I was thrilled to see that they had frozen custard! It was perfect! Mom liked her peanut sundae, too. This place also has food. It has a homey feel to its decor.

Something for everyone. Lactose free, gluten free options. Soft serve, Perrys hard ice cream flavors, snow cones, mix-ins galore. Order at the window or go inside. Open until 10 pm during summer, 5pm other seasons; closed Sundays.

The food here is pretty good, but it’s also very fried and that’s not really my thing. I prefer fresh food. I guess that’s just a preference thing, and what I’ve had here, was very good! So I can’t really complain! And plus, the ice cream is soo good! Which is what the store is known for, right? So I have to give it four stars for that!!

Ice cream was delicious, wait staff were excellent... however you are still unable to go inside at the time Im writing this 7-2-20 due to the pandemic/covid-19. Luckily it was a beautiful day and we ate away from people at the park.

Dairy free soft serve is delicious and the flavors rotate! Love the indoor and outdoor spaces and fun merry-go-round.

The canolli flavor is exactly what you would expect and just as delicious. Scratch all other ice cream shops off your list and make this your only go to. If there were a flaw, it would be that they dont offer mocha chip.

The Arctic something is like a Blizzard from Dairy Queen, and the cheesecake one is awesome. Theres a fenced in yard with grass and shade and picnic tables if you have little kids. 😊

The place is busy all season long.If youre in Oneonta and you get an ice cream cake from anywhere but the Golden Guernsey, chances are you were supposed to get it from the Golden Guernsey but forgot to order it and are taking what you can get instead. :-)
