Ive shopped at Aldis for years now. It was always be my go to store for the best prices on staples. Theyve increased their offerings and now have a good variety of the not so essential items. Their staff have always been helpful, friendly, and efficient while working.

Aldi never disappoints always have a great selection of food and alcohol, and dont forget the AOS aisle!

Excellent prices. Have very good selection of fruits/vegetables at excellent price. Also good prices on wine, cereals, breads and bakery items & dairy. Selections can vary one week to the next, and in a smaller size store there is obviously going to be a smaller quantity and variety of products. Im vegetarian so I cannot speak to any meat products. I was disappointed in the frozen pizza and ice creams.

Always pleasant. I have to say the Ottumwa Aldi has the best cashiers. Efficient but also really nice.

This is the first ALDI that I have been in outside of Minnesota. I never saw $0.29 avacados in MN! This store is large and spacious and looks like a nice place to shop.

Love this store. Need to shop here more often. Easy to navigate, although they dont have everything marked, I bought 2 different kinds of cherries, and there was only 1 sign, so I assumed the price was the same, 1 was slightly higher than the other. But other than that, no issues.

Was not as impressed as in the past. Things are higher and I had to wait quite a while to get checked out. I drive over from Pella and will just wait from now on when I come over to Ottumwa.

Good food for best price available make sure u bring bags or u have to use boxes- IF u can find them. Doesnt bother me because I use the reusable bags anyways. The quarter for a cart thing is great because people are incentivized to not leave their cars all over the parking lot where they can strike vehicles.

Aldi has been open on Sunday for a while now in our area. It is more convenient for those that work odd hours and shifts. The variety has improved and the amount of items they have in stock has improved as well.

I go there sometimes they have good deals on certain products

A sell branded grocery chain that focuses on cheaper prices. They have very good prices on produce. I am disappointed that they have cut down theyre organic food line.

I always shop here first. They have quality products, some name brand and specialty produces, and saves a LOT of money. I stop here first and get a good portion of the grocery lost checked off.

Last night at 730 I was waiting in line to check out. The line was very long but only one register was open. I waited in line for 15 minutes. When it was my turn to check out the lady ignored my reusable bags and started throwing my items in a cart. I asked her to hand me the bags so I could bag my items and she threw them in the cart. After paying for the items, I was trying to grab my bags out of the cart and she started throwing the next persons items in the cart. I asked her to stop for a moment to let me take my bags out of the way and she ignored me. While I appreciate the speed that she was trying to use- I do not appreciate the service. I felt like Aldi doesnt care about their service or customers. The prices are pretty good but the service was terrible.

Store nice and clean typical awesome Aldi experience. However one cashier after multiple visits does not care where your products land in your cart upon checkout. You could experience a box punching a hole in a product packaging or something else. I could imagine better customer service skills as well. For your exit to the store it leaves a sour customer experience. Overall still great asset in Ottumwa for groceries.

Average ALDIs with the semi regular offerings. Gets crowded after work like most ALDIs but they have more than enough carts at all times. Normally 2 registers open whenever I go through.

I love this store, I am picky about my groceries. I prefer to buy my fresh produce there. They are constantly receiving fresh produce with stock they keep refrigerated. Big plus right there. Apples become meely if stopped at room temperature. I buy my milk products, eggs and cheese from Aldi. The meat I buy from there is always good. Its where I usually buy my hams and turkeys from Aldi.
