A really neat place to browse around if you are looking for role playing games and comics. Great selection on new and back issue comics. It is worth the look.

Just moved back to Oklahoma from Georgia and was glad to see Okcs best Comic and game shop is still going strong! Ill be in to see you as soon as I can, Tom my old friend! Ive known Tom Curtis for years and hes always been a solid friend and loves the business hes in.Thanks Tom!

Shop is much more organized than in years past. Most comics are priced with price stickers. Good to see Tom again after a couple of years.

This is a great place to go for table top gaming! There is an excellent community of players there who will definitely teach you to play.

From playing magic there back in highschool, to getting back into warhammer with my eldest child recently, this store has always been amazing! Great owner and employees, with a great community always willing to help or teach. Always having fun events from paint and takes to free comic days, theres always a reason to head up to this shop!

Comics and non electronic games galore! The store is kind of disorganized but the owner can find anything he claims to have. Has the staples. Comics Marvel, DC and some indie titles. Lots of games D&D, Pathfinder, and other RPGs. Huge Games Workshop selection, if thats your game. Dozens of board and card games. Not counting Magic and Pokemon.

Best RPG game and Comic store around. Tom is friendly, helpful, and always polite. He doesnt bombard you as soon as you enter his store. He allows you to look around before asking if you need any help and doesnt hound you if your ready to check out. Toms staff assists him regularly and will offer help if needed.They have daily events going on and vending machines for snacks/drinks. Fridays and Saturdays are there big game nights, so it does get crowded quickly. Sunday they offer a painting event for new comers and experienced alike for $10.00He offers a verity of items ranging from comics, posters, collectables, table top miniatures, board games, card games, dice, mats, to painting for miniatures.I have been to other shops all over Oklahoma City and the experience Ive received is always as just another consumer, not a fellow gamer. As a result Ive been a regular with Tom since 1996.It doesnt matter if you starting out or been in it for years, the gamers there will welcome you and show you the ropes. Politeness, respectfulness, and courteousness is all thats asked and they will show you the same.

Great place to find non electronic games. RPGs, tabletop war games, board games, dice, miniatures, comics, etc. Busiest on Friday nights and sometimes Saturdays.

Got there right as the store opened to get some pictures and stuff within an hour the place was full of gamers and everyone was super nice. Highly recommend this store if youre interested in table top gaming or RPGs.

Was my first gaming store I went to back in 1995, Tom was helpful then and still is. Great selection of Comics, board games, latest editions of MTG and pokemon, probably the biggest selection of Warhammer 40k and Sigmar in the OKC area.

Excellent service and knowledgeable staff. They had a large variety of games and comics as well as playable space for gaming. This establishment is covid concious with safety measures in place.

Great staff and loads of merch

Sadly, when we arrived on Wednesday, Jan 20, 2021 at noon the store was closed, despite posted hours being from 12-6pm. So, thinking they were a bit late opening, we went for a burger and came back at 1pm and waited until 1:30pm. Still closed with no note as to why or contact number. I watched two other vehicles with patrons come and go after checking the door. Too bad really, as this was our first visit and my son was really looking forward to checking out the store. 😔

Each time I have called and asked for Talisman expansions they never have them. Game HQ always does. :/

Old stock (2012 calendars) still priced as new. Dusty, dirty, and if you happen to go on a gaming night forget about getting help with anything.

Some of the items on display I was told belong to the owner. There are no signs saying what is and is not for sale so thats confusing. This is a main reason I did not give higher stars. Having prices and whats for sale easily shown is very helpful for shoppers.

This is a great place to play MTG Casually with other patrons and to play some commander. They also have 50 cent sodas in their machine, sell board games, comics, art, paper and dice games and cards. They also have donuts on fridays which is nice if you need a small sugar boost. Plus the owner is really nice. If you want a nice place to hang out, this is a good one. Its a mostly chill atmosphere and feels more like an odd family than just a store.

Good selection of current RP materials and tabletop kits, and an exhaustive collection of comics. The used RP selection is a bit thin (which I realize is totally preference). So, if thats not your thing, consider this a clean, good-smelling, 5-star place.

