Its exactly what you would expect in a chain ice cream/ fast food joint. However during my visit the blizzard was runny and took forever due to the lack of adequate staff. They were trying their best to keep up with the crowd.

It was THE SLOWEST service I have EVER had at a Dairy Queen. You wait in line to order and pay. Then you wait in another line to get your order. It took FOREVER to get my order completed. They did not serve my Blizzard upside down like every other DQ Ive been to either.

This is an awesome day-night snack to get some cold blizzards, ice cream, cake, and or drinks. I would give the ice cream five stars along with everything else. The service is a little long but I cant blame them most of the time I go its with my family of 6. The employees are very nice and considerate. So Id give this a 5 star. And the price is pretty reasonable.

We are so lucky to have Dairy Queen in Oneonta. Great service. All the staff is trained very well in customer service, always smiling faces to greet you! Bill does an incredible job supporting Oneonta and surrounding communities. Also very happy the Snickers Blizzard is back for all us gluten free people!

Will not go back. Wanted to charge me $1.25 extra to make a banana split blizzard when they have all of the ingredients right there. Also charge extra for whip cream and or nuts on a sundae. Ill make the drive to the polar bear from now on....

I would have gave 5 stars but the service was slow. Our food and ice cream were great but we waited 17 minutes just to order and then an additional 8 minutes for our food. There was 3 people working but 2 of them were just standing around while the one girl was running incircles. .

Horrible customer service. I went last night and ordered, and I quote, a small blizzard with vanilla ice cream and heath bar. When they brought out my blizzard, it was soupy and had loads of chocolate syrup in it, which I did not ask for. When I told them I didnt want the chocolate syrup, the snarky cashier said well thats how we make it with the heath bar. I kindly asked for her to make me a new one and explained that I did not know it came with chocolate syrup, since I simply ordered vanilla ice cream w/ Heath. Then the girl said that I would have to pay for the one with chocolate syrup if I wanted a new one. I asked for the manager and both teenage workers rudely said he was not in and wont be until the next day. I will NEVER come back to this Dairy Queen. Whether or not that was store policy, they were extremely rude and short with me.

If u get the dairy free ice cream it has almost no flavor except the chocolate.

I love that we actually have a DQ, but when they close a deep dark depression settles over me, and I cry every single night until they open again. So far Im about a month in my DQ hibernation and Im starving. please.... come back.

Opens too late, closes too early, prices out of the sky. If there was some real product in the ice cream it might taste better, probably only 3 to 4 per cent butter fat content. Not like real ice cream. Sorry, Im used to the DQs down south in Kentucky, they are a whole lot better.

Google hours need to be updated esp if someone is driving 40 minutes out to go to DQ. the employees need to be trained on how to explain to a customer that its different hours than on Google. Not lock the window once we get to the window and the ignore us and not make any eye contact as if we didnt come. Unless she was scared we were going to steal all the icecream .

Seemed to just be a walk-up window, unlike most Dairy Queens that Ive been to in the past. Those DQ places were more like a fast food place where you went inside.The service was friendly, quick and efficient. It kinda reminded me of a Hokey Pokey.

Good for ice cream and maybe a snack. Does not carry the full extended DQ menu of entrees and meals - however has a few sandwiches, hot dogs, and some other items.

Outdoor window service with picnic tables. Limited menu, but still enough options. Food and beverage served at proper temperature. I would go again.

They have giant cones and the ice cream is only in the middle. Leaving a 1/2 inch rims with no ice cream. Dont get that one.

A couple teenage boys working gave us great service, which generally isnt the norm.

Ok it is a dairy queen... so get the Blizzard... .. The Orange Julius was a nice surprise... Clean quick service.

The milkshakes are really good even if they are made by stoned college kids, although maybe thats why they are so good.

When I went they only had soft-serve and the guy couldnt figure out how to dip it in chocolate.

Good food. Great ice cream. Long wait. I have NEVER seen a DQ without at least 2 ppl on staff! Yesterday there was only one very competent young woman working feverishly by herself. Bad for her customers who all waited patiently, bad for her to be expected to handle a mad rush all by herself, and very bad for DQs reputation! I am glad we went 55 - 60 miles to revisit my childhood since we still do not have a DQ returning to the Binghamton area (or an Orange Julius for that matter). But I am disappointed that the local management failed its staff so miserably! Youd better wake up to your staffing needs! Your loyal patrons may soon decide to start walking away, instead of standing in line for a half hour at a time!
