Our 1 year-old car was inexplicably having trouble starting. There was no obvious cause and the routine check up did not find any problems. Honda of Owings Mills put a lot of time into identifying the problem and kept us up to date on every development. Their persistence paid off. They were able to identify the issue and resolve it. We had a great experience buying our van here! William Sing was awesome and helped us so much. I could tell good customer service is a priority for him! He gave 150% making sure we were happy and satisfied with our purchase. If only everyone had an attitude like William!Rashad Powell helped us with financing, and he had 5 star customer service, as well! It was honestly fun getting to work with him even at 9 pm to finish all the paperwork with our 2 tired kids with us!We had such an awesome experience. And we love our van- it was a great purchase. UPDATE: I received a very sincere and professional call from Daniel one of the service managers. He was very apologetic for my experience and for the changes I believed were taking place in the department. I give great respect and a compliment to Daniel for reaching out and acknowledging that there was room for improvement and an action plan in place to reach client satisfaction. It takes great integrity to accept respnsibility and I applaud this.I feel I can once again have confidence in this service department.Thank you Daniel.My vehicle is a 2007 Honda Accord, I purchased it new from the previous owners (Northwest Honda). I have always used this location for service, I believe you get what you pay for. I do not like to use unauthorized Honda vendors. Now with this ownership I no longer feel the quality of service as the previous ownership provided. It now feels like an assembly line type of service, the personal relationship with the service writers seems lost, and the special touches are lacking. During services fluid levels use to be topped off, I have found that is not being done. On my last visit, windshield fluid was not done, actually was empty.

She is consistently great and keeps me informed about my car. She handles difficult situations with ease and I always leave thinking this is why I am keeping my Honda. On 10/6/2021 I brought my car in for service of oil change and tire rotation. Two of the rims has scratches after I took it back.* UPDATES*I was pleasantly surprised that the General Manager took a swift action to resolve my issue. He called me to bring my car back to their dealership to fix the problem. The Service Manager has been very patient and made it quick and easy process. I really appreciate all their efforts. They have completely resolved my car’s issue and I’m so happy when I saw it. Great work!

On 9/27/2019 I brought my car in for service. The driver seat would not raise up, it only moved forward and back. The service department replaced the battery/motor for the seat. But instead of the informing me that THEY BROKE the seat trim while replacing the battery/motor they gave my car back and acted like nothing happened. They also left the wiring on the back of the seat showing I had to go back when I was off to have that fixed. Since then I have returned there a total of three other times for the same exact issue the broken seat trim that was due to no fault of my own. I went back on 9/30/2019, 07/20/2020, and 07/23/2020. The seat was in perfect condition before bring it to this establishment. They so called replaced the trim but I dont understand how when it is still BROKE. Now every time I drive I have to try to snap the trim back into place. The issue should never have happened to begin with. The trim is still broke.

I worked with Earl the sales manager who got me what I wanted at a great price. I expressed I wanted to be in and out as I was coming from out of town. His team and the finance manager was very nice and was able to get me out the door and on the road with a smile on my face. Would recommend this dealership even if you are out of town as some dealers take that as a sign you are not a serious buyer.

First off five stars not enough these guys....10 am is the business hours, and after car shopping for the past week I was out of patience so it wasnt even 9:30 am when I called and after a few rings the manger Mr. Mike answered. Lets not forget that I was at work, so I was working Mr. Mike, Mr. Russell Rose and the guy from finance (please forgive me I forgot your name) all working to get me the car that I wanted. I was having ongoing issues with the lane keep assist system on my car and Mohammed and the service techs were able to find and resolve the issue quickly and professionally. In addition to that despite the issue being caused by a windshields replacement they were able to get the car back to me quickly. A+ service. Will definitely come back for future service.

