Giving one star is actually pretty generous, considering the Open sign was not on, leaving us unsure if the store was actually open for business or not. I mention this because we’ve actually been to this location 3 times, when their Google page said they’d be open, only to find they were actually closed. When we walked into the store, we were the only people there, there were 2 men behind the counter with their backs turned to us and it seemed as if one was going through a training manual with the other. We stood waiting to be acknowledged for several long minutes before deciding to take our business elsewhere. Retailer Pro-tip GameStop: Take care of the customer!

I bought a headset for $200 dollars and it wasn’t worth it so I returned it, they gave me my money but charged me again the next day and now my card account is negative and has been for months. Spoke to a few people and one lady seemed to care but eventually told me the same thing..”take this reference number and give it to your bank” or “call this number back in 5 days etc etc” I just want my money.The whole $200.24 Wished the management cared enough to solve this instead of basically telling me to solve it myself. They sure didn’t need me when they stole my $200 a few MONTHS ago****UPDATE*****Went in today and the female manager was working with a black eye most likely from domestic abuse plus she’s mid 30s maybe 40 working in a video game store... These people do not make good life choices so don’t expect them to care about you. Lol heal up baby girl God Bless

So I live pretty close to this gamestop for sometime. I usually just try NOT and go to that gamestop because they never really have anything. Meaning never really have anything good! If youre looking for controllers or just need help with general assistance yeah youll have that one person but most of the time its either people talking or either hiding in the backroom like we dont notice. Tbh we only notice because of the most recent time I went, I waited in line no wait my friend waited in line because I stopped waiting to pass time by, by looking at stuff the store. There was one guy in front he was dealing with a customer trying to trade and buy everything! I dont mind waiting but for the amount of time waiting I and my friend waited for was ridiculous. We waiting in line for a good solid 30 mins for no reason. The best part is when the guy upfront was finished thats when. They all came from the back to help by that time it was nobody in the store. Not because they were helped but because they got tired of waiting! The killing part now is that I called the store way before I even type this review, to ask for help because I didnt want to waste my time going up to the store because I knew that would be a waste of time. I ask the employee could he help me find a product, because their store NEVER have anything. I been on hold for over 30+ mins and still waiting. 😩🥲 I wanna have faith in this gamestop or the whole company in general but I given up, This store is only good for trying to upsell and put in half hearted effort. I cant say for all but most definitely. Youll find one good employee in that whole store and I bet you its the one by themselves. I do not recommend this store. 😐P.S: I was never helped and still was on hold this entire time.

The guy that help me was Ryan, great guy. I had a ton of questions he answered them all and we had a few games we like to play that were in common. I really enjoyed my visit and will go out of my way to shop at that particular store again.

The employees here have a horrible attitude, one time I walked in the store and it smelt like pot in their back room. It would be a good idea to check these guys from the top down, and tell their employees to smoke on their personal time.

This place has great customer service and one of the better selections for a GameStop but it smells awful and has for the last 4 years... it flooded 4 years ago and they definitely should’ve pulled up and re-did the flooring (i am a certified water mitigation technician) they haven’t an every time I’m in there it smells of mold and mildew HEAVY and I can’t spend more than 7 minutes in there before feeling sick

I called multiple times in the weeks leading up to my pre-order release, including the day of, and was told I had to pick up my game AT 9pm for the early release. I arrive at the door at 9:03pm and was told the system was already shut down.Now I understand that the store closes at 9 but why tell me youre having a 9pm early release and that I the game would be available AT 9pm for pick up, if you were going to close anyways!?!? And if I pulled up at 9:03pm you were obviously already closed before 9pm.

Went to this location to attempt to return a Playstation card that when we attempted to scratch off the code, it was illegible. The employee who assisted me was rude. Digital products are non-returnable and shut the door in my face. Learn some manners or dont work with the public.

Not much to choose from. I was disappointed on selection. My son was able to find a toy from his favorite youtuber... but the guys working were non responsive mostly. And, it was musty in there.

GameStop is a first-class place to go if you are looking for games and game playing accessories. Every time we pass by one, my son wants to go in and look around. Even if he doesnt want to buy, he just likes to see whats new because you never know what might hit your fancy. Give him a try. I think youll like them.

