Mark made it seem like it would be seamless to switch our service to Verizon. Today was the second visit to the store. 3 1/2 hrs today, 2 hrs the first night…we have two of our 5 phones switched over. Still have three more to go which will require more visits because they won’t give the boxes to mail the phones back until the new phones come.Reply to Owner Reply: you can gladly help us make the rest of our transition to Verizon smooth. Hopefully someone contacts us so we can finish setting our phones up and turn this review around.
After trying unsuccessfully to make an appointment online (which I had been told to do on one of my last visits) I went into the store in person. Online on my phone the make an appointment link only gave me more and more ads to purchase items. plans and phones. When I arrived, five people were sitting at stations, four more were sitting in chairs waiting. One person at a station had an actual representative with them. The other four people were looking around or just sitting. After 15 minutes, no one had approached me about taking my name or asking what I needed, actually, no representative had appeared at all; and the other customers were all still waiting. I left.I will add however, that on my last visit (which was not three years ago as your site says) Jacob took care of me and was the most helpful representative I have had there in years. My husband and I formerly spent 20 minutes with a girl two visits ago and she never could determine why my husbands phone had quit accessing YouTube. She finally handed the phone back and said I dont know.
When the manager Travis checked me in I let him know that I wanted an iPhone 13 the one for $799 and a phone case for it. I waited over 50 minutes just for the sales rep to tell me they only had the iPhone 13 at the higher capacity. Which was $100 more. This was after I told the sales rep I was interested in also purchasing an Apple Watch. Couldn’t give me any promotion or discount just wanted to force me to pay $100 more for a phone I didn’t want. They lost an almost $1500 deal over $100. Lmbo. Unbelievable.
Sales person did not want to help because we didnt have an appointment (we did have appointment but got the days mixed up) Meanwhile 7 workers standing around on their phones, with 1 customer in the store. Sales person seemed bothered we were there and did not want to help us. Went down the street to Best Buy and bought 2 new phones. I will continue to go to Best Buy rather than this store.
I always go here for whatever I need with Verizon. Associates are always willing and helpful.
My dad made an appointment to buy a new phone and get it set up at the store. Im the tech savvy one in the family so i went along just in case. We had a 30 minute appontment window, we checked in when we got there (right on time), and waited over 30 minutes before we were helped, only to find out the phone was out of stock and theyd have to order it.We ended up deciding to go home and order the phone and accessories online. We will only go back to the store if we run into problems setting it up.The store associate was pleasant to talk with and did everything she could, but the stores organization could be better if thats how an appointment made in advance to buy and set up a phone is going to go.
Kristine was very helpful and knowledgeable. Very kind and knew exactly what needed to be done to solve my issues. Great job!
My dad and I got 2 new phones a bit ago, previously we had boost and my phone was the Samsung a21. We both got the Samsung s21. The guy helping us said we had to buy the chargers with the phone ($50 each) I told him I had my charger from my a21 I didnt need it and he said it wouldnt work with the s21. Tell me why I got home and the old charger did in fact work with the new phone. Basically just scammed us to spend more money and he wasnt even much help with anything. The only one who clearly knew anything was the woman working who he kept going back and asking questions too. When we walked away spending almost 900 on those phones and he kept trying to get us to spend more. Leaving Verizon for this reason. No reason we shouldve spent that much money if we didnt have too. Will not support this at all.
Very bad experience. Waited there for over an hour to pretty much not be helped at all. I wanted to upgrade my phone and was told they didn’t have the phone I wanted. They never asked me if I wanted to order the phone? They told me to go to Best Buy, that they probably have it there? When I asked how much I would have to pay since I’m trading in my phone 2 months early, I was told that they had to access my account in order to tell me. Like what? You have access to my account. That’s how they were able to tell I was trading in 2 months early. I felt like just because they knew I wasn’t purchasing anything (since they didn’t have the phone I wanted in stock) they didn’t care much to give me further information. I felt uncomfortable asking further questions so I left, with no answers at all.