Kenric greeted us right when we walked in the door and was helpful from the start. We narrowed in on a CRV we absolutely love, my wife test drove it, and we hashed out a deal. I was referred to Honda of Owing Mills by a relative and decided to check it out for myself. This was by far the best and most professional car buying experience I have ever had in a car dealership. I had the utmost privilege to work with the dynamic team; Dominique (sales), Larry (finance), Sharon (Marketing) and Mike (Manager). Everyone in the dealership is very friendly. I felt their genuinely care, how they shared information with transparency helping me make the best decision that suited my family needs. I ended up with a 2021 Honda Pilot Limited Edition off the showroom floor that my family will enjoy for a long time. More Kudos to Dominique for delivering (driving) my car to my residence)1 hour away, gave us a detailed tutorial on the car features, programmed all our phones etc. etc. The oil was low and he went and bought a 5 quart and added. He went above and beyond, surpassed all my expectations. I recommend and endorse this dealership. I will definitely be going back if I need to trade, refinance or buy again. The experience was better than I anticipated bc I have a service center, Silver Spring on Automobile Blvd and Brian, my current service advisor that I normally visit for repairs on my car so I was apprehensive at best here. However, Julianne, service advisor at Honda of Owings, made me quite comfortable keeping me informed every step of the way on when the master tech arrived and an approximation on the potential time of the work being done. My car was in a state of massive repairs and it took up quite a few hours but Julianne was great in helping me use my vehicle warranty to assist repair cost and manage the stress. She is a wonderful asset to my now new Honda team. Thank you Honda of Owings Mill and thank you Julianne.

I called today to make a service appointment. The lady on the phone was so rude I decided to go to another dealership. It was obvious she didn’t even want to talk with me. She was extremely condescending and sarcastic. If you do not want to take service appointments over the phone then you should probably get another job.Update: Rose, that email is incorrect. Visited the dealership with my mother-in-law to straighten out an issue she had with the maintenance contract and extended warranty that the sales rep upsold her when she bought her car. The person with whom we dealt was very knowledgeable and fair. They removed the items from her contract and the amount financed was reduced accordingly.

Overall Honda use to be great. I didn’t buy my Honda there but I get all my services done for my 2015 Honda Civic. They forgot about me when I went and got my brakes done. Sharon talked me into getting them done & we all know someone that can do them a lot cheaper than $310 on the street. She had a gift of gab and I received 2 $25 gift cards for another service visit that I had to come back for because my report came back everything good, but needed brakes. Room for errors so I understood the first issue, and Aaron was amazing at giving me them coupons and explaining why they didn’t see I needed brakes previously. That’s why I decided to just get them done. Sharon never called me back when my car was done, nobody came to pick me up. I had to call. Dominique answered when I called and listened to me vent and apologized and came and picked me up in his personal car. Sudip the GM gave me another $50 off which I really appreciated. Although I’m not going back I’m a disappointed because I live up the street from Honda and it was very convenient for me. I’d rather go somewhere else and be valued during or while the service instead of accommodating me after issues occur. It’s a waste of my time and energy and I need my peace and to free because I was livid and was about to snatch my keys off the desk and drive off without paying anything. Sharon was cool at first but I should have went w my first gut instinct and got my brakes done elsewhere. But I guess thanks for another $50 off and losing a customer ✌🏽

My 2013 Honda Accord would apparently not power off. I had not ever experienced such a situation and was very concerned that since the engine would turn off but the power (electrical system) would not disengage (power off), that I would be at risk of draining the battery if left to sit over night. I called the service department after hours in the hope that I might get some expert recommendations regarding the source of the potential problem with the vehicle. Fortunately for me, I was transferred to a person by the name of Julie Brown who attempted to assist me with recommendations that hopefully would solve my problem.I am very pleased to report that after a few suggestions, Ms. Brown diagnosed my problem which ended up being a simple issue of something that was impeding my car shifter being able to be placed completely into the park position; hence would not allow the vehicle to completely disengage the power system.Kudos to Ms. Brown. Her assistance and expert diagnosisskills would make me return to the dealerships service department for sure. If every experience with a service department was like my experience with Ms. Brown, customer would look forward to having their cars serviced. She was absolutely outstanding!Kevin J. Jones