Trusted the employees knew what they were talking about. I lost my power cord to my xbox 360. Was told there was only one xbox360 power cord for the original. Didnt have one said it would be easy to order one from Amazon. I asked if there was anything special I needed to know. He said there was only one. Would be easy no problems. GUESS WHAT- he was wrong. Now because I trusted your employees expertise I am out $40Beware they have no idea what they are talking about and dont care if they told you something wrong. To paraphrase them- its not their issue.

A friend bought an xbox one controller a few weeks ago and decided to return/exchange it for a DualShock 4 controller from this location. We did exchange for a preowned controller since it was a little cheaper. We got it back home and placed it on a charger while we were eating. We went to use it and the thing wouldn’t power on unless plugged into a charger.We decided to again exchange the controller but at the penn square location. When we returned exchanged the controller at Penn Square Mall GameStop the employee asked where we bought it. We told him and he said “Yeah that store is terrible”. Seems inappropriate to say that about your companies other stores.

Terrible Experience. I am 28 and have been a lifelong Gamestop customer...not any more. I renewed my membership with them and in turn received a buy 2 used items and get 1 used item free coupon. I redeemed it buy paying for 2 $50 games and getting 1 $36 game free. I went to this location to return the $36 game for something else(you get 7 days to do so). The team leader was very rude and would not let me trade it in for any game that exceeded the $36..even though anything under $50 wouldve met the equal or lesser value standard. She informed me that I would have to pay the difference. Which is ridiculous to me considering they would not pay ME the difference if I chose a game under $36. Instead of even trying to be helpful by asking someone or picking up the phone, I was shrugged off with the thats just the way it is comment. Easy enough.....I returned all of the games and will be making my purchases and trade ins with Best Buy from now on.

You guys ripped me off! I bought the Call of Duty Legacy Edition from them which includes Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. That is two, not one, but two games. I went to the checkout and paid full price, but the terrifyingly rude staff only gave me Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare but not Modern Warfare. I politely told the girl working there that she had forgotten the other game, but she didnt care, she just threatened to ban me! So I ask you, why do you train your staff to rip kids off on Christmas?

It’s release date, and we have gotten 3 different answers on what was going on, told not to trade in until we came back to pick it up, went back and dropped the price $60. The MANAGER of the store literally said, “there was too much going on this morning, she really didn’t know what she was doing”Are you kidding me?!? She had a line this morning and we let her check all 6 people out before handling us so that she could take her time, and make sure. This isn’t our first time and wanted everything to be tip top!This is the last time we will be buying ANYTHING from this GAME STOP! Incompetent people working there on release dates is ridiculous. Lack of communication even worse... AND THEN TO TELL ME THAT BASICALLY IM NOT AS IMPORTANT AS ANYBODY ELSE BY SAYING YOU WERE BUSY AND SHE DIDNT KNOW...NEVER AGAIN!!! Shockingly, my husband has always been an avid supporter of GameStop and been going there since he was a kid, and he is more mad than I am! I dont shop for games nearly as much as I used to because I dont play as much anymore. But the checkout process is incredibly slow. Last time there had to make an executive decision: take my little boy to go pee or wait another 10 minutes for the person in front of me to be checked out. ✌

Came in to ask about a hard drive I bought not even 2 months ago and it stopped working and all she would say is we only warranty for 30 days no matter what you buy from here their warranty will always be less than youve had it. They wont fix anything or even attempt to help you out. Your just throwing money away buying things from this place.

This is my first review ever, the two people working there tonight are very unprofessional they are rude to most of the customers. There was a young kid there asking questions he was very nice to them never one smart word from the kids mouth he always said yes sir no sir. They were still rude to him. I felt so bad for that kid. We have been shopping at Game stop for years. I have been to this one twice they have acted the same way both times. My and I family will never go back to that game stop again. This is the only way to solve the problem.

Horrendous service at the Quail Springs location in Oklahoma City tonight! We simply wanted to trade in one console for another and the two employees working spent more time repeatedly questioning our decision than they did actually processing our transaction. A customer should never have to justify their reasons for spending money at your business. From now on, well just give our money and business to retailers who would rather take our money with a smile and keep their condescending attitudes to themselves.
