We used Kalin to furnish two rooms in our new home, and we could not be more pleased. The entire team from sales, to front desk, to delivery are very professional. Patrice was our sales person and she was exceptional. She really listened to what we wanted and like but then gently steered us to make smart choice in fabric and colors. Will definitely go back if we have more home furnishing needs.

We had a great experience at Kalin. We were in need of a recliner and no sooner entered the store and were directed to the recliners. It was explained to us that certain tags were for those in stock and the ones without may not be available for a while. The salesman Mr. Dyer, left us be so we could shop and try out the recliners. No sales pressure at all. When we found the one we wanted and he drewup the paperwork and brought us to the girls to check out. We were out the door in no time. When we got home the phone rang and we set up the delivery for a week away. Very painless. We have used Kalin before and are never disappointed.

We had an awesome experience selecting furniture for our new home at Kalin. Our salesperson was Patrice and our Designer was Germaine. Germaine was amazing at guiding us to the furniture that met our style. She put together the living room, dining room, office and den and gave us suggestions without trying to change our vision, just tweak it and pull it all together. We met with her several times, and each visit she gave us our full attention. If I described what I wanted, she could quickly take me to something on the floor that worked, or show me something on the computer or in a catalog. We were never pushed towards a particular item, she respected our budget and tastes. She knows not only good design, but the manufacturers, furniture and accessories to coordinate our style. When everything arrived, we were pleasantly shocked and amazed at just how good it all looked. Germaine even came to the house and made suggestions for ways to group the furniture and how to arrange accessories. While the choices were sometimes difficult to make (becasue there were so many good ones!) this experience was beyond our expectations. I would not hesitate to ask for Germaine to help decorate my home again.

We love Kalins !Lydia Norton helped us pick out the best furnishings for our new home in Ormond Beach. We purchased items for our office, bedrooms, Living room and even the rug for the living room. She was great and not at all pushy.Kevin, Luis and Freddy came out today and set everything up for us. All three were professional, courteous and went over and above what was expected of them. I love this store! Great selection of quality furniture but what puts it over the top is their staff. Recently I took my brother to look for a sofa and we had Darren Oliver as our sales representative. A terrific person to work with: his knowledge of the different furniture lines and his more than two decades of experience were perfect for us as my brother was not sure exactly what he wanted. Turns out we both bought new couches from Darren. There was no high pressure or attempt to push anything on us. It was a fantastic shopping experience. I can’t wait for our new Stressless couches to arrive. Highly recommend this store and Darren.

With all the craziness that has impacted the furniture industry during Covid, he’s been upfront and honest by disclosing delays involved in receiving merchandise. When we moved from Washington State to Florida last year, we needed new furniture for almost every room. I picked Kalin’s because I knew we wanted Stressless chairs and Kalin’s had a good selection. Elena Semenchenko was our sales person and after working with her to just to look at the Stressless chairs I knew I’d be buying the rest of our furniture there. Elena spent a lot of time with my husband and me, told us what to look for and suggested we wait to order (our house wasn’t even built yet) until there was a sale which was determined by the manufacturer and not the store. Elena also helped me pick out a bedroom set, kitchen table and chairs and rugs for the family room and bedroom. When we finally moved here she set me up with one of the store designers Germaine Malone who helped me furnish our living room, dining room and entry way with furniture and rugs. I changed my mind so much and Germaine never let me just settle. She said I had to really like it. We started over several times. I love the pieces and colors I ended up with. I never could have picked them out on my own. Both Elena and Germaine were so easy to work with and neither was pushy in any way. Early on I was working with Elena from WA and she would research what I was looking for send me pictures of things she found. I was so grateful we were able to order our family room, kitchen and bedroom furniture before we moved because it was here waiting for us when we moved in. Kalin’s held the furniture in their warehouse until we could have it delivered. With Covid issues, it was taking up to 6 months to get delivery on furniture. I shouldn’t need new furniture for awhile, but if I do Kalin’s will be my first choice.