We communicated the day before I came in, told him what I was working with & he made EVERYTHING work and was very knowledgeable, even helped me get insurance that day! We ended the night off with our finance guy Larry Brooks where the process was so smooth I forgot I was doing business! He is well informed and explains everything thoroughly while also making you smile & crack laughs the entire time. The whole experience was phenomenal, it was like working with family!! *BUYER BEWARE* Was made to believe I was getting a great deal given the financial situation I was in a year ago. Now that Ive been able to get into a better situation I was able to get rid of the car that I bought there. At the time I purchased the car they wanted me to get an extended warranty. My car was a lease I did not need a warranty. I told them I was not interested and they still added it anyway (should have read the contract better) They charged me $2,985 for said warranty. I NEVER received any paperwork regarding it at the time of purchase. In fact it took me over 2 months to receive my paperwork from the dealership anyway after multiple attempts and no return phone calls. Then once I did receive a copy of everything it was two pages...we all know car paperwork is more then 2 pages. But again at the time I was grateful to have a car. Fast forward a year later, I no longer have the vehicle I purchased from them and the loan is paid in full. I wanted to cancel this extended warranty, cannot get a hold of anyone at the dealership. Had to call a sister dealership for help and was then referred to selling dealer. Marcus Kess, the finance manager was very very rude and defensive upon speaking with him and mad that I reached out to anyone but Honda of Owings Mills for assistance. What was I suppose to do when I wasnt receiving any sort of communication (which I now see is NOT their strong suit) Basically berated me and then told me he would process my warranty cancellation. At this point Im owed several thousand dollars. Just give me my money. Im sorry someone is going to be charged back on their commission but Im the customer and its my money. I called the extended warranty company myself and to this date they still have NOT received my cancellation paperwork which apparently can only come from the selling dealer. My point here is buyer beware. If its customer service youre looking for and wonderful personalities...stay away far away from this dealership.

By all accounts the buying experience itself was relatively painless. The staff was eager to get everything moving for my God Daughter to purchase her new vehicle. I live in Florida and getting everything signed and processed remotely as the cosigner on the loan went smoothly.Here is where my issue is with the dealer. Unfortunately we suffered a total loss on the vehicle in October. We needed several basic pieces of documentation to complete the claim with the GAP insurance. I called on 11/25, 11/27, 12/2, 12/3, 12/9 and again on 12/23. Each time I have been forwarded from the operator to the finance department and have only been able to get someone on the phone once. This was almost a month ago when I was promised follow up within the next couple of days to dig out the records. I have yet to receive any follow up, despite leaving at least 6 messages. Ive even reached out to the GM with no response.The expectation is simple. Give me the same level of service you provided when your team sold me the vehicle, as when I need support post purchase. Under no circumstances should a simple documentation request be this difficult. I expect better from the Honda name and will be certain to air my grievances with the corporate office.

We had a very pleasant experience. We specifically received help from Josh, he was very attentive and kind. We were in the middle of traveling when our car needed a repair, so it was quite stressful at first. However, Josh accommodated our needs and went the extra mile to make sure we got back on the road as soon as possible (Set up a rental car for us while our car was being repaired) . I would feel very confident going back and referring others to the Honda of Owings Mills.

Originally my wife brought our 2009 Honda Accord to Northwest Honda in Owings Mills for one drivers side TPMS sensor and an oil change. My wife was told by service Consultant she would need a long list of items. My wife tells me when she tried to pay with her credit card the machines in one area did not work so she had to go into a service office to pay.A few days later she get a call saying there was a mistake and she was not charged but her account was given a 300 dollar credit and they would like her to return to correct the mistake.Due to my wife being Hospitalized she was unable to return. This resulted in the car sitting for a few days after her trip to the dealership. While my wife was Hospitalized I came out to drive the car and found a large puddle of oil in my white driveway on two separate occasions. This was the 1st time since owning the car and Northwest Honda performing the work that this has happen and this car was always parked in the same spot.Today I returned to the dealership with the intention to pay our outstanding bill and to have the oil leak fixed. After waiting for sometime I was informed that whoever changed the oil before them caused the problem and that I should go back to them to have it fixed!! They say that the bolt they removed to change the oil was not an official Honda bolt but that they could fix for two hundred dollars more!!! None of this was explained to my wife on her 1st visit so I am to believe on her 1st trip they found this long list of things but missed that bolt? They made no comment about the bolt or not being able to work on the car before changing the oil and causing the problem. One of the few bolts they had to remove to complete the work they claim to have performed? On my wifes visit they could not even charge her card correctly!!! We brought a car in that did not have a leak and came home with one that cant hold oil and they refuse to fix something they directly worked on and I was treated like I was in the wrong for bringing the car back.!!! Customer service? How about respect and sorry for you inconvenience?The only thing they told me was that the car had over one hundred thousand miles on it and that it had to break sometime. I think they just used to much force on the bolt a stripped it and then did not want to take responsibility to fix. Guess I cant be to mad we are still up three hundred dollars due to there mistake. How can a business be run with such incompetence? We are happy to pay but I think that Northwest Honda should do what is right!!!!⁶⁶

