Our sales person Tim was excellent. There was no pressure whatsoever. He was very very patient with me and gave me prices on everything so I knew exactly my limitations! I also changed my mind a couple times. I did buy some great furniture and Im looking forward to delivery! And I also had a great experience with Cassie in the cashier area. She was so knowledgeable, she has a great personality. Therefore, Ill add that their great customer is merely a reflection of their managemen! Thank you so very much!

The level of service I received from start to finish was excellent. My furniture was in perfect condition during delivery and setup. Also the delivery drivers were very professional and courtesy.

They delivered a broken couch to us. When I called to see what could be done, they sent a man out to see if it could be fixed or if it needed to be replaced. He said someone would call in a few days. Never got a call. When I called they said that it was going to be replaced and they had scheduled a delivery date already without even asking if it was convenient. One day out from delivery, I realized I hadn’t gotten a confirmation text. I called and they said they moved the delivery date to the following week and had left me a message on July 1 at 1:30 telling me that. They did not call!!! I checked my cellphone account and there was no call from them. I told them I could not be home early so I needed a late appointment. No problem they said. Just got a text saying they would be here between 7:45 and 10:45 a.m. What a joke. I regret buying from them.Edit- To the “owner” who keeps emailing us a generic email asking us to reach out to you- Why don’t YOU reach out to US??? We’ve all done our part and played the game of being bounced from distribution center, to store, to manager who never calls… and everyone blaming everyone else. Why don’t YOU show some professionalism and look into OUR accounts and contact US???

Came to the store looking for living room furniture. Our consultant, Louise, was phenomenal. We had a wonderful time taking and making decisions. She was extremely knowledgeable of the merchandise. The reason for the 4 star rating, my delivery would have been 5 stars if the guys wore shoe covering when they delivered my furniture. They walked in my grass and proceeded into my house, I shouldn’t have to ask them to put on shoe covering it should be apart of their normal delivery routine.

The delivery men were prompt, courteous and professional. They called when they were on their way. The whole delivery process took 10 minutes. They cleaned up any debri that was left over. Good experience. Great job gentlemen!

She was extremely attentive yet not smothering as well as she had the most friendly personality!She was great in helping us shop for an accent chair for one of our bedrooms. When we told her we wanted something immediately she suggested the clearance room due to the long wait on furniture everywhere. Set out to buy a couch from another furniture store but stopped into Value city because it was on the way. Had a great experience working with Tim and ended up buying a couch from there instead. Tim was very patient, knowledgeable and attentive to our buying needs.

Had a not so great experience at a different furniture store and went to Value City, hoping for a better experience. Went to this store for an arm chair a few weeks ago and Tim was very helpful. Ordered a bar for my dining room on 5/31/21.Was told it would not be delivered until 7/2 which I was okay with. Received a call that the deliveries were backed up and the new scheduled delivery date would be 7/23. Called 7/21 to confirm and I was then told the delivery date was moved to 8/4. NO ONE!called to tell me this new information as I had made arrangements for someone to be home. To make matters worse..payments have already been deducted for an item that I havent received. Waited on hold for manager who never came to the phone..called back multiple times..no answer.This is not the way business is conducted.I will cancel order, close out account and never do business again!

Wish there was an option to give zero stars. I’m absolutely shocked at how terrible the customer experience is. I placed a hefty order in May 21 for a new living room set. They told me it would be ready for pickup on 8/5/21. I was hesitant but ok with waiting. 8/5 comes around and I I call, confirm pick up, and make arrangements to pick up on 8/6. I put all my old furniture out to the curb to be thrown away. I call again to confirm morning of 8/6, and then get told my order wouldn’t be ready until NOVEMBER 18th. Their customer service rep then yells over me on the phone that I don’t understand and it’s not their fault. I had to go to the store and ask for a full refund. The store manager was also apparently too busy to talk to me nor offer to help find a solution. Now I’m without any furniture in my living room. Great job Value City. Do NOT order from here!!!

Absolutely loving our new modular, reclining sectional. Delivery team arrived earlier than the time frame, but that was okay with me! Only issue I have is that they wore their snowy shoes in our home. The sectional is a light color way and I was paranoid about the snow/dirt getting on the brand new piece of furniture. I realize this is a draw back of furniture purchase in the winter, but I was hoping some sort of plastic wrap would’ve been on their shoes or they would’ve taken off when assembling in our home. Store experience was great!

Purchased 2 bedroom sets from this store and I’m not pleased with them at all. First of all one of the sets I purchased for my daughter the foot board broke with a week of me having it. Called the store to let them know about it they set up for someone to come out to fix it. It’s nothing but staples and glue holding it together. Then as I go on the drawers keep coming off track. Talked to the manager she said since it’s been 8 days since I had the set and returns are to be made within 7 days I would have to pay a $129 restocking fee and another delivery fee. I told her I’m not paying that it’s not my fault the set is cheap and I wanted to swap it for something different. I was giving a very hard time and they were being very unreasonable. So on my second set which is my bedroom set there is a big gap at the foot board of my bed where the mattress should be but instead the mattress seem shorter than it should be. I’ve looked at plenty of the floor models and yes some have a little gap but mine look terrible.

