My kids and I always have a great experience when we have appts. The staff and the doctor are very friendly and great. I would 100% recommend them to anyone who needs a good optometrist.

I have been a patient of Dr. Simpson for a few years now. I’ve had nothing but great experiences with his staff and him personally while at his office. Due to the Covid Pandemic and other reasons I have not visited the office or had an exam for almost 2 years. I recently had an exam and all was the same great experience, all but my interaction with an employee Rose. I have a an eye disorder that is best remedied with the use of contacts. Due to the eye disorder it has been rather tricky and time consuming to create a pair of contacts that fit well and provide me with the vision to function and safely drive. The last time I was in for a checkup (2 years ago) I picked up a pair of glasses, however the time before (3 years or a bit longer) I started the process to get contacts. I was probably in for a few fittings at that time but because of the time and ongoing vision issues I decided to pass on the contact and get glasses instead. I remember that at this time Rose advised me of the issue with my insurance not covering my lens fittings because of my decision to get glasses instead but wasn’t fully aware of the issue. Flash forward to yesterday’s visit on 8/25/21- I went through the routine, met with Dr. Simspon and had, I felt, the best eye exam I’ve ever had. He spent a great deal of time (unrushed) with me dialing in my new vision prescription and we even discussed possibly getting contacts, again. It turned out that my condition stabilized and improved to the point that a new contact brand might benefit me. I tested the contacts and was able to see comfortably with no pain, and the contacts were actually fitting properly! After discussing with the Dr about this new possibility of better vision for my condition we made our way out to provide Rose the details for having this proves billed to insurance. Unfortunately, I wasn’t aware of the grudge that Rose had with me regarding the situation almost 3 years back and she rudely began to scold me for not following through with contacts the previous time I initiated the contacts process. She mentioned that they weren’t going to pay for the bill again if I, Dr and her weren’t on the same page that I would have to pay cost to insurance if I chose to not follow through with the contacts this time. Not wanting to be rude to her I asked how much it would cost me if this happened again. She was hesitant to proceed but after Dr and I explained ourselves to her she began to process the order.I understand that this was an issue three years ago, but to be scolded for something that relates to my vision was unnecessary. If she understood my condition and was aware of how time consuming the process of repeated fittings is maybe she would have kept her rude comments to herself. Unfortunately, I as the patient and paying customer was scolded for making the best decision for my vision. I am not upset or embarrassed, but don’t appreciate being spoken to rudely or like a child in a place of business. There are more professional ways to communicate.

Very nice people but NOT ophthalmologists as advertised on Google. I specifically told them I was coming to get checked for cataracts and if surgery was needed have it all done at one place.All they wanted to do was sell me very expensive lenses and referred me to a “real doctor”. I wasted a whole dat and a Lyft ride home because of having my eyes dailated.

I am not one for rating, but definitely five stars to Mann and Simpsons for my second year with them as my optometrists, and networking with me;

Both my husband and myself were worried about going to the eye doctor. It has been years since our last experience, WHICH WAS HORRIBLE! When we entered the office everyone was FANTASTIC! From beginning to end! Dr. Irene Park, Janie, Lora, and Adriana were so PROFESSIONAL, FRIENDLY and UNBELIEVABLE! We would recommend EVERYONE to this office. Words are not enough to say about how they TRULY CARE about you. Everything was explained so we could understand about our VISION. They have us for life! THANK YOU!

Just had my eye checked and prescription fill with Simpson Optomtry.I found Dr. Mann, pleasant and I received the best exam Ive had in years.The new glasses are sharp and clear unlike my last prescription by the previous Dr.Dr. Mann is a very pleasant person, but if you like stiff necked Drs, then go to another doctor that is just to serious and not to personal.I expected my glasses two weeks after exam. They were there in one week.

Dr. Mann is an excellent optometrist. He is caring, thorough, and knowledgeable. I always enjoy my appointments which is something I could never say about other optometrists. He is great at assessing, evaluating, recommending, and prescribing. Thank you Dr. Mann.

Great staff and Dr Mann really makes it a pleasant experience. Hes very nice and just has very lovely attitude. Ive been coming here since I was 13 (38 now but different Drs back then) and now I bring my kids here as well. Ive never had an issue or bad moment here. Highly recommend.

I have been here on two separate occasions as a walk in. I was not currently a patient at this office at the time but I after the great service provided I had to make the change. Considering I was a walk in I was seen in a matter of 10-15 min on both occasions. The staff there is very nice and the doctor is amazing.

Simpson and Mann Optometry provides the highest quality care along with the most friendly and caring staff. Dr. Manns knowledge, experience, professionalism and patient care are incredible. He and his staff are arguably the best there is in the Optometry profession.

I am under Monique Santa Rosa with them.Through out the years, they have been one of the most wonderful Dr’s appt experiences I have ever had.Most don’t really like going to the Dr let alone an Eye Dr, always a great experience.Staff is wonderful. Dr’s take their time to listen to you and their interaction with you is great.

I have been going to them for over 10 years and they are extremely nice and professional. I believe they have 3 optometrists in their practice and all of them are very friendly and helpful. They have a portion of their waiting room designated for kids and their facility is always very clean.

I just wanted to leave a review Im not a patient here but I called over 10 places Friday morning at 8 am since at 3am I scratched my cornea with my acrylic nails trying to take off my contacts in my sleep like a dumb ass! I wE screaming in pain And the Dr personally called me back gave me advice since the ER and urgent care couldnt with out seeing me and I had no one to drive me and babysit my kids and it felt alot of relief right away following his instructions thank you so much !! I already went to the ER and can finally see from my eye !

I have been going here for years and now with the addition of Dr. Mann it is even better he is a fantastic doctor and great with the little ones too!

Horrible customer service, front desk lady is very rude she has no customer service skills. Spoke to her over the phone, told her we were picking up glasses we get there and theyre closed, shes not courteous enough to say that they close for lunch. Then she gives out glasses without getting them adjusted. Horrible experience

I will never go back to this place they are rude and like the other review they make it seem like u r a bother when all u want is for them to awnser your question !! One lady was nice and gave my kids candy and my kids took 2 and the old lady came and grabed it out of there hands and said ”only one ” when the candy were like .10cent candy after I sepend $250.00 !!
