Finally, a bike shop that I can depend on. I had my 06 Heritage serviced...tires, brakes, all fluids, and overall checkup and it runs better than it ever has. Staff is friendly and welcoming, even the dogs. They know bikes inside and out and are very reasonably priced. Ill definitely use them for all my service and highly recommend this shop. Jerry was referred to me from a friend back up north. I had accumulated a number of ‘mistakes’ with the work on my bike, from rigged lights to poorly spliced wires. Jerry not only fixed and fitted a light to my bike that did not originally fit, but more or less fully serviced my bike and went through every detail to make sure it would run safely and smoothly upon its return to me. I was riding nervously in my sportster for a month - Jerry put my mind at ease. This is the place to go for reliable and honest work. He will not charge you for work you do not need. I will be coming to Jerry and Jerry only for anything my bike needs from now on. 😃

After 2 other shops that could not fix my bike I took it to Jackmans. Jerry was able to diagnose and fix the issues. He then kept the bike a few more days and rode it around to make sure the problem was resolved.Incredible customer service! Him and his wife are very friendly and love to talk about motorcycles. I have known Jerry for over twenty years he knows his stuff! I would never have anyone else touch my bike, he is more knowledgeable than most factory trained Harley mechanics thats one reason why I will only let Jerry work on my bike, he is also very up front with what you need and what can wait, he is very methodical and focused when working on your bike to make sure it is right the first time, he is very easy to get along with and very down to earth, he builds some really nice bikes and a few have been in bike magazines, he does it all from a light bulb to a full on custom, Melanie his wife works there as well and is very easy to deal with and will go out of her way to help, Vern is a mechanic there and has been with them for years too and is easy to deal with as well, so give them a try you wont be disappointed, on a foot note bring dog treats for the dog pound that will greet you when you go there !!!!

I met Jerry just after he opened his shop in Ormond. He moved is shop from Maryland to here. I had him do some upgrades and customization to my Deluxe and his prices are great and his workmanship is outstanding. He is starting to develop a following here in Ormond. After meeting people/customers from his shop in Maryland I know why. Jerry is a very honest and beyond knowledgeable mechanic but most of all a bike builder. His shop is like no other as he has a large inventory of parts and all the right equipment to get the job done right the first time. Another great experience with Jackmans. They have been taking care of my bikes for over 10 years. I have had major and minor stuff done all with positive excellent results. This time was just for a spring service and check up. They work on my bike as if it were their own! Nobody else touches my bike except them. I highly recommend them for any work that needs to be done. They even loaded my bike into my trailer so I could pick it up after hours. Now thats service!

This shop is just setting up. Jerry & melanie moved the shop from Maryland and Im glad they settled in Ormond Beach. We really need a mechanic like jerry. I have known him a long time and he has worked on all of my bikes. They will be running right again soon.

Over the past few months, Jackman Custom Cycles has installed a new suspension front and rear, full exhaust, new air cleaner, fuel system, cams, handlebars, grips, and a few other things. The work is first rate and he does his homework before installing parts. If you want the most knowledgeable wrench in town, Jerry Jackman and his shop are the people to see. Hes earned my business for maintenance and custom work.

Just picked up my bike and made the 70 mile ride home. What a great job they did! Bike ran and handled excellent. Bike is a 2005 Wild West Vigilante that has been neglected for almost 8 years and needed much TLC to get it back on the road Jerry, Mike and Mel really came through replacing forks, trees all hand controls, tires and a bunch of other parts. Rebuilt carb, brakes and electronics and got everything working again. I know the front forks were a pain and Jerry had to find a suitable replacement since the company that originally supplied the front ends for Wild West is out of business. If you’ve ever worked on custom bikes you know parts are hardly ever interchangeable without much tweaking, cussing and throwing a tool or three but these folks pulled it off and it looks fantastic, much better than the original. Anyway can’t say enough good things about Jackman Custom Cycles. If you need anything from a part to a whole bike (and Jerry’s Bobbers are incredible) do yourself a favor and call on Jerry you won’t be sorry. In addition to speaking motorcycle these folks are just real nice people, liked them all right off. Guess I better shut up or they’ll have to put me on the payroll.Thanks again folks.

Great guy- brought in an 85 tour glide and a 80 fl. Weathers been horrible since i got them back so I didnt get to ride them. Both were normally tough to start-especially after sitting for a month or so, went out the first nice day and got ready to put on my charger hoping to ride this weekend- almost crapped myself when both immediately started and settled into a nice idle almost immediately. The shovelhead always stumbled and died after a mile or so- no more- runs great now (for a 35 year old bike). Tour glide runs better than ever- he woke up the SE heads and Thunderheader- always felt like there should be more there-now there is. Cant say enough good things about the work they did- kept me totally informed and i believe him when he says he treats them like his own. Hes the man- not cheap, but worth every cent- Im happy to give him my money and business.

Jackman’s cycles are great! They built my sporty motor for me. He mapped my motor and ordered the right parts for it. I went in and meet with Jackman himself. I told him what I wanted. He let me know what he could do and would be best for the bike. He was strait forward with me no BS. When I picked up my bike it exceeded my expectations. His attention to detail was outstanding. My experience with the Jackman Team was phenomenal!

I recommend Jerrys shop. Took a 2008 dyno-tuned Stage 1 Road King on a failing Power Commander (bike was intermittently shutting down and the PC was the culprit) to him. He recommended the V & H FP3 fuel pack which I was not beyond loosely familiar with and not so sure of. We discussed my needs and put the O2 sensors back in (seems strange for a tuner setup but works and the PCIII I had previously typically removes those sensors). Well it took a couple of maps but that bike is at the front of the Stage 1 crowd now with much stronger lower and middle torque than before. That is hard to come by on true duals but it squirts away from the other bikes with the cross-overs. It outperforms my old dyno-tune which was better than average. He wont over-sell you on a Stage 1 configuration and send your scooter out to the treadmill for some breathing and flow tests. Jerry gives good recommendations. He has my work now. Very capable.

Been going to Jackmans cycles since I bought my 2000 Dyna Glyde over a year ago.Now Ive a 2011 Electra Glyde Ultra. They put on new exhaust, new windshield and checked all my fluids. The bike not only sounds better. But, it has a lot more power, as well. They did the work in a couple of days. So, now I can get in the wind right away. Thanks, Jerry and Melanie. I have been using Jackman Custom Cycle since i purchased my bike. Jerry, Melanie and the team are TOP NOTCH. I have heard so many horror stories from my friends about service mishaps (Ie. bolts falling off minutes after leaving, repairs gone wrong, etc. etc.. the stories are endless). I have never had ANY problems like that. If you want it done right the FIRST time, go to Jackman. If you want to gamble, go elsewhere. All of the mechanics at Jackman have years of experience on MOTORCYCLES. Save yourself the frustration of going elsewhere and trust the team at Jackman!
