This is an absolutely fantastic game store, and such a gem in Overland Park!! The selection is so expansive and well curated, and the staff is sooo nice. I bought some new Dice & a new dice bag recently and I loved their options (which included some awesome items from local makers!) and everything was so, so reasonably priced. Not to mention the store is connected to my absolute favorite brunch + cocktails spot & gaming cafe - Cardboard Corner Cafe!! Cant recommend this store, and the adjoined cafe, enough! 10/10

Very, very, very knowledgeable staff. They can help you find the perfect game. The staff is required to play and try out new games. They also have a phenomenal space to play in. The privates rooms you can reserve for games are great. Just a great table top gamer haven! Highly recommend!

Frankly the only game store I care to go to. I come in about once a week, their selection far surpasses every other game store in the area. The staff is pretty great, the owner just a real stand up guy. Sad Tobias is gone, but that’s life for you. Best selection of miniatures and paints, best selection of board games. My family loves the cardboard cafe. Only thing I would say about that is maybe consider creamer carafes v instead of individual but that’s such a minor gripe.If you are a fan of games and want a place you can feel proud to call your FLGS, look no further.

Playing here is free you just have to pay if you want food or drinks. Big wall of board/games they provide for free. Lots of fun !

I love this store. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They looked up a specific game for me that turned out to be out of production and even told me where I could go to find it online. They support local artists by featuring their merchandise. They have the coolest selection of dice. Im more of a casual gamer and I always feel super welcome here.

I came over to buy a game having no idea about the free game wall and cafe! What a gem to find!! So we spent more money than we planned but had good quality family time! I call that a win!

I do not know much about the various board games out there today, but we were able to pick up several games for our family there. One our sons has special needs, so we asked for a good dice game and they were able to recommend several options. Worth the visit!

Limited selection of things not D&D 5e with significantly higher prices above for what you can get directly from publishers for their gamebooks. Interesting dice selection, but Id recommend elsewhere if youre strictly looking to purchase playbooks or figurines. Staff is fairly friendly, but the limited selection and high prices make an otherwise interesting location sub-par.Food is acceptable, though overpriced for the quality and portion sizes; and they will not do you the courtesy of walking your food or drink over to you when seated. Waffles seem small. Chicken was dry. Salads were, okay. They gave good tea, and refills on iced coffee which is nice.Edit: in response to below, they do not mention it is bar service only at any time Ive ordered. A sign would be appropriate. The waffles are not very good and the chicken is still dry and overcooked. Ill admit the vibe is kinda cool, but Ill maintain the two star rating. Id like to rank it higher, but I will point out that you can easily order what you need without a middle man.

This store is AWESOME. I’m from Austin Texas, and the only store which comes close is called Dragons Lair. TTG&H is a smaller store with more selection! Tabletop games, minis, books, tons of paints, even tons of terrain! Both pre-made and stuff to diy terrain. Staff was super friendly and helpful / patient; i brought my 6 year old in with me. I’ve visited hobby stores in the past that were straight up rude because there was a kid in their store. It’s a shame this place doesn’t have an Austin location. It’s a great hobby store!!

Literally my favorite store other than Target. Very inviting and staff are very helpful. They even support local artists! Crazy amout of board games along with a vast variety of miniatures from just about every major line.

Ive been shopping here for years, moved away and just recently moved back and I love their new space. Clean, smells nice (which can be difficult with teens running around), organized and fun. They have demo board games in their game room. Love that they have a game in the main room set up so you can see it/read rules before buying. And there is a pretty adorable shop cat with extra toes hanging out in the store. They have events throughout the week for whatever your nerd-calling is. Definitely stop by yall!

This place is the most amazing place ever everyone is very helpful and friendly the environment is super clean and nice. I always come here any chance I get because of how awesome this place is plus cardboard cafe next door is a 5/5 for me as well! Recommend it for anyone thinking of coming here!

I went in yesterday because my family was interested in playing some new games. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. I am excited to go back and play some games and enjoy some food at the cafe. It was a wonderful experience and I am happy to spend a lot of money there feeding my familys new hobby!

A cornerstone store, no pun intended... theyre just so welcoming, knowledgeable and personable. Whether its a painting question, a new game you want to play, getting new info on a game, or just browsing - you can find a lot of what you want here.And if you cant? Theyre pretty reasonable. Talk to the clerks and they can try to help you order what you need if its not in stock. In terms of a general tabletop and book store, dice and more, they have what you need.

This is the best gaming store in the four state area. They have or can get any game imaginable from dungeons & dragons to Warhammer, Pokemon and magic the gathering. Ive been getting into the miniature hobby over the last couple years and this place is one of the best in the area for selection, service and even suggestions on how to select and use the products. Very knowledgeable and customer focused staff with suggestions and critiques of the latest tends. They now have a partner store thats expanding offerings by letting people get a feel for the hobby of table top games.

This store is a gamers paradise. I am not sure if I like the new location better or not. It doesnt really matter though. I still lose hours of my time when I go (in a good way). I cannot compare this store to other game shops in KC. I just know this is the one I go to every time Im in town.

Had a great experience this week. I came in to get a board game for my 5yo daughter since she had taken an interest in board games. The owner was super helpful and helped us pick out a coop unicorn game that we can work together on. She LOVES it. They have a huge selection. I will definitely be coming back for all my future gaming needs. I hope this place survives the COVID pandemic.

I love Tabletop so much. I go there more often than my budget would probably like. They have such a wide variety of tabletop games, accessories and books for roleplaying games, and all the dice you could ask for. They have a separate area that can be used for actually playing the games and even have some set to the side that one can play in the room to try before buying. So happy to have an awesome gaming store minutes from my house.And if you go, you have to pet Toebias (if he is in the mood for it)! Hes the most handsome little shop cat.

Apparently they have no idea where their salary comes from. Disappointed as I was getting ready to ask the same dumb question. I still dont know the answer.

The shop cat whos asleep on the dice display half the time Im there.Theres a room to the side that lets people play the games found in store. Their tournaments, clinics, open gaming, amazingly comprehensive expertise, shopping advice, selection, sense of humor, genuine friendliness, and I could go on, and on, have made me a loyal customer for life. Love these folks!!

Always great, friendly help from the staff here. They can even hold some products for you once they arrive in if they dont have them in stock.There is also a weekly game night every Thursday evening. The game room here has a good capacity (with huge gaming tables!), and recently theyve added a demo game library!

First off the staff is super polite and knew their regulars. It was nice to hear one of the clerks offering painting advice to a customer. Enormous selection of board games. Incredible section of reaper and wizkids minis. There were dozens of models I had never seen before. Great section of war gaming terrain, minis, and painting supplies. Prices were good for a brick and mortar store. This is the store Im okay with paying a little more for my goods because they also love the hobby. This isnt a faceless Amazon. These are gamers! Cant wait to go in to their game room for the first time as Im just getting into 40k. They also had support for other war games and DND. Im beyond excited to have this as my new local game store.

Large board game store, two massive aisles full of the newest and best (although some old gems). A couple aisles full of wargames, mainstream and niche, and a small section for RPGs. They have a massive room for playing which is getting remodeled. Friendly staff and good prices. Would highly recommend for every gamer! Not a MTG store it didnt look like, but otherwise ideal for everyone.
