Car came out great and was delivered on time. I know its hard to get paint to match on multiple types of surfaces, my car was a mix of carbon, fiberglass, polyurethane, and metal, i decided to let the pros handle it. Thomas, mike and chris had great communication and Chris even facetimed me and stayed late to wait for the tow truck to take delivery and bring the car back to my possession. They even polished my headlights. Ive been receiving nothing but compliments.

Met the owner a couple of years ago in passing through a mutual friend. Didnt talk to him again until about a year later when I was referred to him by someone else when I was asking about how to repair some body panels and other paint issues on my Lexus GS300. Wasnt sure if hed remember me but I called him and mentioned the person who referred him to me.He was like oh yeah, I think I remember you. (I dont think he did.) ha Anyways, I asked him all sorts of questions and he was very receptive and willing to give me advice on how to do the repairs, what tools to use and best materials I needed. How detailed is that???Instead of saying bring it in and then trying to sell me his services, he knew I wanted to do and try the repairs myself. Im sure he realized I wasnt going to bring it in but he really seemed to enjoy sharing his knowledge to help me out. And I only met him once...in passing. What does that say about a persons character? When it comes time to paint the exterior, who do you think Im going to trust with my car? Mike of IDesigns of course. Thanks for all the information and advice!!!

UPDATE: gave them a chance to fix their mistakes. I was lied to again, and my car was kept for 6 weeks without being touched. I finally drove down and got my car back due to quarantine. Please learn from me and do not come here; no matter what they promise it is all lies. Even the employees when I went admitted they were never told to work on the car and had no idea it had been sitting there. Lloyd admitted they have a lot of unhappy customers. If thats what your own employees are saying it cant be good. Please Beware!! This company is unprofessional and will lie to you. Im now afraid driving my car worried about my families safety and as a hospice nurse I use my car daily for driving to patients. I gave them my car June 21st and did not get it back until August 22nd, and it was not easy. During that time I was told by Mike that I would be sent my documents which I never received. I was told additional expenses needed to be submitted to my insurance which they were not. I was told my car would be ready soon, just another week, but when I arrived I found my car filthy and out in the sun pretty much untouched and unlocked. I spoke with Lloyd his partner, I found out they were still needing to order parts and my car wouldnt be ready till Agusut 15th. During this time I also was renting a car, as my insurance only quoted the job a week, and they never submitted any extensions I was paying out of pocket. Mike said not to worry they would help with the rental. As all the updates i had gotten were lies, I let them know if they couldnt finish/start the job to please give me back my money (almost 7,000 grand, Mike told me no worries on the $500 deductible), and Ill go elsewhere. Both Mike and Lloyd assured me that my car will be done August 15th, but that day came and as I drive down there yet again my car was still not finished. They sent out another employee to tell me that there had been some miscommunication and that they were not actually open on Sundays so they werent sure why I was told to come down and that my car is still needed another week. So pretty much wasted my time even though both Mike and Lloyd knew my car wasnt finished. By the time I finally got my car back it wasnt till 7pm Agusut 23rd. And guess what, my car still wasnt finished and NO invoice There are pieces missing, paint was chipped when I saw it in the AM, the headlights and front bumper were not set in properly, weather stripping under my hood uneven, wrong color grill, they used zip ties to the down my air intake. Overall you can tell it was rushed, because it was sloppy work. Also despite giving them my car with a full Reservoir of wiper fluid, I got mine back empty only too find when I replaced it that it was broken and they had willing hid it. I still have no gotten reimbursed nor had my car repaired again as they would fix their mistakes despite multiple texts and phone calls. Just the stress of having to deal with all this, and realizing Im at lost made me pass all this to my attorney to deal with. Even though Ill have to pay him, at least Ill see some of my money back, and be able to fix my car properly.

I was recommended to this shop by a friend and they quoted paint and bodywork on my motorcycle. The owner, Mike, estimated three weeks and asked for a 10% deposit to start the work and promised to store the bike indoors on the trickle charger. When I gave them a credit card over the phone, they charged 100% of the estimate and the Supervisor told me he was just doing what he was told, I would have to talk to Mike about anything. One month later, Mike told me all the paint was done and they were reinstalling headlight/taillight.Two months later I took off a day of work and drove over to see they had not touched the bike. Mike confirmed 3 days before that he would meet me there. When I arrived he was not in the shop and would not answer his phone, the supervisor told me I had to talk to the Mike. Bike was left outside and covered with dust and bondo, aluminum parts had faded from black to brown due to UV light, and the trickle charger I left for them was not used. When he finally answered my call days later, Mike said they hadnt worked on it because it was hot in the summer which made everyone sick! How absurd but at least it was a creative excuse! Promised to finish the work and deliver the bike in one month. Two months later I took a trailer determined to pick the motorcycle up no matter the status. Found it as I had left it, Mike happened to show up (first time I ever saw him!!), apologized and told me I was cool for not making a big deal. Promised to refund my deposit. Two weeks later, no refund, but Mike tells me hes sorry and doesnt want to burn bridges, just didnt have enough cash in his account. I requested a credit through my card provider and they informed that iDesign was disputing my claim! Eventually I was forced to report the matter as fraud, now I have a dirty motorcycle with a faded finish and a dead battery.

I had an accident in Big Bear 12/26/2015. I have a 2015 WRX that I took off the lot with less than 10 miles on it.I took my car to idesigns but should have dug deeper on their reviews. HUGE MISTAKE.The car needed repair/paint to a right headlight and front bumper and hood, ac was acting funny too. After a 5 weeks we go to check on the car and they hadnt even started it. I get the car back two months after drop off (last day of february) and the ac doesnt work and the paint chips with any slight wind that blows. Really, there were like 20 chips in the bumper come summer time. Mind you my car does 30 miles of freeway commuting with traffic 5 days a week (slow speeds) .Its getting warm and the ac not working is a huge issue. I call and call and leave voice-mail but they dont respond until I review them on yelp.Drop off to fix again was 7/8. Owner Mike says theyll have this done in 7 days and will reimburse for rental car fees. The shop is on the way home from work so I drive there and the car sat without being touched for 3 weeks. Next the car is moved but I doubt they started it then. There are emails and emails. Promises that the car will be done only to receive late emails telling me itll be another week. Then another. Then another.I am finally told the car is ready for pick up. I go and they hadnt even touched the front bumper! This was 2 months later!!! Rental car fees are now over $1,200 on our credit card. Then I go to pick it up 10/8 and the hood is not aligned, the front bumper sticks out on one side and the ac does its own thing with temperature and speed. The owner Mike knew hed owe for the rental car but is now dodging me to pay.Theres $2,000+ in fees plus interest and on top of that Im having to make payments to the card when this is not for me to pay in the first place. Heres the kicker: I didnt take a rental out for the first two weeks and I was also out of town for another week so I saved them 3 whole weeks from rental fees. AND I found deals through expedia to help them out.Total time they had my car this year: 5 months.Total fixed issues: they replaced a headlight. Bumper, hood, and AC still not good.Charges on our credit card: $2,000+ .There is more than one review on yelp that sounds like my experience.
