My wife and I had our whole kitchen remodeled and we used A1 Kitchen and Bath for the countertops, cabinets, sink, and pull handles. Our kitchen is lovely and it is because of the quality and craftmanship of A1s staff.Kristen was our point of contact and she did a great job of keeping us informed and pricing was great. Wayne came out and did measurements and even made a service call to repair a small chip. I think on large projects you will always hit road blocks but I feel that is were A1 shined. Install was prompt and timely. We had cabinets to countertops in under a week. Cabinets are solid maple, zero particle board. I hope to do business with them again in the future. Our small kitchen project was given the attention you would expect with a much larger project. Call and ask for Kristen, she will get you sorted out.

Do not hire A-1. Worst company in town. One star is too good of a review review. They will lie and give you the run around non stop. Literally got the run around for 4 months.

We couldnt have asked for a better experience with A1 Kitchen and Bath. All of the workers were very detailed and the quality of the cabinets, backsplash and quartz were top notch. Ashley was wonderful to work with regarding the design and Grant and Allie, the managers, always jumped in to help along the way and got right back to us every time. From tear out to finish it was a two week process for our entire kitchen and it turned out beautiful. We realize this couldnt have gone any smoother and their pricing was much more reasonable compared to other bids. Thank you for exceeding our expectations!

I had two bathroom countertops with backslashes made. You can see they finished the edge of the countertop but insist the backsplash isn’t supposed to have anything but these sharp edges. Wrong. I paid for finishing. Also notice the letter P on the stone. My contractor and I worked and got most of the other writing off but not all.UPDATE: A1’s owner followed up. He sent out a craftsman to remove the lettering and round the edges in place - to remove the vanity top would’ve damaged the walls. Under the circumstances he did a good job. Is it the same as the machined edges? No. But if you didn’t know you wouldn’t notice. Unfortunately, I know.I commend A1 for doing what they could to make the situation right. The owner followed up again after the repairs to ensure I was satisfied.

Customer service is awful. Poor correspondence, act as though they could care less about your business. Do not recommend.

OMG the selection in this place is ENDLESS! And the staff are super sweet and helpful.

So sorry that I recommended A1 to my friend. Very poor communication on several occasions. Calls not returned, installation scheduled and on scheduled install day they were no call, no show. Called to inquire when they didnt show up and was told they were A crew down so they will have to come later in the week, quite a disappointment. I hope when it does get installed hopefully on Friday that things go smoothly and professionally.

I have been working with A1 Kitchen and Bath for new counters throughout our home and could not be happier! ... from the ability to view in person the actual slabs that were available, to the exacting laser measurements by Wayne Zhang on some very awkward angles at the basement bar area + a very difficult support pole that had to be wrapped with granite counter, to the installation team led by Shio (?) - the finished counters are beautiful! The company team was prompt - measurement dates were set at the time of purchase, and installation dates happened within one week of measurement, and when follow-up was needed - the team was back out within the week! I would highly recommend A1 Kitchen and Bath for new counter surfaces!!!

Flooring is also perfect and the installer was great to work with a very meticulous. I will definitely be referring your company to others. Jerry and crew did absolutely perfect work. They stripped my kitchen down to studs and floorboards. Then they installed new cabinets, windows, and floors. He got the work done on time, with everything finished as promised. In this day and age, we are always quick to complain of bad service so I wanted to reach out to you to thank you for your EXCELLENT service provided. I have been struggling trying to pull the pieces of our kitchen remodel together and felt like a weight had been lifted off mt shoulders after talking to the installers. Not only did they give great advice on matching colors, variations of counter tops to use with my cabinet color, but they repeatedly ran to the back area to find me pieces of counter and even had a small piece of toe kick cut off so I had a sample of the cabinet color. Please thank these employees from just one of the many people Im sure theyve made life easier for. When we decide what were going to do, your business will be at the top of my list thanks to these employees.

