Bait and switch tactics. I called and speced out a part they had. I called twice to confirm they had it. Sent my partner to get it and they told her they didnt have it and told her the only option was a more expensive model. 😡

Very helpful staff. I had an emergency as I was looking for my work laptops power adapter during my trip to OKC. I had forgotten the power adapter back home. And having Dell laptop which is painful to find a replacement power cable, the staff was able to find and test good universal adapter. They even offered me that they will take it back if it does not work.Great service. Will definitely recommend.

Charles built me a custom PC and its great! Had to take it back because it was getting too hot initially, but he had warned me that could be a possibility. We found a cooling solution and he got it installed in a day. Now I have no issues at all, and I know where to go if I need any upgrades in the future. Thanks!

Scalping graphics cards. Originally talked to sales associate to purchase a EVGA 3080 TI graphics card for $1599 ($200 over MSRP) which I agreed to. Called back and they said they have to sell it for $1,899 due to shipping costs! Your telling me it cost an additional $300 for shipping? I even said to the guy that those are above scalper prices and he agreed! Lol guess Ill just buy one off eBay or Facebook for $1800.

A little overpriced. But friendly and did amazing work got my repairs and upgrades done in less then a day. So you get what you pay for would go again when I need another upgrade.

Everything is overpriced. Extremely. 6 year old laptops at near retail prices. Please, do everyone a favor and buy what you need from Best Buy less than a mile away, or buy from Amazon. This company capitalizes on the fact there are no PC part stores in OKC, and take advantage of unsuspecting people. Rude staff. If you like giving money to scammers, this is the place to go.

Kevin the manager was so incredibly rude to us. Fees are not up front. We called and emailed with questions and go no reply for over a month. Came back in, manager said well the email doesnt actually go to me... It was his company email that his employees gave to us when we had a concern. Customer service is just bad. They did a 20 minute diagnostic, said they couldnt fix it, and then said they wouldnt give our laptop back unless we paid them $100. No diagnostic fee discussed when we brought it to them. Manager said we should have assumed there was a diagnostic fee. Please avoid this business.Replying to owners response: I hear what you are saying. I work in the service industry as well. Yes, communicating fees clearly is really important. If we missed the fee in what we signed that is definitely on us. Yet, by service what are you meaning? You texted us 20 minutes later and said you couldnt fix it. This is not worth $100 to us as a customer. If you are implying that this is an unreasonable expectation that is surprising. The majority of businesses Ive ever brought anything to do not charge a diagnostic fee at all, but especially not for something they quickly realize they cant service. Specifically regarding computers my understanding is that Geek Squad gives a free diagnostic. You also did not acknowledge that we tried calling and emailing to address this for over a month and were rude when we came to address it in person. We are pretty reasonable people. Give this shop a chance!! They are super knowledgeable and kind. They only sell graphic cards at that price to have them available for there customers. Ditch the big box chain and support small time computer stores like this. We will be back for sure!

Scalping graphics cards at first, now they added more parts to their scalping RepertoireRyzen 5 5600 reg $299 - $600 at this store1650 GPU reg $199 - $599 this store another was like $1100Asked for a 3060 - 3070 GPU reg. $400/$650 - here they didn’t have any but where getting some in a few days (begin of April) guy over the phone said $1200 then guy at the desk said $1400Motherboards they only had a few and it I can’t remember exactly what they had but it was something crazy like $600 alsoDrove to Dallas and picked everything up at retail price (+ discounts) from micro-center(totally worth the drive and gas) unfortunately they didn’t have GPUs at the time but everything else for a full build they had including peripherals, I recommend reserving your parts on the micro-center website they will pull everything aside and hold it for you except GPU and some CPU but if you see the website says 25+ or whatever number they have that’s real time, they literally update their inventory every 10 minutes and they are selling 1cpu/GPU per household trying to prevent scalping.

Was on the lookout for a entry level gaming PC and I found this place. They were incredibly helpful and patient with me and built me a wonderful rig that which the only complaint I have is that I didnt have enough space built into it. Would recommend it to anyone and WILL return for more in the future...

