately. Thank you for keeping it safe.
Best place to go if you are any type of nerd!
Biggest selection of back issues in OKC, as well as a huge wall of fairly-priced keys. If youve never been, just FYI they dont sell new comics. The store can be a bit messy at times since they have so much stock, but the owners have never had issues with me moving stuff aside to dig through some boxes. The owner is very friendly and is always willing to negotiate.
Love coming here, highly recommend they are friendly and have alot of good stuff.
We drove down from Tulsa, Amazing action comic is a awesome store. The prices for comic and vintage is fantastic. We spent at least an hour and we still did not have enough time to look at all the stuff he had. The owner is very friendly and helpful. Overall the guy is awesome. We are planning to go back this coming Sunday. Highly recommended!!!
Incredible place! All the guys there are fantastic and I love the selection. Great deals on rare games and amibos. If you like Funko Pops! then you wont be disappointed. All the old toys are cool and make me feel like Im walking through old commercials.Anthony and Leo have a fantastic selection of amibos and they will even keep an eye out for specific one for you. They also have a great anime figure selection.
Amazing store full of retro and collectible games and more for even the most hardcore of us.I travel all around the US, but this place is special!
Awesome collectible figure, comic and video game shop. Dudes got a little of everything and is willing to cut a decent deal. A lot of hard to find stuff in stock.
My favorite store in OKC!
I have been here a few times now. The first time I went in I was just checking it out to see what it was and what type of items they had. I didnt end up buying anything, but there was zero pressure to buy. I have been back and purchased multiple items on a few occasions. Most of what I was looking for was priced reasonably. When I make larger purchases, they will normally negotiate with me as long as what I am asking is reasonable.
Amazing Action Comics is one of Oklahoma Citys hidden gems. This is an incredible store for comic book fans, toy collectors or anyone wanting to reminisce about their childhood. The store has comic books, toys and other memorabilia. Jason, the owner, is great to chat with. He is very knowledgeable in these areas. Jason is also excellent to work with; he is fair and will cut you great deals. Jason is also the artist responsible for great art on the exterior walls of his store. Come check this place out. You will be glad you did.
Love this place! Like a little heaven. Owner is awesome and fair. Cant wait to visit again and buy more goodies.
Great people and prices.
Cool place... when they bother to open shop.Wide array of items, which is both good and bad. You will likely find something interesting here, but youll have to search hard for it. The word overstocked comes to mind. Too many items and not enough space inside the store, causing the whole place to look like a rummage sale full of junk. The one time I was able to actually go inside, the guy running the shop was incredibly friendly and had most everything priced fairly. I have made 4 trips to this location, and only 1 of those times they were open for business (and each visit was made during posted business hours, mind you.)Basically, its a neat little shop that could use a bit of tidying up. My biggest complaint is the apparently obscure hours. Instead of posting times, the owner really just needs a sign that says open when I feel like it.
Awesome place! So many treasures. Place was bigger than expected. Mom and pop feel to the place. Loved it!
Bought a bunch of stuff and it was all reasonably priced. Wish they had the batman who laughs but I was satisfied
Jason has a huge assortment of comic books and a wide array of toys to choose from. And hell work with you on prices.
This IS my comic shop. Doesnt carry the new stuff so if you are looking for something that just came out last week they wont have it. If you are looking for something from1970-1990 they probably will have it and at a reasonable price. If you go in there understanding this you will love this comic shop.
A great mix old toys, old comics, and old video games.
Amazing place, great people
Jason and Dave have an impressive volume of video games, comic books, action figures and miscellaneous other stuff. In their new storefront, they have room to display most of it. If you dont see what your looking for, let them know.. Theyre pretty good at finding stuff.
Very great place to find all your comic needs.
Im not sure... I didnt go to the comic book store. I went next door to a night club. For a friends birthday party. I had a blast there though. It was lit! Kool people, good food, plenty of games, even a bar & poofing area. Ok lets be honest, the whole club was a poofing area lol. But some reason my phone says I go to places I havent been. Which isnt a problem yet. At least until it says I go to some weird stuff, like cult meetings, adult stores, McDonalds, Disney on ice or any other craziness.
