Good coffee. They were super busy and short staffed - all business at the register but the guy making the drinks made time to say youre welcome when thanked.

Lovely lovely atmosphere! The employees are kind and generous. The beverage selection varies! I especially love their teas. Uptown is a great place to study, read, or enjoy your coffee and bagel with loved ones. Also a great spot for a first date just so happens ✨ The playlists are spot on. As far as Covid regulations, the only seating allowed is outdoor seating at the moment. Masks are required indoors at all times. Once they reopen fully to the public in all ways, I highly highly recommend this spot if youre looking for a homey environment to work, study or just be in.

Very popular, just off the square. They have hot and cold selections, with muffins and the like. Iced peach tea perfect for a hot day, and its served unsweetened so you can make it as sweet or not as you like!

I’ve never been disappointed with Uptown coffee. Every trip to Oxford I’m there. Friendly polite service, great food and amazing coffee.

The staff is polite and very quick on the draw. Wait times arent really an issue here. Plus the breezeway is nice. Im only giving it three stars because the coffee is not very good. Its highly acidic, which isnt my personal favorite, but it curdles all the dairy they use and makes everything taste sour. They leave their half and half sitting out next to the register. Which may not technically be bad, but that contributes to the curdling. Just a container of ice to sit it in would help that.Their teas are pretty good though.

WoW a hot fresh cup of coffee.I had a large Americano with whole milk and its rare to get a perfect cup. Ill be back to do Espresso..

My grandson wanted some boba but they didnt have that. The young man behind the counter was very patient with us and he was very friendly. We took our coffees with us and they were delicious ☺️

Super friendly staff, fast service, delicious drinks. I come here several times a week instead of Starbucks for a reason. This is one of my favorite places in Oxford. You can’t pass up the kind and helpful people that work here.

This coffee shop is really nice, and a good place to study, draw, do work, etc. My favorite things at this coffee shop are their brownies, their chocolate chip cookies, and their hot chocolate (I love chocolate). I also really like the coffee mugs they sell, I once got one with a beautifully painted lily on it as a gift for a family member, and they still own it to this day. In the summer, I always love to get their smoothies.

The service and atmosphere are fantastic. The coffee is delicious. I really like the pay it forward system they do, such as buy a latte for a person working on their thesis (which we did). Five minutes later we met said person who thanked us. Just being able to help out the college students is a sweet program. Many of us have been there and would have loved that.

The woman behind the counter is incredibly friendly (though her name escapes me right now!). She probably knows someone you know.The tea was incredible, just like the service. A great spot to stop if youre running around downtown Oxford.

Starbucks looks like a sun-dried earthworm next to this Caffeine Cathedral.

Only coffee shop I go to. One of the owners roasts all the beans they use and does a fantastic job. Super friendly staff that makes great coffee and, more importantly, makes everyone feel welcome. Dont know what I would do without this place, since its such a part of daily routine now.

Depends on the day but the every time I go they have left out an extra shot of espresso and/or the flavoring which I paid extra for. I used to love going here but I will not being coming back since it’s wasted my money and time.

Best place to study in Oxford, best coffee in Oxford! I go there numerous times a week to get assignments out of the way and nothing like a great cup of coffee. Reasonable prices, one of the cheaper places to get great coffee in Oxford.

I cant say enough good things about high point. the coffee is amazing and the atmosphere is charming. Their chai tea latte is one of the best I have ever had. But the thing that keeps me coming is the staff and the people. I have met some of the most amazing people going there to maintain my coffee addiction. I highly recommend it.

Uptown coffee and High Point coffee are not the same place. The new High Point Coffee location on Old Taylor Road. Uptown is on North Lamar. Uptown has a nice store and the coffee is usually good. Staff are usually nice but not always.

Great place for a marble mocha! They were fast and had delicious pastries. We made it to church on time down the street!

Good coffee and service

Ive been going to this coffee place since it opened when I was in high school early 2000s. Although it has gone through some name changes it has remained the best coffee place in Oxford. During its run it put a Starbucks out of business... just sayin. Great coffee, okay food, good people. Can be noisy so just bring your headphones.

My husband and I stop in for a quick cupHe got a mocha and I the iced white chocolate mocha. Both are amazing. If we are ever back in Oxford this will be a must

Ive been going to the café for as long as I can remember, probably my whole life. The staff here is like a family and are the nicest people to talk to about anything. The cafe is very inclusive and judgemental free. The drinks are unbeatable.Go here enough and you are sure to meet some new friends as most people are open to talk and share their life.

If you don’t mind your cappuccino scolding your tongue and throat, then visit. The barista with tats in his arms and cap in his head said, “well you can let it cool down.” Tossed in the garbage, im heading to Starbucks.

Their dessert are deciduous. Try carrot cake, banana nut muffin, and apple cinnemon muffin. They have good coffee as well, better than Starbucks at least, but not the best.

It was similar to Starbucks except it is not. I do prefer the local coffee shops, so I would recommend.

Their iced coffees are to die for their so cheap and their coffees quality is amazing

Been there twice--both times the Americano tasted bad (sour and watered down). Although their coffee is overpriced for the quality, I went there to get some work done so I was willing to pay the price for the space and access to internet--only to find that their internet was having problems! I paid over 8 dollars for two Americanos (if they were good I might have felt less angry) AND tip but the staff didnt care to inform their customers beforehand abt the connection problem although they were fully aware of it for a couple days. I just dont think that is good service and know I wont be back.

The coffee was gross AF. It only expressed burnt notes. stick to Cups coffee shop on West Jackson if you dont want to hate coffee for the rest of your life.
