We know the exact work that needs done on our car and the guy would not give a quote. Kept saying wed need to tow it there for him to look at it. Dont need to tow it all over town for shop after shop to look at it.

Andy was thorough while diagnosing my check engine light. They’re fair price turn around we’re greatly appreciated. I Am from out of town visiting and luckily my family have used A & D automotive. Good and honest people, they provide good services at fair prices.Follow-up, I went to another place for oil-change today, they pull out the bolt with threads on it. They said it is the fault of the last time oil change. Who knows? I changed oil in A & D, I dont know who should I blame for this, but clearly I am the victim. Is Is so hard to find a skilled and affordable car shop on St. Louis???

My family has gone to this shop since forever. Andy is my favorite! He never does extra stuff or sneak thing in, he tells you what it is. I had a problem with my car and he told me it was better to buy the piece for $80 because it was very dangerous to be driving around like that and it was going to be more expensive then, and I said ok and didnt listen ... about a month later I bring my car in for a repair that I couldve have done for cheap and Andy warned me! He is a very honest person!

Andy and David are awesome! They are very honest and knowledgeable. Never tries to sell you extra or unnecessary stuffs. Like one time I asked Andy to install a hitch for a trail for my relocation. He gave me the honest suggestion saying that a trailer may not be the best choice for me to go up and down mountains. This is just one of the examples. I am going to miss them after I move.
