I come in often just to do returns. I never spend a cent. Im always greeted with a smiling face, treated like Ive spent money, and thanked as I leave. This is an easy 5* for me.
After reading negative reviews I now know why Amazon never got my return that I dropped off at this UPS station,. I got an email about a month later from Amazon saying I never returned the item I was returning. After I explained that I had returned the item, which I took in to this location, ( which the lady was very rude to the elderly couple in front of me) Amazon finally gave me a refund.
Ive used this location to send packages, ship Amazon returns and to get documents notarized. The staff have been helpful, quick and professional on every occasion.
Took in an Amazon return on Dec 28. Had the QR Code on my phone for them to scan. Checked my credit card bill Jan 31 to see if I had been refunded yet. No. Check the tracking number for the package I had dropped off....it says waiting to be shipped. Thank goodness the customer service at Amazon took care of the refund.
There’s a reason people spend around ten minutes here at the time I arrived. It’s because the second person working is stocking instead of helping people who are waiting in line. Terrible customer service.
The worst place I ever been. Workers are rude and not helpful nor knows what the heck they doing. I hate having to go to a place and asking them why, what, and how. And the answer I get is I dont know and stare at me. Terrible stupid people. If you know what I mean.
Fed-X is to close to deal to deal with this rude woman ever again. But after reading other reviews Im not the only one that feels this way. Fed-X is right across from Target people and customer service is 5 star there. They were more than happy to accommodate me anyway possible.
Walked in at 6:15 on a cold, rainy Monday night with 5 packages to ship.I showed up with my items correctly taped shut & already addressed with a UPS shipping label that I printed easily at home. The lady was pleasant enough & had my packages scanned in & a receipt printed in about 30 seconds.Ill go back!Thought Id leave a good review with a real experience because of all the bad ones.Thank you lady!
Its a pretty good store not busy when I went in in the morning and I got right up and out in less than 5 minutes.
The woman that helped me at the time I went into the store was nice, but the package I sent out arrived at my house the next day so I called to ask why and the lady was extremely rude and said I mean I dont know, just bring it in to the store and we will get it sent out. I said I dont live close so this is a inconvenience so I have to bring it in even though I already did and this is your mistake? She said well yea if you want it shipped out
EDIT (after response from owner): Thank you for proving my point in your unwillingness to assist your customers when they do not understand the process/procedure. You knew what fees would be assessed and how the box needed to be re-packaged, but instead of explaining, you moved on to the next customer. Amazon and UPS will both be contacted. I appreciate the suggestions!Do not use for your Amazon returns. They clearly don’t make enough money off of these returns to care or be courteous when you come in for assistance. We received a broken item from an Amazon shipment. It was an expensive and large item. We called in advance to determine how the item needed to be repackaged, and received no guidance other than they needed to scan it before they could make any determinations about the package. Once the package was brought in, we were told we would be charged for them to print a label. The lady was extremely unhelpful, short and rude with us and moved on to the next customer without finishing assisting us. We were essentially told that all costs of the return of this broken, expensive item would be on us with no explanation of the process. Could use some work on customer service.
Worst UPS store I have been to. I do a lot of shipping and this store always takes forever. This time they disregarded the line and let a friend go up with her 6 boxes that had to be inputted. Ended up waiting over 10 minutes for something that literally took me 1 minute to complete from start to finish. I will drive to any other UPS stores from now on.
Ive been here a few times and most often it is busy, as such I understand that staff focuses on efficiencies and I greatly appreciate that is there focus.Fellow reviewers seem to be upset about the customer service and while I agree this is no chickfila anyone who has limited time and just want to have there package quickly shipped should understand the speed of this location is there good service.I plan I returning to this location again in the future for my shipping needs.
I’ve only used the place once to return a large package. Seemed pleasant enough and without any issue.
