Had tire issues, visiting from out of state, they got me right in, & fixed my issue immediately! So grateful! Excellent customer service!

I called in the morning to see if I could get a same day oil change--even though they were busy, they got me in! Whats even more: while I was waiting, a women showed up with a nail in her tire. The tire was a weird size and they didnt have it in stock, but the man at the desk called three different places in town to see if they had the tire. One place had it but was closing soon, so they sent someone to go over and pick it up so that the woman could get back home to Buffalo. All this despite the fact that they were clearly very busy. I was blown away by the customer service!

I got a flat before work this morning I sent my mom to have my tired fixed she took it here for these guys to fix they end up selling her a new tire not even lining up with what I have they sell her a summer tire and I have all seasons on it and I asked to keep my old tire and they still charged a disposal fee I will never do business with them again the guy in charge is mike and he had no sense of being to actually help just looking to make a dollar.

Had a nail in my tire and gave these guys a call. They made time for me immediately and I was in and out within 20 minutes. Excellent service!

Take my car here when something goes wrong they fix it quick and does a great job with my experience ill give it 4 of 5 because sometimes i feel its alitte pricey.But also the guy told me they dont hire basic machanics so that tells me every workers pretty knowlegeable about working on cars ya know. So id say you get what you pay for here!

Ive previously had work on my car done here and was very satisfied! Im due for an oil change and called to make another appointment. A man named Chad answered the phone and was extremely rude. He acted completely inconvenienced that he had to answer the phone and treated me like scheduling me was not worth his time. Im not sure if he acted that way because I am a female or if he is just nasty to everyone. Either way I happily took my business to Dixie Automotive where I was treated with respect! I will never give my money to Monro again.

Chad and the other technicians always go above and beyond in making sure mine and my wifes vehicles are safe to have on the road with our child in the vehicle. Prices are extremely fair and service is quick.

I called today to see if I could get my vehicle inspected. Mike answered with a stellar greeting that set the tone for the entire experience. Being that it was the first of the month I knew before calling it would be a miracle to get an inspection with out a long wait (or at all today). Anyway, Mike did a great job of explaining the reality of the workload and setting an appointment for me the next day. By the way, I have worked in automotive sales/service in the past ( & I know the difference) and appreciate talking to a real person on the other end of the phone now that Im the customer. I had a scheduled appointment at 10:30 a.m. very friendly I was in and out of there by 11:15 a.m. which was very convenient because I had my 6 month old with me. I go there every year for my inspection and oil change! It is very convenient to be able to schedule your appointment online in advance it tends to make the service a lot quicker. Highly recommend them!

This is my “go to” place for service for my vehicle. Their prices are fair, I never have to wait more than a day or two to get in and they go the “extra mile” to do a good job. The staff is courteous and professional. Very pleased with Olean’s service center.

Were sent here by Monro customer service after we were pulled over on the side of the road due to questionable service at the Monro in Bath NY. The manager and technicians were SO friendly and accommodating. They were booked full, yet still took the time to get us in as fast as they could, and then proceeded to hunt down the parts needed and got us back on the road within a couple hours at no charge. They were lifesavers and we highly recommend going to them for any mechanical needs you have. So knowledgeable and professional!

My car broke down on a Sunday and got towed to the Monro store in Olean. They were super busy but Mike D got my car on a lift to diagnose the problem. He had to order parts, so it took a couple of days, but the car is good as new and the price was reasonable. Great job Mike and team. Thanks.

I heard good reviews about this store, and decided to try it out. Mike answered all of my questions as customer service was excellent. The mechanics were all working and were very descriptive of what needed done on my truck.

Had my car there for appointment at 4:30 pm on a Thursday and they had it ready to go by 2:00pm Friday. My exaust had a hole alignment and tyrods were shot!! Definitely fast work and reasonably priced!

I have no idea why anyone would post a negative reviews of this location. I take my personal vehicles and my two work trucks there and have never had anything less than a perfect experience. Beware of the other reviews, it sounds like competition posting bogus reviews. The manager there is very thorough and makes sure he gets you the best price possible. The mechanics are knowledgeable and do quick work. Ive never been charged for unnecessary work. Would recommend over any other shop in town for brakes, oil changes, muffler etc.

The guy was super busy but handled my service professionally. He called me back with the details of what was wrong with the vehicle. Then he helped me with some discounts. Vehicle was out in a timely manner. Good service all around!