For years I have come to Computer Connection for parts and repair service, which is excellent. It never occurred to me until recently that they could build me a custom PC. I did so finally and was not disappointed. Top notch service and build. Importantly you can take it there to be serviced or upgraded. As some one who has had to deal with returning products bought online, do yourself a favor and buy your systems here. It is the best place for all your computer needs.

Nice guys but can’t seem to understand the price gouging on the 3000 series. I get that’s where the market is right now, but double the cost is quite ludicrous.

I have conducted business here in the past and concur the CS is great and, from one who is tech savvey, the repair/maint techs know their stuff. However, during C19, while in need of a webcam, I searched every office supply store only to find there are none available for pickup. Plenty on Amazon, but days wait for delivery. CCI did have a good cam in stock, in fact had 30 of them. Sales guy gave me the make and model and after searching found the exact one in store was 100% more than buying online. That is price gouging; markup of a commodity by 100%? Im a business owner too and know when wrong is wrong, and that is wrong. One review stated to be ready to pay for it, that is correct. I do believe in great CS and paying for exceptional skilled labor, but this is an OTC product that can be bought and the convenience of pickup v delivery is an unfair practice and for that reason I would not recommend this company unless you are in great need.

First off.. don’t listen to any of the negative reviews on here. I never heard of this store until I searched them up on Google. I also consider myself to be extremely tech savvy and have built tons of computers.I went there yesterday looking for parts because I ordered a couple wrong parts on Amazon. Went there and the customer service was AMAZING. They offered me a processor to borrow while I finished setting up my PC. They helped me figure out some non capabilities on the computer. They are a little pricier than Amazon but you absolutely cannot beat good customer service.If you have any computer issues or are looking to come here you need to check them out. They offer lifetime labor warranties and help remote in to troubleshoot as well. The absolute best place to go.. try them out cause you will wish that you did.

Im going to give these guys the benefit of the doubt and say theyre just too stoned at work to understand even the simple concepts when described to them, instead of presuming they are this lacking in basic knowledge. Far higher prices than Amazon, their service and knowledge should separate them and make them worth it. It doesnt. Super friendly staff! The hinge broke on my laptop the first week of the semester and I was unable to drop it off for an extended period of time due to homework. They worked with me to figure something out and ended up repairing the hinge within 24 hours. I havent had any problems with the repair since. Thank you guys again for the help!

Customer service here is great. But their prices are double or triple everywhere else. If you are in a parts emergency and need something now, be prepared to pay for it.

My sister and I were desperate to get her computer fixed because she runs her business with it and all of the sudden it crashed. We thought everything was gone for good. We stopped in Computer Connections because it was close to the house and Kevin, the owner, was amazing. He was extremely knowledgeable and had a super competent staff and he was able to recover everything and suggest and install a malware protection system that is awesome. He even does recovery for the police department when they need info off of computers used by criminals that the criminals had tried to wipe or destroy. How cool is that! Forget the big retail stores and go see Kevin. They are honest and get the job done right.

Called this company to see if they had any RTX 3080s available. They said they did and I asked them the price they said it would be $1499.00. The GPUs retail value is listed $699.99. They are selling the GPU at scalpers pricing. People do not need to buy from these people since they are ripping off the consumer.

Just needed some motherboard standoffs to finish installing a new motherboard but couldnt find any anywhere without having to wait for delivery from Amazon or something. They happened to have some extra so I came by and they just gave me some extra they had. They worked perfectly. Thank you very much guys.

A great place. I have an elderly friend who just absolutely refuses to give up on his ancient, burgundy-red laptop. Previously, his screen had gone out, and then the motherboard died...there were a few other issues such as power as well, but the guys over at Computer Connection not only fixed every issue, but did it without ripping him off, and managed to find all of the parts, which makes me suspect that they have access to a time machine.

Go somewhere else. We bought very expensive sticks of RAM from this store. We chose to go here, because we are a small business and wanted to support another small business. Within a few weeks of the install, our computer began to glitch and freeze. Took it to BEST BUY Geek Squad to troubleshoot issue. Best Buy advised that the RAM failed. (We used Best Buy because Computer Connections hours did not work with ours and our company was down due to this issue.) Called Computer Connection and was told to bring in our computer and they would fix the issue. When we did take it in, we were told they only warranty for 3 days (three - not a typo). We were actually asked, What do you want us to do about it? I guess it is our fault for thinking a company would stand by their products for at least 30 days. We do.

