David and his team installed an 84” Rhodan trolling motor w a 36V lithium battery and charger on my 24” Key West. This thing is a game changer. The battery life is Fantastic with a very small footprint. I’ve fished 3x for 8 hour’s offshore and the charge has held all day. When I get home, I plug in the charger and it doesn’t need it because it’s at 100%. FISH-ON!!

CMV is awesome to work with. David and his team does it all and makes sure the work is top notch. I recently bought a new boat and had him do all the adders (autopilot, engine flush system, radar, fix the wiring of the amp from the factory, trolling motor, rod holders) instead of working with the dealer. I needed a few custom installations and maintenance done on our 2013 Pioneer 222 sport fish in preparation for our keys trip. Dave did an excellent job for a fair price. He installed bow seating backrests, replaced the horn, fixed the lounging/casting platform in bow, replaced the two small Yamaha command link gauges with a newer command link touch display and did Yamaha 300 engine maintenance. The new command link required a re-configuration of the dash and it looks beautiful. I also needed trailer work done and he arranged it and brought the boat and trailer over to the trailer guy. Boat was in and out in just over a week. Dave is professional and experienced and I will absolutely use him again.

I had a set of Bennett Trim Tabs installed by David. During installation it was discovered the Power Pole interfered with the trim tab actuator. Since I don’t use the PP very much I decided to have removed. David took care of setting up the fiberglass repair and helped me sell the Power Pole. Top notch install and professionalism. I will use CVM again when the time comes.

I left my boat at a repair shop that is just south of 95 on US1 for 9 days. I was told they would fix my water pump in one week. I called the shop twice during this nine day period and was told they would get the pump fixed. I also drove thru their lot a couple of times during this nine day period and noticed my boat hadn’t moved since I parked it. Changing out a water pump was normally a job I would do myself, but I’m tired of futzing around and having to wear the grease and grime off because it won’t just wash off your hands .. you have to wear it off ....On day ten I drove my still unfixed boat off their lot ...I called around to some other local shops and they all quoted about the same price and time frame to do this repair - about two or three weeks out .. I made one last call to Custom Marine Volusia and got the same answer... about two to three weeks before they could get to it .... after some cordial chatting with Dave, the owner of Custom Marine Volusia, he found out I was only 5 minutes or so from his shop. Dave declared us neighbors and told me to bring the boat in.... three days later I had my repaired boat back ... like a good neighbor, Dave was there !! His shop is clean, organized and professional, not like some shops I’ve been in ... personally I don’t recommend or endorse too many products or businesses, but Dave at Custom Marine Volusia gets our vote 👍👍👍 thanks Dave !! 👍👍👍🇺🇸