It was a nice experience, my local store in Crestwood has closed permanently due to the pandemic. It was out of the way, but a necessary drive. Everyone was courteous and the service was convenient. I guest Ill have to make plans to travel to this location.
Joe - General Manager has no customer service, he does Verizon a injustice on being a Manager; I have been with Verizon since 1987, he is the worse. I bought a new phone 3wks ago, he tells me I have to wait until next Saturday by appointment only to get my phone data transferred over to new phone. People are walking in everyday and I know he is not turning them away. Verizon Corporate needs to explain to me his thought process on turning there customer away.
Long line once you get to speak to a personIt was fast
Yanni was FANTASTIC!! He assisted us with my father-in-laws phone with speed and professionalism. Its rare to get such great customer service nowadays.
Worst store ever! I am here while typing this! I’ve been here for 2 hours for a sam SIM card upgrade, the manager is horrible with trash customer service especially if you’re not the same color as him, 2nd of all I was checked in my name was called then a sits with me accuses my account and the manager calls her over to check other customers me in while I had to wait another 15 min for her to come back, and keep in mind other employees were free but for what ever reason he picked the one was helping me! Never coming again ever here and don’t waste ur time unless of course you the same color as him, HE MUST BE FIRED AND REPLACED!!!
The Best Verizon service in Overland Park Ks is at the newest store at 159th. The gentleman that helped us with our phone problems, Byron was wonderful!! We had big phone issues and that young man stayed with us on a Sunday from 4pm until 8:45pm. The store closed at 5pm. He worked his tail off multitasking with 2 other customers while having 2 phones on hold for different departments to help us. He deserves a huge raise! Unlike the 135th and metcalf store this store and young man was so sympathetic to our problems and will help when I get my new phone step by step. That’s the service I’m use to from Verizon. There here for all your needs. Stay away from John at the 135th store. He wants to sell you stuff, kinda, then inform you if you need help setting up your phone go to Apple store. He can’t help due to privacy. NOT TRUE. A store is suppose to help you from start to finish. John just didn’t want to take the time! Again Byron at 159th just off Metcalf is the man for all needs and provides the service Verizon promises! Thank you dear Byron!
Spent over three hours on the phone with Verizon support after upgrading a line and adding a new line/phone. Representative at the Orland Park store failed to port over number, setup the new plans incorrectly, and generally did not complete a single thing. It was nice being in and out in 15 minutes until I realized thats because literally was nothing done.
Forgotmy pin so I cant cancel my phone subscription but they just keep charging me havent used that phone but the bill keeps coming.
I went in there for some help with my account they did not help me at all and the manager said go call corporateThen they were playing the guessing game on how to give me my rebatesVery poor
Horrible service. Staff are slow, rude, act entitled. Security guard thinks he’s intimidating by staring at you and gives false information… then the person who checks you in is condescending and rude too. We waited 30 minutes without the option of checking in and then were finally told we had to wait at least another hour just to be seen. Don’t go here. Total waste of time.
My son and I had friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful Representative by the name of Corey. He was easy to communicate with. He didnt make me feel as if I was being rushed and he joined in with the small talk and jokes me and my son was having.
Orland park store cant take payments when the kiosk is down. Everytime I go to this particular store, there is always some issue and I cant be helped. Mokena verizon store is always on top of their game.
Waited for awhile, ended up leaving after 45 minutes
They literally sent me away saying theres NOTHING they can do about getting me a new phone!! Had to report the store to corporate! They are absolutely terrible!!
The only reason Im giving this 1 star because this place is always crowded they only had 3 salesmen they needed 8 waited 2 hours to have a phone activated
Long wait time and just 2 employees working . Unbelievable
Amazing..the lady at the door was able to fix my phone in 7 mins. Outstanding!!!
Brian helped us last minute. We had a great experience. After trying to handle everything online like verizon pushes, I got a dropped call after being ran through the ringer for 50min. Brian made all of the stress go away. We were to the point of switching carriers but from now on we will keep doing business with Brian.