Ram was not replaced, hence the negative review. We wanted the error fixed, not refunded. We never asked for a refund. Now, not only do I see poor customer service, I see untrustworthy statements. Again, do yourself a favor and drive the few blocks over to Best Buy.

First I want to say that I understand that being a small business things are different than a large box store or online. However the prices at the shop are on the edge of criminal in my opinion. Its one thing to have competitive prices and another thing to straight up gouge prices, which is what they do. I really am still surprised that this shop is somehow still open. Ive been in the shop many times since the early 2000s, back then PC Club always got my business because their prices were fair and they would PRICE MATCH, not just try to get closer to the lower more reasonable price. Recently I was checking on some fans for my case, a 200mm and a 140mm. For a blue led 140mm fan they wanted $30 which is nearly $20 more then online for an rgb version. The mark up on their prices is downright outrageous, I honestly cant comment on their service personally since Ive never used it. But the other reviewers are correct about some of the rudeness. If you bring up the fact of their ridiculous prices their attitude changes very fast towards you. I personally refuse to give a business my money when that businesses success plan is milking every last penny out of their clients. If the need for your part is not life or death I strongly recommend you stay far away from this shop.

These guys know what they are doing. I have had three computers serviced there over the years and have always been pleased with the service and turn time. I use my computer for work and they treat it as it is as important to them as it is to me.

Stopped by to discuss my needs for an ASUS USB-C External Monitor in connection to my 2012 Macbook (No HDMI or USB-C). They were all very nice and told me they would have to order a cable for me. I loved my interactions with Chaz specifically. He ordered the part and said it would be in the next day. I called the next day but the cable had not arrived. Same thing the following day. I was finally able to pick up the cable over the weekend. I wasnt able to test it out until the following week and alas it didnt power the display and no image was transferred. I went back to Computer Connection to return the cable and the employee told me that I fell outside of the 3 business day return window but he could return it for a restocking fee. Then after ten or so minutes of waiting around the store he told me that he could not return the cable and I was stuck with my useless $32.54 cable. I had been annoyed that I would have to pay the $6.51 restocking fee but was willing to take the hit since the cable that was ordered and arrived days late did not work at all and I had zero use for it. I was far more annoyed when the employee changed the story and told me the system would not allow him to return the product.Chaz was great. He wasnt there when I attempted the return. Based on the previous interactions, I feel as though my experience might have been more positive had he been there. All that to be said; I have a worthless to me $32.54 cable that is sitting at my home. I still do not have my external display set up because I decided not to attempt any further purchases from Computer Connection. They had been recommended to me but at this point I cannot see myself returning for business.

I accidentally stumbled across this site while researching something and decided to read reviews for the Fun of it. I was shocked by some of the bad ratings. However after reading the Bad Ones, just like any other reviews on a site, It appears that the negative ones are from extremist computer nerds which 99 % of general population is not. I have used Computer Connection since my notes say 2008. Kevin the owner will take his personal time to explain things to you and why. His staff members will do the same because I am sure Kevin makes sure they as well are Customer Service Oriented. This place has never given me any Bad Information, in fact they have taught me many things as a Desktop, Laptop, Tablet owner. If you want to Price Check every last Part to the Internet or Discount Stores I am sure You will save a buck or two. I would rather pay for the Good Technicians and Strong owner relations than the Later. I have highly recommended this place to other’s and will continue to Do SO. !!! Now Back to work. Scott Howard

First Intel buy helpful people solid machines.I was back to the store in March of this year and I am happy to report my Intel machine is still running as new. I find these guys knowledgeable and they helped me find a graphics card for my build and explained patiently what to expect if I was to is it for gaming. Their customer service is above and beyond and I will keep be back.

