Spring items on sale, my wife showed them where she got this floral painting at with the discount sign attached to it.... However, they still charged full price. Disappointed in their actions.

Advertisments/flyers blocked from view. The lady who helped in fabrics was bothered to have to help me. And she had no customers at that time she was assisting. She called over another employee who was setting new displays in prep for Black Friday. This gal was pleasant but was still too busy to assist and made me feel hurried. I did not ask for assist in anymore items, I left the store and did not finish my shopping.

Was disappointed the 4th of July merchandise on sale and no 40% off coupon.

First time here. Liked the store and options. Only problem which I hope management will fix, Advertised 2 brands being on sale. At the register find out that only one brand was on sale and sign was wrong. I believe signs should of been pulled and new signs printed. Spent twice as much as I expected to.

I love and hate this store at the same time. I cant think of anywhere else where I have to have a shopping list in mind and focus solely on what Im there for or else I end up with a cart load and a cash register receipt for $374 when all I wanted was a small bottle of acrylic paint...

If for some reason you cant find what youre looking for, just ask one of there friendly and knowledgeable staff members who will be more than happy to help you!

Not crowded and lots of craft supplies

I love my Hobby Lobby. Every visit is a wonderful experience. If I am in a hurry I ask an associate where I might find what I am looking for and they walk you to the item location and stay with you if you need help finding anything else. Even management will do the same. On a leisure visit I can spend hours looking at all the beautiful home decor items, crafts, floral, fabric, art supplies and framing, etc. Best of all there are always sales and a coupon for at least 40% of any one full price item. I am thrilled Hobby Lobby came to Ottumwa, Iowa.A 72 year old Crafting Granny.

I should probably let my wife do the review since she is the main reason we go to Hobby Lobby. The store at Ottumwa is well stocked and seems to have friendly and helpful employees. There are some areas of the store that have the kind of hobby stuff that interests me. Model rockets and other non crafty stuff. You know.....practical!Nice store. Corporate values that are actually in line with mine too.

We like the values this company supports. It’s a great place to find craft and event decorating supplies. I always know I can find the things to make my ideas into realities. I needed to find paint pens for a project I was doing, and found everything I needed on sale, and available when I wanted it. I don’t mind that Hobby Lobby is closed on Sunday. People should be at home with their families.

I appreciate hands off shopping experiences, but the few times Ive been in there I have yet to find an employee available to answer questions. Other than that, good selection, neat styles.
