I had read all the reviews and thought I had picked the best carpet place. Unfortunately they have changed ownership and are not the same. Betty was so nice and helpful with scheduling. The estimator who came to the house was so nice and happened to be one of the previous owners. On the day(s) of the install it all fell apart. Beware. They use subcontractors. Only one guy showed up. He was very friendly, but was several hours late. He spent a lot of time chatting on his phone lining up other jobs. Meanwhile, I sat outside with the dog so he wouldnt be under foot. Every time I came inside he was back on the phone with zero rooms finished. Midway through the day I became frustrated and called the office and asked to speak to Betty. The man who answered said she wasnt there. I told him the situation and he said hed talk to him. I asked if they could send a helper. No. Could they send a different guy the next day? No. Im sure he could tell I was crying. Did anyone check in to see if there was improvement? No. He couldnt finish in one day and commented that if hed come earlier hed have finished by the end of the day! The next day he had to take time out to call the company about his KIND bars to see if they were gluten free and took several more calls about picking up his checks from his other jobs. The install job DOES look well done, however the carpet in all 4 bedrooms has a thin brown line running the length of the room about every 2 - 3 feet. I did not notice that on the small swatch I took home. We were selling the house and didnt have time for a re-do. The new owners said the first thing they are doing is ripping out the carpet! What a waste of $2,100.00. I expected better from this company.
Tom was really great helping us pick out carpet that met our budget and is also good quality. We tried to buy from Lowes but their carpet specialist was continually tied up with other customers. Installation was great. They done in 30 minutes carpeting our bedroom.
Beautiful Carpet, Professional ServiceWhile researching carpet for a planned purchase, I learned about Shaw LifeProof and was sold. Carpets and More is their premier retailer in the Orlando area, and in working with them we were very pleased. The product quality is outstanding with an exceptional warranty for durability. We chose a deep plush in a neutral shade for our bedrooms, and a contemporary tone-on-tone geometric pattern in the same neutral color for several more public rooms of our home. The two carpets coordinate very well with each other and with our ceramic tile that runs through most of the house. The installers are employees and they are very experienced. The installation was completed with excellence and with a minimum of mess or disruption. I would highly recommend Carpets and More to anyone seeking flooring of exceptional quality and a personal touch in the entire sale and installation process.
I called carpets and more to request their services and felt discriminated as the person started laughing and asking if there was going to be a person at home that spoke English. My family owns several properties around the area and thought we could work with them but will now be hiring someone that does not discriminate against Latinos.
Carpets & More Oviedo installed beautiful wood floors in my kitchen. Excellent work and customer service!
Product looks awesome in the house, price was good and installation time was quick and professional. Arrived on time, worked hard and cleaned when they were done.