The control arm snapped on my car on a Friday afternoon. I was not able to pay for a tow or drive or back to my house since I live about 50 miles away. So I took it over to this Monroe hoping to get it fixed today. I brought it at about 4, and they closed at 7, so I wasnt expecting it to be done today but I was hopeful. Luckily, when I returned at 530, they already had it done! I was able to drive it home! I was amazed, I definitely recommend this garage. Mike in particular was a great guy.

They really took me out of a jam! I needed to make a 170 mile trip in my rental car to Syracuse NY to get on a plane back home to Ft Laud. The tire blew out and no way could I go that far on the spare. With cars waiting to be serviced, the manager took my car in and had me out and back on the road in 20 minutes flat. He even fed me a piece of their fresh hot pizza when I said I was hungry. BEST SERVICE EVER!!

I love coming here. It was honestly an accident the first time I came (Ibwas new to town and I had made an appointment somewhere else, but showed up at Monroe), but 5 years later Ive never taken my car anywhere else. Theyre friendly and take the time to help you understand why theyre doing the work theyre doing, and if something doesnt need fixed, they tell you and they dont charge for it. Ive never thought about going anywhere else.

They’ve always been great- quick work and fair prices, and working in coupons when they were available.Recently I had an engine light come in and stopped on my way home. Over the next month the manager Mike and his crew have done everything they could to fix the problem without just throwing parts at it. After a lot of work and headaches they got it right and gave me a better than fair deal on the cost.I go here and I tell my friends and family to go here, too. Oil changes, inspections, brakes, tires, and everything else, they’ve earned my trust and my business.

I had my wheels aligned on my BMW which is a little trickier than most NA cars. I was told it would take 1 to 1.5 hours and cost between $79 to $120. It took 50 minutes and I was charged the lower rate. No sales pressure to buy other stuff or to check something else. Friendly and cheerful staff. This was my second visit and I will return.

I work downtown and on break I took my car down to Monro to get new tires and they had it ready for me after work. All of there work was professional and done in a timely manner. This is the shop to go to if you need new tires, inspection, etc.

I went 2 times for my brakes and they were really helpful in sorting out my issue & such a honest car mechanics i meet in my whole life ................ keep up good work and honesty

Great customer service at this location. I stopped in on a Sunday with no appointment (the convenience of being able to stop in on a Sunday alone is great) to get a tire blown up that had its bead broken. I was in and out in 5 minutes, with no charge. Thanks!

Overpriced and not fast, could not recommend to those in need

Been taking our vehicles here for 3 yrs. Always helpful and knowledgeable. Have never had a problem.

Paid for a number of things to be fixed on my van. They never even changed half the parts yet were more then happy to charge me for them. Now a few months later when my van is all messed up they tell me that the parts are guaranteed but i have to pay for labor for them to fix it. Place offers lemon services and i wouldnt recommend anyone going to them.

Despite the bad reviews, i went in to get an oil change and my thermostat replaced. the oil change was going to cost me around $40 (not bad) and they said they would call me with a quote for the thermostat. i get a call 30 minutes later. replacing the thermostat (that I provided by the way) was going to cost me around $300. Moral of the story, Listen to the reviews. This place is a rip off

TL;DR: Avoid at all cost. Store manager Wayne Karnuth marked up prices by more than 100% on parts, lied to my face, refused to own up.I got stuck in Olean on New Years Day with a busted radiator. Monro was the only place open and although I saw that it has terrible reviews, I went there anyway because I needed to get home. What a mistake. Service rate is higher than most of the other nearby shops and price list for parts came back suspiciously high. We looked up what a replacement radiator should cost on the advanced autoparts web site (~$110) which was was less than the parts quote he gave us ($224). Went in to ask about it and he claimed thats the price we get on them from NAPA, and said several times thats exactly how much they paid for it. No markup and the price seemed suspicious, so after finally convincing him to give me the exact part number I asked so if I call over to NAPA right now and ask them how much this part is, theyre going to tell me 224? He tries some line about well thats the price they give us, I dont know about someone off the street. I pull out the phone and walk out of the store. Wayne picks up his phone and starts frantically dialing some number, maybe trying to get the local NAPA guys to lie about the price. Luckily a quick check over the internet showed how much the price actually was -- $104. When I went back in and pointed out that he had blatantly lied to me (in front of other customers even) about marking up the price more than 100%, he entirely refused to own up, and tried to pretend he never claimed that was the real price. Theres a reason why Monro has a terrible reputation, and its because of people like this guy. Avoid at all cost.
