When in there to make copies of the shift report and cigarette counts for my job. 100 copies of each report. $18.28 for each one so near $40 just for all the pages to come out half cut away and not properly giving me actual copies of what I needed. There was no offer of let me reprint this for you and get it fixed there was no refund nothing. I will never ever in my life go back to this location or any other location. A complete waste and money that shouldnt have been spent
Stars are for Nancy who was very pleasant and asked that we do the survey. We were happy that the store had what we needed and wanted to do the survey. I tried! There was so much thrown at me, like ads, and when I filled out some survey I found there was NO place for comments, after I had to give an Edress and a business name to continue … I put Staples…. I guess I will get more ads in my email. Survey/Website(?) wasvVery disappointing.
This place is amazing I used to work in retail and I hated customers that came in two minutes before we closed I unfortunately had to do this tonight as we pulled up we saw the doors on the inside the security doors the chain doors being closed with a guy standing there we walked up and he open the door and I apologized for coming in 2 minutes before you closed I asked if you were closed you said no were open for another 2 minutes I said man all I need is a receipt book he took me right to them and told me where check out I asked the cashier what that mans name was this mans name was Bob so I want to personally thank you Bob your customer service skills are unbelievable I cant say I would have done the same thing in your situation so I really appreciate it thank you very much you guys are amazing!
I have been a super at Staples for about 35 years. They usually have great prices, and good customer service. One of their best policies is...110% difference if you find a product elsewhere for less, you will receive the discounted price... So be sure to look on line for such price comparison!! And sign up for their email deals! The only reason I have 4 starts was because the Easy Tech employees are very kind, but, some are not well enough trained to be able to answer your questions... But give them the opportunity. I like them much better than Best Buys Geek Squad. Good luck!! P. S. Check out their clearance items, too.. You will find some excellent deals. 😊
I am a relatively frequent shopper in this location, and have been for many years. I have seen the quality of customer service in the Orange Park store decline in recent years with multiple changes in managers, and have had multiple negative experiences in this store in recent months. My most recent experience began 3 days ago when I ordered some ink and paperclips from staples.com. When the box arrived yesterday, it was well sealed, with no shipping damage. However, when I opened the box, it was missing the paperclips, even though the invoice/picking slip inside indicated it included the paperclips. Even though this may seem like a small item, it was something I really needed for a function in only a few days. I was left with no other option other than the inconvenience of having to stop by the store so as to rectify the error in time for my needs. When I went to the store, I brought the package and contents with me, and explained to the current store manager what had happened. He determined that the store did not have the exact product in the store, but instead, only had a slightly more expensive equivalent in another brand. The cost difference was only $3.53, but rather than demonstrating good customer service and just allowing for an even exchange to compensate me for the error by Staples, and the inconvenience it caused me, he refunded me the money for the ones I had purchased online and charged me full price for the higher priced replacement. Yes, the additional cost I incurred was small, however the principle of good customer service was lost in this case. This store manager needs a lesson in customer service. I am less inclined to make this story my go to for office suppies. In regards to shopping at Staples, this was one time I can say, That was not easy!
As a business owner coming in to get assistance in copy and print, Jamie was unprofessional, rude, and lazy. He was uninterested in helping me with thousands of documents and was unhelpful with the self service errors I occurred. Will not be coming to the staples again
Update the dang time on your website, google says 7, store window says 6 but you close and lock your doors at 5:30. Bad business especially during back to school.
Ashton was super helpful, and patient with helping me in the printing section today. He had a lot going on, yet remained calm, professional, and productive the entire experience. Will definitely be coming back to this location in the future.
Wanted to get one page copied, but they were too busy to do it. The copy center has typically been less than helpful and definitely discourteous. It feels as though they look down their noses at you. The other employees in the store are very friendly and helpful, but not the copy center.
Just walked in the store, sanitizers are $14.99 for a bottle. Ask for a bathroom, their bathroom is closed to public. I am business owner and I know if you are open to public you cant deny people to use the bathroom. Didnt even wanted to buy anything. I was shopping for a computer. I will never be back there again.