We came in to buy a new phone the security was horrible, then took our name and told us that next appointment was at 6:30 or if someone gets free we were next and someone was free and instead of him helping us he just was standing next to the other employee and then went to the back and we are standing waiting to be help ! When the lady employee is been chatting with customers More than 45 min
Whats the point? Might as well just go online. If you have any questions make the 2 minute trip to Best Buy
Very Friendly knowledgeable Staff. I talked with Christy and she informed me I get a better deal online than at the store. So very Awesome!! Their not pushy or sell you something you dont need. Theyll present you the options, but will notify you if you wont need it or use it, depending on what you do with your phone. Overall I recommend on coming here for your phone services and accessories... FYI dont get the Android or Apple watch unless your real Tech Savvy.. Waste money and can get you into trouble. For those of you that have one, knows what I mean... Lol
I was at your store 2 different times this weekend and both Tammy and Michelle spent so much time with us and really went above and beyond! They were so pleasant to work with and really cared about our situation. They are both definitely assets to your company!
Victor was excellent he went above and beyond to help me. Please let him know how much he is appreciated.
Background: I ordered the model IPhone 8, three total, for my family and I. They arrived at my house the next day. Mine was easy to upgrade because I was going from a iPhone 6 to an 8. Turned it on, followed the instructions. No problem at all. The other two were for my folks. They were upgrading from LG/Android phones to iPhone 8. The person on the phone recommended we go to the store to activate their phones. So, we did.Upon arrival at the store, We were greeted by a sales person and explained the above to her. She immediately dismissed being able to help us and said that the person on the phone was wrong in saying the store associates could help us. When I asked to work with a different person, her tune began to change and she began upgrading my mothers phone. Her upgrade was a success. My dads on the other hand was not. She was unable to move the pictures, videos, calendar, or the contacts into my dads new phone. She the handed us son instructions and told us that we had to go home, plug his old phone into a computer, and follow the instructions. We left unhappy. I ended up calling Verizon tech support. After about two hours on the phone with them, they had to reactivate my dads old phone, re-install some missing software and apps, and was able to push his data to the Verizon cloud for the new iPhone. The new iPhone now works and has the contacts and pictures. The person that helped us at the store had no clue how to problem solve. Her customer service skills indicate to me she should not be occupying the position she is currently in.The Sales person demonstrated to us that she was not a subject matter expert in her field of work, allowing us to leave the store with only two of the three working phones. This same letter was given to Verizon Wireless in a customer survey. I never heard back from them, so apparently it went nowhere. What happened to good old fashioned customer service?
Love them
What bothered me about this location is that 2 team members had their pants hanging very low. Verizon provides a uniform, so why are the team members allowed to wear their uniform like this? This is not a professional look. Brian was servicing us. We wanted the phone on black. He came back to say someone just purchased the last black phone. I asked for him to check Creatwood or Evergreen Park. He came back to say the are showing another one in stock but it is in the safe and the safe is timed. He did let us know it would be a few more minutes before the safe could be opened. Why wouldnt he tell us about the phone in the safe in the first place? It is very hard to find a Verizon location that provides good customer service.
Simply put these guys are not honest. I went in to see if I could get a phone repaired and was instantly told I’m out of warranty and needed to buy a new phone. Then I spoke to a manager who helped fix my phone with a very small effort. (I’m sincerely Grateful for that) but then got the full court press to change my “already business account” to a business account! ?!? Three days later I called in to get clarification on the change only to be told they signed me up for several things and a brand new phone number I was told nothing about.I had a hard time getting a straight answer my entire time at the store.I felt something was right and my feelings were accurate. Not upfront nor honest. Too bad. Been going to this store for over 15 years. No longer. Got a new phone
David was an excellent specialist. Worked with us. Everyone was making sure we were taken care of.