Heavy on comic books, Warhammer, and other figurines. Light selection on card games, but offers tables to play.

The clerk was extremely helpful in picking out paint for my figures.

Really good experience here! Pretty small place yet very roomy. Im from out of town, so I to go to a lot of different card/comic stores. I think this store has a very friendly atmosphere, its a nice place to casually play MTG with the locals. I got into a game as soon as I set my stuff down on one of the tables. On top of that the prices were very reasonable.

Stopped by here to look at miniatures and had a chance to meet the owner. He is friendly and helpful. His store is well stocked with a lot of table space to play games. Sells comics, collectable, miniatures, board games and more. Also offers a military discount for active duty and veterans which I greatly appreciate.

Now, this is just my personal opinion: New World Games & Comics is Okay (3 stars). My rating is based almost entirely on the fact that what the store provides is different from what I was really looking for (board games). They have a small collection of board games for sale, but they have a lot of comics, and if youre into games involving miniatures, such as Warhammer 40,000, this is your place.So dont let my 3-star rating discourage you from checking out New World Games & Comics, but if this is your first visit, now you have an idea of what you will find in the store.

Great store! The owner was friendly and knowledgeable. Their play spaces look comfortable and large. I even found some good bones miniatures for my next campaign that I had never seen before.

Fun place great staff and has a amazing cozy atmosphere yet the inside is large and the staff were extremely friendly.

Had to give one star but would have rather none. We are now in the parking lot leaving but we came in to talk comic books because I was willing to spend a couple hundred on one if they could find it but no one had the time to assist us. Everyone was tooooo busy to get up from their dice game to help. Not one person greeted us or asked if we needed help. Couldnt even tell who actually worked here since no one even looked up. VERY disappointed in our shopping experience. We are serious gamers (D&D, Magic, etc) and would have liked to maybe consider this to be our new gaming place since we just moved here. I miss our old gaming store. They were ALWAYS happy to see people come in and get them involved in gaming and comics. This place was less then inviting. You just lost out on a couple hundred in just one sell of one comic.

This place impressed my die hard comic/table top game family. Way better than any comic shop from the west coast, hands down. There were people damn near larping in their groups. You have to engage people and show interest for the groups to open up, but when they do, they are the best people to play games with. A very chill, no pressure place.

This is my favorite place to get comics. I love the owner. He is fun to talk to, and he always helps me meet my comic book needs!

Absolutely fantastic store, theres always some sort of game going on and the guys in there are ready to help people get into comics, DnD, or Magic. The place is pretty laid back and just a cool place to hang out and buy comics and games.

This is a great little game and comic shop. They have a huge selection of new and back comic issues along with role playing games, toys, and minatures. They also have game nights on Friday and Saturday, its a nice social experience. Ill be going back often.

Keep in mind Im new to comic books and comic book stores so I dont have much to compare this store to but it felt disorganized and not so welcoming.

Super friendly comic store with a good selection. Ive been to many but this is now my go-to for weekly purchases. They have a fair selection of gaming items, as well.

Ive always loved this place. They keep on top of new items, almost always have people inside doing something. Friday and Saturdays always have people playing their respective games.

This is a cool awesome spot to go checkout. This was my first time in there and Im sure Ill be returning again soon. Easy to find and store set is nice to follow.

The first time we went in you could hardly get through the door it was so crowded. The noise level was ridiculous & the customer base smelled. Additionally it was not obvious who even worked there. I spent 20 mins talking to a guy who acted like it was his store only to find out hes just a regular there.A week ago I tried calling during business hours. Rang 15 times & no one answered. So I pmed on Facebook. Asked about a couple of specific paints I was trying to find. Was told yes they had one of them. I drive there only to find out they dont even carry it let alone have it in stock.The owner/employee told me its likely out of production but it is not. Just not overly popular. But its not like he came over to ask me to begin with. I was looking for a good 5-10 minutes within his eye shot before he simply hollered across the room if I needed help.Despite a further drive, my business goes to Game HQ over these guys

Fantastic source for comics, RPGs Dungeons & Dragons, Warhammer 40, and Warhammer supplies. Lots of gaming tables for warhammer with nice terrain. They also have Titans on display from 40k.
