It is so hard to find trusted mechanical repair shop, almost impossible! I get screwed so many times til I found Top Notch. They work on anything you can think of... name it ! The owner walk us through the shop, show us his amazing truck ( BTW he just won 8 trophies at the Iowa80 jamboree truck show 2 weeks ago!!!) His truck is so unique, you doesnt need to love trucks to appreciate the beauty of art his truck is. Its worth the detour. I just walked in and they took care of me right away even the yard was full ! They diagnosed my problem in timely manner, they explained to me the cost of the repairs and they kept me informed all the time. Goodies and coffee was part of the waiting time... All the staff was so nice and so helpful. I highly recommend Top Notch to anyone, 10 stars !!!

I was driving through Death Valley and having over heating problem and have been referred by Tim over there, he told me a should go to Top Notch. I was pleased I did went there! They looked at my Jeep, quickly diagnose the problem and I was out of there the same day! Thank you very much again to get me back on the road so fast! Efficient, valuable and quality!

I recently purchased a ‘56 bel air and I was on the hunt to find pictures of the restoration. After a good amount of research I was able to track down the shop that had restored and painted my bel air. I got in touch with Val. She was able to track down the paint code for my car, and she also sent me a before picture of my car before it was painted. I was relieved to have found a before picture of my bel air because I want to be able to tell the history behind it.Top Notch Repairs did an immaculate job painting this car. The paint looks like it literally came out of the paint booth. Keep in mind, this car was painted back in 2014 and it shines up extremely well. I often get compliments on how nice the paint job is. Kudos to Top Notch!The undercarriage of the car was also done. Very nicely done undercoating. There were no corners cut on this car. I know this because I took a magnet and went through the entire car. Every inch of the body stuck to the magent. No BONDO! I’m extremely happy with this car and the craftsmanship that went into it. As a business owner myself, I understand there are things that your staff cannot fix. But charging someone for a job you cant complete isnt what I would call good customer service.

I would give this business zero stars if possible.In September 2020 Top Notch Repairs (TNR) agreed to install a used engine in my 1994 Holiday Rambler motorhome. I paid $3000 to start the process. Within a few days they informed me that that engine would not work. They offered a “new” engine with a three-year warranty for a total of $6250. I agreed. After many delays and problems, they had to get a third engine and it took about 51 days total. During that time I learned that it was not a “new” engine but a reman engine. TNR had falsely misrepresented. I picked my RV up on November 11, 2020 and paid my complete invoice. Within the first 150 miles driven, engine problems manifested. I also noted slippage of the transmission. A licensed mechanic in Las Vegas identified that TNR had not installed an EGR hose nor put in proper transmission fluid. Very soon the EGR valve collapsed. After TNR refused to correct the problems when I brought it to their attention in December 2020, my attorney sent them a letter in January 2021 asking for a refund. TNR then had their attorney send a letter threatening me to drop the issue or else they were going to go back and charge me more money on an invoice I had already paid in full. Further mechanical discovery included numerous vacuum hoses dangling not connected, five of the eight bolts holding the engine to the transmission were stripped requiring reboring, critically low transmission fluid (transmission began slipping and I installed a new one in March 2021.) Despite all the efforts of my Las Vegas mechanic, this engine from TNR will not crank as of today. And despite numerous contact with TNR asking them to honor my warranty, they continue to ignore me.I am a 71 year old female, Mother and grandmother, USAF veteran with a chronic disability. I live full-time in my motorhome on very little income. And, right now I can’t even drive my motorhome out of the driveway because it won’t crank.

Ive read the reviews both positive and negative. From my experience, the negative reviews must not be telling the whole story! I have never experienced a more up front, honest and trustworthy group of people in all my 71 years!!! Great service in the office, we had a blast talking with these people while the job was being done. They checked out our heater unit not blowing hot air and the battery was barely holding a charge. So we wanted to get ready for winter! Met with the owner as well, he introduced us to his biography, anyway.. he helped us enjoy our time while waiting. Frank our mechanic was great and explanative with the repairs. Overall a bit pricey. Dont get me wrong, we bet on them for quality work, and we won!! Well definitely come back if needed.

Im guessing that they tried their best however, if they are unfamiliar with the classic vehicle that they are working on, then you sure are going to pay for their education to learn how to work on your car. And I mean hourly. The original quote that I received was pretty pricey but I figured it may be worth it to have my car running properly. By the time I received the vehicle the price had more than doubled and most of that was labor charges because they had to learn what to do to my vehicle. The car is still not drivable and I spent a small fortune that I really shouldnt have had to afford.