Longtime Verizon customer....YEARS... never ever had a bad visit at this facility... keep up the good work
Horribly disappointed. I had 4 phones and one watch with T-Mobile and wanted to transfer everything over to Verizon. My first step however was to just transfer my phone and Apple watch with the intentions of taking care of the rest at a later time. I went in the store at around 6:45 PM and was met by Tammy who began the process. The process went smooth up until it came down to purchasing the insurance for the transferred Apple Watch (around 8:15 PM). Tammy wasnt allowed (via the system) to purchase the insurance and asked her manager Will (store manager) who was standing next to her. Wills reply, in front of me, was a shrug of his shoulders, and a verbal statement of I dont know, youre looking at the same screen that I am. Tammy, a trooper, continued on and called Verizon IT who put her on hold while looking into the problem. At that time, I asked Tammy if I could leave and if she could call me once IT cleared things up. She agreed, I left.About 15 minutes later, Tammy called me and informed me that they werent able to resolve the issue and that she was not going to be in the next day, due to a day off. She did however reassure me that Will, the aforementioned manager, is aware of the problem and will address it with IT immediately the next morning-then call me back.At 10:48 AM the next morning (and after not hearing back from Will) I called the store to inquire about the issue. Will told me that he looked into it and IT hasn’t come to a resolution yet. He did however tell me that he would check on it again and call me back with what he learned. At 2:30 PM, after not hearing back from Will, I again called the store in order to speak with him. To my surprise, Will had left for the day. I then spoke with Victor and relayed the fact that I was disappointed in the service that I was provided and that I now am wearing a $400.00 Apple Series 4 watch that is uninsured with no further resolve as to when it will or can be insured. Victor listened patiently as I continued on and ended the conversation. Again, no resolution. In closing and as I said at the beginning of this review, I initially wanted to transfer a total of 4 phones and 1 watch over to Verizon. I’m not quite sure that this is going to happen now. Albeit, T-Mobile’s coverage isn’t as good as Verizon’s, and I needed the coverage for work, their customer service is much better. I am contemplating leaving Verizon and taking all of my phone lines to another service provider. If this customer service is a sign of things to come, I don’t want anything to do with it.
They were able to clearly explain rewards program.
Drove all the way, like 23.9 miles to have them tell me I can do it over the phone, when River Oaks Verizon, over the phone said that this place in Orland Park was the only place they could do it, so now will try calling Verizon again, when Charles from an 888 # told me I had to re- register my phone. What a run around!
Waste of time. We called ahead of time and they told us airpods were available. We drove 30 minutes and suddenly they didn’t have any. I’d rate them a 0 if possible go to other stores that are more professional
I gave it three stars because normally my visits have been great. This last visit I give one star because the website was down and when I called they couldnt email me my bill but said the store could print it out for me. I drive there and they want to charge me 5 dollars to print my bill even though the my Verizon site was down. Talked to the store manager who would not budge. Called the number again and they said they would credit my account the 5 dollars, too much just to get a four page print of my bill when the website was down...
My husband and I feel like all the wireless companies give you the run around. The BS sales pitch etc, and Verizon is no different. 😡
Nothing to brag about. The worker here was very nice. This was a surprise since on the last three times I was in the store, the 3 employees were not friendly, and did not seem to want to help me with my issue. They patronized me with out solving my problem. It made me feel like I was waisting there time. In reality they werewasting my time.
Buyers beware... go to Best Buy instead of here! This store is eager to sell you all the extra deal packs, but when you have a simple problem... they didnt switch the SIM cards, they treat you with disrespect and attitude.I went into the store the next morning to get my new X iPhone fixed and the same associates were there, but they made me wait the entire time for them to use a paper clip to swap out my phones and told me that I should have just YouTube the process. I spent $460 the night before.
Unfortunately, I did not get the manager on duty’s name. But he was Caucasian, wore glasses, had brown hair. He made a very disrespectful, degrading comment towards me, not even thinking about the sensitivity of the subject. I chose not to purchase a mofi device because it said warning cancer and reproductive harm. He essentially told me in a very rude, sarcastic way that I shouldn’t even have a microwave in my house or put the charger near my stomach. Would not have done that anyways. I had every right to not buy that product, and I should have just walked out because of how he treated me.Angela, on the other hand, was amazing, patient, caring, and so helpful. She is the only reason I stayed.