All the other shops told me it would be days before my laptop could be repaired. My laptop needed a screen replacement. When I brought my laptop to them, I expected a slow turn around. But I was completely amazed when they called me back to pick up my laptop after only a couple hours! Clayton did the work, and he is very knowledgeable and skilled. I highly recommend this shop.

Told me a pre-owned computer was new, sold it for $300 more than I could have gotten it new and its already glitchy and the fan runs loud. Just buy from the manufacturer or Best Buy, who would have the computer for $200 less than MSRP if it was used. I know it costs money to have computers in a brick and mortar store, but come on, $500?

They had what I needed in two instances. Each time, however, my priorities didnt match with their valuation of the item, which one might term as an exercise in free enterprise and supply-and-demand, and I thanked them and left to order it online or borrow it from a friend.If you have an immediate need that must be fulfilled as soon as possible, it appears that it will be met—for a price. And its their right. Its also your right to shop around if you can afford to wait a couple of days.

The worst owner and service ever. My computer was working fine when i took it to the store and I was looking for cable management. After two days, they told me that my computer no longer works, and they can give me a “discount” to “solve the issue”. No! Do not go to this place, not recommend at all! This is the worst store ever!

Awful experience and way overpriced. I purchased a liquid cooling solution for my new system at home. The parts do not fit - regardless of the product stating if fits the intel 1151 - however, it does not fit. The owner of the store informed me prior to purchasing it, that if theres any issue with the product, then I and the manufacturer have to work it out...in other words, the store owner is clear of any liability.My recommendation is go to an online resource for your products and with a good reputation. Obviously this owner does not want new customers or repeat business.

On Feb. 6, 2014 for the second time these guys, particularly, Kevin Henry, saved me from buying a new computer my fixing my old one at a reasonable price compared to buying a new computer. I had my doubts because they kept it for longer than I expected, but now that I have it back I am so pleased!I remember the first time I used this shop about a year ago when during that ordeal everyone else I checked with tried to sell me a new computer these guys just sold me a $100.00 gadget and off I went.

Awful experience. First of all, i went in there for a mechanical RGB keyboard and they brought me the corsair k55 (was $50 when released). I dint know any better so i bought it for their ridiculous price of $120 and i got home to find out its not even mechanical and the lighting is garbage (what you would expect out of a $50 keyboard). Aside from ripping people off, they consistently tell you things that are incorrect just to sell the product. DO NOT TRUST anybody in there as all they care about is moving product.One more thing to note is that before the whole fake overpriced keyboard ordeal, they sold me a foreign RGB keyboard that looked nice, and i got home to realize that it only lit up in one ugly color. Upon further research, i found out that this keyboards retail value was only about $45 and again, they sold it to me for $120. The only reason i bothered to go back after that is to get a refund. The guy who sold me the keyboard acted like i was mentally handicapped for wanting a refund and the only saving grace was that the owner showed up and let me trade out for the aforementioned k55.Complete waste of time and money. The older man with white hair is very snotty and seems to be the worst of the bunch.

I have had two experiences with this store and staff, specifically Kevin Henry, and both exceeded my expectations.The first time, my laptop stopped charging. Kevin diagnosed the problem as nothing serious; it was the cord. He had it on hand, replaced it, and I was good to go in less than 30 minutes. This was a Saturday, and they were busy. They were polite, professional, and knowledgeable.Second time there was a registry drive problem on my laptop that was caused by malware in a program I downloaded to make it run more smoothly. Nope. Now I had a REAL problem, as the laptop would not function at all. Kevin diagnosed the issue, cleaned out the malware, and restored the applications and programs that were corrupted. This was done in only two days. The charge was reasonable.Some have commented that certain items in the store are overpriced. I dont know if that is true, but I know they have a large inventory of nifty gadgets you cant find in the big box stores. It costs money to keep an extensive inventory like that, and Im glad they are willing to invest in the convenience of their customers.Ive been happy with these guys. I trust them to advise the proper course to take, i.e., what is economically feasible for the computer -- all things considered. They treated me like I was the only customer in the store, even though the shop was busy.I unhesitatingly recommend Computer Connection, Inc.

This place was amazing! Not only was the service fast, the prices were extremely reasonable compared to other places I called. I would definitely recommend them to everyone!

