Pharmacy is a joke.. I go to pick up my medication and because I want to use my insurance card for the medication they tell me I need to come inside and wait for them to submit it... Im not dragging my kids out of my vehicle to come inside when you can do it all through the window thats the point of having a drive through.

I drop my paperwork off at 9:30 am every month and i usually dont get a text to pick them until after 5pm if i get one at all. Ive walked in and asked at 7 pm once and they hadnt even started filling it- they had to do it while i was there watching and it still took like 20 minutes for some reason. The store part is fine, but if you want medication from the pharmacy you looking at waiting all day. I believe they need to hire more pharmacy workers because its always an ordeal and takes forever to get anything filled! At least they do eventually fill them... i think they need to hire more people so that the wait lines and chaos was minimized.

So much for helping the people during a pandemic lol. An expired covid test was given it said expired the second taken out of the box, it was NEVER used. Tried to exchange just for another test and was told I was creating a bio hazard ( I’m not the one that who has any symptoms I’m helping out my sick sister ) and that I can’t get another test I’m out of luck lol. I wasn’t asking anyone to touch the test just to be given another one it cost 50 dollars lol.

Retail is fine. It’s the pharmacy that is terrible! They never answer the phone. Depending on who you talk to you get different answers.The pharmacist thinks he knows better than the doctor on matters what they should or shouldn’t be prescribed. Referred to the doctors at the back center as frauds and they didn’t know anything.

Worst pharmacy I have dealt with, however Charlie in the pharmacy is very nice. My husband had surgery at 6am this morning, Dr sent over 2 scripts for him at 9am. Called at noon to check when they filled and ready for pick up I was told they where waiting on a delivery, no problem understandable. By 4pm still no notification they where ready so I called. After being put on hold for 20 mins I was told they would be ready in a hour. So I drove over to pick them up an hour later still not filled was told 15 more mins. Now I am standing listening to a girl pharmacy tech talking garbage about a patient that was waiting before me. Very unprofessional and a couple comments violate HIPPA... Will be changing pharmacies completely disgusted with what seems to be the norm at this location.

If I could rate 0 stars I would, the worst service i have ever encountered! I needed them to get my prescription so they could fill it, I was told they would call and then let me know when it was ready but then never received a call. I decided to give them a call to ask and no one picked up so I eventually just decided to hang up. I go in and I tell the lady what I was told and they never called or had a clue what I was talking about. I get told to have a seat so they can call them even though it’s a waste of my time. Save your time and energy and go to a different one please!

This place doesn’t know whether they’re coming or going. Problem with our prescriptions every time we go. Waiting 20 minutes with only one person in front of us. What are the other 3 people doing. And the drive through in nasty. Crazy

Don’t deserve even 1 start. I have been told to pick the meds 2:00 pm. I have been waiting for more than 40 minutes and nothing yet. This is not the first time. Staff is rude. I am not going to choose CVS as my favorite CVS anymore.Really sad experience.

The manager Tim, chasing elderly people on the parking lot, accusing them of not paying for what they have in their hands. In my case I was told to leave my bags by the register, suspicious of stealing. Extremely RUDE, nasty and antisocial person. I DO NOT recommend shopping at this location.

Why the f does it take 4hrs to fill a script after an excruciating surgery doest make sense Walgreen take 20 mins I will be filing a complaint with the main office telling me they file them when they think its safe I just had triple hernia surgery and have to wait 5 hrs for my script who cares about the customer not cvs

Horrible pharmacy. Never answer the phone and somehow always seems to disconnect. Like the answering machine for the pharmacy isn’t irritating enough. They don’t care to help you, always a bad attitude. Also, I called yesterday to find out why my birth control prescription wouldn’t fill until next week and was on hold the whole time I drove there from work. About 15 minutes. When I drove up, there was no one in line in the drive through and not many cars in the parking lot. When I got to the window, girl was rude and looked like she just crawled out of bed. Shame they give people jobs to handle drugs who probably do them themselves.

