Jessica L. helped my husband and I about a year ago at a different location and we had heard she moved to the Ontario location when it was time for my routine check up. We decided to drive from Riverside to Ontario Mills just to get helped by her. She has always been so friendly and we absolutely love her service. I have recommended all of my family members and friends to go get helped from her at Lens Crafters. She is well knowledge, and even when it is busy she makes sure to answer all of your questions. I just want to share my experience with the assistant store manager Irving, he really went above and beyond to make sure I was being helped. I came in desperate need of new glasses and he made sure that I was able to get my glasses done the same day even though they were experiencing technical difficulties with their lab. Great place to go I always had problems with my glasses coming to lens crafters has been one of my best decisions they work well and help with any questions. I came in for an eye exam and eye wear, but left with more than that. The employees are all friendly and professional. I went through the eye exam. The doctor was very caring and educated. He went above and beyond to make sure I was getting the care I needed by other doctors for my diabetes and high blood pressure as it has been effecting my vision. His exam was very thorough. Im confident that Ill be seeing my best with my new prescription.Then, when I thought it couldnt any better, I met Natalie. She is the lady that will help you with your glasses. The experience she gave me could me closely compared to a VIP, Hollywood treatment. She was very knowledgeable and has great taste. She took time to get to know me and my taste in glasses. She allowed me to sit comfortably while she went through the store to pick a selection of eye wear for me to choose from.She then allowed me to try them on. She asked a co-worker to sit in with her to give me more feed back on how the glasses looked as I tried them on. It was like having that special friend you bring shopping with you because theyre good at helping you find the best outfits and making those decisions about what look good on you. It was sooo much fun.I ended up with a fabulous pair of sunglasses and a regular pair of glasses I would not have gotten on my own. Because of the time and professional, fun feedback Natalie gave me, I had transformational experience. I know when I put on these glasses, I can confidently walk around knowing Im wearing the best in product and looking my best in eyewear.One last plus, I found that even though I was out of network with my insurance, I paid less and got more than I did with my last in-network Optometrist. I want to give a shout out to Irving the assistant store manager. This was my third time here trying to figure out my glasses. I am having some problems with the correct prescription for my eyes. Irving sat down with me, went through my file and asked me questions so he could catch up on what was going on. He took a genuine interest in finding out how best to help me. He sat down with a few boxes that had some special glasses and a bunch of different lens in them and went through the ones we needed to so he could fine tune and make sure my prescription was correct. He went on to do some remeasuring and helped me pick out a different set of frames that he thinks will work better with my progressive lenses. Thank you Irving and to management, Irving is a great asset to your company. Cant wait to pick up my new glasses, fingers crossed. :)

I went for my first appointment and have not been able to stop thinking about my time at this location. That is because of the horrible and shocking customer service from employee Natalie at the Ontario mills location. She threw my prescription at me once my eye exam was over. She did not think I heard her but she muttered the B word when I asked if I could look at the frames. She advised me she was too busy and did not have time. I have been too embarrassed to go back since to choose frames. She gave off signs of being intoxicated and I felt frightened since she is abnormally tall and I am a very petite woman, I felt she may hurt me at one point because she came so close to me with her freakishly shaped shoulder like she was going to push me into the glass containers. I am not sure why such a professional establishment would allow someone with such lack of class and care to work there. I would also like to make a point that she was looking down my shirt the whole time and may have became angry with me because I pulled my shirt up. I do not judge people but you should keep your sexual aggressions at the door when you go to work.
Bad webpage and bad calling service had appointment before store opens try calling and store mentions its close missed appointment because of webpage error and no one to reach for help. Missed appointment time because of their error and was told to make new appointment or wait as needed for someone to cancel. Assistant mangager could care less.

I went in for a visit in October the 14 of this year and was seeking for a new update on my glasses per recommendation via friend to Natalie. While I was there she was very suggestive and forward to my unliking and made me feel very uncomfortable. I find it very hard to believe that a corporation like this would allow females like this to act this way so openly. Would not suggest to anyone or visit again.
Natalie was an exceptional consultant she provided us comfort, knowledge, overall a great experience.

Minerva the assistant manager has such a nasty attitude. When I asked her why my total was so high when I know my insurance vsp covers most of it. She said ohh were out of network. Then I said ohh I see. Am I going to get a copy of my rx ? She said IF THE PAYMENT GOES THROUGH I said why wouldnt it go through? I got the money ?!?!. She ignored me and proceeded to talk to her colleagues. The doctor was great but Minerva attitude and comments were uncalled for. Will NOT be returning because of her. I had no problem with paying but simply wanted to understand why the fee was high. Horrible to assume my financial situation. I paid with my debit card by the way. I got the money which is why I wasnt sweating the cost but her comment was very RUDE AND UNCALLED FOR.Edit....the owner of the optometry office responded. The doctors are GREAT ! both my son and I got got exams and both doctors were great. The issue is with lenscrafters themselves.

Even with the mall being closed due to Covid, they are still open. I made an appt and the girl called and let me know to call them and they will let you into the building. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. My eye doctor was thorough and very nice. It only took me a couple of min to pick a frame I like out of their vast selection. Glasses should be ready in a couple of hours which is the whole reason I come to Lenscrafters but now I can say its also their good customer service.

By far the best eye glass experience I have ever had. Got examined ahead of schedule, went over in depth how my eyes are doing, got my new glasses within a few hours. Definitely recommend coming here.