I want to thank the staff member Tammy of this facility for assisting me with my phone yesterday. My old phone screen was fading and was unable to access any of my contacts, files, and other things. Well, Tammy was very friendly, and more than willing to assist me with my dilemma. In the beginning, it was tough for her to access my phone due to the problems I described. This didnt stop Tammy. She was determined to access my contacts and files, even when I was about to give up hope. As I was going to thank her for trying, she tried one more thing to assist me and IT WORKED!!! I was able to receive my contacts and my important files thanks to Tammy. The file were very important to my job because I use this as my work phone as well. This honestly made my day given that my day wasnt really going that well. I would like to thank Tammy for taking the time to assist me and staying after closing time to make sure I was satisfied. Thank you very much!!!
Hurray!!! Great team..problem solvers....love these guys...Safia smartest woman I know. Victor good guys....want them to work for me. Thanks for helping!!!!
Careful, staff there took advantage of my handicap elderly mother and got her into a contract on a tablet with monthly data. She left with the impression it was free with her new phone, when in fact she was paying 80 for the tablet and an extra $30 a month on her bill. FORTUNATELY, because of the persistence of her family and myself, we were able to get the transaction reversed. The solution specialist there, Isaac, was helpful and concerned when the issue was brought up to him. He is the only shining star in this place. Go elsewhere or find another carrier.
My grandmother was in monday, she dropped her phone and shattered the screen. She told me her experience she had in your store and I will not stand for this. She told me that she broke down in tears in the store she was so frustrated with the service she received. She felt nothing but disrespect. They made her feel inferior and were rude and mean spirited. She only remembers the name of one of the two girls who helped her, one was named Megan. I also work in retail and for her to be taken advantage of and not even given the time of day like this is absolutely frustrating. She is older and is not well versed in the technology we all use like second nature. She needed help and came to the store for help and for her to tell me she was brought to the point of tears is absolutely unacceptable. Your staff needs to learn how to treat older people with patience and respect. She will be switching to sprint now because of her experience.
Great store, nice staff. When I left my keys here and found them with the Tile tracker I had attached they had them waiting for me behind the counter.
We had a very good sales person i would go back again
Elizabeth was able to take care of me quickly and showed she was the best at what she did. If only there can 5 Elizabeth per store. Glad to have my pixel on the VZW plan.
Went to upgrade a phone on my account.Brian was outstanding and explained all offers thoroughly. I was very satisfied with the entire experience.
I went into this Verizon branch to figure out the issue I’ve had with my device payment plan that has been going on for months. I’ve been tossed around in circles and was told to wait until October 1st. So today I decided to go in and get my situation cleared up. I was speaking with one of their “solutions specialists” who was very respectful and kind. But then the “solutions manager” (sooo wish I remembered her name...couldn’t because I was too angry with the way I was being treated) entered into the conversation and was completely disrespected and felt ganged up on. She had no care in the world when I said I wanted to switch from Verizon to AT&T. She told me that I can leave and I have to pay the cancellation fee of $500. Didn’t know their job is to push customers away?? Even though my situation was brought upon by Verizon themselves! I have had many negative experiences in the past with this location but figured I’d come back since I was in the area. NEVER AGAIN. This store has gone downhill. I will not take the disrespectful attitudes any longer. Please do yourself a favor and save yourself the stress, go somewhere else!!As a side note, I called Verizon customer support and was able to get my situation taken care of by a very knowledgeable and respectful specialist. I also told him of my experience and he apologized to me for being treated that way. He also stated “Verizon is about customer support...and that is not supportive!” He is absolutely right. Shame it took a person on the phone to apologize for another person’s rudeness.
Its a very bad service at this station I have been waiting for a long time and then take a couple came after us.... and when its time for us he disrespect and take a phone call and we had two kids with us so we were under the pressure to finish and go home... but no took the phone call and let us wait...