Went to the phamacy drive thru today and thr lady was beyond rude and unhelpful. When I asked her questions she would roll her eyes. Is she too dumb to realize she is at a window where we can see her. Its not just one person everyone there seems to not know what is going on and always seems to think its the customer. As we speak I have been waiting for someine to pick up for 10 minutes.

I suggest finding any pharmacy except this one . They are never on time, they give always have different stories of why they cant fill on date they supposed to . The rest of my family uses publix and I dont even have to call them to remind them scripts are due they actually call me promptly . CVS will always give excuses, just like if they respond to this review it will be some lame duck excuse .

They hired a new whole new staff. The new pharmacy Amber Swan is awful. We have waited over two days for prescriptions and she can’t get it right. They don’t fill them when you drop them off they wait until you call. She is very rude inexperienced and doesn’t look at the profile to see what my son has been taking. Every-time we call she says it will be an hour. We’ve waited days. She is slow. It’s bad Walgreens can do scripts in 30 min. The only reason we go there because it’s in walking distance. They should’ve kept Richard. Since she has been there there’s always been a mistake with our prescriptions.

God awful experience every time I go in. Pharmacy is trash, everyone has a bad attitude. They put you on hold, then hang up so you have to call multiple times and wait in a que. I cannot stress enough how bad of a store this is. I hope someone reads this before making the same mistakes as I did choosing to shop here.

Doctor ordered an antibiotic for me on 11/17. Got a VMware saying it was delayed. Called 11/18 and auto magic voice said it was delayed until 11/30. HELLO, I have an infection that needs treating. Been on phone for over 40 mins. Thought they could transfer it, cannot do it online.

For some reason our insurance decided to make this our pharmacy instead of Walgreens who has their stuff together. The staff here is by far the most rude my wife and I have experienced. They have the power to fix the small issues but tell you to call their care number to resolve the issue and you just get the run around—and come to find out after all of that the pharmacy themselves could have taken care of it. They make things more difficult than they need to be. By far the worst pharmacy EVER. Never had this many problems with Walgreens or any other pharmacy for that matter.

This location is located in a great spot. And has just about everything I could ever need for a quick stop to the store. The photo department is great and I can. Print photos instantly and it doesnt matter at what time. Whether I need gift bags a quick snack or drink or needing to grab an over the counter medicine its right there for me

Pharmacist questioned why my psychiatrist prescribed me with adderal. Before being able to get my prescription he was going to have me wait until he can get in contact with my doctor who isnt in office all week but Tuesdays. I changed pharmacies... They never get anything done on time and never inform of changes. The CVS on the corner of babcock and new haven is much better.

Worst pharmacy ever!!! Have had my prescription for two days now. The fist day received text message after 8 hours that my order was ready. To arrive and find they didnt have the most important prescription because if was out of stock....then they said because the doctor wrote a strength that doesnt exist.... And never bothered to call the doctor... The lady who rung me up asked if they could reach out to their on call doctor, and after waiting 10 mins said they couldnt do anything. When asked why they never called earlier, they had no idea. ... Now back to pick up my prescription 24 hours later to find they never heard back from my doctor. Yet when I called my doctor they confirmed my doctor did call and resolved the issue. But meanwhile the pharmacist then tried to say they didnt talk to a pharmacist.......... So you have people taking calls who shouldnt........ And because of this no medication..... Never will come back here. And just like my doctor who has a specific note hanging in their office to not use this pharmacy due to countless issues, I will do the same.

Be sure to make sure your getting your prescriptions filled as you need them, before you pay. Husband was prescribed a new RX and the pharmacy filled 3 months worth of a drug he will only need to take for one month. I wished they had asked before filling multiple months of the prescription. I didn’t know they had filled three months since it was a new RX until I got home and opened the bag. It cost me $90 additional dollars and my insurance an additional $1066.66. I promptly called and they of course can’t take them back. What a waste of money and drugs.

The pharmacist seems to think that he has the power to override a prescription issued by a Doctor with a medical degre . You need a new pharmacist with a REAL DEGREE, not a joke from a Technical Institute or an Online Degree. Good luck in court.

