Food n getting car work done at the same time. How could you beat that

Great place for quick oil change! And fantastic place for breakfast.

Terrible! Took in car making noise in front drivers side wheel, they said it was the back breaks and strut, spent $700.00 to get it fixed, picked it up making same noise, took it right back and the R front brake had been seized up all that time. They let me drive it home when it wasn’t safe, thank god.... because the car sure didn’t go back there!

Always have great service here. Never quote me anything I dont need and have answered my questions when I asked them about a concern Ive had with my vehicle. Today I went to them with a problem and they had it taken care of and back on the road with no headaches or pains to my bank account.

What an amazing family run business. I felt like I was home with my family. Being from Louisiana and homesick, it was lovely to have such a great experience. My car was ready very quickly and at a great price! Thank You. I highly recommend them.

This place was great, great staff, very informative and they had food if youre hungry while waiting. I really appreciate the attentiveness and prompt service they provided. I will definitely be back, and I highly recommend this place.

Great people. Great service. Stupid (new) battery failed and vehicle wouldnt start when they went to take it in for inspection. No big to them, they jumped free and did inspection. Could have charged and I would have gladly paid. But now they have a customer for life.

Was able to create a NYS Inspection Appt. day-of. I then had complications where I couldnt make the appt time, called and they said no worries just come in when youre able to later today. I did just that, had a great sandwich & beverage while waiting, and some good conversation. The wait time was exactly as long as it took to enjoy my meal. What a cool place! Action Lube? More like Reaction-Rude! Ive given them one star that they dont deserve, only because you have to in order to write a review. I put my car in here a couple times to have some parts changed. First, its important to know that they will charge you extra fees if you purchase and provide your own parts, because they want you to use their parts so they can overcharge you for them, despite your parts being of much better quality than theirs. I have always purchased my own parts when bringing my vehicles in just to have them changed and this is the only place that has ever attempted to charge me a fee for doing so, that should have been an indication of what was to come. My car was dropped off there and they had it for over a week. Never called to discuss anything, the next time we heard from them was to pick it up. I was working, so my boyfriend and his brother went to pick up my car. They paid, were given the keys and headed out and when they started driving realized that the issue was no different from when it went in, so they turned around and went back to ask why it wasnt running any different, after all we just paid over $600 for the work that was done, with not one word being mentioned by anyone about the issue not being resolved, when clearly it was still present. Upon their return to the shop a couple mins later my boyfriend went in and said the car is not driving any different, rather than offer any type of explanation, or description of the work and services performed, the owners husband comes running over screaming, swearing and making incoherent statements and prompted by his fathers theatrics, the scrawny little son comes out as well and starts screaming and yelling and making threats. My boyfriend is a very mild mannered police officer and his brother is a retired detective, both are courteous, intelligent, and self respecting enough to see they were dealing with a lower class of person, and they were certainly not going to engage in a confrontation with these unprofessional disgusting slobs, so they left and lodged a complaint with the state. If the issue had not been resolved that should have been communicated at the time of the payment. The vehicle was then taken a week later to Nats Automotive in Oneonta, where they went over the entire vehicle back to front, inspected the work that was performed by the previous clowns and gave a detailed printout showing that the job would cost approximatrly $128.00, and that was in total to perform the job with parts and the labor for the service that Action Lube was supposed to perform and did not, (yet somehow tallied up a bill of over $600.00), it was also discovered they did not flush any of the appropriate lines, or perform any of the standard routine service that comes with a job of the sort, which further added to the issue at hand. Be careful if you use this place and if you question anything about their work, be prepared to see them go ballistic and put on a display of aggression, hostility, and defensiveness. If you want an honest estimate and quality work done, go to Nats Automotive over by the Depot, at least they are upfront and forthcoming. I was also advised that the $380.00 I was charged on my initial visit to Reaction-RUDE for them to change spark plugs was extremely excessive and unreasonable and that they were clearly taking advantage of me, which was confirmed by two different shops and shop owners. Obviously everyone has their own unique experiences in these situations, unfortunately for me, I was taken advantage of on two separate occasions and didnt know it until after the fact. Use caution and if you go to this dreadful place, and make sure any time you go for vehicle maintainence or service that you do so with an approximate idea of what the job and parts should cost you, so you can avoid being taken for a ride.

This place is the best in oneonta !! they know what they are doing, they dont try to charge you for things you dont need.. awesome family owned and run business .. and there food for while you wait is amazing :)love this place