I recently purchased a 2021 Honda Civic Sport from Eddie here at Honda of Owings Mills. What can I say but the entire experience was exceptional to say the least. Even Larry from financing was helpful and honest. Both Eddie and Larry took their time to explain everything to me. This was my second stop of the day and they ended up handling everything for me including upgrading me from purchasing a used vehicle to a new vehicle based on my needs and giving me a discount I didn’t have to ask for. I had left Anderson Honda upset that the salesman and his manger acted as if the used car that I wanted couldn’t receive any further discounts than $89 off. Keep in mind this car had been sitting on the lot since November and had to be charged before the test drive. I’m glad I walked away to do my due diligence in searching for a new car. The entire process was seamless and they made me feel comfortable with my decision. Please take a trip here if you are searching for a used or new vehicle, Eddie will most certainly listen to your needs and discuss all of your options.

My service by Josh was excellent BUT I had 2 jars of coins in the trunk of my car and after my car was returned both jars tops were off and the coins was ALL over my trunk. I know it wasnt like that prior to my car being serviced because I put something in the back of the trunk and contemplated removing the jars. The tops were securely on and so the thought of someone going into the jars NEVER crossed my mind. This has cast a dark shadow over all of the excellent service I have received. I honestly am doubting if I will get a Honda vehicle the next time I get a vehicle. Service and integrity is important to me. Again Josh thank you for making the visit pleasant!

Awesome service! We went to buy a used Honda Odyssey on Saturday afternoon/evening. They treated us with courtesy and stayed patient with us throughout, even staying past closing time to complete the process. I had thought I had brought the title for my trade-in but had forgotten it at home, but they let me bring it in the next business day when they did the detailing for my new car then. This dealership has raised the price from $23942. Buyer beware that this car has damage. It has damage that I pointed out. The dealership used car sales manager was rude and unprofessional. He called me an old “grandma “ and demanded that I explain how I came up with my offer, which I thought was a great price offer. After he refused my offer he said he was going to raise the price. This manager final price added back included costs in the advertised price, unethical business practices.

Really excellent service. I trust these people with every car in my household. And while I truly hate having to pay so much for an oil change, I appreciate the free WiFi, really good coffee, television, phone charging station, and comfortable waiting area. I like that I don’t have to leave my car there and that it’s comfortable enough that I can just say there and wait for my vehicle to be serviced. Everyone is always so kind and accommodating, and I can usually get in and out without losing an entire day of work. I recommend the people here. It’s really hard to trust people in the auto industry and especially in the auto service/repair industry, but I do feel safe with Honda of Owings Mills. I don’t trust my vehicle with anyone else.

I bought a Honda Fit (2018) from this dealership. They tricked (lowballing) me! Initially I was offered an attractive price, way below than MSRP, and then they added so many unnecessary things and the final price was unexpectedly higher and I found that when everything was final. On top of everything, Mr. Preston Jenkins (Finance Manager) miscalculated the final price (intentionally I believe) and charged me few thousand dollars higher than the actual final price. When I found that error the next day I bought the car, I went back to them, showed them the calculation error, and then they fixed it and offered me free car wash.I found them to be very cunning, unprofessional and not trustworthy. I am not coming back to this dealership again. If you use them to buy cars, make sure you check the final price breakdown minutely and calculate everything by yourself! Be aware of their Finance Manager (Preston Jenkins)!!

Bought a used rav4, price was good, my salesman was great, my issue really is the lack of attention to detail. the engine has an oil leak-okay, thats a chance you take on a used car, BUT, the in cabin air filter was never checked or changed, an $8.00 fix really, but they sold it to me in the vehicle, which makes you wonder. id probably buy again, but just be aware and look at everything, and know what youre buying. 4 out of 5 starts because of the filter.

Where do I even begin. I came into this dealership considering trading my car in. After test driving one, I fell in love. Kevin was my salesman and he did a good job. My fiance Richie and I purchased a Honda Civic SI preowned from this location 2 weeks ago. I am blown away by our favorite salesman Derek T. Booth! Derek did all the right things, he didnt overwhelm us when we pulled up. Derek was very knowledgeable with the cars and had helped us over the phone the previous week before we made the two hour drive to look at this car. Derek and this location worked until well past closing hours to make my fiances dream come true. We are so very thankful for your hospitality and just had an overall amazing time while we were there. Left my car at 7:30 a.m. for a fuel pump recall and an oil change, it was supposed to be ready for pickup at 11:00am. The time got changed it to 1:00pm. When I got there at 1:00 they had not done the fuel pump or oil change. Total waste of my day.
