All Star is a great shop, wonderful location, super helpful and friendly staff. What an amazing selection! So glad to see that they are requiring masks while the CDC is recommending them indoors. Its a weird time and I am happy to support small businesses like this that want to support both their staff and the youth that frequently haunt this type of business. Cant wait t get my subscriptions started!

When we moved to Oklahoma in 2018 we struggled to find a comic book shop we liked and felt comfortable and welcomed. We happened upon All Star Comics when it was in its old location and have been visiting every week since. Not only is the staff knowledgeable, they make you feel welcome. Their prices are inline with the market and I have never felt like I’ve overpaid. The store is bright and has plenty of comics for all interests. You can add their subscription service so you’ll never miss your favorite books.

The owner/manager is polite, quiet, reasonable and helpful. The small staff is familiar with the shops stock and can provide product feedback. The pull list subscription service serves most special needs very well. No one is going to manipulate customers into making bad purchases. A reliable, likable small business.

This place is awesome! The staff is always kind, patient, and welcoming. I think this is a perfect shop for longtime comic lovers (they have a great system for pulllists) and for those looking to get into comics/ just starting out. I’d highly recommend them!

Just drove clear across town to bring my grandson to check out the store. Walked in and turned around and left. Was required to wear a mask and won’t do it again. I got Covid while wearing a mask. I have no trust that a mask is going to protect me, and you shouldn’t either. I was told if I got the vaccine, which I did, I wouldn’t have to wear a mask. All lies.

If you are looking for comics, this is the place to go! The manager Jeremy is so helpful and the selection is vast. Tons of $1 back issues.

I know Im way behind on this, but All Star has moved locations. The new location is brighter and bigger than the old store and full of good stuff! The old place has still not removed the sign, but dont be fooled. Just head up the road a bit. Youll be happy you did. Support your local comic store!

Bought about $80 worth of comics. I went in search of very specific issues and the owner was very helpful in finding them all even picked up a couple variant covers. Super clean well organized. It was hard not buy more, he had so much good stuff!!

Staff was so kind. Employee did not move from near the window to watch our bicycles while we shopped and gave us useful information leading to us finding what we were looking for! HUGE selection of Marvel and DC comic books at reasonable resale prices. Had a huge IDW Transformers section with a whole lot of awesome, quality comics. Please visit the store! Its awesome!

This store has a great selection of back issues, as well as new issues. I especially enjoy browsing their $1 boxes to find bargains. They also have a fun selection of action figures and toys. The staff seems nice and friendly. One of the best thing about the store that they regularly have great sales! One reason I awarded four instead of five stars are because the long boxes are on tables that are too tall for a 5 4 person to comfortably reach the back of without standing on tiptoes. The other reason is because I dont really understand the organization scheme for the back issues. I realize asking the staff would likely clarify that issue, but I prefer to navigate stores without assistance from staff. Regardless, this is a very good comic store and I recommend a visit to anyone in the area.

Great customer service from these guys! It was my first time buying comics and I was a bit out of my realm. I was looking for any comic with a particular character in it and they were able to find several comics/issues where the character appeared. These ranged from 20 year old comics to a few recent ones. Very happy with their selection and help; it was a good first experience.

This is my go-to local comic book store. All of the people that work there are very helpful and kind. I order books through them weekly and if they dont have it in stock they try and order it for you. They have a great selection of comics and a lot other really cool pop culture collectibles.

My dad and I have been going to this comic store for a little over a year. The owner is almost always there and he is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about any comic you are looking for. Best shop in the city.

Great store with very friendly staff! I went there today for free comic book day and was not disappointed. They had 15 different titles available for free that were hanging in racks with signs to advertise that they were the free ones. They also have a full line of both DC and MARVEL titles.

Ive been attending All-Star for over a year now and under the new management I have found this establishment to be the best at customer service and product in their industry in the metro. I invite anyone to attend any of their competitors in the OKC area and you will find yourself returning to Norm and his establishment. With his recently upgraded digital check out system, Im given a receipt with a list of the product Ive purchased instead of just a standard receipt with only a total. This helps with tracking what Ive purchased and easier for cataloging.Norms team is always friendly and very welcoming as they greet me and others new and old every Wednesday for comic book day and makes recommendations on new issues he enjoys and is honest about the ones hes not very excited about. Hes a fair businessman and has only the customers satisfaction as his intentions.If anyone feels unrecognized in this business, its only because the All-Star team considers your space when shopping. If you feel lost in the store, just ask and maybe make suggestions as to how to assist new customers when walking around the store. The All-Star team is very open to suggestions and have considered a few of mine.Theyre the only comic book store in the metro that I know have weekly contests and are willing to promote the industry for them and their competitors through social media.

I bounced between a few comic books stores for a while, but I can proudly say that All-Star is my store of choice now. Hands-down. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely fun. Wyll has helped me find SEVERAL titles that I would like--and he has helped steer me away from a couple of titles that I might not appreciate as much. The staff takes great care to learn what their customers like to follow. After only a month or so of frequenting the store, the owner actually set aside a specific comic for me--simply because he knew that I would really value it. Now, I look forward to my weekly visits for more than just the comics (though their selection is great). I love the experience of a store that is clean and professional, but also friendly and inviting. Keep it up, All-Star!

