The Sears Hometown Store has been a great place to get Craftsman products. I remember years ago when I would spend a little bit of my paycheck to get new special tools. They also have Kenmore appliances of which I have purchased several over the years. I have 2appliances in my kitchen

These people have true customer service. They kindly stayed late to help me with a purchase protection claim for an item I bought from a Sears that went out of business. Good inventory in stock too.

They are going out of business. The sweetest family runs this place. Hate to see them go.

*Update* After the District Manager saw this review and our experience was fully clatified by email, I did get an apology from the saleswoman and they covered the expense of the part, plumbing, and honored the rebate. We were offered cash but to avoid another trip to that location we requested a gift certificate we can use online be sent.I appreciate Sears District Manager stepping in and I am adding 1 star because of that, but the Palatka Outlet is off my list of places to shop. There is nothing worse than an un-knowledgeable salesperson when you are dealing with a large Appliance purchase.Worse ever washer/dryer experience in my life. Salesperson had misinformation on reversible doors. No Delivery included. Gas Dryer was purchased to use with LP Gas and conversion kit was requested but instead saleswoman ordered a gas line. 11 days later after replumbing for washer that opens in wrong direction for our needs, we are now having to order and wait for the LP fitting.We went elsewhere for the part. Sears has lost a customer of 17 years. Oh and to add insult to injury Kenmore Units were made in Vietnam other in Korea. So much for Sears being known for American Made Products.Black Friday Deal that we can not now price match or they would have been returned.