Had a bad experience in the store, wasted 3 hours of my day. Next day I call and impossible to get anyone to answer. Waited 1 hr on hold and then just hung up. No one answers the phone.
Isaac (Solution Manager) was great. My wife and I were greeted right away in this busy store. He did way more than he necessary to help us out. We were in and out in 10 minutes with everything we needed - and more. Thanks Isaac.
Very helpful great experience
This location has the Worst customer service ever, we ported our numbers from T-Mobile to Verizon and came after 2 days to get the iPhone 7 plus instead of the 7, the guy name is Mike, didnt even say hi when our time came to see. Didnt try to help us or do anything, attitude, lazy. I wonder why this location has tons of bad reviews now. I love Verizon but this location customer service
The service was good once we finally got waited on we did not anticipate a half-hour wait when we had an appointment
Always very nice and personable and ready to help. You do sometimes have to wait but its usually not long. They try to resolve everything that day that you come in.
Brian sales rep at orland park Verizon is very unprofessional wasted my time very horrible experience
Super busy but we had excellent service.
Waited for 15 mins to get helped nobody helped but they asked every person that came in after me if they needed help. My money aint green there. Never again
Bad customer service ever. They lie to you and say anything just to sell you and make some commission. The salesman told me you are eligible for promotion to buy a phone and get one free. After that they asked me for full price for both. I can’t wait until I’m done the tow years contract and leave this company.I don’t recommend anybody to switch to this company it’s the worst.
We had exellent service with a girl Rachel!!! She explained to us everything step by step and save to us 450$!!! She take her time to explain ang guid you to everything!!!amazing experence! And thank you Rachel again! All staff was very friendly!
Walk in the store and was ignored. Wait 5 minutes and no one help or said nothing. Stood at the counter and waited in front of a rep. And he ignored us. Didnt bother to even look at us. Then he walked away. Another rep standing there just took out his phone and ignored us too. We left without service. Horrible experience.
There are just so many things I could say about this store. First the greeters take forever to ask if I need help and to ask my name to check me in. Then when they say they check you in, they dont. Ive been to the store about 6 times I the past come of months and each time the greeter hasnt checked me in after shes asked for my name. Its been 2 different young ladies and each one of them has gotten an attitude when I try to ask someone who is free to help me.The wait here is terrible on top of that, when you get someone to help you they are amazing, the downside is youre waiting about 20 minutes because the greeter hasnt done their job, and then you have to wait for someone to free up which is like another 20 minutes. The one plus to this location is that the people who help you are great, they are polite, courteous, and try to get you out as quick as possible. But it seems like they never have enough people in the store working. Ive gone on weekends and during the day during the week and Ive never had less than a 20 minute wait. Ive been in the store with full staff and its till been a minimum 30 min wait because people arent checked in properly. Then the greeters stand around talking to the staff instead of letting them help more customers.A Verizon reseller has opened up near me recently. For comparison they never have more than 3 people working in the small storefront at any time and Ive moved waited for more than 10 minutes in there. The big corporate store should be working more smoothly, but instead youre slowly losing business to the resellers in Orland, Mokena and Tinley.
Terrible customer service.... the manager and associates did not go out of the way to help my issue.... had to go in the car and call customer service which was more than helpful with all my issues not one but twice.... the best is they told me no phone call to customer service would change a thing....lol
Exceptional customer service. Not my first time here and I cant say anything negative about people, cleanliness, and their helpfullness.
I came here twice to get some help picking out a new phone and had the worst customer service. Two different sales reps and the same blank stare and no help from either and both of these gentlemen said that their opinion doesnt matter because its not their phone. I had questions about phones and never got answers just an annoyed response that left me more frustrated.I left both times spending no money and went to another location and got a new phone This store is a mess and I will never be back.
Knowledgeable staff..not pushy or going for the hard sell..
Johnny P was a very helpful associate who provided great service. He patiently took time to make sure I was satisfied with my purchase. I appreciated that.
The customer service rep was extremely helpful!
