Everyone was friendly and helpful. The house was not remodeled but covered up to look like things were new and in good shape. When we pulled off some trim on the exterior of the home to put skirting on. We found that the trim was new and was used to cover up the rotting of the exterior of the home. Also the shower was painted to look new. Possibly the the bathtub too. Not sure if the paint texture in the tub is from painting it or where they textured the ceilings and didnt cover it while painting. The toilet tank lids were left off while painting the ceiling. So both tanks on the toilets had paint all in them. We were also told that all the electric and plumbing was fully checked and working. The lights and most of the sockets dont work in the front part of the double wide. My suggestion would be to not only get an appraisal like we did. But get an inspection also.

I had bought a home from them back in November it is basically falling apart. If you are going to purchase a home from here here is the quick guide to purchasing a home at Duke’s1. Make sure all the outlets work (5 of ours do not)2. Make sure to observe it after a rain (roof leaks a lot)3. Make sure the floor is solid (we have a 6x6 foot hole)4. Make sure bathrooms are made of good materials (ours is basically self destructing from the water from the shower head)5. Make sure the windows don’t fall out (we get our toes smashed quite often)But hey other than that it was a good buying process and everyone is friendly. Except for the lady who “deals with the titles”.Good luck. You’ll need it.
