The guy behind the counter could stand to improve his personality. He was a bit rude & had somewhat of an attitude. I wont go back. (August 18, Update): Documentation, in support of my review, can be found by checking out other 1 star reviews, and by reading this business response to MY initial review. One can clearly see some of the attitude I mentioned in my initial review. Instead of using the negative reviews as a tool to improve upon his lack of customer service skills, like most PROFESSIONAL businesses would, his immature nature, lack of class and home training compelled him to reply the way he did. Ironically, his reply to my review simply proved my point. I would blame his parents, but they probably tried their best!

I was having an issue with my tablet,taking connection for a one-way interview. They fixed me IP in 5 minutes and bought a webcam to update laptop. Simple enough. Just plug into laptop and go. They rock!!! By the way I received a job offer.

When in to sell them a computer. Making deal with one person. We where getting along nicely and making a deal till one other guy spoke up and I qoute Like I said we not taking anything in right now. But you had to hear the voice tone. One more thing,, the guy that said that told me to reinstall the computer earlier in the week and bring it back. Cause of this guy I will not be doing anymore business with them. SORRY GCD lost a customer. Please if you not buying anymore put a sign up so other wont get embarrassed like Me.

Great Computer Deals is an excellent store. From my first visit, to my most recent, Sterling, Josh, and Brit extended to me nothing but friendly knowledgable service. My old laptop, which I wasnt sure could even be fixed, needed a new hard drive, new operating system, and files transferred to the new drive. I was pleasantly surprised by the whole process. From the first visit and diagnosis, to the second visit for a speedy repair, and finally to a really fair cost, it was a great experience. Ive spent many years in the retail/service arena myself, and Im not easily impressed. These guys are the best!

Came in about 45 minutes before they closed with a blue screen of death. Diagnosed within minutes and decided to replace the hard drive. Completed after hours at a very reasonable price. These folks will be my Go too place from now on.

Friendly staff; but I think they charge too much for refurbished computers. Otherwise, its a good place to get what you need if you dont mind using refurbished computers.

The Asian gentleman with glasses is especially friendly and knowledgeable (sorry I forgot your name if you read this). Our call dropped thanks to Sprint so I decided to begin a journey to the store and he called me back, which was considerate. He understood the project I wanted to do and I was successful thanks to his guidance.

I was traveling and my cable for my MacBook pro broke from many years of use. I checked the other computer store, they said my MacBook pro was too old, they dont sell old stuff. well since they dont make a new 17 inch MacBook pro, we have to preserve what we have. I called this store and they had 2 different lengths.when I walked in the store was well stocked, well organized, and glad they were wearing masks. I even gave them see new masks.glad I stopped here my laptop is going again and I can continue my journey while working in the road.

Very friendly and knowledgeable - no pushy sales talk -- eager to explain things in English with no techno-talk (just like his daughter says in the ad)! Josh listened patiently to my needs and guided me to a reasonably priced computer. When I realized later that I wanted additional functionality, Josh and Kyle assisted me in upgrading my system. Very happy with my dealings with Great Computer Deals!

Fixed my computer rather quickly. The staff is knowledgeable and professional. The prices are a little high and the inventory is poor. But I will continue to go here first. They are very trust worthy and helpful. The store hours are good as well.

It’s never a good time for computer issues. My Mac stopped recognizing my external hard drive. I called Great Computer Deals and spoke with Sterling. He was very helpful and recommended I bring my Mac and EHD by for him to check out. He explained their VERY reasonable diagnostic charges.Because of the Covid-19 Pandemic, there were notices on/around the front door requesting a call to their number first to let them know you (the customer) was there. I called and quickly Sterling came out. He gave me the option to wait in my van or in the store. I opted to wait in the store.During the time I was there, there were five other customers and with the exception of one (and me), no one wore face masks. No one else called the number as requested. It is Pahrump, however. I mentioned to the owner/manager that I REALLY appreciated that they were following the CDC recommendations even if the customers didn’t.Sterling diagnosed the issue quickly and made recommendations based on the least-costly solution. In the end, I opted to replace my 5-7 year old EHD (maybe older) with a new 2TB My Passport along with a flash drive and a new power cord for my Mac.The service at Great Computer Deals was fantastic and they offered very good value. I also appreciated that they are taking the pandemic seriously, wearing masks, gloves, and practicing social distancing. I am only here temporarily, but I will tell my brother who lives here that if he needs any computer help to go to Great Computer Deals.

I brought my computer to them because I downloaded a program that came along with something that messed my computer up. I was fully expecting to pay a fee so that they can fix my computer. I was surprised when the tech said they give 5 minute consultations for free. The tech quickly downloaded a free anti-malware program that I ran, once returning, home and have now removed all threats from my computer. It is running perfectly! Great Computer Deals is the kind of business you want to go to because they are honest!

I initially went into the store to get my phone screen fixed, and was satisfied with the service. However, 5 months later when I found out they gave me a defective phone screen because my phone stopped working, I was less pleased. When I took my phone to a different store, they were shocked by the screen I had payed $126 for. As was I, after seeing the TAPE coming off on the inside, and the many missing screws that were causing my phone screen to black out without notice for hours (which turned into days). Looking for an explanation, I went back to Great Computer Deals. I was met with rude employees, and an even more rude owner who claimed that I was shown a different phone screen than the one they had given me, and I had also been lying, then I was just plain wrong.

Poor quality employees, lack of experience, counterfeit equipment, repairs are not OEM but the cheapest parts they come across. This store is a front for EBay. They mostly buy and sell on eBay selling counterfeit equipment. When your in store they claim to be certified technicians. Beware of this place. If you want something cheep and fast that will last a short time shop here. If you care about your stuff shop somewhere else.

This store needs to work on customer service! Learn to diffuse a situation BEFORE it becomes one! And DONT wait until the customer is nearly to the door before suggesting an alternative! Example: No, I cannot make an exchange without a receipt. However, I can easily fix this for you. If you wait to make the suggestion until the customer is headed for the door and states that she will not be making any referrals, youve already lost her business AND pissed her off! And all over a $13 item...And now I plainly see that the owner could care LESS about my complaint over a $13 item...
