Steven and Nate were awesome to work with. I have a very strict time schedule and they found a way to accommodate me and make the process extremely seamless and easy for a buyer. We were able to do my trade in, as well as purchase the new Passat in about 1 hour 30 min. Overall, it was a great experience, and was by far the best dealership customer service I’ve ever experienced.

If it was possible to give 6 stars, I would. From start to finish, the car buying experience was incredible. Not only did they have what I was looking for in stock, but they accommodated my schedule and had the vehicles ready to test drive with my name on them as soon as I arrived (and even cooled off with AC!!) I brought a pre-approval for a loan and they were able to beat the terms with in-house financing, and were great through the financing process. Absolutely none of the typical dealership gimmicks or headaches. The sales advisor Kellen, sales manager Troy, and finance manager Brian were all fantastic

Purchasing a vehicle is not an experience that I look forward to doing. Our sales rep Kellen did an amazing job and made what is usually painful process simple. Kellen was extremely knowledgeable and was able yo answer all questions that I had without delay. You could tell that he knew the vehicles on the lot and the different options. He was able to explain it so my wife and I were able to understand and make the best decision for us. I can be difficult to work with at times and Kellen was professional with a smile on his face the whole time. He made what could have been a painful experience enjoyable. In the future when purchasing a vehicle I will be back to buy from Kellen at VW of Olympia

Scheduled an appointment for diagnostics. Although the wait time was longer than anticipated (roughly two and a half hours), I appreciated that two different technicians took the car for a test drive to see if they could replicate the issue we were having. They visually inspected possible causes including dismounting the wheels and checking the balancing. Joey (our service advisor) explained everything that was done and offered possible fixes if the issue persists. Whatever they did, the car is handling much better now!

My credit is terrible. I made some bad life decisions and my credit score is 500-600, but working on it. I thought getting into a newer vehicle was going to be more than impossible. I applied for a loan through a subprime loan company. I received a telephone call from Justin who was more than willing to help me get into a vehicle and reassured me it was going to be easier than I thought. He asked for the standard information: employment, housing, etc. Later that afternoon I received a text message from him saying, “you’ll never believe what I got you into.” I was expecting an older car with over 100,000 miles… I was wrong! He scored a loan with a company who was willing to work with the amount I had down, and my credit score and I am now the proud owner of a 2019 VW Jetta, that had 30,800 miles on it when I received it.Every vehicle I’ve ever owned has been 10+ years old with 100k plus miles. I was in shock! I had the keys to my new car in my hand in less than 48 hours. It was wonderful. He made the experience quick. I didn’t have to drive back and fourth (45 minutes away) or spend hours up there trying to get out the door.Best experience I’ve ever hand. Hands down.I’d recommend to anyone!

Bought 2 cars here in past. My recent car buying experience been less than enjoyable. Bought a van they said was clean low miles. Did the paper work BEFORE the van could be driven because they just got it on trade in. Told me it was detailed and clean. When I got it, the dash had Cobb webs and the van smelled like an ashtray. 3 months later you still smell cigarettes when you open the door.When purchasing the van we agreed on 13k, when I was signing final paperwork they hiked up the price to 17k after I showed how much I make.The van needed new spark plugs last week. They had to open the bottom dash to get to that part of engine. Broke my stereo in the process. The deck wont go back on, broke plastic clip, and unplugged stereo from back?I called and they said if I didnt come back same day, it wasnt their problem. (Joey from services) always had good experience with Jim, but Joey acted like I had an old van, stuff breaks.Last time I let them take care of my vehicle.

I finally caved for a M.A.V.(Momma assault vehicle - to some it is known as a minivan) and this place did an amazing job. I am in love with my M.A.V. The price is more than fair and they offer certified used vehicles with warranties and service. They even did such a great job that they called us back when we had a better off than we ever expected on financing. We will definitely be returning and recommending you!

We have been coming to this dealership for years and have gotten all our work done to BOTH our Volkswagen’s that we own we even purchased one at this dealership a few years back with Rick. Recently one of our cars had been shutting off randomly and we took it in back in September and they told us to get a new battery even though it tested back good. Week later car died while my husband was driving around at work on base and we had to have it towed to the Volkswagen on October 1st they diagnosed it with a bad fuel pump now and how it was on back order. The parts department told me on the third week that the east coast warehouse had the part in stock all this time and they don’t know why they didn’t get it from them and they were trying to figure it out but thankfully last Saturday they finally got the one from Germany in. We get a call a few days ago saying now it’s the fuel module which we don’t understand why that had not been checked when they diagnosed it before. The advisor Jim did not give good clarification at all when I asked him if the fuel pump was even the problem. Avoided the question if anything. Which this whole process cost us near $1600 total so definitely not cheap and a whole month without our car. When I went to pick up our car jordan asked if I had any questions and I expressed my concerns to see if maybe he could explain it to me better but dumb Jim came around the corner trying to jump in very rudely. Jim is unprofessional and clearly not very educated with cars and has no customer service skills. Jordan and Joey are the best advisors there.

Need a new car? At Volkswagen of Olympia All of the People are very friendly. The process does not take very long, as long as you know kind of what you want. And there is nothing hidden and we were told exactly what was going on, and what to expect. And they have some Great Coffee.The Insurance was also much lower than we expected.

