I was never a big fan of Publix, but this one is very good. Definitely the best one in the area. Spacious, bright, clean and the staff very friendly.

The produce is horrible all the fruit was molded I was really shocked to see this in public

Its a Brand New Publix supermarket.This store has just about everything you will ever need from a grocery store.The Bakery has fresh bread baked twice a day, Deli has Boars head meats and Cheese along with the Publix brand of high quality deli items. This store has a superior selection of domestic and imported Cheeses to pair with a nice Bottle of Wine from the stores large Wine department. Fruits and Vegetables are fresh and vary with seasonal availability.From hot food to sandwiches the Deli has you covered. Steak, Seafood, and Chicken are the highest Quality and always Fresh.Parking here is fantastic, and the bag service to your vehicle is complimentary.

Never crowded. Very new and clean. Great selection. They even offer to take my groceries to the store. Its like living in an earlier time. In a good way.

This publix is very nice, its new so it has many new additions that you may not see in an older publix. Such as a pineapple slicing machine. Overall a great shopping experience

This is the only publix I will shop at. Its super clean. Basically new. And parking is NOT a nightmare. Plus the have a salad bar, soup bar and hot food bar twice a day. And a chicken wing bar on the weekends.

This Publix is fabulous. It has only been open a few years as it came on board when they opened the Alton housing community but it does everything so well youd think theyve been opened for years and years. The shelves are clean, very well-stocked and they have a large selection of products in almost every Department. Their buy one get one free specials are over-the-top and one thing that really sets them apart from other grocery stores is if you cant find an item you are looking for they wont just tell you what Lane in, they will walk you to it.

Always friendly, well organized and well stocked (looking at you abacoa). Tara M is delightful. Best Publix by a margin. Only thing missing would be having 1 self checkout lane.

Nice publix, the layout is a little different from most stores. Has a good selection of food for those who dont want to cook a meal or even lunch. Most of the cashiers are pretty friendly.

I have NEVER had such a hard time placing my order. I order online all the time & haven’t experienced the problems I’ve had with this order. It took me over 2 hrs to get this done. I think I could have walked to Publix & back in that time. Items l didn’t order were added-I had to take off. My payment was declined 4 times. I put the same cc # in over & over. First was told acct # wrong, then card would not support order, then cvc was wrong. It wasn’t. Finally fifth time same numbers & it all went through.

Well my shopping experience is indeed a pleasure. I enjoy the browsing, going down each aisle and viewing what new items, that tmay be available. The employees are always pleasant and willing to help, even if you dont ask them to. Publix is a place where shopping is a pleasure!

Gerline in Deli has horrible customer service skills and cannot even communicate properly to customers. Thats why the 1 star.

My new 1st choice grocery store. We actually reside quite a bit closer to the Abacoa Publix which is basically a stones throw away from the new Alton Publix yet I will drive past the nearest one to shop at the Alton one almost every time. I like the store layout better and no matter what time I go there is very few other shoppers to dodge which is especially helpful during this Pandemic. Parking is plentiful and well designed for us to get in & out swiftly with yummy places surrounding the plaza if we ever feel like grabbing a bite before or after.

If your upwardly mobile and hungry for wings and hummus, this is your place.

Pharmacy employees are organized and polite. Store is clean.

I was out of coffee ... and a few other items. I find the quality and variety of Publixs products offered quite nice. Needless to say ... I went for coffee and milk and came out over 100 dollars later with some super good stuff. Love their freshly cooked fried chicken, bakery pastries, shrimp plates and ALOT more.The staff, cashiers, food/deli/bakery workers, and inventory shelf preparers have always been and continue to be exceptionally personable and extremely helpful. I like shopping here.

This store is EXCEPTIONAL in helping customers find that 1 special wierd something they need, packing your groceries for carrying up stairs or assisting loading groceries into your car. They sanitize their grocery carts before you take them from the corral in the front of the store. I enjoy all the cooks and deli help ... they are cool, friendly and you can tell they LIKE to serve the customer.

My favorite Publix clean and the parking isnt crazy

Most departments are terrific such as meats, bakery, deli and dairy. Produce and spice restocking are the reason for my low rating. One produce person should not work with people as he doesnt want to do more than stock . I was only there twice and each time, he didnt want to help me. On one occasion, he discouraged another wonderfully helpful person from helping me plus their masks fell off their noses when they spoke. This produce section had rules that other Publixes do not. If you dont care about service in produce, the produce was okay.

Clean, neat, sweet staff, nice full displays, 99% of my. List in stock! Liked the quality of the product, stocked up on rapini on sale!! Definitely gonna be back! Thanx all? 👍

The Alton store is always clean, stocked, & organized. All the employees are very courteous & helpful. If you can, try to get Margaret as a cashier. Shes very outgoing & knowledgeable.

Picked up meds and got daughter her flu shot. She got her a $10 Publix gift card as part of their promo with flu shots. Everyone is happy! :D

I usually have a great experience here. I come often, as I live in the apartment complex right behind the store. Usually everyone is friendly and I find exactly what I need. This morning however, I was met with a large amount of attitude from the lady who was helping me at the cash register. I dont know if my presence made her upset, or if she just doesnt like her job.

Great deals and daily discounts. They also give a free item every week. In store deli and Starbucks. What more could you want ?

I like the Publix at Alton but I do not agree with the corporate policy of allowing customers to shop without wearing masks. I will not shop there until I feel safe. There are plenty of other stores that put health and safety first.

Beautiful new store. I visited yesterday for the first time, and although most people were wearing masks, a couple were not. Its obvious the store is not enforcing wearing masks at a time when the coronavirus cases, and hospitalizations are on the rise in Florida. Unacceptable.

This Publix is absolutely gorgeous on the inside. So far the staff have been wonderful as well. The produce section, in particular, stands out as being very attractive as soon as you walk in the door. The parking lot isnt perfect though. Do to routing of one way lanes, its a bit awkward to leave through the main entrance since you have to scuttle around short stops to get out. Thats not enough to keep me from going though!

I drove there at night, heading west on Donald Ross. I turned on Alton and again at the first set of bright, lighted PUBLIX signs I saw, which lead me down a dark alley onto a dead end, empty street with partly constructed housing.After making it back near the main road and finding another entrance, I went in the store which appeared to me to be nearly empty of customers. There was plenty of staff on-hand, none of whom said hello, and I quickly left.I would not recommend going there at night.

Brand new, nice Publix

Very disappointed to see how they let customers in the store with no masks!!! I was in yesterday late afternoon and i was one of the only customers wearing a mask!!! Shows such a lack of respect for their employees and customers!!! I guess i will be shopping else where!

By far the best Publix Ive been to...pharmacy staff is amazing. Customer service is second to none. So glad they opened.

Absolute worst customer service at the deli that I have ever had at any publix in my life. Waited 10 minutes in line for a sub and when it was my turn they took the people BEHIND ME. I was finally helped after every person behind me was helped. Terrible customer service and I wont be going back there again.

Not sure how the ordering is done at this store but seems to be out of basic items every time I go. Today once again the bakery out- of whole wheat bread. When I inquired, I was told by bakery guy should have some this afternoon. I let me know that 4 out of 5 times they are out, his response I dont know what to tell you. What has happened to Publix ? Customer service used to be their highlight. Now its nonexistent. LLP