F I could give less than one-star, I would. I have not ever posted a public negative review before. It’s just not how I roll. I’m at my wits end though. After reading the overwhelming volume of negative reviews posted here for this store, I fully anticipate a reply to be posted from the store manager. In itself, that’s ironic since she is the person I had the run-in with.I cannot get resolution from her regarding a now almost month-old claim I filed for a shipment. I packed up four boxes of vintage, valuable dishes and shipped them in early June. 80 odd pieces across four boxes, in total. All to the same address. All insured. One dish of the 80 arrived broken. The recipient immediately sent me a picture of the broken dish and the crushed in corner of the box. He contacted the store. One of the ladies there contacted me. I sent her all of the documents and she was encouraging that it “might go quickly”, but didn’t make any promises. Then the manager replied to my email sent some time later when I asked for an update. She said it generally takes 5-10 days if it’s approved. I waited another 2-1/2 weeks and stopped to ship something and asked for her. She called me back. She said she’s had to send my paperwork 4 times to UPS and has spoken to them every day. She would call them again. The store owner has approved paying me the claim when UPS approves my claim. I didn’t hear back. I went in 2 days ago for a return drop off and asked for her. She was in the phone with the owner. They let her know I was there. She came out and stopped in front of me and just stared. No greeting. Just stared. I introduced myself. No response. I said I’m following up on my claim. Her response, was something to the effect that There’s no change. I told her it had been almost a month and I’d been told it would take about two weeks. She got very agitated and wanted to know who told me that. She said no one would have told me that and then she grabbed a folder and started rifling through it as if to prove me wrong. I said I didn’t like being called a liar and pulled up the email and read it out. Told her it was from her and what it said. Then her voice got very shrill and loud. She said, “ I said WHEN it was approved. It hasn’t been approved yet!” So I replied that the inference was that it would be approved. And I asked who else I could talk to. She said, “No one. There’s no one else you can talk to.” I asked for the claims Dept. She said they wouldn’t talk to me. She could give their number but they won’t talk to me. I told her that I didn’t like the way she was speaking to me. Then, oh boy, this was the cherry on the cake of my day! Then, she says LOUDLY, “Well I don’t like the way you’re speaking to ME! And I’m not going to speak anymore!” And she LITERALLY spins on her heel and walks fast to the back room and closes the door. I’m stunned. The other customers looking around like she wishes she could disappear. The lady helping me looks like she wishes she could hide. I said to the clerk helping me, “Are you kidding me? This is how customers are treated? I know it’s not your fault”. I asked for owners number and was refused. I was told it had been one of those days. Yet, honestly... As I left the store, she said “see you next time.” I confess that I said, “Oh no. I don’t think you will.”I agree with other negative reviews I’ve read about this store mostly on google reviews. There is a consistentProblem with customer service at this store. I’ve ignored it in the past and simply gotten in and out, tried to show kindness. I wasn’t rude with her this time. I didn’t raise my voice or curse or get animated. I was insistent and pressing for resolution. So yesterday I shipped several packages with their competitors as I will do in the future. To anyone who reads this, I won’t get into a social media argument with whoever replies to my review. I’ve already read all of the store managers replies and none of them ring true.
I unfortunately have to use this store often for Amazon returns, etc. Never once have I left there happy about the way I was treated as a customer. I don’t know if the 3 or 4 women in this store are over worked or what but they are just rude. Every. Single. Time. I can absolutely give people a pass, we all have a bad day. I’ve never seen anything like the consistent level of rudeness. I’m clearly not alone in my thinking based on other reviews.
Unable to drop off already addressed and ready to go Amazon returns here. During peak season, you have to wait in the main shipping/printing/notary line and the worker was very rude. I won’t be visiting this store again any time soon.
This Google site states the store closes at 6:30 pm. I arrived & the doors are locked, but the manager & another employee are still inside. I paid $27 online & printed my label.... I only needed the UPS letter packaging. They would not acknowledge my existence when I spoke. The manager would not simply walk back inside & hand me one so that I could drive it myself to the main hub. ABSOLUTELY NO CUSTOMER SERVICE here. Update to your response: I stood outside your doors trying to figure out what to do for a good 10 minutes while you ignored me.... I eventually got in my car to call ANOTHER UPS store to get directions on what to do next... thats when you walked to your covered car & ignored me yet again when I spoke. You never said anything to me until your employee was speaking to me.
