We recently had the glass replaced in all three windows on the front of our house. Two of the three were fogged over, looked horrible, and were difficult see through. I decided to research the different options for a tinted, low E glass with no grids since we have shutters on all window openings. We have never liked a window grid with a shutter. It always creates a lot of confusion for the eye when looking through the window or from the street so we opted for a clean transitional look. Since we have black accents on the front of the house, we chose for the Solar Ban 60, softcoat, Low E, with gray tint and could not HAPPIER! Not only does the gray tint really compliment the black accents within our color palette, the reduction in glare into each window opening and heat reduction are fantastic! We no longer have to have tilt our shutters up on a sunny day. I have provided a few photos but they dont show how the shutter makes a grid for each opening. In person, you can see a grid from the shutters. The window openings look great with an open or closed shutter in the morning or at night. If you like a clean, transitional look, we highly recommend eliminating the grid when using shutters. Also, the window openings look larger now.Regarding the guys at Consolidated Builders Supply, we had a great experience with Trish (receptionist) Josh (estimator) and Jamie and Terry (installers). They were timely, professional, and courteous. Jaime did an excellent job measuring and installing the new glass. We are very pleased with the quality of work and customer service and would recommend this company to anyone looking to upgrade their glass like we did or simply replacing it with the original quality.

BEWARE!!! DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! I had such high dollar windows put in my house and this company was nothing but rude disrespectful and awful all around to work with. It took months and months of me begging them to fix non functioning windows. I have never been talked to with such disrespect. If you want high quality windows go somewhere else. This company is not worth the stress ans hassle they will put you through to even get windows that function properly!!!

I used Consolidated Builders Supply to install windows in my rental home. From start to finish, Dan was a reliable contact. He provided a fair estimate and followed up when necessary. He even went out to inspect the job after completion. The crew that did the work did an excellent job. Would definitely use them again.

Update: CBS has credited me the install fee for the one window, which is all I wanted. I now have no issue with them or with Travis. I consider the issue resolved.I had three windows put in my house. I paid their installers $150 per window for professional installation. They did not insulate or foam around any of the windows, which struck me as odd but I was willing to overlook as the new windows themselves would be a vast improvement over the old ones. The installers did mess up pretty badly on one of the windows. Broke my drywall in two places and tried to fill the quarter-sized hole with caulking. The same window was loose in the frame, as in one corner was not secure. I was able to catch the installers before they left and they managed to secure it.I asked Travis Baker, who was the salesman everyone recommended, to waive the install fee on the one window because it was unsatisfactory in more ways than one. He responded that I would pay that charge in full or hed put a lien on my house, threatened to tell my aunt/realtor (who recommends alot of business to him) what kind of person her nephew is, and then hung up on me. This is unfortunate because hes aware I have more windows to replace. They have lost my business due to terrible customer service. Look elsewhere

This company stands by their products. To me a company Is only as good as their customer service. Consolidated Builder’s Supply has taken great care of us. I would highly recommend them. The gentlemen that came to make repairs today were very polite, kind, and diligent workers. I appreciated their attitudes and hard work.

Just had all the windows in our house replaced by CBS and they did an amazing job from start to finish. Travis committed to us what they could do, the cost, and the schedule, and then the company delivered exactly as promised. Luke and the team of installers were very professional and we could not be more pleased with the installation of our beautiful new windows! An excellent job done by a company and people great to work with.

Its funny had great service, but after Door was installed. I called to have someone come and adjust it but they want to charge me for it. I paid a lot for that door. Then we talk to the salesperson and he said someone would call us to set up a time to come and adjust at no cost. But Boone ever called or came out. So if you live far, thank twice.

From the time we visited the showroom we have been pleased with the service provided through to the installation of our new Marvin Integrity Windows. We needed siding and windows on our house, they informed us that my wife and I both have to be present. I work out of town quite often. They said they would rather lose the business than only have one person available for the appointment. craziest thing Ive ever heard of. We are going with a different company.

My husband and I walked in CBS a couple weeks ago to look at doors and windows for our new house. We were told wed have to talk to one particular salesman at the time. Another salesman was helpful and showed us some things that we were interested in, continually telling us that he wouldnt be able to handle the actual order - hes the only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1. The salesman that we were told wed have to go through never returned my phone calls. My husband went back to talk to him and was brushed off again - the salesman telling us he would be in touch. That never happened. So good luck trying to actually buy something from CBS - they werent interested in our business.

14 years ago we purchased windows from CBS. One of the casement windows had a seal fail. CBS came done and checked the window. They replaced the entire window since it was under warranty.