I don’t know what it is now, but every time I go to this location there seems to be some sort of problem and a rude employee.I went in to see if I could get a laptop and the guy was like “sorry I’m all out”, my mother asked if she could get a rain check, and the gentleman looked at her clueless. So we went and spoke to the manager, he didn’t even want to help and said the exact same thing as did the other gentleman. The entire experience was horrible. I hate this store. This is where I originally bought my first laptop, and at the time there where friendly staff. Now it’s like people have attitude problems.
The staff member I spoke with today was very kind but I think something needs to change with corporate. Staples needs to recognize the fact that the self-printing system isn’t intuitive enough. Most people who I’ve seen come to get something printed aren’t able to seemlessly print and etc. on their own despite you being directed to the machine confidently. Instead, we are all taking turns waiting for help. Once you send in a document by email, the email directions and self service machine directions don’t match up so you have to fumble your way through figuring out what to do. Also, I sent in a document from Microsoft publisher as an attachment to an email and received a confirmation that my document would be printed. When I arrived at the store, I was told that they don’t print publisher documents. Shouldn’t a printing services center invest in projects software for everyday people? The formats they accept are limiting. Also, shouldn’t there be an automatic alert about publisher if that type of document is sent? It is troublesome to the customer to have to go through the extra work of driving home and/or converting documents when you’re coming to the printing services department to get something printed quickly (and paying for the convenience of it too). I think that if the company recognized these issues and stepped up their game with the user-friendliness of the system and the types of documents they can access and print, more people would rely on Staples. Perhaps the increased volume of customers would render a price reduction on some of the printing costs as well! They are a bit on the expensive side for certain services.

I have been getting my business cards printed here with no problems, except for one lady that works there.4 Star at this time. Very helpful in print Dept. Lowest prices on business cards. (Previous Review)After having them printed 3 previous times, she said my format size was wrong. Thinking they changed printing programs, I had her to write the size, how much bleed over needed, price and all down. Went back she didnt pull the file up, returned drive when pick-up cards, said they were busy.When I went back she was not working and the guy working there open the box and said these arent correct. I had the info on the paper she wrote down and showed him. She did not enlarge the file on their format. He ask if I had my original format, since he had printed them twice before. I got it and he printed them correctly.I went back last Saturday, she was working and snapped about they were busy I needed to order it online, I left. Went back today she was there again, my luck. Said I need to leave drive again, I said cant you save the file like the others do. She open it and said its not right and that I has some under the counter I didnt pick up. I was trying to just be polite and said those were wrong. She started back you approved them. I told her the file was not zoomed in, the bleed over was at the edge of her template, instead of past it. She insisted on those cards she screwed up and I finally told her give me my drive back, you messed those up and I see you are going to screw these up again. I had to ask several times for my drive before she gave it back.I have 2 place in Atlanta area that will design for free and mail them to me for the same price as Staples. It was nice to do local, but most here over charge on printing services.

Staff watched as multiple people had issues in the print center. Incredibly unprofessional attitudes towards customers. To be honest after seeing it all I put my stuff down and just walked out.

