They are nice until they arent. They charged us over $450 for a product that I could have bought online for $100. We were in a hurry so we decided to work with them since they picked up the phone, but didnt expect to be taken advantage of like this. Price Gauging terrible business people.

Ive never physically been to the place, Island Spas-Vita Spas, what a name - I luv that name - its practically anointed; but Ive meet 2 of the guys via text message and picture sharing. I got so juiced after my first contact with them. And frankly we hit it off really well from my view. Gee, I hope they are feeling similar? I have that feeling that some of the things that I do are parallel with some of the things that they do - men stuff, you-know. And Im fairly good at appreciating talent when I come close enough to feel it like that. And I think these guys have some expertise among them that will set your world right in certain and specific ways. Geez, Ive seen the pictures, and they seem to have a respectable attitude too. Im right-on about this! So giveem-a-hollar someday and see what they can do for you.

After having smoke and a burning smell coming out if the controller panel this morning, Wes tells me the problem couldnt with this new part. I asked that the tech come and make sure his part was done effectively. Parts and labor are under warrenty. Wanted to use my credit card number for service call. He didt like my push back on this and chose TO HANG THE PHONE UP ON ME. We have spent close to $1000 and am sorry we ever gave them a dime.

Service that far exceeds expectation! While searching for any information I could find on a used Vita Spa located in my home state of Indiana, I landed on Vita Spa of Jacksonville. I reached out to the Service Department only hoping that someone could identify the model info. I planned to take that info and see what I could find on my own. Mark took my call and was happy to help. I sent him pictures and and in no time he replied with tons of information. Not only was he able to identify the unit, he went above and beyond with the info he provided. He continued to exceed expectation when he answered several follow-up questions I had. It didnt seem to matter that I had not ever purchased there or that I never likely would considering I am hundreds of miles away. If we decide to purchase this unit, you can bet we will be reaching out to Vita Spa of Jacksonville should we need any parts... even if it costs extra for shipping. Island Spa is wonderful. LOVE this place. Love our Spa. Wes and Mike are so good to deal with and just great guys, so helpful. I’ve called and they are always there to help. When our spa was delivered, Mike discussed with me about the “Quick drain”. I decided to purchase. This is a GREAT purchase. I drained 1/2 my spa in less than 5 minutes, refilled, added Spa 56 chemical all in less than 30 minutes. Couldn’t have done this without the Quick drain, OR all the help from Wes!I started talking to Wes about purchasing a spa when we started building a new home. He sent me all the specifications, wiring needed, etc. We kept in touch and when I was ready to purchase, we went to store and had our spa appx week and a half later.He explained everything to us in a way that we could understand. I’ve never owned a spa before. And I will say that we love it.Thank You!!

My mom came in and wasnt very sure of what products she needed to use for refilling her tub. I had a Vita Spa for over 12 years and I think the only reason we had issues is that we had to move it across the yard and back to get our pool installed and its old bones just didnt like the shift. We looked at several local companies during the Home and Patio show, but couldnt beat the deal, the friendly customer service treatment and the quality of the Vita Spa that we hope will last another 12 years at least. The installation team did a great job and were very friendly even when I asked them to turn the spa a quarter turn. They took my old spa away and left the area spotless. I appreciate everyone at the shop for helping us.

Good people. Bought a used spa online that wasnt in working condition. Service availability was one week. Mike arrived on time, with everything he needed to have me up and running within a couple of hours. He showed me how to work the spa, gave me a maintenance tutorial and set me up chemicals. Shopped all over Jacksonville for a hot tub found that vita spa had the best selection, price and by far the best built spa. The zinc steel frame was awesome upgrade. Mike was very helpful on choosing which spa would meet my requirements and had the spa delivered to me the same week. Definitely will be recommending these guys to everyone. Thanks guys!!

Showroom has ALL hot tubs, etc. on display. This allowed me to feel certain about the hot tub I wanted, and allows you to sit/feel the spa. I have shopped at other locations, who only had select models on display. Others you had to view via catalog or computer.The hot tub I purchased 2 years ago, looks and runs as good as the first day I bought it, keeping in mind my tub sits outdoors, uncovered.Staff (Flora) on hand is very friendly, patient, and helps answer all your questions and assists you in picking the spa just right for your needs.I recently had to have some minor maintenance work done, and theservice repair was excellent, and prompt (Mike). VITA SPA stands behindthe products they sell.