The power steering pump in my 1991 Coachmen Royal motorhome went out the pump is nowhere to be found but top-notch can find it for me through their Amazon account soon I will be back on the road again as soon as they call me for a okay to go down there and have it replaced very friendly group getting some Diagnostics done on the engine very fair prices definitely a must stop if you need help with your RV on the road I will definitely recommend my RV friends to Top Notch in Pahrump Nevada

If you are passing through Pahrump and need RV repair, don’t stop here unless 1. You know exactly what’s needed, 2. Can watch what is being done, 3. Know how much it should cost and can negotiate. Still wondering why work cost $700. What I requested was not transmitted to mechanic. On next visit, oil did get changed and new air filter put on, a steering damper was said to be put on (can’t tell difference). I dropped the ball on this endeavor. The panel on inside didn’t turn out well, even tho he only had to tack it up!

We were on vacation and headed to Death Valley when my truck developed a diesel fuel leak, but we were able to cripple in to Pahrump in late afternoon. First place I called was Top Notch. They looked at my truck immediately but could not pinpoint the leak and it was too late in the day for proper diagnostics. So they offered us a place to park the truck/camper next to the shop, supplied us with clean water and an electrical hookup, all free of charge. The next morning, Frank was able to locate the leak on one of the lines between the fuel tank and the fuel pump, and replaced both fuel lines to be on the safe side. He completed the job by late morning for less than the estimate, and we were back on our way. The total cost was very reasonable. Frank was extremely knowledgeable about my truck and did a very professional job. The office staff is wonderful, friendly, and provided a complete estimate before repair work was initiated. This was a very happy ending to what could have been a disaster that ruined our vacation. Kudos to Top Notch. I just wish I lived near Pahrump so I could use them as my regular mechanics.

I have them to change oil on my mini van, it takes around 45 minutes every time. I call first to make sure they have a spot in their schedule. They check fluids at the same time so to prevent major trouble. They also take care of my husbands diesel truck since his back is hurting too much to do it himself. An honest shop IMO

This is the first time that a repair shop took the time to explain what was wrong with my vehicle. They suggested alternatives/different options to fix it according to my budget. I felt that I could trust them. I didnt feel the same trust at a couple of other shops that Ive tried before. I will adopt this repair shop as my trusted go-to. These folks live up to their name. All the commercial truckers in their service bays are a good indicator that youve come to the right place. They take special interest in old cars, so you know your car will be respected. And yes, they will come to your house is the repair is one that most likely can be handled away from the shop. And if that turns out to be the case, no problem, because the truck is equipped for flat-bed towing.I called for home visit because I was pretty sure I had a short in the wires/cables attached to my battery. The technician arrived the same morning I called, and fixed my problem by replacing faulty (old, gunked up) wiring. The charge was reasonable considering I never had to bother with a tow. They told me upfront what the charge for the service call would be and that I would be charged for an hour of labor. A very small additional charge was then made for the actual nature of the repair. There was NO diagnostic charge. I then took the car in a few days later for regular oil change and general inspection.They fixed, but did not charge me, for properly grounding an int

Had our motor home towed in. Told them we knew the water pump had gone out. Told them it had over heated. Apparently they did not do any diagnostics. Gave us a bill of $4,198.02 to change out the water pump. My husband had a shop for over twenty five years in Vegas, so upon further inspection he believes there is a blown head gasket and possible scored pistons. As there is a miss and oil blowing out of the dipstick tube. This coupled with excessive smoke from the exhaust suggests to me that they never even looked at our motor home. And of all the nerve, a fifty dollar diagnostic fee?! What explanation would you have given us when the water pump didnt fix the engine problem?! Shame on you!

They took us in immediately upon arrival, let us spend the night in their compound, and had us repaired by mid-morning. The owner and all the staff were pleasant and accommodating and friendly. I was looking for a place to detail my car and found Top Notch online in an app called Nextdoor.I spent the weekend away on an outing and had taken my cooler with me. While driving, I applied the brakes suddenly to avoid running a red light and in doing so my cooler tipped over which was full of water. It smelled a bit. After returning I took the vehicle over to Top Notch and they cleaned the outside and inside to make it look like new.I am very pleased.

The wife and i broke down in death valley. Towed up to top notch. We arrived without warning @9pm. They had friendly understanding people there that let us in to drop off. In the morning they called with an estimate. When we arrived to pick up. The charge was less then originally stated. Very honest. Unfortunately the repair they made wasnt all of our problems. We were able to get back to them when they discovered a recall that we werent made aware of when we bought it. Since we already used our towing miles the tow company wanted 500$to get us back to vegas. The people at top notch said they would do it for 50$. Very good very helpful and very knowledgeable staff...