I worked with Rachel from A1 on my kitchen remodel. I can honestly say she is THE BEST. Rachel went above and beyond to help me get what I needed at a price I was happy with. The cabinets and stone are top notch, but it was the customer service that will bring me back.

A1 was wonderful when I was remodeling my kitchen. They were able to work within my very tight schedule and the cabinets are beautiful. The installation was done on time and well. Nichole was very easy to work with and Wayne was very helpful during and after the installation.

I had my whole house remodeled this past winter. New floors, new kitchen and new bathrooms. Everyone I came in contact with was extremely polite and knowledgeable. Any concerns of mine were addressed and taken care of promptly. The whole process only took about a month, and I didn’t have to leave my house. I just finished having granite installed in 3 places in my new home in West Millard. I love it. I had the good fortune of working with Ally Bowen, who is an experienced granite rep. and helped me walk through the entire process including selection, pricing and installation. She was quick to respond and gave me some great ideas on what to buy and how to maximize my budget in all three areas.She showed me different surface finishes (yes, there is more than just glass smooth) and edge options. I had bought granite in the Denver area 8 years ago and A1 seemed very competitive as well.Finally, when there was an adjustment to be made, Ally was very empathetic and willing to respond to our changing requirements. I’ve been working with Jimmy and Ali for years now as I’ve fixed up my house. They’ve always taken care of me. Earlier this month, their crew installed a large countertop at my house. There was a mistake with how the edge was finished and 15 minutes later Jimmy was on site and offering to cut a new slab for me. His crew came back later that day and stayed until 10pm (the day before a holiday) to get the job done. Looks great!

Weve used A1 for 2 countertop projects so far and Id recommend them in a heartbeat. Rachel in sales made sure we were happy with what we were getting and that we knew exactly what everything would cost. After measurements of anything needed to be adjusted, she communicated with us quickly and cordially.Installation was great both times too! Wayne took care of everything and made sure the counter looked great before leaving. This most recent time, there was a small defect in the quartz we had picked out, and we were scheduled for a repair ASAP. Wayne was back out to fix the chip and did an amazing job.Dont look anywhere else if you are after service with that small family feel and reasonable prices, A1 is the place for you!

The granite itself is beautiful and we like it a lot! If only the rest of our experience was anywhere near it this would be a 5* review. Im going to leave out names because this wasnt any one persons fault.Person 1 we dealt with at A1 was either fired or quit after we were in the store the first time. When we started dealing with person #2, tons got lost in translation on our bid(this is understandable and it happens, no big deal) but a bunch of details were either changed or missing so we decided to put the order on hold and reassess. After shopping around, we regrettably went back to A1 after clearing up all the details of what we wanted with the manager(person 3). I was exceptionally detailed on every aspect of the order(if there were ANY questions about what we wanted they shouldve been asked or clarified before installation) To be specific, we ordered a 12 overhang off of one side of the counter to allow legroom for stools. I was abundantly clear we wanted a 12 overhang. Even though we wanted 10 originally, it was changed with person 2 and 3 when we decided to go forward with the order again. The manager stated that we needed brackets for anything over 10 so she threw those in for free and theyre even showed on our receipt. After install, its only a 10 overhang. When we called to complain, they sent the owner over, who instead of rectifying the situation, tried to sell us on the fact that its actually 10 1/4 overhang and lots of people have this size and its only an inch and a half difference trying to convince us just to keep the incorrect slab. Let me be clear, this is not about money, its about taking responsibility for your companies mistakes to make sure the customer gets WHAT THEY PAID FOR AND ORDERED. So now, hes saying that theres no record of us having ordered 12 overhang. (WHY WOULD WE NEED BRACKETS UNLESS WE ORDERED THE 12 OVERHANG?) He offered us a discount on the remaining balance after our deposit but refused to give us a new slab saying hed rather just come take his stuff back. Reluctantly, we decided we just want to be done with the whole process(because we had the plumbing and sink already done and installed) and paid the remaining balance for an incomplete and very poor job.My wife and I are very sorry for going with this company. Wouldve gladly paid more to feel like we got what we paid for. Take your business elsewhere if you are smart!