First year I went to this pharmacy there were no problems. Beginning in June/July 2018, the pharmacist (middle-aged man) decided he would stop filling on of my prescriptions. I have two prescriptions that are refilled every month, same order for two years. My prescription is issued by a well established doctor who called this pharmacist and explained the issues of what would happen if my prescription stopped immediately. This pharmacist had no concern for me and presented a degrading tone throughout the whole ordeal. Also, they will be late every single time - 1/2 the time i have to call to remind them I was promised the prescription days before. I’m very happy to be moving so I no longer have to use this CVS. Just use Walgreens or discount pharmacy ( who were very pleasant!)

The pharmacy is way understaffed and RUDE!!! They were questioning my scripts when I went there. I get my scripts filled at CVS. Recently had the exact same ones filled at another CVS. I highly recommend driving the extra mile or 2 to go to the other CVS’s in the area.

I agree that the Pharmacy staff needs re-training. I am part of working class. I punch a clock. All I needed was some cold medicine you can only get behind the counter. They would not help me 4 minutes before they open so I can get to work. I understand policy but 4 minutes so those of us who choose the store so we can be on and out.....thats a bit ridiculous

Their pharmacy staff needs to be retrained in customer service. I have never been told that I cant wait for my prescriptions. I had 3 to be filled and was told by the pharmacy staff member that I could not wait and had to come back several hrs later because there were just too many. I worked in a pharmacy for over 5 years and I have never told a patient they could not wait. You may tell them the wait time is longer that average, but you never tell them they may not wait. Just now I called to refill 2 prescriptions and talked to a pharmacy staff member who just told me Ill have to hold, not will you please hold, she told me Ill have to hold before shed even take any info from me. I held for 20 min and the phone hung up. Im transferring my prescriptions to Walmart. Im just done with this. I I could give you fewer than one star I would because you dont deserve the one I gave you.

Since CVS as a company started making cut backs to make up for some if the cost of buying Target pharmacys contract, the drop in customer service quality has been very apparent. 3 weeks ago my wife picked up a standard monthly prescription shes been getting for quite some time. She looked it over in the car and the pharmacist had taken it upon himself to change her medication from a thirty day supply of a low dose to a much higher dose of the same medicine in 7 day pack form. When she took it in and asked to speak to the manager, the manager flipped his cute little emo bangs out of his eyes so it would be much more clear to the customer before him that he was indeed rolling his eyes over the situation. He then turned without saying anything and stormed to the pharmacy, stopping about ten yards from where he left my wife and huffed well are you coming or not??. Cute. Once they reached the pharmacy, the pharmacist attempted to argue with my wife and make this her fault. However, as my wife pointed out, the mobile app that informs customers that their prescriptions are ready also shows details of the prescription on file that is ready to be picked up. Im sure you fills can guess where this is going. Yup. It matched exactly what she was supposed to have, the thirty day low dose supply and not a high dose 7 day pack. Not one apology from the manager, certainly not one from the pharmacist who quickly refilled and tore up the receipt and documentation of the incorrect medications he blindly filled and would own his mistake. I wouldnt be surprised to see this location close. Now a days, it seems like Im waiting longer in line. I didnt mind in the past, because customers and employees were all happy and it was just an understanding that a lot of people needed medication and they can only move so fast. But now the wait is longer because theyre just as busy, but have to spend so much time with customers returning from a recent pick up and fix a mistake of miscounts, mis-dosing, or providing incorrect medicine altogether. Sad. This was once a great pharmacy to work with. Now Im up in the air about where to move my familys pharmacy needs to.

