The staff is always super helpful and friendly... As a person of the homeless community this is consequential to me as people have a tenancy to pass judgment quickly and treat me cruelly and/or like a thief at times immediately. I love going here because I am treated just the same as any other guest and always have a pleasant experience both with my shopping and conversing with staff.

I live 30 miles from this store. It was the only one that had my pool filters. Unfortunately my receipt didnt have the sweetest women who helped me. She was an older women like myself. She certainly deserves recognition for her wonderful people skills. It was worth the drive. Thank you👍😃

He took the time to explain to me about the assembly and went out of his way to get me a catalog so I could show my wife a picture of it. Store is also always clean. Had some issues with the protection plan on a couch we purchased from this store. Bob went above and beyond to make it right for me. Chad was a huge help as well. Very impressed! Will definitely be back.

This location just needs to go ahead and shut down. They are extremely overpriced and limited on normal stock. The organization IS NOT on par to other locations or other chain stores. You have to search the store to find things it says are in stock online. They have sale/clearance shelves stacked with multiples of items that are NOT on sale. Some seasonal stock takes over a week to go on sale that us discount the next day at competitors. THEN CHECKOUT OMGGGGG!! The setup is terrible, if you are at ANY register you will always have to move yourself or your basket for others to get by and theres no real counter space to put your items up there. All that beading said the employees were kind and helpful and they keep the store as clean as a building that looks neglected for 15plus years can look. Flooring, lighting and shelves have clearly not been updated for quite some time. THE ONLY reason I visit this location is when it has something I need in stock that the others dont. 4 STARS for employees!!!!

The prices are good, they have a variety of options avaliable for beds and home merchandise. The store gets busy due to its variety and items price. By the time I was there, I did not see a helper approach me to help me with my merchandise buying options.Parking space is big, handicap, bathroom and food is available at the store.

This store doesnt carry as many things as it used to. I used to love going here to find things I wouldnt be able to find at usual stores or find gluten-free foods here. Their selection is very slim now. I guess their buyer is not the same or something or their lots are not as good. I havent been there very often lately. Maybe 1 time in about 6 months when I used to go once a month.

We usually use the one on San Jose but they did not have what we needed so we were directed to try the Blanding Blvd location, glad we did. Store was super clean as well as being well stocked finding all 4 items that were on the flyer. Sue at check out was most helpful and friendly so big recommend to this location. Plenty of parking also available.

I LOVE this place. Its only about 3/4 of a mile to walk here from my house, so I wind up going there at least 3 times a week. Sometimes daily.First of all, the employees here are so amazing. Im a single mother with two elementary school age children. They know us by sight. They greet everyone who walks in the store, but when we walk in there is a note of sincerity in the greeting. Most times the employee recognizes us and they are always so kind and patient!The store is ALWAYS clean and well-lit. The prices cannot be beat. It is the type of store where the inventory changes at all times, so if you find a bargain, its best to get it right then. Otherwise, its possible they will be gone next time you return and they might not be getting any more of the item you like. However, there is a certain type of makeup that I like. At other stores, this item costs around $12. The regular price at Big Lots is $3.50. However, the other day, they had a few on clearance (the boxes were dented, although the product inside was just fine); I paid $0.50 per bottle for my makeup! Needless to say, I stocked up! Bargains like this this are not the exception here; they are the rule.If you are a rewards member here, you will often receive coupons to sweeten the deals. Check your email for them. I have received random coupons for 20% off my total for ANYTHING they sell (excluding dairy items). They also send coupons for 15% to 20% off grocery items (once again, excluding dairy). Once I give the cashier my rewards card info and she told me that I had a 20% off coupon waiting to be used for that days transaction. A nice surprise and Big Lots is not stingy with these coupons.I have only one very minor complaint and is is not about this store in particular, but Big Lots in general stopped selling most electronic items. They do sell accessories, such as antennas, remote controls, keyboards and mice, bluetooth speakers, etc. A few years ago, they sold tablets and printers. These are items I sure wish they continued to sell as I am a tech/gadget junkie and I would surely be purchasing such items on a regular basis.Overall, I give this store in particular a 5 star rating. I cannot think of a single complaint . The manage at this store is obviously doing an incredible job and the team of employees at this store make it a place I would highly recommend to anyone.

The store was clean the worker friendly. The prices are not that good though. Most if what I got was the exact price of Walmart but there was 20%off total purchase today.

Everyone here is amazing. The store is clean, staff is extremely kind and helpful. They will remember your name after a few encounters and greet you by name as you walk in. Ms. Sue and Kita, and lots of others whose names Im forgetting their names (rude of me considering they remember mine AND my childrens).I give the highest of recommendations for this particular location.

I think Big Lots is a pretty good store overall. But the things is that their a little to pricey. But in the end they have a Lot, of good items, deals, and prices.

How can you refuse to sell an item that has a tag on it, because you dont wanna sell the only white one that is assembled, and you dont want to assemble another one!! You tell me I have to buy the black one or wait until all the black ones in the back have sold before I can purchase your $199.00 white clearance kitchen cart? Never in my life have I been refused something that has a tag on it, or been told to drive 30 minutes somewhere else to buy a white one. So you wanna lose a $200 sell, when clearly there is never any customers there to begin with! Not that it matters or I matter, but Ill never step foot in another Big Lots again. Ross and other competitors will get our money.

I purchased a couch from Big Lots in April and at the time I had a uhaul so I didn’t have to pay a delivery fee. The couch sunk on one side making it defective. I got a warranty on the couch and called for a replacement. I was only sent $300 when the whole couch was $700. They told me they are only replacing the broken half but that couch is no longer available so I asked them if I could get money for the other half and they told me no. I will never purchase a couch or any furniture from Big Lots ever again. The staff gives out misinformation and also does not care they are selling defective products.