Nichole was extremely helpful in finding new hardware for our newly painted kitchens cabinets. We had struggled finding a sales rep who was willing to work with us specifically finding hardware ONLY. Many stores did not want to help us because we were not interested in new cabinets and/or measuring for them. We are in a rental & did not want to spend the money in a kitchen we would not be in long term. I wanted something that LOOKED more traditional however had some personality factor. Nichole and I found the absolute PERFECT hardware. We did have to fill holes in our old cabinetry to turn draws into knobs, and for the doors we decided to go with handles. We will be coming back to Nichole in the future when we go through with our long term home for any kitchen/bathroom needs!

I assumed the quartz I chose was ordered, when the day for measuring came I realized I was not going to get the material I ordered because they needed 75% down to order it!! For time sake I selected a slab that was in the warehouse..so Todd assured me we could still install that week! And it happened!! I was very pleased! When the warehouse ran out of the proper sink I ordered Todd located one and had someone bring it out promptly so I wouldnt have to wait till the next week to install that! These guys made it right and I am very satisfied!JUST BE SURE TO HAVE YOUR 75% Down or your material will NOT be ordered!!

We recently finished a kitchen backsplash with some great glass tile that was affordable and available for pick up the same day. Joanna worked very hard to get us the best tile and was considerate of our overall satisfaction. The new showroom is wide open with a lot of options. Go check them out for your next project.

Great value on cabinets and granite, but the customer service process can be frustrsting. Bring your patience and be willing to wait and youll be fine. I cannot comment on cabinet install as I did it myself, but granite install was well done.

They, cut the slab backwards at first, but I got a great price and the owner personally came and installed the handles and apologized for the mix-up. The quality is great, the prices are low, and they have an owner that cares. We all can make a mistake, but it takes someone to care to fix it and fix it right. I would definitely recommend this company! I was trying to decide between two different quartz countertop colors and somehow the wrong one got listed on the invoice... so they cut the wrong color countertop. When we realized it was the wrong color, they didnt give me any difficultly and promptly re-cut the correct one. Im guessing other companies would have tried to blame me for the mistake, but they didnt. I appreciate them working quickly to resolve this! Also, about 3 months after the install I needed another hole cut in the countertop. They sent out Wayne to drill another hole and he was super friendly, showed up on time, and got it done. Im glad I chose A1 Kitchen and Bath!

This store is the best granite and cabinet store in Omaha! A1 kitchen and bath has a wide selection of granite and cabinets. They have the best prices in omaha and they got the job done quick. I would highly recommend A1 kitchen and bath.

We started construction on our house the week of fourth of July. Our granite was the last thing we truly needed to complete our job. (other than the fine details.) We worked with Aly at A1 and was very helpful and was willing to work over email. We paid in full to avoid any interest. So you know that they accept half the payment as deposit and when you install you pay the rest or you may accrued interest after 3 days.(Good to know right!) The gentlemen who installed were very nice and knowledgeable. One guy was not a morning person but got better thru the day. Note: They can not move anything with plumbing or a gas line. I had to have my neighbor turn off my gas line and move my stove. Though I appreciate that they dont want to be held liable it would have been great to know ahead of time. My granite looks wonderful. Be open with them and if you have any questions about care ask them they will give you some great tips and tricks for care. Like if you have light colored granite you may want to seal it twice a year instead of annually. Also if you have a granite sink (ours is black) he said when it starts to look like a chalkboard to use baby oil and let it soak and then rinse with water. :) Great people to work with.

Will not return phone calls. Plumbers needed measurements on my center island called several times always being told they would call me right back. It’s been two days and still no phone call!! Called again today! Had to guess on my measurements. Very unprofessional

We have only had our granite countertops and stainless steel sink 1 year and the sink is coming apart from the granite! The guy fixing our sink says this should not happen!