We were very impressed and pleased with the customer service and hot tub choices at Vita spa. We had looked at many other places in and around the Jacksonville area and when we walked into Vita Spa we knew we found our place. The show room is great. They have a hot tub where you can see the inside and know exactly what it looks like and what it is. The choice was easy. With a lifetime warranty on the frame (which is steel) and a warranty on the tub itself was a plus. The staff was very friendly and answered all of our questions and more. If you are looking for a hot tub, this place is quality and friendly!!

The techs were very professional, able to quickly locate where all the leaks were and let me know up front what I was looking at. They worked well together to get the job completed while keeping me in the loop by explaining to me along the way what they were doing.

We purchased our spa a few months ago and this is not only an awesome spa, but these are authentically AWESOME people to work with. They are extremely knowledgeable about there product and they are also able to discuss details about the differences between their spa and other spas. We could not take possession of our spa right away and they worked with us with great accommodation and without any hesitation. They were so curteous and professional throughout the process. Its great to have the same person who originally sold me my spa, delivered it, repaired it under warranty and years later come back and complete my repair due to lightening strike frying the circuit board! Never buy a spa in December here they go on vaca so my tub was dumped off and never heard from vita spa again. Happy with tub not completely happy with the company level of customer service. Kinda wish I just bought one somewhere else. Lots of excuses and little answers.

I moved into a house that had a spa, and the day before hurricane Mathew, I wanted to get it up and running. I found that one of the pumps was not working properly, the impeller was bad. I called Vita Spa and Mike was getting ready to close up shop for hurricane prep. He had me text pictures of the pump, and called me right back to say he had the parts to fix it. He had me come right over, and fixed it while I watched. I was incredibly impressed, I was expecting to be told to bring it by after the storm, but Mike was absolutely super in keeping the shop open long enough to get my pump working. He was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and professional. I will be using Vita Spa for any of my future spa needs.

I bought a vita spa from these guys about 17 years ago. I have not seen them since. That thing has performed like a well oiled sewing machine and I love it.Seriously, the quality of the spa is great.Edit: Its now been over 20 years, and I will still recommend them. Both pump motors stopped because they were simply warn out. But, thats great service ! These motors ran every day for, for at least 1 hour on the timer/programmer to keep it clean, FOR OVER 20 years ! The new pumps are expensive, but, Ill bet they will last another 20. Probably longer than me.

I bought a new house and inherited a disastrous hot tub. We ran into problem after problem thanx to Mike never giving up getting it back to working. He did a wonderful job and I would highly recommend him!

I inherited a 10-year old Vita Cabaret spa from a friend and it needed quite a bit of work. Unfortunately we do not have any local Vita spa stores in my area and I did an exhaustive search on the internet and found Vita Spa of Jacksonville. And boy am I GLAD I DID. What a professional group of people they have. Sandy and Flora got me quickly up & running with the parts I needed (a controller, blower and Sanizone as well as some PVC plumbing supplies to fix a leak).Not to mention Mike. What an AWESOME person and a true crackerjack technician. I had several wiring issues as well as overall programing of the controller issues. He asked me to snap a couple of picture of the inside of the control panel and within minutes he returned my call and LITERALLY walked me through step by step the rewiring of the panel.....simply INCREDIBLE. Plus he gave me tips on how to fix the exterior panels and just general guidance how how to recondition the total hot tub, both inside & out. You do not get that Ole School professional service anymore. It was so refreshing to find Vita Spa of Jacksonville. I simply can not be happier and I am so excited that I was able to get my spa up & running with their professional guidance. They could have very easily treated me like other one time online sale, bit no they treated me like a local customer within their territory.Well I could go on and on, but I think you got the picture. I told Mike he has earned all my Vita spa business going forward and I will not shop around trying to find better because this is the best service I can ask for. If I could give a rate of zero, I would!! We have used Vita Spa for many years, not after today! Wes and Mike are probably two of the most unprofessional individuals we have ever dealt with! They have no respect for their customers and have an “I don’t care attitude”. We placed a call to them today after our Hot Tub suddenly stopped working, to ask a simple question. When Wes thought he hung up the phone, he went on a rant and made derogatory remarks about our call. When the call finally disconnected we called back, and I spoke directly with Mike (who we were told wasn’t there two minutes before). Mike’s response was less than apologetic, and he didn’t seemed concerned that one of his customers was treated in such a manner. In today’s times with so many options to choose from for Spa’s and parts I would recommend taking your business somewhere else. A place who wants to earn your business, not discard it!