Kalin furniture is a wonderful store. We’ve always been pleased with their delivery service. We just had our delivery by Kelbie and Joey. They called to let us know they were 15 minutes away. They were so careful bringing our furniture into the house and setting it up. Quick, efficient, very careful and timely. Great job!

Unprofessionalism at its finest from the salesperson I dealt with. I decided to try Kalin for a second time since I had another bad experience prior to the last one with another salesperson. I selected a sofa in August 2020 and waited over a month for a sample of the fabric we chose to make sure it would work with the other pieces I ordered elsewhere. I never received a sample of the fabric nor a phone call from Andrea saying it would not be possible if that was the case.This time (Jan. 2021) we were approached by a woman named Patrice. I told her what I was looking for and she showed us the Lexington line of furniture which has a sofa that you can customize. We also selected two accent chairs and the fabric that I chose was questionable if it would be available for the chairs. She needed to check with the manufacturer. Meanwhile, we decided to go back to the store to place the order for the sofa and we had a backup plan for the chairs if we could not have the fabric I wanted. I called and she said she was not going to be there. When we arrived, there she was and I told her I can work with someone else since she had to go. Instead, she came over and said she could help us and wrote our order with the price of the sofa on it. I also selected two recliners if we couldn’t do the chairs knowing that the wait time for a La-z-boy recliner is “6 months”. Each time Patrice said she would call me, she never did and when I called her I was always told she was busy with customers. Did I not matter at all? If she didn’t have an answer, all she had to do was call and say so. She was annoyed and actually told me several times that I should go shop elsewhere. Her behavior was not normal and I questioned it from the moment she approached us. I called the store manager and he was not much help except that he put the phone on speaker and had Patrice call me. Did he think she would say the unprofessional things she said when no one was listening to her, in front of him? Unfortunately, she made several mistakes and that was not something she could change b/c I had copies of my order. When I called her to place the order w/o waiting for the chairs, she changed the price of the sofa by about $1000 and never once said she made a mistake on the price. She said the price of the sofa went up. I told her she had to honor the price on my order which was not an estimate. She told me she would not; and told me to go elsewhere to buy the furniture. I’m surprised that a store like Kalin would keep someone like this to help their customers. There is one very caring and professional salesperson that we had the chance to speak to when she was not around and his name is Scott. We recommend him highly. Unfortunately, when I had the experience with the store manager, I decided I could not give my business to that store b/c I was afraid of ever having to deal with him again if there was a problem.

I was looking everywhere for a very specific La-z-boy recliner. After submitting an online inquiry, Darren emailed me to tell me that they had two in stock and provided a competitive price up front. I went over all features of the recliner with Darren via phone, put down a deposit, then came in the next day to verify all equipment and pay in full. When we arrived there were no unexpected price changes, no unexpected equipment changes / mistakes. It was exactly what we wanted. We were able to pick it up the next business day at their warehouse right down the road. Perfect, seamless transaction. I cannot thank you enough!

I went to Hudsons Furniture before I went to Kalin and purchased a chair. After waiting 2 months to get it, they sent me the wrong chair. It took 2 weeks for them to pick it up, and I have to wait 5-7 days for them to put the refund on my credit card. So I went to Kalin to get another chair. After trying it out for a week, I felt that the lumbar was way too firm. They had no issue with letting me return the chair and had my refund in my credit card account before I even returned the chair. I spent a considerable amount of time picking out another chair. Tim Dyer was an excellent salesman. Not pressure. Very patient. He went out of his way to help me decide which chair would be best for my back. I finally picked one out at a great deal. The manager also was extremely accommodating. I would highly recommend Kalin. This will be my new furniture store.