I love this store!! i came in here for the first time today and all the furniture is nicely placed. I’ve noticed that the workers do a great job with assisting the customers and making sure everyone is take care of. I came in looking with an open mind and I left greatly satisfied! We completed our order the 19th of April and received a ridiculous delivery date, today 7/27. So we wait our 3 MONTHS without front room furniture and when they deliver it, its missing a piece of furniture. The delivery guys dont have it on their itemize list of pieces to be delivered. They say we should have received an email stating that it wasnt in todays delivery.WE DID NOT. So I call the number on the receipt which happens to be the distribution center and they blame the store. They transfer me to the store and the initial person blames the distribution center. They transfer me to the manager and basically its going to be another 6 WEEKS to receive the rest of our order. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME HERE. Youre better off going somewhere else and actually receiving your furniture at a decent time AND WITH COMMUNICATION ( and accountability). Super unprofessional. We have to re furnish our back room and we will definitely be going somewhere else.

So far not good- lots of delays still being blamed on Covid all though things have opened up & moved on. I have made plans around a sofa that was ordered more than a month ago. Got a call saying change of 1 day on delivery which seemed reasonable, followed by another call saying “slight delay” which is more than another month away!!!! The first call represented a slight delay but the 2nd call was just ridiculous!!!! The suggestion was to come pick out a different piece of furniture which at this point makes me rethink everything. Extremely Limited options available and now have purchased other items & decorations around this piece….I’m not happy at all about this suggestion and the continued excuse of Covid delays!!!!! There should be more accommodations offered than an apology. There was no hesitation in drafting my account for payment. I feel these companies should offer some cash/discounts to show that they are truly sorry and trying to work with you & the vendors!

Value city has great products. I’ve always been happy with them. The delivery today was amazing. The guys were great courteous, they cared about my home and bringing the couch into my home. The furniture was wrapped very well. They put it together and cleaned everything up quickly. They wished me a wonderful day and left to their next stop. The furniture it great, and good prices. But the customer services is below standards. They dont 📞 call when they change your delivery date. The hold time is ridiculous...Ive been on hold for over an hour and ½ and that was from being Number 19 . Ive called Orland and it kept saying that they are closed during their business hours or in a meeting 🤔 if so I hope its improving their services.

Worst company ever I will never purchase from here again. Bought a couch during covid and waited two months for it to have them tell me it is discontinued and they no longer make it. So I had to pick a totally different couch and purchase a new one. Now I am waiting for this couch I so far received one piece last month and was told the rest would come June 22nd. Well the day before June 22nd I get another call saying this couch is out of stock and won’t come till July 20th. It has now been 5 months and i still don’t have a couch. I am beyond furious and am done with value city furniture for good.

My furniture was delivered as promised. The delivery men were very professional and conscientious about not damaging anything, including not driving on my lawn.

They took an order for couches that were supposed to be delivered after 4 months. They took the money and a week before delivery they informed me that it will be another 3 months to get them. Value Furniture is a one big joke. This is a way they take a interest free loans from their customers without telling them about it. Great business model but not for the customers.

I ordered my Furniture in October2020 and in December, my furniture was rescheduled for a delivery date in February. I was highly upset, yet I had paid for my items so I waited. On February 4th, the delivery people came to my apartment and walked up the staircase and stated that the furniture would not fit, because it was too tall. I was highly upset because I remember asking the salesperson if it would fit and he stated yes. We had even brought up my building to ensure. But the delivery people ensured me that it would not fit. I them go back to the store on Feb 5th to schedule a new delivery and all of the items weren’t available until May. I was highly upset, but the sales person did try to accommodate me and find another selection. I then found something else in which I had to pay more for to that item and it not even what I really wanted. I simply paid because I wanted something now because I had been waiting. It was then delivered today. Overall the sales person the second time was very professional and helpful. The delivery people today was so fast with moving everything in and setting it up.

Value city has a great selection of furniture to choose from, stylish and different price ranges . My daughter loves her bedroom set and we love the classy look as well. The delivery team was quick and fast during installation. Would’ve had 5 stars, we had to wait 2 mos. for the set to come in. Like everything els is slow now due to the Covid.

Horrible, I wish 0 was an option,purchased furniture in June, still waiting. I understand Covid-19, but a lot of the issues are just lack of staff concern. I received a couch, no chair, a dinette set that the color rubbed off the table onto the chairs. I was informed that, when a replacement dinette set was delivered, the old one would be picked up. Well I received a called stating I was getting a delivery, take of work for 4 hours . No delivery, but theyre actually picking up the dinette set. Did anyone call, no. Yet everytime its always an apology, no remedy. The final straw I received a replacement delivery on Saturday 9/12/20, the table is missing 2 screws and the table is wobbly, called the delivery drivers before the hit the corner good, was told they had to contact dispatch. They also left their trash, didnt unwrap the chairs, left all the the plastic on . Told my husband my hands are not so clean, you can unwrap it. Called service, long story short, I have to wait again and take off to get 2 screws, and not I cant use the table. All anyone ever says is Im sorry. Its easy to say Im sorry when youre not the one dealing with the issue. Make your staff( accountable for the work). I didnt have this issue with the roomplace, they cleaned up behind themselves and made sure everything was in working order.

I walked in to pick up a chair looked in the clearance center and found a twin mattress that I have been looking for Louise wrote out my ticket and I was in and out in less than 15 minutes I have never in my lifetime bought a piece of furniture that took that amount of time great experience I have always had good luck at value city furniture

Its taking way to long to get my furniture.. they originally told me that the delivery date was 2 and a half months from the day I paid.. I called the store 2 days before the date they told me.. the representative told me that someone had called me and left a message saying that I have to wait another 2 months.. and I paid cash in full.. lets see if I get any compensation for this..