I went there today to added a new phone line to my family plan. A guy name Brian came to help me. He knows the reason Im here and he brought a new sim card to activated for me. However, Brian didnt explain the price of each plan nor ask me how many data do I need (more data cost you more every month) He just did the higher price one. I told him I need the 3 GB data plan and then it took him few mins to change it. He activated the new Sim card back at the counter (which I wasnt sure he did it or not cause the new sim card didnt work) He came and inserted the sim card for me and told me the phone could used few mins to activated, but I good to go now. He didnt make sure the sim card work and he ask me to leave. I trusted him and I leave the store without check it by myself. I though it will take time to activate so I leave the store. I got home and fine out the sim card did not work with my phone. I have to go another Verizon retail store tomorrow and have another sim card replace. I dont recommend anyone to go this place.
Always helpful and knowledgeable.
Verizon must be going broke, they cant tip their food delivery drivers. 😨
Went in looking to upgrade to NFL red zone and ended up being greeted by Rory. This guy helped me tremendously. He informed me that I automatically get NFL mobile and I had to pay like 3$ a month for redzone (cheaper than what I paid last year). On top of that, he hooked it up with a free upgrade that scored me two extra gigs of data. Before I left he had me download an app that got me an additional two gigs of data for a coue of months, just in time for football. Honestly, Rory was a nice guy who treated me like a buddy. Top notch store
TERRIBLE! The manager sold me a business package. I went in there with the intent of possibly lowering my costs so on and on he went to convince me to go to a business package. I communicated my intent was to have one account and all my devices on the business plan. I find out after getting emails and phone calls that they were going to suspend my service because one of my accounts wasnt paid. I called in 3 times but the customer service number couldnt find my business account information so couldnt help me without my account number (neither my name or business name pulled up the information). The manager did nothing of what I asked and clearly stated in the original set-up. Affter another (of 3) hour on the phone with customer service Im in the red $165. I wondered why there was nobody in this store and now I know why. After 26 years with Verizon Im shopping for other carriers.
It was very busy but I was still helped within minutes. Ryan was quick and courteous, and I walked out with exactly what I needed and nothing that I didnt. Great Job!
Great staff and service saved me a few hundred on my business account
The people working here are SHARKS. All of them are typical car salesmenThey love lies through omission. Hey, you get a free ipad with your plan and you are thinking ok cool. What they dont tell you is your plan would have been lowered by that amount and the free ipad now is a new line and has a monthly bill for the ipod. My parents got tricked into giving up unlimited data for unlimited calling and text.
Long story short.I had a 100$ credit coming.Merged into a family account with my father a few months after achieving said credit. Was told about having the credit a few months after that, didnt decide to use it then, didnt need a new phone.Go in a week ago to buy new phone for 79 dollars. They tell me they gave the credit to my father since hes the primary account phone #.Fine. No problem. I know where he sleeps, I can get the money from him.Come to find out, he wasnt given a credit. Come to further find out, I lost my credit when we merged accounts, and normally the service person doing the merging tells the customer this.Ours didnt. We were told we were screwed, and have a nice day. After calling two days in a row to speak to a manager, they begrudgingly told me I was being given the credit back, although I shouldnt be getting it b/c I should know I lose my credit when I merged into a family account. So now I have my 100$ back. The phone now costs 129.99, thus defeating my purpose of getting a free phone with my 100$ in credit. Can I get it at the price I originally came in to purchase it for?Got a whopping no for that one.Theyre upset at a 100$ they wouldve lost had I not merged an account and just kept my own, when I pay them $1608 every two years for my service.Do the math.Terrible customer service from a store I hadnt had problems with for years.Btw, went in to bite the bullet and get the phone anyways, was told to check in, waited 30 minutes at the top of the sign in list, and didnt get any help while I walked around and watched four people come in after me and immediately be attended to.Whos running that store?
Excellent service! Quick! Wish I had just made my purchase there rather than calling the 800#!