Employees were great however looking at what I was built by them for a computer against what they really costed and what I paid. $400-$500 added on top of the parts. Doesnt make sense for labor of that price. Great Customer service etc. only thing bad about this place is overcharging on builds, not sure about selling individual parts prices.EDIT: response to owner(didnt see reply on post via phone)I actually did mention my concerns to both you and an employee who was helping me. I had spoken for roughly 30 minutes discussing what i wanted to do with the computer and my limited budget. I talked to these guys about getting a motherboard I told them that I wasnt sure that was the problem but I thought it was....They tried to talk me into letting them work on it (way over priced) I said no then they became rude. I went ahead and bought the motherboard and at the time of purchase asked about the return policy. I was told that if I wound up not needing the motherboard I could return it with in 15 days...no problem I walked out the door. I wound up not using the motherboard but still had some stuff I wanted to get so the very next day I tried to get instore credit for the motherboard and planned to purchase additional equipment....THEY COMPLETELY REFUSED....NO RETURN NO EXCHANGE NO CREDIT NOTHING they were very rude and just told me that I bought it now its my problem. I prefer to shop local, this is why people are shopping online now better products, better price, better service, bottom line is I will never shop here again the people there are rude, liars, and extremely overpriced on almost everything.

Not sure what others are talking about. Ive now had two good experiences with this store. Is a re-stocking fee a little silly, perhaps, but you also have to remember that these are electronic devices made by people, they can and will screw up and once it leaves the store (or even before) anything is possible. I went in, after figuring out what was wrong they told me exactly the cost and thats what was on the ticket when I came back, and it was in a very timely manner. As far as knowledge and jargon, you obviously arent technically inclined or you havent dealt with people from Best Buy and other major stores. If you go and think those people are going to be helpful, you are very very mistaken. These guys were able to get a discontinued gaming laptop back up and running after Frys Electronic store tried to say it was the power cord (hence my major retail store knowledge comment) when it was really the motherboard. Plus after everything was said and done, they literally handed me a $40 gaming mouse for free as I was walking out of the store. Go ahead and get that deal and personal service at Best Buy.

If you are not computer literate beware because they will cheat you out your money for lack of knowledge. All their product are use in over price and if they sell you a defective item like a mother bored and you would like to return the item, you will get charge a 20% restocking fee which mean you dont get all your money back. They value the dollar over customer service. If you are looking for other computer stores in okc, google it. there are a lot of other computer store that has better customer service and a better return policy in okc.

Knowledgable, in a matter of minutes we picked al the components out including a case getting what I wanterd and by tomorrow it will be assembled and ready for pick up.

TERRIBLE place to go. Weather you live in town or are traveling from out of state, if you are new to computers in general or just dont know much about how stuff should be priced, DO YOUR RESEARCH first. They scammed me of over $100 by selling things twice as much as you could find at best buy. They had a samsung evo 860 128gb for sale for $140! Thats double what the MSRP is! Even if its a tangible storefront that you would expect reasonably higher prices at, dont waste your time. The only thing that was reasonably priced was some thermal paste, which happens to be the only thing in the entire store that isnt ridiculously overpriced.

Absolutely terrible! I brought my Macbook laptop and its been there about a month. Not one person called me to update me from the day I brought it in. Ive called three separate times and each person tells me they will call back. Not a one has called. The worse customer service Ive ever seen. Im going up there this week to get it back. A complete waste of time! Do not use them. Youve been warned.

Not really happy with these people myself. Went to them for a EZ docking station and was way over priced. Saw the same item on amazon for almost half the price. Just today i called to see how much it would cost to see iftwo video cards would work, just work nothing more, they were going to charge me $40 each. 80 bucks to put a card into a slot and turn the computer on to see if video would come up and thats it. 5 min worth of work.

Decent selection of computer parts you cant find at big box retailersStrict 3 day return policy and higher than average prices. If you dont live close to the store, hope you dont need to return anything you bought for any reason. Management was unwilling to work with me on returning an item when i explained that i dont live close enough to warrant a trip out of my way.Would not shop at again.

Made purchase of components needed with no problems.
