It was not stocked well. Tuesdays is delivery day. There Neutrogena products are very low in price $5.00 for hydrating lotion which is $31.00 for items at Walgreens. Omega Three 60 count at Walgreens is $31.00 same as fish oil tablets 100 for $5.00. Coffee Foldgers is $5.95 on weekends only at Dollar General. At Walmarts Coffee is 7.oo all the time. Dollar General has Eddys ice cream 2/$700. Dollar General is our only near downtown store. They have eggs, cheese, pizza, quality meats and frozen dinners. Shop Dolllar General when youre in Ottawa, Ks. Located on north main street. Friendly Employees.

I go to this store multiple times a week and usually have no problem but tonight I was charged twice for a can of soup and on batteries that are $1 off it only took $.75 off. I am very confident the store manager will reimburse me. It is a nice store to visit.

Always great sales on caffeinated beverages, especially. Wish they carried soy milk. My kids are lactose intolerant- allergic to almond milk but dont like the taste if basic lactose free milk, either.

Love the quality of items that I purchased and the price was right for me.

Only plus is it’s closer to my house rather than going on the other side of town. A lot of the stuff is out of stock on shelves (like the refrigerated section tonight). There’s almost always a u-boat blocking shelves on like every other isle. Not to mention the sign outside doesn’t light up (in idk how long!) so you never know by driving by if they’re actually open. Plus the employees are either listening to music through headphones or their phone speaker OR BLASTING IT OVER THE STORE THROUGH A SPEAKER. It’s always loud and annoying. The DG on the other side of town is always 5 stars!

This Dollar General had a great sale going on when we stopped by; we were able to find everything we were looking for and even the hook clamp for my keys that we couldnt find anywhere else. The cashier was very helpful and friendly, this store is highly recommended.

Store was clean well stocked, no boxes or carts blocking aisles. Cashier nice and friendly.

This DG store has done a total reset it is nice and will be much better as we get use to where things are.

Very ~very dirty the entire store. The bathroom was horrible Dirty. No soap for hands ..Where a person places there purchase the counter was very dirty.. Dont take much to wipe stuff down & clean .. Ottawa KS. about a week ago told clerk .

Workers were very helpful and kind. I use coupons and they enjoyed the deals I got almost as much as I did! Love being around supportive staff like that. Would go back to this DG every time.

Clean and well stocked!

The store usually is busy and always filled with stock carts as they are in a perpetual state of re-stocking. The stock carts in the aisles make it a pain to shop in the store. That being said, the employees are friendly and helpful and the store carries the main general supplies-not a large breadth of a single type of item but, a varying range of products.

Happy to have them back on the north side.

Good prices

Has a lot of good sales. Most weekends you can save $5 if you spend $25 or more. But if its not on sale here its usually cheaper at WALMART.

North. Dollar general is the best store in Ottawa people that work there and manager and shift managers make you feel like family and they are always ready to help if you need help finding something very caring group of people !!!

Seemed very disorganized

This Dollar General store is on the low-end of the scale when it comes to store appearance. The parking is haphazard due to lack of parking lines & others parking how ever they please. The exterior always has closeouts set out to puruse thru before going in. There can be some good deals, so keep your eye open. The interior is an entire different experience. The store has cramped over stocked feel. The store is kinda dark in alot of places. Some of the aisles are hard to get thru because of product needing stocked or just overflow. The place seems too small for what Dollar General offers. This is kinda lacking on corporate side. The store employees can only do so much and a few do actually try to help customers in a timely & professional manner.This review is merely my experiences with this particular Dollar General, your experiences may vary.

Hard to shop when the isles are full of boxed of product that hasnt been put away. Can rarely get down the house ware isle its so crammed full of unopened boxes.

While I know its impossible to shop the north dollar general, you can never get down the aisle where the bathroom towels are or the plastic totes. I want totes and am forced to go to Walmart because of this. Its gone on far to long. Please put the stock on the shelves.

I have never been in this store and not seen carts of stuff in the middle of almost every aisle.Employees complaining about wages, and not finding what I needed due to the clutter really turned me off