Wow, what a wonderful pharmacy team at this location!!! Amanda the pharmacist makes you feel like a family member with her complete concern of your wellbeing. She is spectacular!!!! Rich the pharmisist is very consistent as a pharmacist, you just have to get him to smile!!! Once you get that smile from him, you have him in your pocket. The technicians, Tiffany, Sarah, Sara, Jen and all the rest of them are awesome!!! We need to get Ciro back to, he really completes the team. Ciro where are you??? This is defiantly the CVS you want to use for prescriptions. They all are a fantastic team!!!!Where the negative reviews that I have read came from is beyond me. Maybe those people that wrote them should look in the mirror and reflect on how they were when they approached the pharmacy counter. In general, I would say that on the whole I really like CVS Pharmacy, because it has a lot of really interesting types of comfort food and drinks. There is an amazing selection of various items in this high ceiling, spacious store.The staff that runs the front part of the business, seem to always be sober and on the ball.Alas, the actual pharmacy at the back of the business is an absolute disaster. I have never in all my life dealt with such a skeleton crew of brain fog zombies and brain Fart nincompoops when it comes to dealing with the pharmacist and his assistants. They are literally the most disorganized group of cloud nine dingbats I have ever come across anywhere in the universe. Its like being in a bad episode of The Twilight Zone.Corporate HQ really needs to do a complete training update of the pharmacists and their motley crew of space cadets. In the future I think Im going to fill my prescriptions someplace else, like boring Walgreens, where at least they have it together mentally and organizationally.

I wish I could rate the pharmacy department here 0 stars. I will never be going back to this pharmancy again unless they do some cleanup on the staff. Ive been going to CVS for over 5 years now mostly to the one on 92 and Babcock so I decided to give this one a try due to the fact that it was next to my childs daycare. Well big mistake they said they could only fill part of my prescription due to the fact that they did not have the full prescription but they would in two days so they gave me enough for two days I said thats fine. I called 2 Days Later and they told me my prescription was ready so I went to the pharmacy to pick it up only to find out upon arrival that in fact I could not pick up my prescription due to the fact that it had to be authorized by the person who completed my first transaction with the partial prescription so I would have to wait an additional 3 days which means I would I be out of my medicine for 5 days potentially putting me at risk for widrawl...very unprofessional. Lack of communication, misleading information and not to mention driving out of my way to pick up my medicine (when I got a text saying it was ready), waste of gas and time!! Never again no thank you. Horrible customer service.

I received a text my 3 prescriptions needed to be refilled, did I want them to call the doctor. I replied with Yes. Received another text next day saying the prescriptions were ready. I had friend pick them up and she returned with only one. I called CVS and they said that they oy had one and the others needed doctors authorization. I was out of a few others and gave her the list to get authorized. I received another text saying my prescription was ready. I called to make sure all were ready only to be told none were ready and that all needed to get doctors authorization to refill. I do remember calling them and going through this already, which is what I told her. Her excuse was they dont know what happened. She said she would fax the doctor the refill needs. Not trusting them now, I called the doctors office to make sure they sent the fax. The office was receiving it while I called, but the office wouldnt approve 3 of the prescriptions because they had already sent the approval on the 15th. I called CVS again and this time some woman with a West Indian accent answered and told me they didnt get any authorizations on the 15th, which was a lie because they did fill one of the 3 prescriptions back then. She RUDELY told me there was nothinf she could do so without the authorization I wasnt getting my prescriptions. She wouldnt let me get a word in and kept talking over me while I was trying to ask her to call the doctors office and please explain to them that they didnt have the authorization. I ended up calling corporate CVS to complain. We will see what they do. I have been using this pharmacy for over 4 years and it has just turned really bad in the last six months or so. They need to clean house and get all new pharmacy staff.

The pharmacist rich is the best!!very fast service and wait time for your prescriptions are minimal usually 15 mins. Or less!!I had a different foreign pharmacist that filled my rx the other day and wouldnt fill my other rx when it was legally fillable within the 3 day leeway!!didnt get her name but wish I would have but I will tell the manager of the pharmacy next time if I fill my prescriptions there again.. this one women was the only person I ever had a problem with at this location!!

Received terrible customer service from Haitian pregnant women. My doctor called in my prescription by accident to a near by cvs. The women was unwilling to help me locate my prescribed medication and impatiently rudely forwarded me to a young Spanish girl. The Spanish girl was friendly and patient she then located my prescription and had it forwarded to this cvs. Also I was unaware that they had shorted me on my pills. I was supposed to receive 28 pills and only received 22, after waiting 45 min they couldnt even take the time to count the pills correctly. I am not surprised at all as most americans take they easy way out and rarely go the extra mile, then complain later how they are underpaid. I was not impressed by cvss judgment in hiring that women. However that Spanish women did an amazing job and I am thankful for her.