My go to for everything comics. Norm and Rob run a top notch store. There is always a friendly atmosphere. Everyone working there makes sure all customers are taken care of. Norm is a encyclopedia of comic book knowledge. All star offers subscription service also. In 3 years i havent missed a book yet. Proud to call it my LCS.

I have been to most of the comic book stores in and around Oklahoma City area. This one seems to have the largest selection of new comics, TPBS and back issues. The girl working was extremely friendly and helpful, Even when she thought I was not buying any thing and leaving (really I was just getting my wallet) she was sure to say thanks for coming and have a nice day.

This is frankly the best comic book store in Oklahoma City, over the years I have bought comics from Atomic Comics, DragonFyre Comics, New World Comics and Atomic Pop. The first two stores are no longer with us but the other two still are. I live less then a mile from Atomic Pop but I will drive all the way from the far south side of Oklahoma City to All-Star Comics. They have a great selection of comic books, action figures and other collectibles. The staff is friendly and helpful, they respect your space but if you ask they will gladly help.

Recently moved to Oklahoma City from New Orleans. In New Orleans I had an amazing Comic shop (Media Underground Comics). Back home I was always greeted as soon as I walked in the door even if the clerk was busy, the shop was always clean and organized and if you look like you needed help you would receive it. All Star Comics was far from any of these things. I made 3 very slow laps around the very unorganized store, not once was I acknowledged by the two clerks that were doing nothing. Not only were there open boxes of toys just sitting on shelves in a pile but there was no recognizable order to the comics on the shelves pretty disappointed considering this is the closest comic shop to my new home.

For everyone reading this review please note that I do not live in Oklahoma City. I live in Stillwater so therefore I am used to a small city comic store environment. That being said this store is a good one for what you get. You have a great selection to choose from and anyone working there is more than willing to help you find whatever it is you need. There is only one thing that bugs me about this store in particular, and its only in this store that Ive noticed it. These days comics are sold in a plastic cover with a backboard (usually), though some of the older comics might just have the plastic cover. While going through the comics today I noticed this stores prices where twice as high as my local stores prices. This wouldnt necessarily be a problem being a big city store and all, but then I noticed what you were getting for the extra price. At my local store a recent comic with cover and board would cost you around three dollars (before tax), while at this store the same thing would cost you around six or seven dollars. I looked some more and the same type of comic WITHOUT a board is the average three dollars an issue. I understand Im paying extra for the service of them putting in boards and such...but twice the cost of the comic normally? I do not see that as good business, honestly. I suggest anyone who is adamant about going to this store and making it your go-to store for comics, buy the comics with just the covers and buy your own boards. It will save you a lot of money in the long run. Still, like I said, great selection and friendly service, just flawed marketing and business.

Pretty nice shop, some good discounted items, great location. However the owner has been really rude to me every time Ive been in. Ive heard lots of horror stories about the way hes treated others too. One time he asked me what I read and when I mentioned deadpool, he acted like I was an idiot, rolled his eyes and asked why, not at all in a joking way. He was always nice to my friend I came in with, but my friend had a pull list, so it seems unless he already has your money, he doesnt care to be nice.The other employees Ive dealt with were very friendly, but the owner ruined it for me. I come to All-Star Comics about once a month to get a few trades. Every time I have gone to the store, a staff member has greeted me immediately, regardless of how crowded the store is.The staff is very polite, helpful, and knowledgeable regarding comic books. I cannot recommend this store highly enough.

All Star Comics is an awesome place to pick up comics and graphic novels. New and back issues on hand with a few manga thrown in for good measure. Knowledgeable and laid back staff always makes my weekly stop in feel great, having my subs ready, talking story points, suggesting new comics, or just talking moives or t.v. shows. Highly recommend stopping by.

I have a favorite comics store but one day on my lunch break decided to walk in and just look around a second, mostly looking for / at things besides actual comic books. Action figures etc. Well I guess having been at a particularly rough job all day had me looking more construction worker, less comic book fan and I guess because of that I wasnt even greeted, or asked any kind of questions. I did hear a few unprofessional comments.In the end I decided to leave and never return. I spend a retarded amount of money on comics and collectibles, but I work hard for a living.

Like the comic book shop. I liked it when Wyll owned it and I like it now that Norman owns it. I have been coming to this comic book shop for 4 years now. I have bought the first appearances of Gambit, Blob,Cable,Carnage,Venom,Deadpool,Juggernaunt,Jubilation Lee, Bishop,Alpha Flight,Ras Al Ghoul,Talia, as well as Transformers#1, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles#3,Avengers#1,and first appearances of Scarlet Witch,Quicksilver,and Toad. I usually load up on the $1 comics. There is a wide selection of $1 comics. They have t shirts and toys. I subscribe to a few titles and send comic books to CGC through the shop. The shop has bags and boards and long boxes. There is Golden and Silver Age comic books there. And Marvel, D.C, Dark horse,IDW titles available. There is also kids comic books too.

Great location, great service. Too often Comic shop owners act elitest, The management here seemed very friendly, Helped me try and find a back issue, but I also watched as he explained to a not very knowledgable guy where the best place to start reading superman might be. Also he let me cut in line because I wore a Green Lantern shirt and you cant beat that service. (Granted the guy infront of me was a friend of his)