These people swindled me. They were dishonest about what was wrong with my car. Tried charging me $1200. I took it to another mechanic who told me the actual problem, cleared the code and sent me on my way for $75. Do not trust them with your repairs.These people are liars. Plain and simple. It is no coincidence that so many people write reviews basically saying the same thing. DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE! RUN AWAY! Nice place!, I was stuck on the road with my rv near Pahrump. The towing company recommended Top Notch. It was late, but they let me in, and allowed me to stay with my vehicle on their property til morning. That was a relief... they got me fixed quickly the next day and I was back on my feet.Thank you Top Notch, heres an update to my review:A visit is always pleasant at Top Notch for regular maintenance of my car. Oil change, fluids check, tires check. I travel quite a lot. I also went to their car show earlier this month, despite the weather, that was a big deal of a show, I was impressed and enjoyed it! We have to wait for a part for our 5th wheel the lady here said we can stay over night in their lot since they wont get the part until tomorrow afternoon so I figured dry camping, no they moved us over to a place where they let us hook up to their electricity and if we needed water we could hook up and use their water I think it is a family owned shop and they are so nice and welcome you with a big smile I would recommend this shop

As we were travelling home in our motorhome (diesel) from Arizona to BC, found we had an air leak in our suspension/brake system when we reached Pahrump. It was late on a Saturday night, so went in search of a repair shop in our car on a Sunday morning. Their was staff working on a Sunday at Top Notch Repairs. They were very friendly, and no problem booking an appt first thing Monday morning. Arrived at 9:30, diagnosed and in the shop by 10:00. Repairs done by 10:30. They checked to make sure everything else was working properly. Made it back to Canada with no other issues. All for $135 (labour and a few small parts). Friendly, efficient and professional staff, including the girls in the office. Would recommend them for diesel service.

My wife took our 04 Dodge 2500 5.9 to them last Friday after she said she heard something break while she was driving. They had it until today and the truck runs great again. She said the owners and staff were extremely helpful and I can’t wait to meet them, which I will do soon. She also agreed that we would volunteer at the Pahrump Car Show October 6 & 7 at their shop.Edit: Went back this week and had the 5th wheel hitch and brake controller transferred to new truck. Again great service and half the cost as in Vegas.

Pahrump has some strange things but this place wins as strangest business. The owner is a self-professed guru and got himself into all sorts of controversy for running a doomsday cult and it allegedly involved the unlawful crossing of international borders with children. The Youth Protection Bureau of Quebec Canada got involved. Just google the owners name, and have a read: Marcel Pontbriand.From a business perspective these people did horribly faulty work for me. Top Notch Repair charged me at least four times, yes FOUR TIMES what the job should have cost (this according to the manufacturer of the item they attempted to install for me), and then when their work was faulty they lied to me and wouldnt make it right. I caught them red handed. They lie lie lie right to your face. Zero credibility. It is like a three ring circus. Right hand doesnt know what left hand is doing. Then when you confront them they try to blame it on language issues.Avoid this circus at all costs!

I’d recently (2 weeks ago) had my diesel pusher Motorhome serviced in the San Bernardino area, all seemed great but after driving 400 miles I found that my mud flap, tow bar and towed Jeep hood & front fenders were covered in a fine spray of oil. Apparently the San Bernardino establishment had added 5 quarts of extra motor oil to my Cat C7 motor which was now misting out of the breather tube covering everything in its sight line with oil. My good luck was finding TOP NOTCH REPAIRS IN Pahrump who were immediately able to remove the extra quarts of oil before my motor was damaged and my radiator’s airflow blocked by oil and dust. They really knew what they were doing, got the work done while I waited and charged an extremely fair price. Very customer service oriented people. We’ll be back again when we’re in the Pahrump area. We couldn’t be happier with this job done. THANK YOU GUYS😎

Top Notch Will probably say I was not a customer, like they have to other truthful reviews. Good Sam towed me there 9-9-2918. It was worst repair experience of my life . Believe me I wish I was never a customer of theirs. Top Notch said I needed new engine. On 9-29-18 I picked up my rv ( new engine installed) it ran terrible, I took it back they said need new head as #4 cylinder had bad exhaust valve. Wife and I left there to be repaired, back home to Az, again. We never heard from them so, 10-11-18 called them, they said needed new replacement engine and would let us know when it came in and a time to pick it up. Called several time kept being told not ready and we should not be upset as they werent being paid to install 2nd engine, they should be ones upset with us? On 10-31-18 we finally got call saying rv ready. We could not pick it up till 11-5-18. Our rv was filthy inside and out carpet still wet from smearing grease around. I was going to complain about it but wife said not to (after 2 months and constant lies from them) she just wanted to get our rv away from them. So driving home to Az. engine light came on only 122 miles, we made it home called Top Notch no response.from them. I took it to local garage repaired in few hours. Ive come to this shop twice. The first time was to install exterior door handles. The second time was to have my power steering pump replaced, a new gear box, a power steering pump cooler, and lower ball joints. They have done a great job. I was without my truck for two days and they drove me to and from my house. I just put their work to the test by driving from Pahrump, NV to Cape May County, NJ pulling a 6×12 Uhaul trailer. The truck handled the weather, tough road conditions and weight no matter what I needed to put it through without any issues. If Im ever back in the area I will go to them again.

Hi we had a black Nissan titan pick up truck is it 2005 top not had it they made a mess out of it we took it somewhere else to get work done they couldn’t believe their eyes this is a bad place to take your vehicle I don’t they charge us a ridiculous price giving it a tuneup without the motor even running they’re pretty sad people I wouldn’t be taking your vehicles know where Overthere unfriendly people