I would like to highly recommend and commend Darren Oliver for the outstanding service he provided today when my husband and I came in to look at bedding and stressless chairs. I had taken a quick run through the day before to make sure Kalin had what we were looking for. Darren greeted me and gave me his card and when we came back today I asked for him and so glad I did. The main reason was he seemed professional and not pushy in my first brief encounter with him. My husband is NOT a good shopper and we have left many places empty handed because he couldn’t abide the salesperson even when they had exactly what we wanted. Last Saturday, we went to Kalin Furniture to see what they had in a recliner. My husband is having a tremendous number of medical problems and the doctor thought keeping his legs up would help, We were greeted by Tim Dyer. Talk about a great salesman. I told him what I was looking for. He was so knowledgeable helped us tremendously. Showed us the differences between certain chairs. I also wanted something made in the U.S.A. Tim showed us a Lazy Boy that was for a bigger man. (My husband is a good size man.) The chair was large and fit him to a T. On top of that it was automatic. The price was very reasonable and the quality was excellent. Tim showed us how the remote worked. He answered all of our questions and was very patient. We purchased the chair. Jeff in the delivery department called to ask about delivery. We opted for Wednesday as I felt, medically speaking, the sooner he got the chair and got his legs up, the better. They delivered the chair on Wednesday afternoon. The two fellows who delivered the chair were great. They went over the chairs features, showed him how the remote worked and then asked him to work the remote to be sure he understood. We are older. You will never know how much we appreciate the service we received from Tim, the sales associate; Jeff the scheduler; and the delivery people. We have purchased from Kalin before; but it has been a while. You can be sure after this experience, we will be back to purchase other items. This team was fantastic. I cant recommend them any more highly.

My husband and I are building a new home and are living out of state until the home is completed. We started checking out furniture stores in February and recognized immediately that Kalins carried the quality we were interested in. We initially met with Germaine, Kalins designer, to get a feeling of what our design sense was, which ultimately helped us to decide on the finishes for our new home. She was able to fine tune our taste to something that was clearly representative of both my husband and me. Since it was too early to order furniture, Germaine provided us with a packet of the items we were interested in and kept the same information on file. In August when we were ready to order, I contacted Germaine. I had to admit to her, however, that I was second guessing some of my original choices. Since Im out of state, she worked with me remotely over a two to three week period of time. Germaine sent me emails and links to complementary fabric options, alternatives to coffee tables, end table possibilities, and even room layout options. Even though my final decision was different than our original selection made back in February, Germaines help was invaluable every step of the way! And the icing on the cake was the price we paid for the furniture we ordered - it was about half of what I expected!

I recently purchased a beautiful sofa from Kalin’s Furniture and was expertly helped by Darren. He understood what we were looking for and pointed out several options. We chose it and in less than 10 days, we received our family room addition. It was professionally delivered; the gentlemen were very careful.We have since purchased side tables to finish our room. It was one of the best furniture shopping experiences I have had in a really really long time. Maybe its because we have looked around and do exactly what we want. We were having a hard time finding furniture that we needed because most of these furniture stores have to order it and it wont be here until next year and we needed our furniture now. we had a great salesman he gave us a great deal. This is a follow up review regarding delivery and receipt of our furniture.The delivery guys, I believe their names were Kevin and Freddie (sorry guys as I am terrible with names), were absolutely fantastic. I live in a four story condo building and the elevator was too small to accommodate the the largest piece of our sectional. Instead they had to maneuver the section up four flights of a very tight staircase. They did so without complaint and used great care. I couldnt be happier regarding the job they did. This is the type of service that causes me to continue to return to Kalin for future purchases. Thanks guys for going the extra mile.Earlier review: We went to Kalins to look for a reclining sofa and love seat. We were fortunate enough to work with Tim Dyer who walked us through all the pros and cons of the different collections, including quality of manufacturing, sourcing of product, and wearability. After much debate we decided to change direction mid-stream and instead focused on a sectional manufactured by Lexington. Surprisingly this sectional was more expensive than what we were looking at in recliners; however, the quality of the product along with Tims knowledge of the product, and patience working with us as we changed direction, gave us the comfort that we were making a better lifestyle purchase. Without a doubt Kalin will be the first place we shop for future furniture purchases and will work with Tim again.

Five Star Plus. I purchased a bedroom set from Kalin Home furnishings last year and just purchased a leather sectional from them. Tim helped us with both purchases. Hes the best of the best. No high pressure. Just helpful, knowledgeable, courteous and respectful. If youre in the market for furniture, this is the only destination you need to know about.
