Placed an order, got the confirmation to pick it up and drove all the way down there to be told it wont be ready till 7. thats 5hrs from now... kind of a big difference than being ready. waste of my time and now days the job back another day + the gas I used coming down here and now having to do it all over again later cost more than what I ordered. about to take my business else where for good

Worst customer service ever. Jimmy autozone sales associate was extremely rude, very unfriendly and needs to know how to handle customer. Instead pf greeting me with a Good morning welcome to Autozone. Jimmy said where is your mask ?When I told him I didnt have one and I am welcome to put one on if they had a spare one he responded,we dont have free mask,mask are a $1 Not once did he even ask why I was in the store and what I purchasing to begin with. I left went straight to O O OReillys and the lady gave me a mask and I bought my alternator there. Thank you Jimmy I will never shop at AutoZone again.

On Saturday evening, June 12th, I was driving around Palm Springs and got a low oil pressure warning on my 2013 Toyota Venza. 4 days earlier, I had performed an ill-advised oil change for the very first time in my life. I was coerced by my 15-year old son to do so, since he has an interest in cars. We managed to do everything, but replace the oil filter, since I couldnt get purchase on it with my ratchet set. Lucky for me, I pulled in to the Vista Chino location and told two wonderful AZ employees employees, what I think I had done and posited that I had a leak either from my oil pan or (more likely) from the oil filter casing. Ryan, the parts manager immediately jumped into action, calmed my wracked nerves and worry, and grabbed a few quarts of oil, ran some infrared dye through the car and determined that it WAS the oil filter. Long story short, he went out of his way to help, crawled under my car, jacked it up and helped me until he couldnt possibly go any further. He advised me to not drive unnecessarily that night and told me to take it into the Jiffy Lube in Cathedral City the next morning. The next morning, I took it into them and they replaced the o-ring for no charge and topped off my oil at no charge! I routinely go to Auto Zone both in Huntington Beach and elsewhere, but the kindness, professionalism and care that Ryan and his other associate took with me can never possibly be repaid. I owe this young man a debt of gratitude and when Im next in Palm Springs, Ill stop in to say hello and thank him again in person. He likely saved me from my engine seizing up. Thank you, Ryan! On Jan 22, 2021 I came in at night with both of my headlights burned out! The guys there were extremely patient and helpful. They helped me get the right bulbs and I was able to change those things out myself... Then after that, when I accidentally locked myself out of my car 🤦🏽‍♀️ they were nice enough to let me use the phone to call AAA and they let me wait inside the store, even though they were closing, so that I would feel safe. Jimmy and Jeffrey!! You gentlemen, are outstanding! Thank you for laughing with me and not at me 😂

I Walked in and they showed me how to use the fix my car plug-in control module and within 5 mins they told how to fix my check engine light problem. Outstanding service.

Terrible customer service the manager had a nerve to tell me I couldnt return parts..so I showed up the next day to return some parts and it went off without a hitch. Unlike the manager who was so rude to tell me they dont do returns..maybe he needs to be retrained in customer service because he has terrible communication skills. Not everyone is a bad customer.

If youre not driving a Jeep Wrangler..I mean lets be real. I Jeep compass isnt really a jeep. If you dont have a Wrangler I fear for your safety. I went to the Auto Zone on Date Palm to buy three motor mounts, two for the front and a transmission mount. The store clerk told me that they did not have one of my parts in stock. He said they could order it and it would arrive in a day. This wasnt going to work for me, my mechanic was only in town for the day and, he had rerouted his trip to come work on my car. So, the store then tried calling your store(Vista Chino). You had my part in stock. Yah! 😀 So, I drove to the other store and picked up my part. It wasnt busy. I seemed to be only customer there at the time. The store clerk had a small debate with his fellow employee about pulling the part and was informed that paid for parts are pulled from the shelf. I thought this was kind of odd but whatever.lolAnyway thanks for having my part in stock and making the process easy.