Very poor service, made me feel like I was a bother for purchasing a product and adding a whole new phone line. I called and had a Apple watch on hold. I walked in, was not greeted, stood there for about 7 minutes then finally someone came up to help me. I said I had a watch on hold, I couldn’t remember who I spoke too and said her name was Alexa but wasn’t sure, I saved it under my name so I didn’t think it was an issue (her name was actually Iesha) While I was waiting, another employee came over and asked if someone was helping me rudely, I said yes thanks. She said “Well who’s helping you?” and I said “I’m not sure he didn’t give me his name.” He walked back she gave me a dirty look and then rudely again said “His name is Robert.” Like I was so awful for not knowing. Iesha finally came over and said “I told you to ask for me when you got here.” I said I tried. She said she had to setup my watch in store. I just wanted to confirm it was going to be put on a cellular line and she replied “Yeah i know what I’m doing.” She went to set up my watch and I had clicked the restore button because I had an Apple Watch, I was just switching to cellular and didn’t want to reset everything. She was rude once again and said “Can I do this?!” Ok... then she picked the larger band for my wrist and I said actually I use the smaller one and she had a comment to make about that as well. What do you care what size band I’m using I already purchased the watch... My fiancé even tried to lighten the mood and make conversation when she asked if we just purchased the AirPods we had on, she just looked up at us and lifted her hair to show us she had one in her ear and never said a word. Anyway, the watch was never paired to my cellular service and I had to call customer service the next day and do it myself, so I guess she didn’t know what she was doing. I wouldn’t reccomend going to this store. Terrible experience very rude staff.
I dont think the sales reps explain all that is needed or expected. I was not treated very good when i was just in the store. Lady was very obstinate in talking to me. She acted like i was bothering her. Things have definately changed in that store.
Denise solved a problem I was having she was professional extremely knowledgeable excellent service Thank You Denise.
Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable
Bought a phone, after about 9 months it broke on me. They then sent me another one, which broke after like 3-4 months again (through no fault of my own). Not only was the staff unable to do anything (despite the fact that they sent me a broken phone as a replacement, but they were also very unhelpful in general. Their suggested method of fixing the problem was paying a 200 dollar fee that would let me purchase a new phone from them. The running total would have been about $1200 for the phone and fee, all because they sent me a broken phone.
Bradley was very helpful & fast was in and out in 5 minutes
Rudest people I ever talked with
Unfortunately, I had a horrible experience with this store. Spoke to one of the supervisors who continued to repeat that he could not cancel an order that was placed online. Due to delays on Verizons end in shipment, I am not receierec my order in time. As Im moving across the country, the order needs to be cancelled otherwise it will not arrive in time.I was told that I will have to speak to customer service over the phone. However, Ive waited over 55 minutes over the phone and have not spoken to anyone agent. Online chat has been useless.I suppose its too much to go the extra mile to assist a potential customer out.
Good team. Seem to handle customer flow well. Had a problem and they resolved professionally.
Just tried to EXCHANGE a WIFI hotspot purchased at another VERIZON store. They could not exchange it. I had to accept a return and get put into the breeze for a different hotspot device. Meghan the manager is the one that at first, suggested I got to the original store. But even that store couldn’t replace the device sold to me dysfunctional. I found this out by requesting they call ahead. Really glad they did because that trip would have been a waste of time.
This is the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE of any place Ive ever had to deal with!!!!! I went to buy a few accessories and stood there for 15 min waiting to be helped while 10 employees stood around talking. One asked if Id been help and I said no. He said ok and walked away. I placed my items on the counter and started walking out. I looked back and the one guy says I was just going to get your information. I said you just walked away from me and there have been 10 of you just standing around for 15 min and did nothing!! However, the pretty young lady in front of me got service immediately!! Never go to this store!!
Typical sales game, whatever it takes to sneak your bill into theyre commissions. Guy tried to ring me up an tablet and extra charger right after I told him a year ago another Verizon store lied and I got stuck with a 2 year Mobil hot spot ...less than happy with Verizon...
Everyone there was nice. Stayed late to answer our questions