If I could give a negative star I would. Ive been going to this location for a few years already. I had the worst experience on 9/22/19. My husband and I went to get our yearly eye exam. They did not verify our eligibility before going in but they put us through. When we had chosen our glasses and they were going to pull our benefits the girl that was helping us told me my husband was not coming up. I checked my app and little to know he was not showing.I have been paying my premiums for years and there has been no change. Well any how, I dont understand why didnt they check before to have avoided all of this. So I end up paying cash for all of his and my glasses $1000+. This is something that could have been avoided. I had spoken to a manager who told me that when I fixed the problem all I would have to call and they would pull his benefits and adjust the amount due. I call this morning and they tell me I have to go in. Really! I keept getting the run around and know I have to go in and waste my time for a mistake they did.To top it off the girl that initially helped us was so rude and had a frustrated face. She would have not been frustrated if they would have verified our benefits in the first place. Imagine how frustrated I was. I wanted a black transition on my glasses, which now I know it doesnt exist only on Oakleys. She told me yeah you could get it. I get my glasses guess what, they have a grey transition if I would have known in the beginning i would have not paid $300.Please make sure if you go here that your benefits are checked to avoid all this. I work 40+ hours a week and now I have to waste my time again to go in and deal with these people. Im sorry to say this but this younger generation feels they know more than this 40 year old. Guess what, you dont. You made a mistake. Which is ok to make mistakes but dont feel superior that you know it all. They lost my business. And guess what I have a private insurance and not medical. Lost my business.

LensCrafters used to be great. Friendly, helpful and fast. Not anymore. Just as I walked in the door, the receptionist saw me and turned and walked away. She was too busy flirting with a co-worker to bother with a customer. Then, after waiting 10 minutes, she asked if she could help me. I needed a screw replaced on my frames. We might be able to get to it in 2 hours or so. Seriously, 2 hours?I went to the Target right around the corner, was greeted like family and had my glasses repaired in about 5 minutes.Ill never go back to a LensCrafters again.
Needed eye exam, Dr. Nguyen saw me. Had great appointment, Dr. Is very professional and friendly. I needed referral due to another eye condition, received it on the spot AND she followed up to see how i was doing. Highly recommend her.

I waited two hours good my glasses and after not getting a follow up call, I decided to return to the store to be told the machine was down! I was so.... upset. After getting my glasses this time around, I am bee going there again.
I have called 4 times asking for an email of my prescription. The first time I was promised it would be emailed to me in 10 minutes. It was not. The next day I was told it would be emailed to me. It was not. I called in again, was put on hold for a 25 minute call, then hung up on. I called AGAIN, they acknowledged that they couldnt find my records and would email them to me once they found it. I asked to verify what email they would sent it to - they hung up on me.

I ordered 4 different Blue IQ lenses, and each time it was a special order (anywhere from 7-14 business days). I set up the texting option, & received a text each time a pair was ready. The staff is very knowledgeable, & although very busy at times, they are still very helpful. Dr. Lam’s staff at Eyekonic Family Optometry is new, but they are absolutely amazing & thorough with their exams. Definitely recommend Ontario!

I had a great experience at the Lenscrafters in Ontario Mills. I broke my glasses and needed new ones ASAP, so I called Lenscrafters... and the doctor was able to see me the same day! Dr. Kim was awesome and very knowledgeable. The girl that helped me with the glasses was very nice and helpful as well. Luckily they had my lenses, so I was able to get my glasses in an hour.

Went their twice past three years, great optometrist, however bad service. Most personnel working are conversating than helping. Went on appointment still had to wait on walkins, than had to fill out forms even though that should have been done will wait. Than sat for 20 mins doing nothing will conversations were going on. Went their on sale both Times to purchase two pair each time. Oakley is my brand, and up paying same price each visit. Over 2500 spent on top quality custom made glasses. Not worth sale, Walmart better and lower price, and doesnt come from some manufacturer.
Ive been buying glasses from LensCrafters for more than 20 years, almost 10 years at this location. Ive almost always been happy. I had one bad experience when they sold me a pair of prescription dark glasses that fell apart in a year and they just sort of shrugged about it, like Oh, well. Sun damage. Well, gee, why didnt you tell me that might be an issue when you sold them to me? Im not sure about having my eyes tested here. I wasnt happy the last time, which was two years ago. They told me I had cataracts but didnt tell me how bad they were. I decided to see an opthamologist and ultimately had the cataracts removed. He sent me to a local optomestrist, who did the most thorough job anyone has ever done. But then she high-pressured me into expensive glasses and I ended up taking my prescription back to LenCrafters where they gave me what I wanted at a much better price. I think Ill continue to get my exams elsewhere but will definitely continue to buy my glasses here.

Went in for an eye exam and prescription, had some doubts and worries but Im glad I came here, Dr. Lee was informative and made everything understandable and she was really nice, and answered all my questions. I usually dont leave reviews but I pretty much had to since I had a great experience.
What made them worth the effort to pay retail (glasses ready in an hour) is no longer the case unless you select 5% of what they do onsite.
Second time coming here and never in my life will I go back to this place. Ive been waiting for a month and 2 weeks for my contacts. Everytime I call they tell me that theyre still wating. Dont take it serious. I payed 80 dollars for nothing. Very disappointed!!!