Whew... some of these reviews are over Christmas shipping. Any company will be overwhelmed. I just avoid the madness these days, and ask my family to do the same. Make Christmas simple again.I just shipped from UPS Store. Had my own label. They greeted me nicely. Male clerk could have had a bit more personality, but he politely packed my goods in a box at my request, printed a receipt for me with tracking info, charged me nothing, and had me out in less than 5 minutes.A bit of balance on some of the reviews, please, considering that it was Christmas shipping in major suburbia. Some people are so quick to shoot from the hip with one star.
I had several items that I had to ship back to Amazon, and it was a lot of work because I also needed the return information for each item printed. I expected this to take a lot of time and for it to be a huge hassle, but thanks to the two very knowledgeable employees working that night, it was handled very quickly and efficiently. Stevie and Dora helped me so much, were both very friendly, and although it was close to their closing time, they took their time to make sure that everything was completed without making it seem like a big deal, even though it was. I honestly dont know if I wouldve been able to get it done without their help, and Im truly grateful for everything they did for me. Because of these two wonderful people, Ill definitely be a customer of this location again. Thanks Stevie and Dora!
I dropped off a package with an item that had been damaged during shipping. I mentioned that to the lady behind the counter after telling her I needed to return it to Amazon. Her immediate response? That has nothing to do with me. I simply said Okay and walked out.Just because youre a franchise doesnt mean it has NOTHING to do with you. You are still a representative/agent of UPS. A correct response would have been, Oh, Im sorry to hear that. Maybe, you should contact blah blah blah or do blah blah blah. I wasnt placing blame or trying to make the establishment responsible for the damage. And she would have realized that if she had responded respectfully. This is the second time someone at this location has been short with me.
Terrible service. Found workers to be unhelpful and rude.Update: to your response I find to be rude and unprofessional. I called before hand to ask if the box needed to be retapped and received and unhelpful response. Just telling me that couldnt tell until code was scanned. I brought the item in and told the employees the box needed to be retapped and received no response. So that $4 is on you. The weight of the box is irrelivant as I was returning a damaged item from Amazon. The $1.50 was not the issue more the manner of which I was treated.
She lady refused to ship my rifle scope because it was a “firearm part”. She should better educate herself on what is classified as such. I have done this numerous times at UPS stores in the past.
I had to ship a small box for my son. He had received the wrong product and was just returning it. I brought in the box and return label with me. I sat it up on the counter and told the lady that I just needed to return it. She said that will be $1... I was surprised and asked for what? And she said for the tape..... WHAT?? FOR THE EFFING TAPE USED TO CLOSE THE SMALL BOX I WAS SHIPPING?????? Needless to say I paid the $1 since it needed to be shipped but I didnt like it. And I let her know how ridiculous it is to have to pay A FREAKIN DOLLAR for about 12 inches of tape!!! If you pay shipping to UPS you shouldnt have to pay for the tape to seal the box!!!! RIDICULOUS!!! I will not ever ship UPS EVER EVER AGAIN!! And I mean EVER!!! In my opinion the hateful lady didnt even have to charge me the dollar... she was just being a hateful hag!!!!
I just needed to drop off a return for amazon. I had it sealed, I had my email ready to scan, she scanned it, she gave me a receipt, and said have a nice day. Took less than a minute. Thanks. :)
Just visited store to drop off a return with prepaid label. Out of the three women working the counter, none of them bothered to stop their chatter to greet me or speak to me at all. While I give kudos to them for the prompt service, recognizing what I was there for wihout having to ask, they lost me on professionalism and courtesy.
This is the only place to ship if you expect a place youre spending money at to be considerate of your items and willing to help beyond expectations how ever during a peak busy season 1 girls should never be up there running that store alone that means more waiting and less time to help each customer
The most awesome team of employees. Always helpful even during Christmas.
