I like that you dont feel like Jay and his team are trying to pull the wool over your eyes when something is wrong. Open and honest communication is there. Sometimes it takes them a while to get to my car but its because they have such a great reputation, people flock to this place! Its worth the wait!

Usually a very thorough inspection when they do a diagnostic. I have a old manual 2004 Mazda 3s that Ive been pretty hard on, and (outside of oil changes, tires & wheels) Estes has been my number 1 mechanics of choice for a side variety of issues. Theyve kept it running like new every step of the way. Any service or billing issues Ive had, has typically been explained or cleared up right away, and they are the first ones I call when I have a new issue.Friendly, professional staff, usually get a quick call back about when they can get my car in or when they tell me my vehicle has been diagnosed.Prices vary compared to other shops but Im sure you get your moneys worth at Estes.

Ive been going to Estes for years. They have always treated us good, did great work on our cars to the best of their ability and if something came up always worked it out with us to our satisfaction. Jay, Brenda, and the Estes team go out of their way to do a great job for their clients.

After 3 days of being told that they had started working on my car and I would be able to get it back the next day, and then the next day, and then the next day, come to find out they hadnt even started working on it. No communication that they couldnt get to it that week. So now I get to do the work myself and save $1000. Its a shame, I had heard great things about them but I found them to be a big disappointment.

I cannot say enough about this shop. I went from driving cars under warranty for the last 20 years to buying an older, used car. Having read the reviews and recommendations for this shop for years, I called them up. I couldn’t be happier. They did a fuel clean out (much needed I’m sure) and did a safety check (no charge) just because. I know this car needs some love and I’ll be coming here to give it the tlc it needs. The front desk staff is amazing and the guys are wonderful. It’s a family run business and I feel like they brought me into their fold. Thank you Jim Estes Auto repair. The only dang Mechanic in the e tire Metro area that would service our RV! And, they did an absolutely AMAZING job. Even with a lot packed full of cars they managed to get ours in and out in a week. Im totally amazed by them, and would hands down recommend to anyone!

I took our motorhome in because of lack of power. They went thru everything to try to find out why. There was no check engine light for codes, but they figured it out and fixed the problem. This is my second time here and wont be my last. They are great At finding and repairing problems at a fair price Thank you!

Ive never been a fan of auto shops until I went here. Genuine people who take really great care of your vehicle. My 97 Honda Civic needed some MAJOR TLC - like a laundry list of stuff that needed maintenance. They got everything done in a timely manner and made sure I was informed before they did any repairs. Ill definitely be coming back to them anytime I need anything else done. If you live in OC, definitely pay them a visit to get your work done.

Everyone there is extremely honest and upfront about any questions or issues they might find. Our personal vehicles as well as our work vehicles there are always upfront and always suggest this needs to be done but those things can wait until later. What more can you ask for from a family business. Just saying

I had service done to my 1973 chevy pickup. It is rare to find a shop that works on old vehicles anymore. I have alot of work to get done on my old truck. I have found the shop that will take care of my truck.

Great service, did a great job on my muffler and tailpipe, met the time they said it would be ready and were very fair on the price. Ill be back!

Jim Estes garage best place to take car to see my Grand Cherokee there was like a lot but they worked on it and they got the 4Runner and again but now I have a 1997 Suzuki Sidekick that I got thumbs up the guys always taking super good care of me going out of my way more than you need to best place to go take your car they always do a good job and if you cant do it theyll go out of the way to get it fixed anyways I highly recommend this place and Brenda the secretary really cute

Had my exhaust just fall apart on me. Thank goodness it was a clean break on a manufacturers weld. The employees at Jim Estes were quick to weld it for me and reasonable on the price. As a woman, I really am wary of repair shops. I appreciate them treating me fairly, which is all I ask.

Brought my 2006 Jeep in to have a wiring harness installed for lighting my trailer when towing. They have a comfortable waiting room with wifi, and were friendly, quick, and efficient. Uhaul had quoted me $165, for an install that I later found out used inferior parts and wouldve needed replacing in a year or two. Jim Estes Garage did it with higher quality parts for $157, and are awesome to deal with.My roommate also brings her vehicles here and has for years. She highly recommended them to me.

They worked with me through extensive repairs and helped compassionately by cutting the costs where they could. I appreciate the extra help they went through to make sure I was taken care of.

You can trust these people. They took my Chevy truck in without prior notice, diagnosed correctly the issues it had, and fixed the problems timely. They were completely honest with me about what needed to be done. I had thought the truck had a more expensive issue that needed replaced, but they were honest with me. Their shop rate is very reasonable. I will be taking more repair work to them. I am a happy customer!

I am not sure what to think of this shop. They treated me courteously but after towing my diesel truck back to their shop three times and after spending several thousands in parts and labor, they failed to fix the starting problem. I have to conclude that they just did not have the skill to fix diesel trucks. I cannot recommend them for diesel truck repair.

Ive been taking my cars here for a few years now and they never fail to impress me with their service and integrity. I had a 1969 Chevy Caprice that was my show car and they replaced the carburetor for me and did some other minor work and made it run like a top. Now Ive got an annoying bmw x5 that has been a huge money pit and of course it just broke down and I had to have it towed. Naturally I chose Estes. They spent a lot of hours on my car trying to figure out the electrical problem and instead of charging me for all the hours he charged me for just a couple. Saved me a lot of money and did a lot of work that Im sure wasnt fun. Jay is the guy that runs the place and hes a good guy and you can trust him. They diagnosed its a security lockout that needs to be reset at the dealership so hopefully that will take care of it. Try them out you wont be dissapointed!!

They do not lock your cars or have any cameras or sensor lights to some way secure your cars safety when THEY leave it unlocked. Jay is nice though.