Take everything you hear from this dealership with a grain of salt. After negotiating a deal over the phone/via email I made the 2 hr drive to this dealership to finalize our agreement. Although the car I was interested in was still in transit I was reassured by the employees that the car would be available to me within the week. I left the dealership after a couple hours of work and at this point I had been completely approved for financing, I had provided every document requested, I had given the dealership the title for my trade in, I paid a deposit, and I walked away with a full packet of documents (Specific VIN included) outlining our agreement which was signed by myself and a representative at the dealership.Three days later I received a call from an employee who told me that my car was sold by another dealership. This was frustrating because I was initially told that they already had ownership of the vehicle. Instead of offering a replacement vehicle the employee tried to upsell me a car which was thousands of dollars over our initial price. I asked if they could lower the price to meet our initial price and they refused. I asked if they could continue to work to find a replacement vehicle for me and at that point correspondence dwindled on their end. The dealership had no intention of making this situation right and effectively told me that our agreement meant nothing. No effort was put forth to offset the time/money I had put into making this deal happen. They showed no sense of urgency while returning me my title and refunding me my deposit. I understand that accidents happen, but I dont understand how a company can take zero responsibility for their mistakes and instead continue to try and squeeze more money out of a customer.

Hands down best vw dealership out there. My family has bought now 4 cars from them and always had a great experience they are very helpful and try their best at getting you everything you’re looking for in a new/used car. I recommend asking for Logan, Riley or Kenny as your salesmen.

Rust spot on door told my sales man that I would buy it if they fixed it the main sales man said that would be no problem so I bought it in for them to fix the rust spot and know they say they cant and to fix the shade on Sun screen only to find they are not going to fix either thing apparently its not in the bumper to bumper warranty read your warranty and I suggest not buying one their is things in between the bumper to bumper warranty that are not covered I feel the manager lied to me and is dishonest but thats my experience with them

I came in for my Jetta’s 90,000 mile maintenance and had a great experience. Booking the appointment online was super easy, everyone was friendly, and the service was faster than I expected. They took the time to walk me through everything that was done, let me know that I needed tires soon and even gave me a packet with 4 different types of tires and their prices. My regular mechanic was unable to perform a service that I needed and referred me to the dealer, Hansen VW of Olympia. I was under the impression that they would be considerably more expensive and found that they were not. The team at Hansen VWs service department did a complete workup and my representative provided all the costs and even prioritized them. I got a lot done to my vehicle and have a few additional items that Im having completed later this month. Joeys communication was on point. His attention to detail and the time spent assisting me was perfect!Todd the service manager assisted me with an additional matter and was helpful and honest about the issue. I cannot rave enough about the service and after comparing prices I am switching to Hansen VW. Im truly impressed with Todd and his team. I took my new to me VW Alltrack there for its first service on 4/30. I was given a time estimate that they stuck to and aside from that the process was smooth and not at all stressful. I spent my time waiting in their lounge area and was pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get work done. The seating area is comfortable and the coffee is decent, but I have a difficult time complaining about free coffee. Overall I am happy to have a reliable dealership local to me.

They always do a good job....but it did take 4 extra days than they originally stated. The car part came in, but still 3 extra days after that. I like they open at 7am.

Kellen worked with us prior to coming to the dealership. The majority of our questions were answered and the numbers were presented before we came in, making the entire process quite easy. Kellen and Nate were honest, knowledgeable and easy to work with. We never felt pressured when presented with options and feel we were well taken care of.

Jordan, the service guy was friendly and helpful and the job was over before the described time. I was happy and had no extra charges. All the work was explained to me and I left happy with my time there and the work that was done there.

The sales guys were great to work with. The finance guy wanted more info than he needed to complete the deal. I had financing approved by USAA yet I was pushed to complete a credit application. This is not needed when you already have secured financing and have what is essentially a blank check for the dealer. I wasnt happy about how much I was pushed for to complete a credit app and supply my SSN.Would I do business here again? Probably.

VW of Olympia provided excellent service replacing the rear brakes and changing over to Summer tires on my VW Golf R. Everyone, especially the Service Advisor Nick, were very professional and polite. The service advisor even ensured that I received all current discounts for the services.

I love my 2018 Jetta ES TSI! Ive had it for 2 weeks now. Roland was such a great salesman. I actually had to call him back after I bought my car. I noticed that the door handle appeared to be missing a small area of paint. Im not positive, but thats how it appeared. They replaced my door handle in 10 minutes and I was back on my happy way. Great folks!

I just purchased a 2021 Tiguan, and it was one of the best car buying experienced ever. We have nothing but problems with our use car since we buy it from Volkswagen of Olympia took it in more than 4 times already to get fixed and still have the same problem am not happy with our suv we buy from them. I feel like they new the suv had a problem before we got it off them. Not a happy customer

Called to ask if work I was planning on having was done would be covered by an extended warranty. They said yes and I scheduled an appointment. Got to the dealership and nothing was covered. All they could say is the person I talked to “was new”. They were unapologetic and made no attempt to help the situation.

I purchase vehicles for my company and it can be quite the pain. I called the dealership on Tuesday after finding a Smart ForTwo electric drive on the site and had the pleasure of speaking with Lew! He was courteous, kind, and cared for our needs. We were able to close the deal that night and my boss and I went in the following day to pick it up. Again, Lew and the rest of the staff exceeded my expectations, keep in mind I spent over 15 years in car biz myself. In and out in an hour. We will definitely be using Lew again!