Tried calling and asking for help because my package was said have been delivered to owasso and they wouldnt even let me finish explaining everything before they told me to call a different number and hing up the phone
I came in and dropped off two boxes that had a dish receiver in each one, gave the lady the boxes and i asked is that all i do and she said yes have a good day. She didnt offer a receipt or anything. Dish network received one of the receivers but not the other, saying the other was never scanned in. called and started a investigation and absolutely no one can find this package. Why??? so now im having to pay 350 dollars for something ups lost.
Not friendly, not a pleasant experience. Not good examples for the trainee.
Customer service was absolutely terrible I had a quick question and the lady instantly got mad at me and refused to help and hung up the phone on me.
I had to ship unique item, 1960 gas tank, and the ladies at this store were very helpful. I am always greeted with a smile.
Absolutely hands down the worst customer service, worst attitude and sadly a lack of shipping knowledge. We can’t drop off packages of Bullets we manufacture because they can’t or perhaps just don’t want to learn. A bullet by itself is in no way a regulated item like gun powder, primers or even loaded ammo. Sadly we’ve taken the hazmat certification course and know what limits there are. All our loaded products go directly to the main customer service center or our diver picks that up since it’s a regulated shipment and requires the “ORM-D” sticker as required. We initiate the label and thus the responsibility falls on us as the shipper, not the store. This was even confirmed with UPS corporate on the phone standing in the store with the owner on the Call. But no... And this second time, my sixteen year old son witnessed the owner becoming very irritated and disrespectful. He came home and said he wouldn’t go back because the owner was hateful and the other ladies were not much better. So if you need to ship packages locally, then I suggest you try FedEx as we drop there weekly and they are always pleasant and have been for years. But yet again, we make a thirty mile trip to the main depot for one box. Way to go UPS Store...you have the best of the best representing you here in the great city of Owasso, OK...
Unhelpful! They tried to charge me for a piece of tape. The store in Claremore has never done that. Don’t waste your time here.
We really appreciate the great service we always receive from the staff. They are wonderful at packing items for shipping, too.
Ive had a PO Box there for about a decade and this is one of the hardest working stores in Owasso. Shipping is not always easy and not everyone is as patient as they should be (myself included), but the staff are professional and they all take great care of your packages.
Had to ship a package for a last minute order I received on a saturday which was my first and last day back in my hometown for weeks. Burnt rubber to get there before their 2:30pm closing time. Got there at 2:24pm and the door was locked. Knocked on the door, blonde girl came to door and said that her system was already down. She closed early so they did not receive any of my money. So I searched for who WAS still open and that was FedEx so that is what I did and it worked out very well and very smoothly. I am not going to UPS store anymore and I used to go there for anything I needed shipped.
Always busy SLOW and the platinum blonde that works here is always incredibly rude
The customer service is less than desirable. They were very rude and unhelpful.
The slowest UPS I have ever been in. The line is literally going out the door and they are averaging 1 person per 10 minutes. Every other ups asks the people with the prepaid labels to line up somewhere else so they can get them all in and out super fast. They are total ok with leting the line literally go out the door and around the corner. There was a lady with a baby out in the cold till we all smushed together to let her in. If its anywhere near a holiday avoid this place like the plague. AVOID AVOID AVOID. Wicked unprofessional.Ps. The only movement that took place that I saw in line, was the 6 or so people who got fed up and left in front of me before I also did the same.An update. Drove over to mail this copy that and was in and out in 30 seconds. Ups is awful.
The scale is 3ft above floor level so if you have large heavy package good luck lifting it and putting it on a tiny scale. Store owner should look into making the scale movable to the floor in case heavy package is being handled.
Worst service ever received at a shipping store. Looks like FedEx is the only choice for Owasso folks who appreciate good service.
Courteous and helpful staff.Highly recommend.
Terrible customer service. These gals make the frowny faces at the post office seem welcoming.
I went to get a shipping label printed not knowing first hand that I needed the item with me and the lady that worked there informed me very rudely that I had to have it.
They are very. Helpful
Had to drop off a package and the lady was rude and complained about having to answer the phone. Talked rudely to the customer on the phone and rudely to me as well. I will avoid this store at all cost from now on.
Good quick service.
Very rude customer service.
OK service, high inflated prices,