4 out of 9 granite cuts were measured incorrectly and had to be recut 2-4 times, often in the house, creating a huge mess. A job that should have taken 3hrs, took 2 days & 10 hrs. The sink was 1st cut out backwards & 2nd cut did not take into account back splash so there wasnt room for a normal faucet. Then sink put in crooked. Had to hire own plumber to fix.

These guys were very nice, but the end result was not good. We bought quite inferior cabinets that were not well made. They were not finished properly and now we have lots of places where they expanded, leaving unstained streaks all over the place. The install was inferior as well. Some of the cabinets just wont open,as there is no room for them to get past drawers and other panels in the corner units. Corner cabinets area real problem. It also took about four months to get the cabinets.

Horrible customer service.Worked with Todd on what should have been a simple in and out order for two small bathroom vanity tops. Paid for the order in full and showed up on the agreed upon pick up date and that’s when the games began. Emailed back and forth with him and called via phone always to receive answer “I will get back with you”. Rarely did he follow thru.Finally received the vanity tops and the sinks are off center. There was one extra piece that they agreed to make and in the end they ended up not honoring what had been provided in writing.Proceed with caution if looking at doing business with this group.Is unfortunate because may be looking for kitchen cabinets sometime and absolutely no way I will consider using them again.I am most disappointed regarding the fact that any communication regarding my order had to be driven completely and fully by me - many promises were made to reach back out and it never happened.

My experience with A1 Kitchen and Bath went from great to horrible almost over night.You will find that everything is roses while you are in the estimate, planning, design phase of your experience with A1. The staff is attentive, responsive and pleasant. Once you sign on the dotted line everything changes! You become a number in their otherwise unorganized chaotic mess!Return phone calls and emails stop. We had an issue with a pantry door we purchased for a pre-existing cabinet space. It wasnt anything like the design or what we thought we were getting. This started the mess that is A1. The sales staff is given no authority to discuss any issues with customers so you are left waiting and waiting to hear a response from the owner Jimmy.Jimmy micromanages all of his staff and has to have his hands in each and every part of the business so hes busy all the time an unavailable. Communication between the staff and Jimmy doesnt exist which leads to customer services issues. Youll try to keep on top of it with your sales person but they wont call you back for days.We waited 2 months and had to suffer through 7 emails and phone calls to finally get the trash can that should have come with our original cabinet order. TOTALLY RIDICULOUS!I could go on with more details from our experience but Ill spare you - you get the jist.We started our kitchen remodel project with A1 in December received the cabinets just before Christmas and we are still dealing with odds and ends on this project 2.5 months later.Do yourself a favor and pick another company for your kitchen and bath needs. Choosing A1 you will find yourself frustrated and wasting your time running circles trying to get answers from Jimmy and his staff.

We are on the second kitchen with A1, and they are always quick, professional, with high quality materials & installation. Wayne is great at measuring and can foresee outcomes and knows all the right questions to ask for the best results. If he has suggestions, I Always listen! Not to mention amazing deals and selection. I have never seen such a selection anywhere!When doing countertops, I have realized, the best way is to have cabinets set and fastened down. Layout must be done. That way when they come to measure, you have no loose ends or room for error due to home owner unpreparedness. Once countertops and sink are in, thats when you have plumber out must come back. It seems some people are doing it in wrong chronological order that are commenting here.If you live in the property that needs countertops, you may have to go without a sink unless you put a temporary sink in. You can’t expect people who do countertops and set sinks to give measurements to your “plumber” so he knows what he needs to hook up plumbing. Your plumber needs to come after sink is done and figure out what is needed then. A good plumber will have most materials on his truck, or be willing to go buy the materials needed.

Please never use A1 Kitchen and Bath!! Horrible experience and would never recommend anyone to them. Anne was very forgetful and every decision she made had to be thru Jimmy. They did a horrible on the installation of my granite and had to come back another day to make repairs. They never return your calls or emails. Please if you want new granite go with another company!