Called to make sure a specific item was in stock before I drove 20 min to the store, and was told that it was. When I got there it wasnt. Asked another employee to check again. Took her forever because she kept saying she was trying to find the number to look it up by. I suggested typing in a certain number twice, and she said no I dont think that is it. The 3rd time I suggested it she finally tried and that was it. It was not in stock. I guess when I originally called, he couldnt be bothered to actually check, and then tried to say that he got the sizes mixed up. Waste of time, and these employees arent very good at their jobs.
I visited the Orange Park Staples on 8/10, around 3:10 P.M. to print out a very small job of 10 resumes, and was told all printers were in use at this time. I was told they would show me how to use the self service printer. I waited patiently by the self service printer for help. None ever came. I then witnessed a customer walk in, and attempt to pick up his stamps. They were not done correctly for him. I watched the two employees, one older female, and one older male both operate unprofessionally in front of him. The customer was disgruntled, however instead of having a professional demeanor, the male associate said Well, I obviously cant do these right, she has more experience, she can do it better! To which she replied irately, I cant! I have to go now! Leaving the customer (which I could clearly see) with a unprofessional and unsatisfactory experience where two employees were basically arguing in plain view of customers. Incredibly unprofessional staff. It was not even the interaction towards me that bothered me as much as the behavior of the associates in plain view of the paying public. Needless to say, I did not ever get assistance at the self service machine. I ended up going to the public library, which had a better demeanor and friendlier assistance than a well known office corporate chain. The kicker? They were free. Get it together, Staples @ Orange Park.
Gave 1 star because I had to. Went here to print out a job application and a resume. Had no credit card to use machine so put $5 on a gift card. After about 2 minutes I printed my resume. Went to print job application and it said I was 10¢ short to proceed with this. The very very rude lady told me she would add another dollar to my staples card. I did this and proceeded back to print job application. As I hit print on the 1 page, black and white job application, another notice came up that I would still have to add more money to my card. No one would even help me to print out this application due to what OS obviously a scam with their system. Spoke to manager about this problem and the one associate who was rude and didnt like being bothered with a question. She pretty much didnt care. So I left with a $6 printed resume. 1 printed resume. Pretty sad and unprofessional. Myself nor my family will go to office max from here on out.

Terrible service! I own a screen printing company. That said, I have been utilizing the printing services at staples for years now. This particular staples has an obvious problem with men/women of color. Every single time I go into this Staples they treat me as though I do not deserve respect. I have just walk out of this store after blatantly being called a liar. This store has no respect for thier longstanding customers. Do not utilize this store, especially if you habe some color to your skin.

I was in the store to print 12 separate forms, when I asked if it was possible to print more than one document at a time without starting the whole 5 minute process over, I was told rudely by the lady sitting at the desk, no you have to start the whole process over each time. I heard her tell another customer, no I can’t print that for you because I’m backed up and it’s going to be hours before I get to it. Another lady had an issue with getting the software to work for her document and felt the need to apologize to the worker saying I’m sorry to bother you I know your backed up....seriously she’s the customer, but moving on...after waiting 10 minutes for two document both 1 page each I said forget it, no one has time for that.

I need to use this store weekly due to my business. The registers and self service copy center ALWAYS have Server issues. Registers lock up and the cashier has to change registers and re-ring everything up a 2nd time. I have lost rebates for multiple ink cartridge turn ins due to their register lock up issues. Self service copy, fax and scan machines go off line, alot, and then the copy center refuses to match the self service prices when the cashiers must perform the tasks for you. Now Staples only hires temporary employees. I rarely see the same employees from week to week. Due to the high turn over of temp employees, it seems there is minimal training and knowledge for the cashiers and stock persons.

I have had two encounters with the printing department. The first time they were so incompetent I was so frustrated with the staff I didnt get my documents printed. Today I submitted my work at 2pm and 10 min before I was suppose to have my order completed I get a call saying I need to get a copy right release. Some of it I did at school as well. I would have gladly gotten the paper work if it wasnt for the fact they told me after hours right before I needed the work done. They had more work on file for 5 hours at that point.

Called for help Darrell the Assit Mgr answered the phone and told me that with my issue he wasnt able to help then informed me to call there 800 photo number to help me with a special order I purchased on groupons . When I asked if they were open it being Christmas Eve he said smartly Well were open, so I hung up the phone and called....wouldnt you believe they were closed. Called back asked for Darrell again, he came to the phone told them they were closed and he was stated, Well it is a holiday. Really????? I asked him what he could do as I was trying to have a gift printed..he stated Well your the one who waited til the last minute its not our fault......, I asked him to please stop talking as he was interrupting me, then shockingly he hung up on me. I called back and got corporate number and the store number. I think if youre truly in a bind and need something fast GO SOMEWHERE ELSE apparently your project/gift doesnt matter especially because you probably waited. Darrell is not a gentleman and is very rude, not helpful and the reason woman cant shop in certain stores as we are scared if hes rude enough to hang up on someone what will he do if we were in front of him. Staples is demonstrating poor Customer Service.