I went to this store and asked for help. The one of the associate was rude and refused my help. I asked that why and he said this is complicated. I didn’t think so. He was just excused. I left and went to O’Reilly auto parts and asked same thing. Their associates were nice and friendly and helped me with no problem. It wasn’t complicated at all. You don’t want to go to Autozone on Vista Chino Palm Springs to get rudeness.

The people here were friendly and generally informative. The store was well kept and there was virtually no waiting at the checkout line. Could offer some more brands of certain products, i.e. interior repair, lamp related items and general tools, but still a good store.

Autozone was great. The people working there were very helpful and friendly. But when I went there on 3/9/21, as I was backing out to leave, someone did what seemed to be attempted insurance fraud. A light gray or silver Chevy Silverado sped in behind me as I was still backing up with my backup lights on. I was trying to back up and turn at the same time so I didnt see him. It was all clear one second, then he was there the next. Fortunately the cross traffic alert sounded in my car and I immediately stopped. But who drives up to a car with its backup lights on? This could happen anywhere. Beware of insurance fraudsters in Palm Springs.

Doesn’t autozone install batteries?Isnt that one of the things there in for helping customers do?The older guy who works here just flat out told me no they couldn’t and wouldn’t give me a reason behind it.Terrible rude lazy customer service.

Very unorganized. Employees seemed un-knowledgeable and distracted. My best comparison is that they were like chickens running around with their heads cut off. Also, the store seemed very loud. The noise seemed to be coming from the a/c ducting. The manager was also yelling across the store to employees, probably because of the noise. I almost had an anxiety attack in just the few minutes I was in there.

I went to their website, and ordered the car battery that they recommended, based on the make and model of my car. I prepaid for it, and when I got to the store, that particular model number was for a tiny motorcycle battery, that looks nothing like the one that I THOUGHT I was getting.The clerks couldnt refund the money, or apply it to the purchase of the battery that I actually, because they said that it was paid for by a credit card, and it would have to go back to the card. Another lie! I paid for it with a debit card, he responded, yeah...but it was billed as a credit card.I had to pay full price for a second battery, and am still out of the money for the first one, for at least a week, until the credit shows up on my card...and I have serious doubts that it ever will, without further advocacy from me.NEVER AGAIN, WILL I DEAL WITH THIS TOTALLY INEPT COMPANY! NEVER!!!

They are always so helpful my battery died today, went in they had it in stock and even offered to install it for me. That was such a great thing for them to offer

I was happy with my oil change, which was speedy, they also served free coffee in the lobby and had comfortable couches to sit on- inside or out. I was with all 3 of my children and there was even a little space for them to run around without it being horribly obnoxious. I will definitely be back!

Excellent experience. My battery was dead, towing company jumped it. I then drove to AutoZone and left the car running in the parking lot. Went in, battery was in stock, Ryan quickly installed it and I was in my way. Store was neat and clean, too.

I called them up and within minutes they had my car repaired and ready to go in minutes. They saved me quite a bit of money too. One of the better ones, but depending on who you get. Word of advice, dont buy the store brand gel battery. They dont last, and the stores dont like to exchange them. Ive had 4 now and each one has been the same hassle. You should get more for the price you pay.

Ive shopped at this Autozone for over a decade. Never had a bad experience. Theyve been busy a few times, which made them hurry, but they were still nice. Helped me with windshield wipers AND battery stuff.

I stopped in to get my battery checked, which they did for free. Nice people. As it turned out, I didnt need a new battery after all. Theres no reason for me to not reccomend this place. 👍🚘

Helpful staff. When I had an issue with my car and used their diagnostic device they walked me thru what typically causes the issue I had and showed me the parts that may need to be replaced and what questions to ask my mechanic since I couldnt fix the problem myself. I didnt feel like I was being talked down to, which sometimes happens as a female with car issues.

Out of all the Autozones ive been at this one has to be my favorite. They price match their next door neighbors prices. They are really good at what they do giving the customer satisfaction. When I had a issue with some brake pads I believe it was Ryan who helped me contact other stores and the distribution center to find the right brake pads. There was evidently no fix to it but an A+ for amazing help and effort. I strongly reccomend this Autozone for resources, questions, and products for your car needs.