Looked like a nice place through the window, but we stopped by today as per their hours listed on google for Sundays, open at 10 AM. Apparently, they actually open at noon on Sundays, and I suggested an edit to the times listed here. Annoyingly, they also have an open/close sign on their door that was still flipped to open despite their being closed- would have been nice if after driving all that way to the shop, if wed at least hadnt had to get out of the car in the cold just to discover the place was actually still closed until noon. Its not really in the nicest part of town, and quite a drive from us, not sure if Id go back.
This comic book store is a really nice, friendly, and clean invironment. The only thing I was about about is that I didnt wake up early enough for free comic book day to get the issue I wanted.
Tons of cool stuff all around. Comic books and graphic novels, toys, models, video games, shirts, and any other pop-culture type thing you could want was in here. I found things I didnt know existed (Willow action figures, the 80s movie, not the Buffy spin-off)The people there were super friendly and were happy to help and talk to my son and me without being snobby like a lot of places like this can be (like Comic Book Guy from The Simpsons, lol). They let my son swap in on the video game they were playing. If people go the extra mile for my son they have my devotion, even more than the service I get (which was top notch also). The shop dog was a big friendly meatball also.I went there to kill time (awesome place for that) but I will definitely go back to buy (probably too much) stuff when I can.
Best place in town if youre looking for a good deal. The owner is really friendly and has the best prices around.
Awesome selection!
Really cool store. They have all kinds of different vintage toys
Amazing staff. Can get lost trying to find that perfect comic.
I want to go here I just never had the chance to but it looks nice
From comics to toys, movies to posters, they have everything!!
Inconvenient
Best shop in OKC. Jason knows how to grade AND actually uses the guide. Golden Age, Silver Age & Bronze Age everywhere! Fair prices. Great assortment of vintage toys too.Ask Tank the bulldog for a deal. Hell hook you up.If its too cluttered or unorganized for you go see the crook at New World and get cheated
Cool place, cool staff! Tons of comics, toys and video games.
Awesome service funny owner great vintage toys and comics. Best place in town.
Love iit place where my son can have fun
You can find what your looking for...awesome staff
If you are looking for amazing one of a kind new and vintage toys and comics hit them up owner is an awesome man
A whole lotta comic books, action figures vintage items, the owner will buy, sell or trade. Great place if your a guy!
Very diverse store with new and vintage toys, comics and video games.
This is the best store in OKC right now. There are tons of long-boxes to look through, and you dont have the owner eBay pricing every dollar comic he has. Not much silver or older books, but he will work with you on prices and knows how to grade.
Great place. Large selection and good deals
They have everything Comic books games many different collectables they are very helpful and friendly including their Mascot Tank hes such a loveable pup!!!!!!
Good experience. Specially in comodity od friends and coworkers.
This place has a lot to choose from!!!! Lots of comic boom, playing cards, Video games, and action figures. You have to go here in order to see it all...
Awesome so much to see. WOW.so cool
Lots of comics and retro games. My daughter loves this place for the comic selection.
This store was a wreck. It was dark, messy, and very uncomfortable to be in. They had some cool stuff but it was hard to look at anything because of how disorganized it was. I went to check out the old lunch boxes and there was literally a pile of trash in the middle of the doorway towards the back of the store. The staff seemed friendly once we went to talk to them but didnt bother getting out of their seats when we walked in. A lot of things werent priced and there was no organization to the store.
The owner was really nice, I thought he was closed but he actually came to the door, good prices and will work with you on price, will differently come back
The pricing is always fair and you wont find better trade values elsewhere! The staff is personable and will help you find what youre looking for.
Found what I was looking for.
Love shopping here, and great prices!
Loved it
Good prices great selection
Donations only, but the admission is a lil far-fetched for donated items in a museum...
Moderate selection of comics, but a great collection of previous generations of games like ps1/2/3 or Xbox/360 games. Many collectable items as well.
Awesome place for comics in action figures
Awesome place for comics in action figures in toys
Not the best location, but the owner is super nice.
Hit up Jason, dude always gives you a great price
Awesome place!!! And the owners are super nice and polite!!
Talk about a selection!!! If you like vintage toys and comics, this is a must store to shop in.
Quite a collection
Hands down, the best comic book shop in the metro.
Great selection of new and vintage
